#19 of Life In College

Well, after being gone forever, here I am again! As usual I don't have much to say, other than the fact that this was a bit longer than I would have liked.

I'll try and shorten the next part, and soon I'll be rounding out Thomas's entire collage career. I'm short on ideas after this series, but I'll think of something along the way of finishing this.

Again thanks to all my watchers, and my more recent watchers! I appreciate the love, and there'll always be more to come!

I think I was sweating. No, I knew I was sweating. My eyes felt dry, as did my tongue, and all the saliva I could lick onto my lips didn't do a thing.

My chest was tight too. My ears twitched nervously, and I knew my fur probably looked like it had been assaulted by a tornado. I had run from my dorm this morning, pulling a t-shirt over my head, pants halfway on. My backpack slapped my back, and my feet whack whack whacked the concrete as I tore form my dorm.

But that had been thirty-six minutes ago. And now here I was, practically alone, sitting down with no escape. And with everything I tried, every muscle I tensed, every ounce of power I feed into my brain...

I couldn't figure out the answer to problem #18.

I know, all that shitting for one little problem huh? Well, if your just plain stupid when it comes to math and mathematics, then I'm sure you understand. Math is my weak subject, even though I had studied all night for my exam. I just had the one today, like every day I had just one exam. It was thursday, and I had three exams down. Including math in the "done" category left me with friday, which was history. The American Revolution? Pfff, no big.

Problem #18 on this math test? Nope, I flunk. Sorry, I tired but wasn't good enough. See ya!

stop this I told my brain do that thing where you figure out this problem, then I get to go back outside and smoke!

So I put my pencil to my paper, and relaxed. There were only thirty five problems on the exam, and I had an hour and a half until the time was up. I shared math with Cale, but he was already done, the bookworm. He and Anji were probably outside now, skating on the planters or hanging out with Rani and a new girl Anji had started hanging out with.

I shook my head, and cleared my throat. This was just five more problems about linear equations, and I had been learning about that shit since my freshman year.

So I looked at the problems, did my best to shut out the dull noise of other pencils and the drone of a nearby fan, and I took my test.

After class, I apparently took my math test all the way to B town, or so the fat red letter at the top of the page read. I looked from my test to my professor, an old crow named Jason Nesh. No, I mean he's a crow, not that he's old. Well, he's old too, but that's beside the point.

"Just four points shy from an A Thomas," he told me. "A couple of those word problems and you'd have done much better."

"Ah," I rubbed the back of my neck, my face red in a happy way. "Math's not really my dig."

"Well regardless," Mr Nesh held out his hand now, which I shook. "It was an honor to have you as a student."

"Thanks," I smiled. Mr. Nesh smiled back at me, and I left his classroom. Out the door, and in the hall, I silently congratulated myself for not being such a total dummy after all. My smile got wider as I left the math building, then walked across the grass to Green Pines campus center. The sun began to bear down on me as soon as I was outside though, and I rubbed the back of my neck again. I had been smart to wear a white shirt and shorts today, it just had to been over 9 billion degrees outside.

Walking to the Campus center, I saw Anji, Cale, Rani, Anji's new girl and then Rel all sitting at a tall circular stand where a few palm tress grew. I started down the steps, my smile still wide from my victory in math, and I went to meet my friends.

"Oh he made it!" Anji spun to face me, throwing his arms out wide. "My baby came out of math alive! Praise JESUS!" the wolf then closed the few feet between us, and threw his arms around me. Remember, Anji had somehow gotten taller, and I had gotten a little taller. Maybe a little on the heavier side too, but that's just me. Anji picked me up now, smothering me in a tight hug that crushed my body to his, and smashed the wind out of my lungs.

"Thanks pal," I managed a wheeze. The wolf set my upright, and I wobbled a bit. Past Anji's shoulder I could see Rel. Her dark hair was pulled back into a short ponytail, and she smiled at me. I smiled back at her, and Anji and I walked to where the rest were.

"How bout Ranner's English test though," Cale scoffed.

"Easy shit," Anji said with his usual smile. I rolled my eyes, my arm around Rel's waist. The six of us all walked to the pool house now, all three of the girls expressing an interest in going swimming before it got to late. Both Anji and I were game, and Cale tagged along with Rani.

"Fucking Louser's test wasn't a joke," I commented.

"I can't believe you kept him all through this year," Anji shook his head. "Dude was a nutter."

"Bullshit," was my reply. "You only dropped out and took Ranner's class because he was an easy A."

"Yep," Anji put his paws behind his head, winking at me. I shook my head and Rel laughed, her own paw holding mine. She was wearing a a set of shorts and a tank top, her long tail lazily brushing the grass while we walked.

"I'm just glad it's almost over," Anji said with a sigh.

"You can say that again," Cale replied.

"Mhmm," came my response.

"You still gonna go with your old man on that boat trip Anji?" Cale asked.

"Yeah," the wolf said. He ran his fingers down his girlfriends back, a younger fox named Cassidy Field. "He won't let me dip out on him now, since he said that I was 'insisting on going with him' and all that."

"Right," Cale nodded. Cale looked at me, then asked me what he had asked Anji.

I frowned, then shook my head and shrugged my shoulders. "I guess I'll chase the writing dream dude. I mean it can't all end in smoke and fire after all this time."

"To true," Cale nodded.

"What about you bookworm?" Anji let go of Cassidy now, and threw his arm around Cale's shoulders. "What's the plan-o?"

"Studying," Cale said. "Mom wants me to go into the psychology field with her, and dad's at her shoulder."

"Aw piss that," Anji ruffled Cale's hair, who groaned. Anji let his friend go though, still smiling as he put an arm over Cassidy's shoulders.

The walk to the pool house was hot, but I told myself it would be worth it to dive into the cold, refreshing water. I licked my lips for whatever reason, then tasted the metal of my bottom lip piercing. I had gotten the metal ring done just last month, but the hole had already healed nicely. At first I had thought about snake bites, then the "SAVE YOUR MONEY!" part of my brain kicked me, and I settled with just the one piercing.

In the pool house, I immediately let the stress and weight of finals week ease from my shoulders. I heard the soft lap and tap of water on the pools edge, saw the calming, easy ripples in the water. I saw all the swim team standing by the pools edge, the senior swim team leader talking to all the girls.

The swim team. The word fuck ran through my mind when I observed the girls in their form fitting one pieces, and I ran my eyes nervously over the assembled swimmers. Maybe by slim chance, I wouldn't run into...

The word fuck ran through my mind again when I saw Kiylee, standing with her paws behind her back as the swim leader talked.

Not a second later Anji tapped my shoulder, and I looked at the wolf. "Just ignore her," he said calmly.

"If Annie comes over here, It was nice knowing you," I told the wolf. Anji grinned at me, and I offered him my own sheepish smile.

The six of us all walked to the bleachers, and Anji and I shed out backpacks. Rani, Cassidy and Rel all shed their purses and book bags, then shed their clothes as well. I payed absolute attention to Rel as she slid out of her shorts. I was more than sure that a long rope of drool was going from my lips to the pool floor, but If there was I didn't notice. Rel didn't have the biggest butt to be completely honest, but that was fine by me. She was just a touch on the bigger side, with wide hips and nice, thick legs. I swallowed now, leaning back in the bleachers. It was cool in the pool house, but I knew before long I'd have to take my shirt off. My thin, built figure drove Rel crazy, I knew it did. She could spend hours and hours running her fingers down my frame, tickling my hips when she toyed with me. I won't complain, she drives me nuts too. It's just her plump figure really, I love bigger girls.

Rel flicked her shorts behind her, then pulled off her tank top, revealing the slim, bright red bikini she wore. Her bottom piece matched, and the golden hoops that held the pieces together caught my eye. God was she a figure carved from marble. Beside Rel, Cassidy had pulled off her own clothes, and wore a bright green two piece suit. The foxes dark orange coat and dark red dyed hair caught Anji's eyes. For a second I thought he was choking because Cassidy looked so good, but when looked at him, I let out a laugh. The wolf was panting, his pink tongue hanging from his mouth and his tail rapping the metal bleacher seat. Rel, Rani and Cassidy all turned to look at me, and Cassidy put her paws over her mouth when she saw Anji. The wolf wagged his tail more now, and let out a low bark.

The girls drifted off to the pools edge, and Anji and I watched them go. The wolf let out a whistle, his tail beating a hole in the bleachers. Cassidy turned around, a paw over her mouth. I shook my head at Anji, still watching Rel. All three girls were by the pool now, dipping their feet in the water. I watched Rel's body move, her spots seeming to swish and sway over her white coat.

"Oi," I tapped Anji, a thought running through my mind.

"Yo?" was the wolfs reply. I reached up, and very quickly pulled off my shirt.

"Let's play a game," I said. Anji raised an eyebrow. "We both run to the girls, and whoever gets their lady in the water, all the way, without getting busted wins."

"Cool on," The wolf smiled, and pulled off his own shirt. "Any stakes?" He questioned.

"Just for fun," I said. Anji snickered, then pulled at his belt. I wriggled out of my own shorts, and tossed them on top of my shirt. My black swim shorts fell just to the tops of my knees, and I stood up. Anji stood up with me, wearing a dark blue piece that housed his "third arm" and his butt checks, but little else.

"May the best man win," The wolf told me. I winked at the friend, then looked to where Rel was. She still stood by the pool side, now with one ankle in the water. I eyed her think legs for a second, and then Anji and I set off at low jogs. Man, sometimes I just loved being me.
