What are Candus?

Candus (short for Candusians) are a canine-like races that aren't really considered to be canine. They are considered the elven-like species of Chemerians (or the anthropomorphics.) This document will contain information about the Candus and origins.
Origins
Like all living beings such as Humans, Elves, Halves, and Chemerians; Candusians do in fact worship a higher being known as a Demigod. There has only been one very well known Demigod for the Candus; Estrella, the demigod of the stars and time.
Like all Demigods, Estrella had an extraordinary power of clairvoyance, not only being able to see far, but being able to see into the future and back into one's memory. She was a very unusual candus, Her hair had brown, black, and white in it, her tail was the same but with the patterns being different colors in the shape of crosses. Her nose marking was a combination of a cross and an X. The cross being filled with brown and the X just being a black outline. And in the center of this marking was a white dot. Her fur was white but her blood was rather unique. She was considered a Mutt Candus where she grew up. People thought she was blind due to her pupil-less eyes that were a very light blue, but she wasn't blind.
Estrella's birth occurred when the 2 breeds came back to the Canine's territory on the mainland. Her appearance occurred right when the 3rd breed appeared, the Mutt Candus. It was rather unknown who her parents were or if she was even a Mutt candus at all. Her powers soon showed during her years as a child, her unusual predicting of certain candusian's deaths that were in the near future.
Over the years, her powers matured and her grasp of events a farther time periods grew as well. But because of this, she then had a unusual vision. A path that other people she never even see (heck, she couldn't even recognize their species!) meeting in a very white room, a discussion of a war that was nearing an end, along with the extinction of all the races. The last words of this vision being "We the demigods, maybe what is last of what the old world is. There is no new world up ahead. Life will soon seized to exist once we pass away..."
Because of this vision, her message was soon delivered to not only the candus and canines, but soon spread to neighboring racings around the canine's territory. She soon took fate into her own hands, devising a plan to preserve her species from genocide. She asked for those of the Tropic kind to hide in the Rocky Mountains and the islands to the east, the arctic to hide in the deep north and south, where it snows. However she also instructed them to spread out more and spread their culture to the neighboring Chemirians to sustain their own species. The Mutt candus stood in the Canine's territory.
Estrella however went her own path and disappeared after such a movement and during the first Great Race War. Her return was followed by the War's ending, her body did not age, and she was more enlightened than she was previously.
Her studies of the stars and planetary alignments she teaches others how the stars can be used to foresee time (along line with the invention of the first calendar in Arcadia) before the war was foreseen (and it's grim future prevented) was soon taught as a religion. Not only that, but cultures mixed and mashed (human culture helping progress in the evolution of technology and for the benefits of all races.)
Currently, Estrella is still nomadic, much like the candus were when she was first born, and visits numerous shrines dedicated to her across Arcadia (rarely the other two shrines to her in the human territories that were across the sea.) To date, there are 3 Major shrines that still stand, each one representing each breed of Candus as well as Estrella's part in the prevention of the horrible fate that would have been.
