This is an assignment done by the fictional goat-man star of the upcoming comic "Beaux" for his Junior English class. This is meant to be kind of like a teaser for those who are interested. You can get to know the character before the comic even comes out! YAY!

The Tail Of A Goat-man

I am a 16 year old goat-man named Roger Beaux Eudemon. I was born unto Terry Eudemon and the late Brian Eudemon of Houston, Texas. I was raised here in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for as long as I can remember and I have enjoyed it so far. Despite having many interests and activities that I am fond of, I am especially enthusiastic about listening to music, working on cars, and talking with people.

Actively listening to music as a past time is something of which I have recently become fascinated. The sounds as a finished work of art is hard to appreciate, but I feel that I have gained an ear for music as I begin to leave behind my youth. The bass guitar has to be my favorite instrument as it has many styles and variations as the electric guitar, despite genre, seems to be played the same with different amplified effects. My least favorite instrument is the keyboard which is widely used in today's technical music mainstream, but I am hardly a music critic as I am not experienced in the field.

Though I am not necessarily a major on mechanics, I seem to have a real knack for automobiles. I love the complicated workings of a vehicle that are designed to do something so simple: go forward. I have been working with my uncle in his shop for nearly four years which has made me quite knowledgeable. I learn quickly, which is required in auto repair, and I am stronger than most grown men. I surprised myself when I installed a four cylinder engine in a Toyota without employing the use of a crane-jack. Because of this I do little work on the engines. Though, on Saturdays, I work by myself and actually work under the hood which is much more enjoyable.

Something that I didn't get to do until recently is get to talk to other people. I usually don't talk to the men that work in my uncle's shop as over half of them are convicted felons and the other half are too busy to talk to me. I find that I ask a lot of questions. I like to hear other people talking more than myself as I have listened to my own voice for over 16 years and I am interested in what others have to say. One on one conversation is so interesting no matter what the other person and I are talking about. It's a personal experience that is so strangely intimate yet public in a way that isn't describable. I need to get out more if simply talking to people is such a thrill to me, but I can't help but love everything about it.

In conclusion, I am really a normal person that is wrapped up in an interesting package. Simply put, I am victim of a curious cosmetic difference that cannot be hidden. It constantly comes up in conversation while I wish more to hear the story of other's lives rather than recount my own for the umpteenth time. It is important to make it clear to anyone whom may come to interact with me; I wish not to be the same as everyone else, but I do wish everyone was less critical of being different.
