Re: Speech 4. Fear Of Dying

-this is a redo because my first attempt was not that clear, but I just want it up, so you can understand this, then understand the original better, also, I never delete something I post, blame it on my blood-
As human beings, we all have our fears, we live insecure lives, of hate, greed and envy. Because of it, we forsake ourselves and take refuge in things we can understand. And we fear things we can't understand. There is just one fear that has been living for thousands of years, a fear that just cannot be crushed, a fear we could never understand, is the fear of death. There is no possible way of stopping it. One by one, one after another, people perish. We try so hard to convince ourselves that the people we love could never die. That's just the kind of creatures we are. Its only natural because we're only human. Even if you're the bravest man in the world, there is at least one fear, just something, something untouchable, a sense or a feeling that will remind you of what fear is. There is no stopping it. It just cannot be helped.
Death is feared so much, that's why people agonize and struggle to keep on living. Some people will try and put meaning in death, but all there is to see in it is eternal loneliness, pain that never fades, and senseless hatred. They try to hide the bitter truths with the sweetest lies. That's why there is a word called "immortal" and that's why there is "Heaven" and "God". All of those deserve to be despised. They were created from lowly and precarious people out of fear, they have no right to be acknowledged by anyone, because its foolish to fear what we cant see or know. If there is such a thing as God then we must see it. If there is such a thing as immortal, then we should achieve it! But all of that is impossible! We need to accept those bitter truths and throw away those -too good to be true- sweet lies.
I am not trying to say there are people out there that should be despised because they are "religious" The ideas despised, and the people pitied. Why pity them? They spent time yearning for peace and happiness in the after life. They lose sight of whats already in front of them, friends, family, and the joys in life. They waste too much time, not attending to themselves or others, instead they preach to something they cant see or not even aware if it exists. You should not waste time in those things. If you put every second, of every day into the quality of life that you've lived, then you will have a life remembering.
As I said, we fear things we cant see or know, and we fear death. We end up spending our entire lifetime trying to find meaning in death. And rather than finding meaning in death, what we are actually trying to find out is, "What is my purpose in life" Well, we are not fish, and we are not lions, we are not even our true selves. We will know what kind of creatures we are right before our death. So rather than us trying so hard and willingly to try and define death, its that death defines us. We need to accept the concept and put all our faith in it. We have to trust death once it comes to us, there is no running away, we should open our eyes to see the forest and not just a tree, so that one day there will be hope, that no one has to fear death ever again.
