Cricket was making her way through the crowded markets of Cicada Hive, looking at the various shops and stalls lining the plaza. She had decided to take a shopping spree before heading home for the day, checking out all her favorite book stores and places; stopped at the Sugar Dream... places like that. But now it was time to return home.

Unfortunately, the place was crowded at this hour, and getting anywhere, by talon or by wing, was slow-going, and right now, Cricket was kind of starting to need to sort of go... Pee.

Actually, she'd been needing to kind of go ever since she'd gotten out of school (actually, even before then), but she figured she could hold it. But as Cricket stumbled her way through the milling crowd, she was beginning to really need to go.

Cricket looked around. She was going to have to do it, she was going to have to stop at a store to use their pot.

Jittering her legs as she scanned her way through the crowd, she spotted a store nearby, and made her way to it. She rushed inside without even paying attention to what they were selling, and looked for the restroom. When she got there, she sighed with relief, it was open.

But then, the shop keeper appeared.

"Here for the bathroom young lady," the shop keeper said, "It's for paying customers only."

Cricket looked around. The store was selling fancy wear and scarfs that Cricket didn't really find that appealing. Maybe there was something in this place she would buy, but she really didn't have money to spend right now. Cricket tapped her legs uncomfortably, not sure what to do...

And then another dragon stepped into the bathroom carrying a book, locking the door behind her. Well, she was going to be in there a long time.

Cricket didn't have time to wait for this, so she quickly turned her attention from the shop keeper, and headed for the exit and left, the shop keeper looking disapprovingly after her.

Cricket scanned the marketplace, now she was _really_starting to need to go. She rushed by the stores, but the situation was the same, paying customers only.

Cricket stood outside a storefront whimpering. She had to go somewhere. She checked her money, but she didn't have enough allowance left to buy anything, she'd already spent it all on books. She whimpered again. She really had to go.

Cricket looked around desperately, desperate to find something, somewhere, where she could go.

And then Cricket spotted the park. They'd have to have public restrooms. Right?

Cricket rushed to the park, every step threatening to force what she was holding out of her. Her eyes were starting to tear up, this was too much.

And then she reached the restrooms. As she made her way to the stalls, she froze in her tracks, they were all - every single one of them - full.

Cricket wanted to cry. She couldn't do this. She had to GO!

She stood there awhile, waiting, hoping that somebody would step out soon. Nobody did. Cricket wailed inside. Should she try the men's room? By now, she didn't think there was much choice.

She rushed out of the woman's room, and into the men's room, but it was the same problem, all the stalls were full.

But then again, not all the toilets in here were stalls, she looked at the "other" types of toilets lining the walls. Should she try it? She knew it was a disaster waiting to happen, but just standing here was a disaster waiting to happen if she didn't go!

Fortunately, she didn't have to decide, as another dragon came in just in time to take the last "other" toilet. He looked at her with a scowl before taking his post and raised his leg as dragons sometimes do (Guy dragon toilets could be so weird at times).

Suddenly, there was a flush from the other side of the wall. The woman's room!

Cricket rushed out of the men's room and toward the woman's room. A dragon was heading out. Yes! Cricket almost cried from relief; a stall was open.

But just as she entered the room, she saw the door swing shut and lock behind another dragon. It was too late.

Cricket wanted to howl her agony into the sky. What now? What now? What now?

She stumbled back into the park, hardly able to stand anymore with how much she needed to go. She looked at the bathroom, she'd just have to wait for somebody else to come out.

Finding a place in the grass, Cricket pressed her body to the ground hoping that the pressure of the ground would help her hold it in. She whimpered. Though it helped on the most minute of levels, it didn't change the fact that she still had to go really bad!

Cricket waited and waited, whimpering pitifully to herself. Nobody came out of either room for a really long time.

And then there was a flush.

Cricket shakily pulled herself to her talons, she made for the bathroom.

And then the janitor approached, cart full of cleaning supplies.

"Sorry, no one else in, we're closing for the night."

"But I need to-" Cricket squeaked.

But the janitor was already heading in. "Okay, everybody out! It's cleaning time!"

Cricket hoped she could still slip in, but the janitor turned to look at her and gave her the look that said "be gone!" Cricket looked over and saw the same was happening with the men's room. It was hopeless.

Cricket made her way back to the market whimpering to herself, holding herself in the most embarrassing of ways, lamenting at all the things she could have done differently in order to have went earlier.

She looked at the shops. She didn't care anymore, she would find one to go at, and deal with the "paying customer" part afterward.

But as she made her way to the first shop, she stopped cold.

"Closed"

Her heart went still inside her as she turned to look at the next shop...

"Closed"

And the shop after that, their sign just turning over to-

"Closed"

The whole market had just closed down for the night, and there were no bathrooms in sight.

Cricket felt herself shaking, she was starting to break down. Her breaths started to come in gasps, she was going to cry, but the heaving of her sides just made her suffering worse. She felt like she was going to die, her body would just explode and die. She had to go worse than any dragon had ever had to go in the entirety of dragon history (Well except for that one time with Queen Coral maybe, but that is a different story), and there was nothing she could do about it.

But then Cricket looked around. She knew somebody who lived nearby. It would be embarrassing, but if she could just make it, she could make it.

So on three sets of talons (the forth desperately holding herself, trying to keep it in), Cricket limped down the street to her destination.

Blue opened the door to find Cricket standing there. She was sweaty, and her face was scrunched up like she was in an enormous amount of discomfort. And he wasn't sure he wanted to know why she was holding herself like that and doing some sort of... dance?

"Cricket? Are you okay?" Blue asked, concern filling his heart. She did not look okay.

Cricket looked at Blue, her eyes desperate. "Blue, can I use your restroom."

Oh...

Blue felt so weird, his crush stopping over at his new place just to use the pot, but of course she could. She looked like she really needed to go.

"Of course," Blue said, "Come right in."

Cricket looked at him gratefully, but didn't say anything. It hurt too much to do anything anymore.

Cricket struggled as she limped inside. She whimpered. She spotted Blue's bathroom door, just a few feet away, across the room. How embarrassing, stopping at your crush's because you need to go. But she had to GO, she couldn't hold it anymore.

She lifted her talons, moved them forward. _Whimper._Place them down. She winced, the impact sending whole new waves of needing-to-go through her.

She took another step, then another, her whole body feeling like it was about to let go...

Just a few more steps. The bathroom was nearing. Just a few feet more. She was right at the bathroom door...

Cricket put her talon down, just one more step and she'd be in the threshold of the doorway. She whimpered as she looked forward, dreading another step. She winced as she prepared to lift her next talon...

And everything she'd been holding in came pouring out of her. She couldn't stop it, she couldn't hold it a moment longer, it just happened. It came, and it came. Cricket legs folded into a squat as she just let it all come out of her, she felt its warmth as it all spilled at her talons, all over Blue's floor. Cricket whimpered as it continued unending, a massive puddle pooling on Blue's floor, something she couldn't stop, something she just had to let go.

All over Blue's floor. All over Blue's floor. I'm going all over poor Blue's floor.

Blue tried not to look, sure that's what Cricket would want, but he could sure still hear, and that made him feel weird.

And finally after forever, it was over, Cricket's body empty of the liquid that had been building up inside her. It was actually such a relieving feeling she couldn't even explain.

Cricket tried to stifle a sob. Blue looked at her, not sure how to respond to what he'd just witnessed, wondering if he should still be trying to advert his eyes. "Uh..." He began, "We can clean it up."

"I'm sorry Blue," Cricket said weakly. She felt herself going red. She'd just done that, all over Blue's floor. The cutest guy she knew too.

Blue looked around awkwardly, "Uh, it's okay, it happens."

They went silent. Cricket stood there awkwardly, not sure what to do. It took Blue a moment to realize the problem.

"Oh yeah, girls have to use toilet paper after they..." Blue went red as he realized the fact. He rushed to the bathroom to grab a role, then hurried back to Cricket. Looking away, he handed Cricket the role. Unfortunately, he didn't see where he was handing it, causing Cricket to bump it out of his talons. She fumbled for it, but it fell to the floor, landing right in the puddle.

Cricket and Blue looked at it a moment in complete silence.

Finally, "I think I can still use it," Cricket said picking it up cautiously, trying only to touch the dry side, "I just have to get rid of - ew, ew! - the first few layers." Cricket grimaced as she unraveled it, trying to ignore the smell. Why did she smell so weird?

Finally, when she got to the dry inner-part of the role, she got herself a bit, then looked at Blue awkwardly.

"Sorry," Blue said, then turned away again.

Cricket shoved a talonful of toilet paper down to where it needed to go and used it as it needed to be used. Blue could only imagine. He tried not to. His habit to always imagine himself in another dragon's talons didn't help though. He couldn't help but wonder what exactly was Cricket was experiencing with her toilet paper and all.

Cricket didn't want to know what Blue was thinking at the moment. It was probably cute like all things Blue, but she was already embarrassed enough as it was, she didn't need to have Blue's cute thoughts to make it worse.

Finally, she was done. She turned to Blue, "You can turn back now."

Blue slowly turned to face her, then looked down at the mess.

"We need to clean this up," Cricket said, "I mean I do. You don't have to..."

Blue looked at Cricket seriously, lifting Cricket's talons in his own. "I'm here to help."

And so the went to work, getting together the cleaning bucket and the cleaners. Blue got some rags and started sopping up the mess. He winced as he felt the wetness touching his talons. This stuff was just inside Cricket? Is that what she was supposed to smell like inside? It smelled so different from him for some reason. This was so weird. Why did girls have to pee? (Not that he'd never done so himself, but this was different. Cricket was too pretty to do something as weird as... never mind.) He looked over at Cricket sopping up more of the liquid across from him, and they exchanged a glance. She blushed, before returning to her work.

So they continued sopping and soaking up the mess. Wow, that was a lot. Had poor Cricket really had to hold this all in?

Then they started scrubbing, a cleaning solution to get it all soapy and stuff. As they ran their rags across the floor, their talons accidentally bumped eachother. They looked up at eachother. Cricket gave a shy smile and Blue returned it. Maybe this wasn't so bad, she thought. With Blue helping her, this might even be... fun?

They continued to scrub down the floor until it was clean. Together they managed to clean up Cricket's mess like it was never there in the first place, like it had never happened at all.

"Thank you Blue," Cricket said, "Sorry again about to mess," she said awkwardly.

Blue shrugged, "It's okay, anything for my Cricket." She looked at him and smiled gratefully, and then he returned it with his own gentle smile that made her heart flutter. She held out her talons, and he met them with his own, and they just stood there holding talons awhile, looking in the other's eyes.

Cricket was still embarrassed about having gone all over her boyfriend's floor, but whenever Blue and her were together, it felt like it'd be all okay. Cricket had made a mess, but Blue had been there for her, and together they had made it right again. It was never fun to wet one's self, but there was no one she'd rather have wet herself around than sweet old Blue who was nothing but supportive of her. And Cricket knew that anytime, as long as Blue was at her side, life, happiness, even embarrassment, it all would be worth it.
