They say its a legend. That these guys never existed and that what they did never could happen. However there are plenty of reports of these two appearing in a village and solving some issue. Don't know whats being referred to here, well sit on down and you'll hear the story.

The village where it all began was a quaint little place, barely even had a blacksmith, but had plenty of farms, and was barely more then a small traiding post for fruits and vegetables. However as of late they had ceased to be quite so quaint, some sort of being appearing and damaging their crops and livestock. However things were about to even get more insane for this small village, and the world they live in.

"Geez, this place......i can't even hear the clang o' the smithy hammer. Can't be much more then a little rural local it seems. Guess we'll grab a bit to eat and a place ta stay." The words came from a grizzled old Furred Eastern dragon, a long beard from his muzzle, his fur a strange mix of salt and pepper in the chin and crown region. He rubbed at his right eye with his equating arm, running a finger along his scar across his eye.

"Well i doubt anyone is going to really pay much attention to us. I mean look at how your dressed!" A little Lynx girl riding on his shoulders brought to his dress, a silver jacket worn to work as a makeshift sling for his left arm, underneath which was a leather breast plate. He came to a stop causing his black steel leggings to clink, him looking slightly at the girl the best he could. She was dressed in a short white dress with a blue jacket over it and yellow leggings underneath, with black elbow length fingerless leather gloves.

"yea yea....." He shifted and picked her up off his shoulders with his free arm putting her down. "Notice anything odd?" He looked at the lynx girl who responded with her ears twitching and turning in various directions and her nose sniffing.

"Nah, nothing yet. You know i'll react when some thing happens Leon."

"Ha.....Real funny Joania." He turned and walked towards what appeared to be the inn near the middle of the village, the largest building within the actual limits. The lynx girl followed him and they took a seat within the tavern part. Leon leaned back in the chair and groaned lightly. "Oh man my paws hurt, how long had we been walkin?"

"twelve hours, approximately." Joania sat with her legs pulled up in the chair looking around. "huh....yup farming town. Scent in here is extremely earthen, hint of water logging, and a few other farmy smells." She huffed and held her nose. "If you take a guess of what my super scent can detect you'd know." She sighed and her ears twitched constantly listening around the room. Leon nodded and stretched again looking around, adjusting his rapier on his hip.

The man that had been sitting behind the bar walked around it and walked over to the strange group. The bull cleaned his hands on the apron he was wearing and held it out. "Hello sir. I own this here bar, what can i get ya?" The bull kept a rather clear close eye on Leon's rapier.

"Just give us whatever you want to give us.....we don't really have much in the way of money...."

"Well you look to be a soldier of some kind sir....that true?" Leon shifted and rolled his neck shrugging.

"You....could say that yes. I'm not much of a soldier perse. More a smithy. I assume your talking about this sword on me hip." The bull nodded. "Aye, i made this sword, but its not made to just take on anything. Its a special sword, for a special case." The bull snorted and scowled.

"Well i'll give ya room and board for free if you can handle a problem we're having! I mean ya know how to use that sword don't ya?" Leon nodded again and rubbed his beard lightly.

"Well....yea i know how to use the weapons i smith, but see now the problem is...as much as that offer is amazing....you can't just offer it to me, ya gotta offer it to my friend here to." The bull nodded and snorted. "And the problem lastly is, i'm not some merc. I can't be hired for just anything."

A nearby horse got up stamping the ground and snorting. "What do you mean you can't just be hired for anything! There's some sorta demon destroying our lively hood here! Why don't you do something!" The horse got close and picked Leon up out of his chair with another snort. "If you aint gonna do nothin then make us a weapon or give one of us yer weapon there!"

Leon sighed and pulled the horse's hands off of his jacket and shook his head. "I can't do that. Now if you could provide me with the proper materials I could forge ye something but.....you couldn't bring me the proper stuff and I don't have any." Leon grabbed his rapier off of his hip and held it over the table, Joania moving away and standing behind Leon. "But if your so desperate then you can try to use this blade however....It is cursed, it bears the weight of the sins of every enemy slain. It is a sword of evils bane, drawn only for those who cannot be allowed to live. Destroying your lively hood in the manner I've seen walking into here....yea no. I will never draw this blade on something like that. However," He let the blade, in its sheath, go, dropping it on the table which immediately cracked and shattered, splitting along the line where the blade dropped.

The horse snorted and scoffed. "Ha! I'm the strongest in the village, I've seen heavier! My plow is heavy enough to do that!" The horse reached down to grab the blade and started to lift it, however he never got farther then that. He struggled with all his might to lift the blade but failed continously. The horse panted and the other patrons were starting to get antsy at this point and frustrated at Leon and Joania. "This is some magic trickery! There's no way a weakling like you can lift this!"

"Thou art strong enough to bear the weight of the sins of those slain by this sword. Thine heart too pure and thy soul too innocent. Only one who's soul is stained in the blood of sins can lift a blade of such." Leon reached down and picked the blade up with ease and put it back on his hip. "No magic, nothing more then the weight of evil."

"Leon......was all that fancy talking really needed? I mean c'mon you basically just castrated the guy in front of all his friends by even giving him the challenge of trying to pick the blade up." Joania stuck her tongue out at Leon with a giggle as he huffed and puffed his cheeks.

"trying to be melodramatic Joania!" Joania's ears twitched and swiveled to turn outside her nose twitching as she sniffed.

"Well they weren't entirely lying, there is a demon here. I'd place it at class D though." At that moment a body would come flying through the front wall of the inn, crashing into the bar and shattering most of the drinks. Outside of the hole was a large bull like beast, one with flames surrounding its hooves and horns. The beast let out a loud, banshee like scream causing everyone, especially Joania, to cover their ears.

Leon sighed and stretched his arm, jutting it forward, stretching his fingers, then clentching them. "This will be shit but, black iron, burn, freeze, fold, shape. Ether shape my will and pull from the air. Claim the area around me and pull the need. Iron wood, burn, freeze. Embue my will with the soul of ice! Ether forge, Ehter build, Ether Blade!" As he chanted these words a light appeared in his hand slowly being shaped into a long pole arm with an axe blade at the end of it. When he finished his chant the light took form, creating a pole axe with an ashen white pole and a pitch black axe head.

The creature, turned noticing the dragon now and roaring holding its hands out and creating its own axe out of fire. Leon smirked and walked forward spinning the axe and rolling his shoulder. "Its been a while since i've used this weapon so lets do this. Joania, just sit back and let me handle it." The creature spun its axe and swung it at him. Leon chuckled and flicked his axe connecting the creatures blade with the pole of his, easily deflecting the attack.

"Frost coating.....good thing i remembered that, otherwise i'd be out a weapon right now." Leon stepped back and spun his axe defecting each of the beasts attacks occasionally bringing his own blade down, slashing the beast lightly with each time, barely scratching it. The beast growled and brought its weapon up above its head with a roar, a roar that would be cut off in the middle as its head would be knocked backwards, a lance sticking out of its mouth.

The inn was shocked as Joania was standing on atable with a massive bow, twice her height, and made of pure black iron. "Damnit old man! Why the fuck can't you choose better weapons! Like a rapier or long sword made of black steel! Like me!"

"Yea well i could of just gone with a massive black steel bow with Trion arrows too but you know, thats a rather weak weapon against this type of beast. Slashing is best so i thought an axe to be the best possible weapon. "

"Then use a hand axe then!" A ticking sound then begun and Leon ducked as the creatures head exploded. He turned and glared at her with a huff. "Ok, ok, ok Trion arrows with a Gelanium core......i wanted to make sure it died!"

"Damnit girl....your going to be the death of me i swear."

"Haven't been for 20 years and still won't!" Leon groaned and walked back to his chair and plopped into it his axe turning into ash as he did so. The entire inn was looking at them like they couldn't possibly believe what just happened.

"Wh-what was.....how did...." The bull inn owner blinked and shook his head struggling to understand.

"I'm a blacksmith like i said, and this Lynx here is my assistant. We're Leon and Joania, the traveling demon slaying blacksmiths. Not that we do it for a small price. Soooooo. Bout that room and board.....we'll take the best room, best food, and.....uh....don't charge us for the damages here and we'll call it square eh?"

The village stayed away from them for the rest of the time, getting food and the rest they so wanted, and in the morning they started out but were stopped by another bull, "I'm the village blacksmith. Here thank you for helping." He handed them a satchel and walked off not allowing them a chance to say anything.

"oooo~ whats in the bag!" Joania snatched the bag and took a glance into it, purring. "Oooo~ Turns out this place has some pretty good matierals after all. Nothing super special, normal white iron.....oh we have all the stuff to make a really good white steel weapon! Can we make a white steel rapier for me!"

Leon chuckled and sighed rubbing his head. "My gosh.....you silly little fluff ball. Yea yea, we'll make you a new white steel weapon.....too bad its not black steel, that or Jacite. We could really use that."

With that they headed on their way along the road, continuing to go where the road takes them, where they'll be next they never know.
