Sig woke up with a splitting headache. He sat up, groaning, and looked around. He was in a white room, everything paneled, like a bathroom, but everywhere. There was a large mirror on one wall. He stood up, and immediately fell back down. His head was spinning from moving too fast, and he leaned back against one of the walls. He closed his eyes, remembered brief flashes of the past hours. He saw himself strapped to a chair much like a dentist's chair, but with leather belts. There were Scientists all around, and a tray of wicked looking instruments and syringes. Next, they were injecting a golden fluid into his arm. He struggled, but the straps were too tight, and they must have given him a muscle relaxant, because he could barely move.

They told him, "This fluid could kill you, change your personality, destroy and warp your body, or any of much worse things. On the other hand, it could improve your life by an immeasurable amount." He snapped back to reality for a moment, and then blacked out.

He woke up later, and looked around again, hoping it was all a dream. No such luck. The same white tiles. Same mirror. He did a quick body check to make sure that everything was ok. He ran his hands over his gray fur, checking for sore spots or open wounds. He was fine, all that was different was a shaved patch on the inside of his left elbow, where a small square of gauze was taped over the puncture wound from the needle. He stood up, slowly, but the nausea had passed. He walked over to the mirror, and to his relief, the liquid had not changed his appearance. He was the same gray fox he had been before this whole mess. He turned around, and for the first time, noticed there was a door. He walked over to it, and as expected, it was locked. He thought about trying to break the mirror, but he expected that it was re-enforced, and he didn't want to cut up his hand either. He decided to sleep some more.

"Rise and shine, Mr. Raynor. Rise and Shine." Sig woke to the sound of a PA announcement. "We hope you have had a nice nap, but now its time to continue with our tests." Sig stood up, and looked toward the mirror, where the sound seemed to come from. The door slid open, and Sig spun around. Three men came in, one scientist, and two burly men who looked like security guards.

One held up a taser "If you try and escape, I won't hesitate to use this." Sig believed him. He walked towards the door, with the scientist and one guard in front, and the other guard in back. He felt a sharp pain in the back of his neck and the last thing he saw was the floor rushing up to meet him.

He next woke up, staring up at the cloudless sky. The back of his neck was still sore from the knockout punch. He sat up and found he was in an almost empty parking lot, and what looked like the gas station near his house. He stood up, and dusted himself off. He proceeded into the gas station, if only to find out where he was. He walked up to the clerk, grabbed a bottle or aspirin from the stand on the counter and put it on the counter along with a five.

"Say buddy, what town is this? I'm afraid I'm from out of town." The clerk popped open the register.

"Welcome to lovely Menethil! If you're looking for a tourist spot, you've come to the wrong place. This town is as exciting as the bottom of your toilet." Sig choked on the aspirin he was swallowing. He was in his home town! His house was three minute from here!

He left the store and broke into a jog. He was eager to get home. He wanted to take a hot shower and just kick back, grab a bag of chips and maybe watch a cheesy movie. It took him about ten min to get home, and when he got there, he was surprised to find an unfamiliar car in the driveway, next his own. He owned a Ford GT, black with red stripes running down the entire thing. If they scratched it, so help them... It was his father's gift to him, right before his dad died. It was his pride and joy, and in his father's memory, he would protect it with every muscle in his body. He proceeded up to the back door with caution, making as little noise as possible, wincing at the creak of the door. He grabbed the phone in case he needed to hit 911 if it was a robber. There wasn't anyone in any of the downstairs rooms, so he proceeded up the stairs. Half way up, he heard a thump from the room with his computer. He peaked around the corner and saw someone bending over, rooting through his CD's. He ducked back, and then looked again. The mysterious intruder had stood up. He was surprised to find they were female, but more surprised to see that they were one of the best looking girls he had ever seen. She was a red fox, with just a bit of white on the tip of her tail. Her blue jeans hugged her beautiful ass like they would never let go. She was wearing a green t-shirt, but with her back to him, he only could imagine what that the front view was even better. He stepped into the door way, and put the phone in his back pocket.

"What are you doing in my house?" She spun around and he was right, the front view was great. She looked panicked, and looked about to bolt. "Relax, I'm not gonna attack you, or call the cops or anything, I just want to know why you're here." She calmed down a bit, but still looked wary.

"Why am I here? I live here! You're the one who has some explaining to do!"

Sig's eyes opened wide in surprise. "No way! That's my car in the driveway, right? My computer, my CD's your rooting through."

She squinted at him. "Not likely. This house is mine, as of two weeks ago. The previous owner disappeared a month ago."

Sig reeled. A month! It seemed like he was gone for a day, not a month! He put his hand over his eyes until the room stopped spinning. "Do you happen to know the name of this previous owner?"

"Yea. According to the label on his computer, his name was..." she glanced at the laptop. "His name was Sig Raynor."
