(I wrote this a while ago as practice for writing stories out of sync. You know...like Tarintino does movies. All out of order...like Memento or Pulp Fiction. Thing is, I never got around to writing part one XD ...so...uh...enjoy this is you can! )

M.A.G.I.C: Round Two

A few trickles of cheers and a splattering of applause dotted the air after Sparkle stepped into the area, her fingers clutching tightly around her cane while her toes twisted and curled against the soft sand beneath her. Her heart was beating incredible fast, almost as if it threatened to pound it's way free of her chest out of nervousness. She'd been on stage in front of an audience of hundreds. She'd preformed acts of obscene nature to draw a crowd back home at her bar, but now, things were different. She wasn't acting in front of a crowd, nor was she at home, or in a place she recognized- she was in foreign territory, and she was required to use skills she'd hidden away for years and years. She gave a deep sigh, looking at her watch on her wrist slowly. She was supposed to be having lunch with Jill and Jinx soon. A spotlight lit up around her.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Furs, and species of all types, welcome back to round TWO of Magic, the Mystic Ability Gauge Interaction Contest, bought to you by Phoenix Wands! If it breaks, we'll replace it, cause no one raises to the challenge like Phoenix! Well now, this is appearing to be an interesting match! After her astonishing victory in the first round, our up and coming champion is raising up to meet her next challenger- Larry Otter! That's right folks, count 'em, not one, but TWO magical prodigies are going to go at it, one on one! Larry Otter, from the mystic academy Pigsblister, is facing off against Sparkle Shadowpaw! Stay tuned folks, the match is just beginning!" The announcer screamed over the loud speaker. Sparkle narrowed her eyes, glaring at the red semi circle behind which her opponent would appear- and when he did, she almost laughed.

He was an otter....and he looked no more than fifteen years old.

Larry glared at her for a few moments, and then reached up and adjusted his glasses, giving a snobbish chuckle.

"While I appreciate your charming efforts to label yourself the victor of the tournament, I shall be taking home the prize." The boy explained in a snobbish sort of quip. Sparkle raised an eyebrow, but had no retort to sling in return. No, she was concentrating on how she was about to trounce the poor boy and move onto third place. Multiple times, she caught herself going over spells and chants in her head, spells she found herself refusing to use due to the boy's age...He was only a little kid...fourteen...maybe thirteen if she had to gauge. She supposed in the dimension she was in, age differences when it came to magic meant very little. No, it was clearly some sort of trick. He wanted her to feel sympathy or something for him, wanted her to go half-assed. When she wasn't going to have it! She already had in mind the first spell she was going to cast, and now all she was doing was waiting for the bright red semi circle to turn green, signaling go...Larry, to his credit, seemed rather calm and secure. He was wearing what looked like a private boy's school uniform, all black with golden brass buttons that lined the front in a prefect row, from his neck down to the front of his pants. Around his neck, was a bright yellow and brown colored scarf that warped around once, and hung down from back to front and over both paws he wore a pair of black, shiny gloves. Over his face, his cute little otter boy face, he wore a pair of thick, black glasses, and had, what resembled, a scar on his left cheek- one that resembled a circle of sorts.

The glowing semi circles turned green.

Sparkle stood still, lips peeled, ready to cast in response to her opponents first move. She wanted to gauge him, wanted to test him, see where they stood in ranks of magic. Larry reached into a pocket, and pulled free what looked like a large, brown wand and held it aloft.

"EXPECTO PATR-SHIT!" The boy squeaked, as his wand tumbled from his grasp and clattered against the sand below his paws. He'd dropped his weapon. Sparkle frowned, but didn't move an inch. He had to be toying with her...was he really in the pro league tournament, making a novice move like that? She bit her lower lip nervously...maybe there'd been some mistake, and she was about to cast a high level fire spell on a low level magician. Maybe the judges would say something...

Larry bent down to pick up his wand, nervously glancing at Sparkle the entire time- and the moment his fingers touched the wooden handle, a burst of ice sprang from the tip of it, rushing widely across the ground, and freezing Sparkle's footpaws where she stood. It'd been a trap. The little bastard had tricked her!! Did ANYONE in this competition fight fair?! She snarled quietly, considering a dispel ability, but she lacked the time. When she glanced up, Larry was casting something, and by the way he waved his wand like a composer leading an orchestra, it was something big. She glanced down at her feet and shivered at the ice holding her prisoner and in place. The perfect set up. A dispel ability would take too long to cast and a fire spell would just burn her. No! Wait! She could simply-

"Furious Fireball!" Larry shrieked and an incredible blast of flame sputtered from the tip of his wand, hurling itself at Spark's body. Oh, God, it was a supreme spell. It couldn't be absorbed or reflected. Very little time to react to the fire that was speeding itself, Sparkle's body did the work for her. Sometimes, it felt as if she moved on instinct instead of thought. But she supposed that's why people thought of her as a prodigy. She bent down, slapping her fingers against the ice, hoping that they would be close enough to effect the earth underneath it.

She figured most opponents against this sort of attack would have tried to dispel the ice trap, or perhaps reflect the flame shooting at them. Sparkle knew better, fire like that wasn't something you could reflect. No, she had to get out of the way. Sneaky little river rat in front of her had things all planned out!

"QUAKE!" Spark shrieked, her eyes wide as the fireball reached her body....and suddenly, the searing heat from the flame that had only been a scant few seconds away was gone, and she was rocketing up towards the sky. Most quake spells effect the earth under one's feet. It broke and cracked the earth and created a devastating earth quake that, if cast correctly, would rock an opponent off their footing. Sparkle's quake spell was different, however. She had manipulated it, so instead of the earth rumbling and breaking apart, it forced the earth itself to raise up in pillars like the pistons in a car. Instead of knocking someone down, this effect served to send someone up, high into the air with a firm smack of earth from below. For Sparkle, this effect shattered the ice around her ankles, AND saved her from being a flash fried wolf. Continuing her ascent into the air, Sparkle peered down at the tiny otter below, who was staring in disbelief at what she'd just managed to do. No one escaped his supreme spells! Nobody!

"Feather Fall!" Sparkle hissed at the apex of her steep climb into the sky. Now, instead of plummeting back down to earth and splattering into bone fragments, she began a light, fluffy sort of slow descent, like a feather. She had to take a moment to think, had to figure something out. The little bastard couldn't have been more then fifteen, and he was casting supreme spells. Things were a lot more tricky then she originally thought- but then again, she knew better- as a magician, things were never as they seemed.

"Lashing lightening!" The boy shrieked, and a burst of lightening shot from his wand, extending like an electric whip that buzzed and hissed, cackling lightning from all sides and angles. Sparkle frowned. Things were just getting better and better. He was waiting for her to come down, hit the arena floor where he could slash at her with that thing. She closed her eyes a moment and sighed. So much for a quick fight and then lunch. She vanished in a purple cloud of smoke- a teleport, and reappeared a few feet away from the youth holding the whip. He glanced at her over his shoulder, giving her a vicious sort of grin that etched his muzzle with a descriptive passion. He was going to hurt her. Badly. He lifted the whip, and brought it down with an angry crackle of electricity.

Sparkle dodged to the left, vanishing in a purple burst of grape flavored smoke as the bolt of lightning flashed by, exploding into the ground where she was standing only scant seconds before. She was under estimating him. He was fast- extraordinarily fast, and he wielded that wand like a pro. Still, she wasn't about to be beaten by a kid. And she knew for a fact that she had more skill then the otter boy attempting to do her in. She reappeared away from him, her cane raised in front of her defensively; but as she reappeared, he disappeared in a bluish explosion of smoke. But that was fine. Vanishing tricks weren't something that would catch Sparkle off guard. She may have been a magical prodigy, but first and foremost she was an expert in illusion magic. She narrowed her eyes, large gray ears perked as she listened for the tell-tell explosion that would mark his reappearance. Her senses open to the world, quite ready for him to appear behind her- a trick she used often. Instead, much to her ultimate surprise, the boy appeared right in front of her, the hot blue smoke that accompanied his apparition blinding her momentarily. The lightning whip was down and it was then, with absolute perfect timing and excellent precision that he struck. In those few quick moments when her eyes were closed, and she couldn't see him, and they were both hidden by the smoke from his latest teleport, his paw shot out light a snake. It shot out, latched firmly to her bright red shirt, and tore it from her chest with a single, firm TUG. The result was an instant, embarrassing breeze that froze Sparkle in her tracks. He did NOT just...

Sparkle's breasts spilled into the open; soft, bouncing and plentiful. A perfect C cup, that was capped by two exposed soft pink nipples that jutted out towards the crowd. She stood there stunned, her stormy gray orbs flashing every single fur in the audience, and before she could move to cover them, she was struck again- this time with an almost over whelming pain that nearly put her to her knees. It was a clever trick. She had to give it that much. She did.

First, he ripped a piece of clothing off. Probably some spell that was enchanting the gloves he wore. Then, he teleported around a bit, wearing down the opponents energy. Then, he teleported in close, and quickly blinded them with the smoke, and tore away the clothing at a private place, something that would leave the opponent stunned and embarrassed. Then he zipped away, and blasted them with the most powerful spell he had- something that when perfectly timed, made it look like it was the spell that caused the wardrobe malfunction, instead of grabby little paws. Little bastard probably gotten a kick out of it too. The spell he'd cast was a high level lightening spell, directed towards the 'targets' on her chest. It should have sent her flying, and bouncing into one of the retaining walls, an instant K.O. Anyone else, no doubt, would have been bested by such an assault. Sparkle didn't move an inch. Oh, she flinched; doubling over in pain- but the attack didn't send her anywhere. The otter stared in shock, eyes wide behind his glasses as he watched his opponent glare at him. She should have been out cold from such a blow! There was no wizard or witch that was self taught that could resist an attack like that!!

Larry felt a whimper bubbling in his throat as the witch a few feet away from him beckoned him close with a single crooked finger. He'd put everything he had into that one assault, and she didn't even go down onto one knee. He walked over dumbly, his legs feeling numb- if it were from the lack of energy he had now, or from his growing fear, he wasn't sure, but he knew damn well that things were about to take a turn for the worst. When he got in front of her, she moved in a flash, reaching out to grab his scarf roughly, and tug him even closer towards her!

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" She snapped, eyes blazing with fury. The otter boy squealed and tried to pull away, but the wolf was furious. She wasn't kidding around. And rather suddenly, the two of them were on the ground, the otter pulled across her lap, wiggling wildly in surprise and terror. Oh, good lord she was going to kill him!! She held him tightly, growling under her breath as he tried desperately to free himself. No dice; he couldn't move an inch. He wiggled his hips wildly, and froze the moment he felt her paws- undoing the button that latched his pants around his tail. It happened so fast he didn't even realize she'd gotten his pants down under his felt her fingers jut underneath the waistband of his underwear, yanking them down as well....he was bare bottomed in front of a crowd of hundreds...

The first swat brought him out of his thoughts, her fingers crashing into his left hip with a loud, resounding burst of fur against fur.

"HOW DARE YOU DISROBE ME!!! YOU LITTLE CREEP!!!" The wolf shrieked, each word punctuated with a furious blow to the otter's behind. His hips wildly wriggled left and right, but she held onto him by that scarf, fingers gripping the fabric nice and tightly, nearly choking him.

"DIDN'T, YOUR, MOTHER, TEACH, YOU, ANY, MANNERS?!" The wolf hollered. Each blow slamming with the fury of a furious female with every word she spoke! The boy's behind was muscular, with very little in the way of fat, curving firmly down into his thighs, which is where most of her swats were landing.

She had to contend with the boy's broad tail- as most otters were equip with- but it didn't stop her from delivering the swats he deserved. Disrobe her, in a cheap attempt to win? The little...Every time she thought about it, her fingers flew again. She lifted them nice and high, paw poised to strike in prime position, and she bought it down with a sharp, swift arc, impacting that boy behind so firmly it echoed off the walls of the arena and drew a hot yelp of pain from the otter's other end!! Larry, for the most part, had been reduced from a powerful prodigy, to a crying youngster, his feet kicking out behind him, and he continued to try and raise up, only to be met with one blow, after another.

"AHHH!! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!!! I WON'T DO IT AGAIN! I PROMISE!!!!" Larry shrieked in terror, squealing as the girl's paw lashed at his vulnerable butt again. Most magic users, had to concentrate in order to cast a spell. Some of them, like Sparkle, had mastered quick casting, in which a single word could be used in lieu of a long incantation or chant, and some spell casters didn't even need to speak, they just needed to think. Prodigy or not, having one's bottom totally bared in front of a crowd of hundreds, and having a half naked women paddle you tended to do wonders to throw off one's concentration. No, Larry wasn't going to cast a damn thing, Spark would see to that. As her anger began to fade with each continued blow to the boy's behind, her ears perked at the sound of laughter flooding in from around her. The crowd was cackling, pointing and cheering the spectacle on. A brief show of magic followed by one of the contestants getting a sound spanking? It was hilarious. After a few more painful smacks, Sparkle finally released the scarf from her grasp- but Larry just lay across her lap, sobbing and sniffling pitifully, until the wolf stood up, and dropped him to the ground. Larry stood up too, shamefully buckling the back of his pants meekly, while glancing towards Sparkle.

"NOW GO TELL THE JUDGE YOU WERE CHEATING!" She snarled pointing towards the exit of the arena. Larry scrambled out of the pit, sniffling all the way while Sparkle stood there quietly watching him, until he disappeared into one of the open doors that appeared at the sides of the ring. Around her, the cheers and applause showered the arena, and the loud speaker crackled to life again.

"Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis just in! Sparkle Shadowpaw, has won by default! Larry Otter has apparently been cheating? I guess that sorta makes sense? Oh, well, the round goes to SPARKLE! Yet another unorthodox win by the little cutie! Show us some more of that spunk Sparkle...and you might wanna button up? Lil chilly down there honey? This match bought to you by Phoenix Wands! If it breaks, we'll replace it, cause no one raises to the challenge like Phoenix! See ya next time folks!!" The announcer called out, while Sparkle hastily buttoned up her jacket, blushing warmly in response to various catcalls and whistles that were shot at her from every angle in the stands. She sighed softly and picked up her cane, which she'd dropped while spanking Larry. Round three was just around the corner, and she wondered if this time, she'd be able to cast an offensive spell. The day for her was over, however, and she glanced at her watch curiously, and grinned. She still had time for lunch.
