Coming to Realize

Story by Care A Lot on SoFurry

The quest to delve within myself my love with Mrs. Brisby continues. I do not own the rights to the use of the lyrics of "Break The Silence", by Depeche Mode, from "Violator", 1991, I believe.

ALL I EVER WANTED

ALL I EVER NEEDED

IS HERE IN MY ARMS

WORDS ARE VERY

UNNECESSARY

THEY CAN ONLY DO HARM

Tonight, I performed the perfect gentleman, Mrs. Brisby,

widow, of four.

I keep your grace in mind,

and remember that we come from the same time period,

late seventies, or so.

Back at a time when high tech gadgets

meant almost little,

and love was represented from books, of all kinds,

whether it be the Bible, or a Care Bears story.

Now

ALL I EVER WANTED

ALL I EVER NEEDED

IS HERE IN MY ARMS

I have a small headache tonight, Mrs. Brisby,

but it's not enough to keep me from you.

I love you, I do. I love you, and I'll say it again. I love you.

Love is not "I want to tear through your pants, and ravage your flesh."

Love is "I have a great passion for your courage, and want to drink from your well."

WORDS ARE VERY

UNNECESSARY

THEY CAN ONLY DO HARM

A ridiculous sin is one where I refuse to submit to my sharpest feelings at all.

An imbecile refuses to accept any boundaries.

I know you are not 'real', Mrs. Brisby.

Alas, this world is a limitation to 'reality'.

Thank God, however, that I have my soul, and my heart, and mind,

because I believe in love,

Mrs. Brisby.

I believe that we can live through each other, in spirit, in idea. The message you spread is no different from the message of Christ, or Buddha, to love, to transcend suffering. These days, the ability to transcend common harrumph, and see a great, glimmering, golden road to loving freedom, is a miraculous joy.

And, that is why I love you, Mrs. Brisby.

Thank you.
