Alone: Chapter 3
Alone Chapter 3: A relationship The next day, I got home around 2:00pm. I working very hard on my automotive project. I didn't finish it, but i'm building a 2015 Subaru Impreza, it was STI and it was turning out great! I am very excited about it. The only things I need to complete is making and installing the whole engine block and to complete and paint the body kit. Nothing past 2 days and the car should be complete. I was very, very tired. When I got back Payton and Crystal went out, my mom went to the store, and I don't even know where Nathan went. I got in my bed and passed out, the next thing I know, i'm waking up at 9:00pm. Of course Nathan wasn't home, Crystal, our mom, and Payton were watching a movie downstairs. "Oh, hey Steven!" my mother greeted as I tiredly walked down the stairs. "Hey mom." I said. "We're watching Furry Paws 2, if you want to join." Crystal invited me. Payton just smiled, he was scared to talk to me because he had a crush on me and my sister knew. Oh! I should tell you that my younger sister was at a camp for the summer. I went to the kitchen and got a drink. I sat down on the love seat alone. "Why don't you join us on the couch?" my sister asked. "I don't plan on sticking around or much longer, i'm heading out tomorrow to finish my car." I explained. "Oh, how close are you to finishing?" she asked. "Very," I whispered. "Well, goodnight." I said to them. They said goodnight back and I went to bed. It was the next day and I went to my garage before Payton could ask me out. It was little past 12:00am. and I finished my Subaru and I came home. I fell asleep quickly after. The next morning I woke to Payton pacing around the room. "What're you doing?" I asked. "Oh, i'm just waiting on a call," he lied. "Ok," I said. I went downstairs and asked my mom and Crystal if they wanted to see my new car. They agreed and we went outside. They were amazed at the car, it looked nice and it turned out better than expected. I told them goodbye and I left to see a movie. "Crystal!" Payton shouted. "What?" Crystal asked. "I don't know how to ask out Steven!" he said nervously. "I have an idea." Crystal told Payton. Two hours and a half later I came back. I walked in the house and Payton was waiting on the couch. "Oh, hey Steven, great timing." he greeted. "Hey, what about my timing?" I asked. "I wanted to know if you would want to go out to eat, just you and me," he explained. "Like a date?" I asked. "No, just to get to know each other more!" he exclaimed. "Ok," I said hesitantly. "I guess i'll drive, I don't think I showed you my new car did, I?" I questioned. He smiled when he saw it and asked if it was a manual. I answered yes and we both got into the car. "I love it," he complimented. "Thanks," I said back. It was 9:00pm and it was dark out. "So where are we eating at?" I asked. "Oh, um at that nice place on Candlelit road." he answered. "The Candlelit restaurant?" I asked. "Yeah!" he excitedly said. "How much does it cost for the both of us?" I seriously asked. "It's okay I have money." he replied. "Okay, thank you, it was a long time since I ever went to a fancy restraunt." I said. "No problem, I always wanted to go there to." he told me. We were at The Candlelit restaurant and we were seated. "I thought you didn't eat dinner," he smiled. "Eh, every once and awhile." I told him. "May I get you two drinks?" the waitress asked. "A sweet tea," Payton politely told the woman. "May I please have a merlot?" I asked. "Yes, we will have your drinks out immediately." she smiled. We both replied with a thank you. "Steven," I looked at Payton. "I never knew you drunk wine?" he asked curiously. "Yeah, I do, the whole time I was making my car I was drinking a bottle of Syrah, which is a type of red wine." I explained to him. A few minutes later our drinks came out. "Do you want to try the merlot?" I asked him. "Sure, but just a very little sip." he told me. He took a little sip and cringed at it. "Wow, never saw someone act like that when first drinking wine." I chuckled. I sipped a small sip and smiled. "Thank you again," I said. It's not everyday I get to actually have a good time, you know?" I told him. He smiled and chuckled. "What can I get you two for dinner?" the waitress came back and asked. "Can I have the spaghetti meal," he asked. "Ok, and for you sir?" she asked. "I'll just get the same thing," I told the waitress. "Um, Steven." he blushed. "Yeah?" I asked. "We've known each other for a couple days, right?" he asked. "Yeah, we've became great friends too," I said giving a little smirk and blush. "Well, I need to admit something to you." he told me. "What is it?" I asked. "Will you go out with me?" Payton asked me. I faced turned red. I was smiling nervously. He smiled back. "Yes-s, of course," I smiled blushing. The waitress saw his ask me out and she smiled. She brung us our food and she asked us if we were dating.
"We just got together!" Payton smiled. The waitress looked at Payton and said," you picked a great time to ask him out." "I know, I was planning it since this morning," he smiled. "So, that's why you were pacing around the room this morning." I said still blushing. He smiled and scooted closer to the table. We thanked her and we ate our food. After our meal, Payton paid for our meal and we were walking to my car. Payton stopped walking and I did too. He looked at me and walked toward me. He grabbed me and we closed our eyes as we kissed on the lips. My face was red again and we both laughed. We went home and fell asleep together. He snuggled me up against him and we both fell asleep.
