My new friends, as of this letter, are cloud(a pikipek that evolved into a trumbeak), tremor(a diglett. they have hair here!), and xipil(a growlithe. i couldn't resist having one fire pokemon, and he's so playful he reminded me of when pyre was a puppy).

He twitched his ear to pikipek drilling holes into trees and trumbeak singing around him, and he looked up and could see some sleeping komala in the trees. "i'm probably gonna sleep again; be as lazy as i can manage for the next week."

Having not fallen for his scheme as the others had, the flying pokemon immediately gave chase before the others, the toucannon having called not only random flying pokemon from nearby but what appeared to be its own flock of pikipek and trumbeak.
