V23: The Next Tester
Nearly a month had past since I had asked Renamon out. Things had not been going well. We hadn't been fighting, but that was mostly due to the fact that we weren't talking. Now we had to face the next tester. And pendulum of fate was put into motion.
Nathan: yawn Man, I wish I was getting kicked in the face right now.
Regardless of the contestant face pains, I missed even that about her. I went through my morning routine and waited for Renamon to turn up. At about 8:45, she did, we didn't talk, didn't even make eye-contact.
Nathan: Who is it this time?
Renamon: Justimon.
Nathan: Thanks.
I didn't say anything else. I just sat and waited. I wish I could comfort her, but watching her, noticed, when I moved she would flinch.
Nathan: I wish she wasn't so scared of me. I asked her out, it's not like I'm going to force myself on her.
More time passed . . .
After what felt like an eternity a blue portal opened in front of us.
Nathan: Toke them long enough.
Justimon: Sorry dudes! It toke forever to get that blue card! The Man keeps them all locked up!
Nathan: Is it just me, or did that hippie say, blue card?
Justimon: Ya bra! You didn't know that for the fourth and fifth testers you two, like, biomerge?
I watched Renamon shift from foot to foot. Realizing that biomerging was the last thing she wanted to do with me. Hurt he walked over to Justimon and say,
Nathan: Just give me the fucking card!
Justimon: Fine dude! Your hashing my vibes!
He held out a card and I swiped it from him.
Nathan: Dig-modify. "Biomerge."
It felt like I was being electrocuted. My limbs pulsated and shook, then I lost all feeling. My legs started dissolving and I looked over and Renamon's legs dissolving to.
The pieces of data we were becoming started collecting. Slowly my legs went out from under me. Then it started to work through my chest. The figure we were making was taking shape.
It's legs were incased in purple armor on the left and gold armor on the right. It was wearing a battle skirt made of leaf-shaped slates of armor, some purple some gold. In the very front of this skirt it was embossed with a yin-yang symbol. Purple metal flowing from the yang half and gold armor from the yin half.
I gave a jolt. I couldn't breath. I looked down and say that my lungs and lower rib-cage had dissolved. It was a weird feeling to not need to breath. Then it reached my heart. It felt like it was being ripped in half. I looked over and Renamon was having the same experience. Then it passed my heart and I felt nothing.
I looked back at the figure. It was now obviously male. It had a very muscular frame and wore more armor. This time with gold bracers on the left and purple on the right. He wore a grand breast plate of the same twisted purple-gold metal from his skirt. Meeting at another yin-yang symbol in the center of his chest.
Now I was only a head. Slowly fading. I looked over and noticed for the first time he had swords strapped to his waist. Two longish daggers, then I blacked out.
I woke up and felt incredibly strong. I opened my eyes and looked down. I was now in the body of that digimon. I felt a strange compulsion then. I needed to shout a word.
Nathan: KYUBLADEMON!
Justimon looked up at me. I realized how tall I was, towering over him a good 9 inches.
Justimon: Good to here it dude! I see that's your name!
I flexed my hand. Then I felt something in the back of my head. Then I realized it was Renamon! We were no literally one and I started to feel a strange sensation. Then I realized, I thoughts were slowly flowing together!
Kyublademon: So now do we fight?
Justimon: Not yet, cause this is your first time biomerging you get 10 minutes to get used to it before we fight.
I nodded. Then I started running. The house was 500 feet away, in about a second I was there. Invigorated I jumped. I went about 15 feet! Then I head someone in my head.
Renamon: Stop wasting energy! Work on small things like move every part of your body!
Nathan: Renamon? Is that you?
Renamon: Yes! Now that we are one we can talk inside your head! Now we've wasted enough time! GET STRECHING!
Taking her advice I stretched. It surprised me how stiff I was. After 5 minutes I could move around almost as good as normal. After another minute Justimon said my time was up.
Kyublademon: Then let's go!
I rushed at him looking like I was going to sucker punch him. I feinted and kicked upward. With my newly long legs I overshoot it and instead of kicking him in the armpit and into the air . . . I kicked him right in the keys.
Justimon: in a broken voice Come on man! That was dirty!
Kyublademon: Sorry getting used to the body!
Justimon: LIKE CRITICAL ARM!
His right arm flipped outwards, reveling a narrow slit. His arm hummed and a giant blue blade came out of it.
Justimon: FOR MY LITTLE BUDDIES!
He jabbed at me but I took a step back. With my long legs I was already out of his rang. We started a little dance, he'd jab I'd sidestep.
Kyublademon: Is that really all you got?
Justimon pant Stop pant moving pant dude pant!
He drooped his arm for a second and I moved in. With a quick jab he was sent sprawling through the air.
Kyublademon: I'm not even ganna need my blades!
He was laying on the ground and he looked utterly beat.
Justimon: Just pant finish this pant battle bra!
Kyublademon: GLADLY!
I reached for the yin-yang sign in my chest. Without knowing what I was doing I pulled the d-ark from within myself. I scanned a card.
Kyublademon: DIGI-MODIFY! "Explosion Activate!"
I took a huge jump 30 feet up in the air. Spun once, pulled out my right leg, and brought it down on Justimon's stomach. My leg exploded upon impact and Justimon was no more.
Kyublademon: BARRAGE OF LIONS!
Renamon: What was that?
Nathan: AWESOME!
