So many references! I love filling these chapters with determinat-err references!

"You are the one that was chose-en. You are the hero that I need. Bring her to me, bring her to me. You are my savior, riolu."

The voice pestered him throughout the first two floors, to the point where Lucius had to sit out during battle because he could never get the concentration to summon his aura. Then, on the third and final floor, it stopped. And it was always a song. Always the same tune. Never the same words.

"I long to showcase my tal-ent. I wish to show the world my song. A-las I can't, a-las I can't, for I am locked in this tower."

"Anyone else hear that?" Lucius would ask. The reply was an ever-increasing concerned "Hear what, exactly?"

"Nothing"

On the third floor, there was a statue. Or so they thought, at least. Under it was a plaque. Six dots open three doors. This is the first. Under it were odd patterns, presumably some form of writing.

"The key to finding the an-swer; it li-ies in the pupataur. He knows the way, he knows the way. To free me and the others, too," the soft, melodious voice in Lucius's head sang. "Nobody heard that just now. Not a single one of you?"

"Again, heard what?" Fern inquired.

"Umm..."

After a few seconds of uncomfortable silence, Typhon cleared what little throat he had. "So. I think that this is a Do'ta door. If you read it right and then you perform the task it sets, you can enter. I'm pretty sure that this reads A psychic from the olden times, step forth and push the door, although there is one extra letter here..."

"Got it!" Fern exclaimed. She ran up and shoved her shoulder against the door. "Uhh... Typhon, nothing happened."

Just then, another song broke out in Lucius's head. "I am sending you a psychic. She was brought to me by Celibi. Take care of her, take care of her. You will need her in the days to come."

As the song ended, Lucius asked again. "No one heard that song?"

"Lucius..." Eve started.

"I'm not crazy! There was a song!"

"I know. I heard it too. We all did," Eve said slowly. "Is that what you've been complaining about this entire time? It was so... enchantingly beautiful and eerie at once..."

"I knew I wasn't crazy! I knew!"

"U-umm, s-sorry to i-intrude." A female voice began, stumbling with her words as if the language was new to her. Which, of course, it was. "But d-do you know w-where this i-is? I'm-" She said something that started with an I and had two guttural stops in it-"b-but my c-c-core n-name is Chiss." The kirlia speaking did a little curtsey. The members of Team Storm were startled by her sudden appearance and weren't quite sure what to make of her. "Her name sounds like something from the Golden Period, from right after the fire, but..." Fras faltered. Being the only linquest in a group of historians and adventurers, he was the only one who had a right to speak, yet he didn't feel... Worthy? Expert enough? to speak. "That's when we started moving from old Poké to middle Poké, and names got all long as first names and surnames combined to make one long identifying name. The guttural stops show where each part ends, and the core name is what we call the middle name."

"That's it! That's why the door didn't work for Fern! The letter I couldn't translate. It was a g! Now, instead of olden times, it reads golden times," Typhon turned to Chiss. "Excuse me, could you please push the door? It would be a huge favor."

"O-okay. M-my friend told me it's okay."

She pushed the door, and sure enough, it opened into a vast hidden chamber that wasn't obvious on the outside, but due to the sidrat effect, mystery dungeons can be bigger on the inside as long as someone has drawn attention to its apparent disobedience of the laws of physics (when Tyler the roserade stumbled into the dungeon a few days prior, she said "It's bigger on the inside!" before muttering something about misbehaving poochyena.) Anyway, the room opened. And in the middle of the room was a cage, and in the cage was the singer. Song herself, in fact. Meloetta, the spirit of song and dance, in a cage in an out of the way mystery dungeon. How could that have happened?
