Suddenly Bearmon was frozen. A portal appeared in front of Veemon. To hooded figures came out. They took off there hoods quickly. One looked just like Bearmon but darker and the other looked kind of like Patamon but he stood on two feet.

The Bear said, "I' DarkBearmon."

The other said, "And I am Lord Patamon."

Veemon asked, "Did I meet any of you two before?"

DarkBearmon said, "Nah you trippin'."

Lord Patamon said, "You think you can get along with everyone huh?"

Veemon asked, "What do you want?"

DarkBearmon said, "We here to tell you that you can't. Angel is gonna trip you up so good. She's gonna awaken the real you. Or Scourge, or maybe even Tails. He can make people angry. Oh everyone hates Tails. Or maybe just maybe Gatomon will do it. Who's knows listen why don't we just do a little old cheat code and get you to school faster."

Veemon asked, "What's this I keep hearing about a school."

Lord Patamon said, "Oh come now. Leave that other Bear and come with us. We promise not to hurt you. As a matter a fact were on your side trying to allow you to escape."

Lord Patamon said, "Sorry but were not allowed to speak your true name or we will all vanish. You must discover who you really are on your own. But we can help by getting you ready for school."

Veemon said, "Fine I'll go to the school. But I'm not going with out Spyro, Croc, Dorumon and Bearmon."

Lord Patamon said, "Already taken care of. Just look behind you."

Veemon turned to see Bearmon was gone.

Veemon said, "I want to see if my dad is ok."

Lord Patamon said, "It is wise to speak to father. He'll upset you too. Your color will change until there back to the way your were. You will see painful flashbacks of your real past. It's already taking its effect."

Veemon looked at his skin. His arms and legs were completely white. Veemon asked, "What is happing to me?"

Lord Patamon said, "Hurry through the portal. You're lucky to have only seen four good ones. There's only one other good one. The others will not hold back. They will try to fight it right out of you. They will try to hurt your friends. Now come."

Lord Patamon exited through the portal and so did DarkBearmon. The portal remanded open. Veemon stepped inside.

Veemon saw a bright flash and he thought, ‘Wow, am I dead. This feels so strange. My body feels frozen. My fears have become my phobias. My tears have become a fountain of death. I don't know the truth anymore. I start to ask who am I. The honest truth is I don't know anymore. Please seek me, call my name see if I still answer. Hollowed dusk and shadows surround me. My phobias have become my death. I feel broken and shattered into thousands of scattered pieces. Will you help me find them? Wait what is going on? Who are you?"

A voice questioned, "Reemon?"

Veemon asked, "Who? Did I miss hear that."

The voice got louder, "Veemon."

Veemon woke up in his bed. He sat up and looked at his father Flamedramon. Veemon asked, "Did you call me another name?"

Flamedramon said, "No. Now come on it's your first day of school and we don't want you to be late."

Veemon looked at his white skin. Flamedramon said, "The doctor said your skin should return to normal soon."

Veemon asked, "Doctor."

Flamedramon said, "Wow, you really don't remember after that fight with Bearmon. It took a lot out of you."

Veemon noticed a ring on Flamedramon's finger. Veemon asked, "What's with the ring?"

Flamedramon said, "Oh come on now. I know you were knocked out but how could forget my wedding."

Veemon asked, "Wedding?"

Flamedramon said, "Yes. I married Renamon remember."

Veemon asked, "Wait what about Agumon and Palmon."

Flamedramon said, "Well if your going to keep playing the forget game to waste time I'll just rush and tell you that me and Renamon adopted him after his parents passed."

Veemon asked, "How long was it since I was last in prison?"

Flamedramon said, "It's been a year now. So much has changed. Now come upstairs grab your bags and lunch and head out already."

Veemon stood up and went up stairs and thought, ‘No way. A year has passed. I don't remember anything right after getting it on with Bearmon. This is so creepy. Maybe I have been so out of it I forgot."

Veemon grabbed his stuff as Agumon and Palmon joined him.

Veemon thought as they walked, "Am I the only one who doesn't remember, I wonder."

Veemon asked, "So Agumon, I heard about your dad."

Agumon said, "He was a jerk anyway. Don't you remember?"

Veemon said, "Well I know he was neglected you a few times but that doesn't mean you should hate him."

Agumon said, "How could you forget, he killed my mom. Your were standing right next to me when it happened."

Veemon said, "Sorry, I guess I only remember being the hospital more. I've been spacing out a lot lately. Perhaps my skin is really bothering me so much."

Agumon said, "Well it is going to return."

Veemon asked, "Oh if your memory is so good what color what it go to."

Agumon said, "Blu..."

Agumon and Palmon froze. A cloaked figure appeared. The cloaked figure said, "I believe he was about to say blue."

Veemon said, "Oh which one are you?"

The cloaked figure said, "Are you serious. I used to be your best friend. I'm going to cry. You know what I was going to take off the hood but know I'm not so sure. Well Anyway Agumon will adjust himself the right answer is red."

Veemon said, "Wait at least tell me your name."

The cloaked figure said, "its Veestitch, got it memorized."

He teleported away. Agumon said, "Well you're going to turn back red Veemon."

Veemon said, "No, I was blue before."

Agumon said, "Man the punch must had really made you forget. Maybe after we should go to the hospital."

Veemon said, "That sounds good."

Veemon, Agumon and Palmon now stood at the school. They were joined by Spyro, Croc, Dorumon and Bearmon. They all entered in at the same time.
