volund snarls and cuts the tail. aelis recoils, pulling it back, the blood trailing along the ground as she stares him down. volund stands up, rubbing his neck with one hand, his flesh slightly bruising.

He took off the armor volund made for him and placed it on a stand in the corner of the room. it was mostly ceremonial as equus rarely is ever in combat personally, but he is sure that it was combat ready. volund would not have anything less for him.
