*Monday: 9:58am: summer: 2010*

*Ugh* sighed Lyra as she lazily flopped out of bed. Standing hunched in the middle of her room she stared out of the window and adjusted her green shorts that came down halfway to her knees. Listening to birds chirp outside she blew at her hair to get it out of her face.

"What the hell are you so happy about? It's going to rain today you know"

She didn't expecting an answer yet she scoffed the overly happy animals regardless.

"Damn I'm hungry. I wonder if Jen made anything. Aww, who am I kidding. The day that girl makes something real to eat is the day I eat my shoe. And I like my shoe"

Talking to herself was something she did every morning and most of the time it had something to do with food or how much she hates rain. Walking past the mirror in an attempt to exit her room she realized that she didn't have a shirt on. All she was warring was a black bra. Confused as to why she wore a bra to bed she slipped on a paint stained shirt and brushed her hair. It was medium length and black with a thick strand that hung down the right side of her face. She had died it red a couple years ago. This strand was almost twice the length of the rest of her hair and she always straightened it. The rest of her hair was black and she wore in a messy fashion so clumps of hair swooped from side to side and some stuck out and up. It looked good on her and she loved it more than any other style that she experimented with.

"God I'm hot!"

She exclaimed with well deserved self love

"God I'm hungry"

As she left her room she shuffled her feet across the hallway and towards the staircase that curved down into the living room. There she met Jen, her long blond hair was perfectly straight as usual. She wore a plain blue t-shirt and gray sweatpants that had a black stripe down the side. Jen was reading a book on the couch as Lyra came down.

"Good morning sis"

"Is it. Is it really? " Lyra questioned

"Possibly... it is for me" Jen answered with the same cheer that the birds sang with

"Humph... whatch'ya reading?"

"A book" Jen explained with thick sarcasm

"Well I can see that. What is it called?"

"It's called go make breakfast"

Jen replayed as she shut her book and set it on the table face down. Sarcasm ran deep within their family and within their relationship.

"Fine, what do you want?"

"Ooo... Ile start out with crab legs and"

"Haha funny. No really what do you want? Like pp&j, I can do that" she interrupted as she flopped down on the overstuffed chair at the end of the couch.

"Ya sure, that sounds good. Why did you sit down?"

"... I don't know"

Lyra started to the kitchen and remembered what time it was when she got up.

"Why haven't you eaten yet?"

"I don't know. I guess I just got cot up in my book"

"Ooo... so are we going to do anything today?"

"Probably not, its suposta rain today" Jen replied as she followed her sister into the kitchen.

"Ya I know, but the mall has a roof... Ugh, never mind, we still have to walk from the car to the mall... And then back"

"What is your problem with rain? You're like a cat" Jen questioned with confusion as she leaned on the kitchen counter.

"I don't want to mess up my sexy hair" She said jokingly before she commenced spreading jelly on some bread.

"...whatever" Jen said out of a lack of something better to say. That morning went smoothly. Jen fell back into her book and Lyra lazed in front of the TV

*Same day: 2:35pm*

"E 5" Jen stated with a slight question

"WHAT!?... YOU CHEAT!"

"I DO NOT!" Jen defended herself and gave a wink

"Aww you jerk" Lyra jumped up off of the couch pointing a finger at her sister smiling as she spoke. "I am going to get you when you least expect it"

Just then they heard a sweet voice interrupt their intense game,

"Fight nice kids" A fox with long blond hair similar to Jen's had walked into the house wile accusations flew across the couch.

"Hi Sasha!" Lyra exclaimed with excitement

"Gaa, why do you do that? Why don't you just call me mom?"

"I don't know" she replied with her hands behind her back staring at the ceiling as she rocked back and forth on her heals

"... You do that just to bug me don't you?"

"...Maaaaby..."

"Watch it girl I will Gibbs slap you" She threatened laughing as she put her things down on the table. She sat on the couch across from the one that was occupied with a vary one sided Navel war

"Haha funny, when did you change your name to Jethro?"

"WHAT?!... The heck is a Gibbs slap and why is mom changing her name to Jethro" Jen, looking very confused, had to do something to get herself up to speed. At that question both of the older foxes made a question of their own, speaking both at the same time they blurted.

"You don't watch NCIS do you?"

"No... No I don't" Jen replied with pride as she held up her book.

"Hmm... I don't think that's aloud in my house" Lyre informed her deprived daughter with a smile.

"Ya Jen did you hear that? Not watching NCIS isn't allowed in this house"

"Whatever... I will choose my form of entertainment and you can chooses your own"

"Fine... what's for dinner?" Lyra inquired as she seamlessly changed subjects.

"Dinner?... it not even three yet" Sasha quickly replied with a slight laugh in her voice as she lifted her arm and twisted her wrist so her priority driven daughter could see her watch."

"...Gaa" Lyra exhaled in disbelief as she headed off towards the bathroom.

*Same day: 10:421/2pm*

"Well, I'm going to bed. Don't you girls forget that I am going on business trip next week. I don't know how long I will be gone so try not to trash the house while I am away"

"Ok, night mom" both girls answered simultaneously as they stood up to do the same as their mother.
