#2 of Biographies

This is the biography for Helastar. While most of the major events are included, there are a few that are hidden. This post contains a lot of spoilers to other stories, but the hidden parts are all major spoilers that might ruin the overall timeline. These will be revealed when I release a story that covers these events.

(The names of characters are introduced in the official Paranelli record-keeping format; Family name first, given names second. For the most part, characters names will go back to the more common format of names (Given names first, family name second) unless the character prefers to use the official format. Any married couples will use their original family name (A.K.A. Maiden name) in official records, though they will typically use their new family name during normal use. Note that not all characters have their secondary names shown, even if the have them.)

"When love is gone and all is lost, how do you find the strength to continue? Right now your life is all pain, but you must push through. Push through, until you once again see the light." Helastar, Session 85C-2, B9L112-5K9-6493

Feliday Helastar Levanak is an Arianok Dragon. As she is a Caretaker, she has a very sweet personality. She is unusually perceptive of others emotions, even for a caretaker. She is mildly over-protective, often stirring up trouble when she believes that someone is being taken advantage of. While she has learned to restrain herself, she still gets carried away at times. She is also a bit shy, though most people don't notice this. She loves being around others, but hates having to interact with them.

Helastar's parrents are Feliday Martron Jared and Sarris Heranos Velvik. She was laid on Arranos (the former home of the Arianok Dragons), but had to be transferred to TuSh7 (Turner Shuttle 7) after the war started. She hatched on the escape pod, moments after TuSh7 was destroyed. Konrad assisted in the hatching, but had to leave before he heard her name (and forgot to ask Heranos about it before she was killed). Afterwards, they were moved to Vetraheil, where Teranis Jenovell housed them until the bounty on Heranos was discovered. After Helastar was discovered to be a caretaker, she was "adopted" into the Teranis family while her mother was put into Secure Location Shuffle (SLS). Her mother visited her every year until she was killed in what is presumed to be an accident, though the exact cause is still undetermined.

After being raised by the Teranis family, Helastar went on to become a Semi Dragon Counselor (SDC). Not only does she enjoy this job, it also trained her on how to be more accepting of other people (as well as other skills that Caretakers typically lack). After a few years in her apprenticeship period, she was put on the BSPS. The first thing she did in her human form was go to a bar [16]. This is where she and Konrad *Officially* met. After having way to many drinks, Konrad hauled her home. As the train system in that area was closed for emergency maintenance, he slept at her house for the night. The next morning, Konrad took her to a medical facility to make sure there were no lingering complications, and then left for Organization business. After a couple of weeks, Helastar introduced him to Teranis Ketronel in a less than discrete way. After he and Ketronel recovered from their initial embarrassment, the two of them started seeing each other after a while.

(The details between these two events contain massive spoilers.)

After Ketronel's death, Helastar had the tedious work of counselling Konrad. This took an exceptionally long amount of time, most of which was spent just trying to get him to open up to her. It took 25 years before the council was satisfied that he was emotionally stable.

Helastar and Konrad dated for a few months, but things never got too serious. While they had the occasional romantic encounter, it became clear that Konrad had a severe amount of PTSD in relation to Ketronel. However, they still remained good friends.

Helastar ran her primary office on Vetraheil for a while before she transferred it to Ketronel Base. While this is where she primarily operates, she's more than happy to travel elsewhere for a time (often because Konrad asked her to help with a situation).

After Konrad retires to Ketronel Base as Civilian Co-Commander, the two of them start to rekindle their relationship. While it doesn't go that far at first, an external influence (Spoilers!) gives them the nudge they need to advance their relationship to a serious level. After finally overcoming his PTSD, Helastar and Konrad decide to get married (though they don't call it a marriage, more a family unification). They end up having two children, both Arianok Dragons (neither of them are Caretakers). There is a learning curve for Helstar trying to raise their children, as she has a bit of difficulty with the fact that they aren't Caretakers. Sometimes she goes overboard; failing to realize that normal Arianok dragons can't understand Quantum Relativity at only 7 weeks old. Thankfully, Konrad was there to stop her if she went too far.

Their two children grow up to be what Konad would consider "suitable heirs" (though Helastar nearly devoured him at this remark).

Helastar died on I7HHG4-L92/A10-1781/674 (The split year is due to a temporal anomaly where one part of the planet temporarily dilated and sped up to an abnormal rate, causing it to become much older than the rest of the planet). She died 20 years after Konrad (though considering how long they lived, 20 years is almost nothing). Her children would remember her as a passionate mother who would stop at nothing to help not only her children, but anyone else who needed her help.

(This final part contains massive spoilers. In short, it deals with the events after her death.)
