#15 of Half-wolf Pokemon Adventure

Road to Ambrette

(Typhlosion's POV)

After mating my wolf, we both fell asleep while the shower was turned on. The water awoke me an hour later, so I picked up my mate and stealthy sneaked the lupine's resting body back into the room. I was thankful that I was last since by the time I entered the room with the naked dog in my arms, everybody was in their Pokeball, sleeping. I awkwardly put his clothes back on him, but I couldn't hide my scent from inside him. Luckily, only some of the team (and by some I meant all of us, but that stupid chicken) could smell it. All I hoped for was that they would mistake it for his newly half canine half human scent. The actual thought of hoping his scent was similar to mine quickly died as realization hit me.

"I'm fucked." I whispered to myself. "Lucario or Zoroark must've smelled my scent in our trainer by now... unless they didn't.. I hope they didn't. I can't have the others know that I'm... Junior's mate. It'll ruin Junior's life if they find out." My concern grew as I glanced at the wolf. His quiet sleeping form and adorable face earned a smile across my muzzle. My eyes stared at his amulet. Weird how it's shrouded in mystery, sticks out like a sore thumb, nearly killed my mate and yet, Junior STILL wears it! Sometimes I don't understand his thinking process. Sighing, I licked his cheek then tapped on the red Pokeball on the desk. Eyes closed as it absorbed me into it.

...

With a loud, earth shattering yawn, I awoke. The Pokeball's red beam shot out and I emerged, looking into the happy face of my trainer.

"Morning!" Junior happily barked. He seemed happier than usual. Must've probably been from me mating him.

I smiled at the sight of my lover smiling at me. He wasn't wearing his hoodie or his jeans so his wolfness was shown. I was entranced by his swinging tail, staring at it in lust. I didn't know why, but looking at my mate's tail, even a glimpse, made my mind focus on it. Was it's because it was fluffy or the right size? Maybe because it's him... yeah, that's probably why. I thought curiously. Either way, I watched as Fluffy put his clothes back on. A small question itched my mind.

"Junior?"

"Yes love?"

"Um... why did you need to put your clothes back on? I thought I put them back on you..." A chuckle emitted from the hybrid.

"So that's why I awoke with my clothes on! Anyways, I took off my hood and jeans because I was gonna switch outfits, but your Pokeball shook and I didn't want you to be cramped in it." Junior explained. My badger ears twitched slightly. A small smirk crept on my muzzle.

"Then... change. Nobody else is here right? Only you and I?" My question made the wolf's cheeks turn pink. A cloud of unease surrounded him.

"I.. uh, guess... b-but I don't feel comfortable.."

"Really? How can you not be comfortable especially when I see your naked body on a regularly basis now?" I inquired. Junior glanced at the floor as a sense of embarrassment filled the room.

I got up to my mate, gave him a kiss on his cheek and smiled. "You're so cute when you're embarrassed!" My happy statement surprised the wolf (mostly because of the kiss). His blush deepened as a small grin grew.

"S-Stop it..." He commanded. Obviously I listened, but not without nuzzling him.

"OK my love. Shouldn't you change so we can head out?" I asked. Junior sighed loudly.

"You just want to see me naked again, don't you? That's why you're persistent about this?"

"Yup," I growled flirtatiously. "Now how about it? Undress!"

"OK! Fine.. just... try not to get physical. I'm still sore down there..." Junior said, a hint of submission in his voice. If I had a tail it'd be wagging from excitement. I also had a strong urge, but I had to restrain myself. Like my wolf said, he wasn't wanting to be claimed today and I respected his request. So instead, I watched silently as my mate began undressing. Once his main clothing was removed, it left him almost naked. Only thing he hadn't removed was his underwear which if was removed, I wouldn't be able to hold instincts back.

....

Not going to lie, my tongue stuck out. I couldn't tell how long I stared at him before snapping back to reality from the lupine's booming clap.

"Typhlosion!"

"What?"

"Damn... took you long enough to snap out of it," Junior twirled around, allowing me to see his whole new outfit. I completely spaced out while staring at him. It took me a second to register his new gear. His color scheme was completely different! Instead of his drab grey and black outfit, he wore a more bright and expressive look.

A new blue jacket accompanied by his regular red gloves. He still had a hoodie which covered his face with a dark shadow, but I still saw his adorable smile. His pants were also blue, but the endings of them were orange. His shoes were also different by being a light mix of green and blue.

Junior put his old uniform into his bag before looking back at me and smiling.

"Like my new gear? Bought it before leaving Vaniville town."

"Um.. yes I do! Actually.. anything you wear I'll love, even if you're naked!" My statement made my lover's cheeks turn pink. I loved it how he blushed. Proved I was doing something right with him.

"W-Well... I-I-I think we should regroup with the others..." Junior said sheepishly. I nodded as we both left the room, outside the Pokemon center and into the town called Camphrier.

(Zoroark's POV)

Blaziken, Lucario and I waited outside the Pokemon center for about an hour, waiting for our trainer and Typhlosion. We avoided talking to each other until a sudden door opening got our attention.

"Finally," I groaned. "Can we head out already-" I stopped myself as I saw Junior's new outfit. I was always used to his dark, mysterious look ever since his transformation, but having a look at his old side was a great change. Sure he still had a hood, but it was for obvious reasons.

I wasn't the only one astonished by our trainer's new get up since I took a glance at Lucario and Blaziken only to see surprise in their eyes.

"Why the sudden change in clothing?" Lucario inquired. "Did you get dirt all over your other ones?"

"Nah.. just figured I needed to switch things up. Why? You guys don't like it?"

"No we do..." I stated. "Just really surprising is all.. actually, I wouldn't have expected you to-"

"Junior?! You're alive?!" Everybody turned their heads toward the surprised human. His green eyes were filled with shock and relief. The Rhyperior by his side groaned angrily.

The boy ran toward the hooded half wolf until stopping a few feet away and smiled brightly. His Pokemon just growled, catching Typhlosion's and Blaziken's interest.

"Why are you angry, pebble? Didn't we save your trainer's-"

"Shut the fuck up you overgrown chicken." Rhyperior growled. He rose his arm and aimed it at Blaziken, but his trainer stopped him. A shake of Axel's head disheartened the rock Pokemon's aggressiveness.

"So," Axel began happily. "You're alive? What was with those people anyways? Does this always happen with you?" His inquiry made the wolf worry. He was probably thinking how he didn't want to be ambushed again. Then again, none of us wanted that.

Our wolf trainer glanced at his friend turned lover. The badger shook his head, knowing what his question was going to be. Junior turned back to the kid and sighed.

"Sorry Axel.. but I don't even know what it was about." Junior emotionlessly said. The kid's expression slowly changed to disappointment but also relief.

"Well... at least you're safe.. like the new look by the way!" The boy exclaimed. He seemed more childish since the last time we saw him, but I didn't give it much of a thought.

Without any words, Junior turned to the town's gate. I could sense his tail struggling to wag from inside his outfit. Typhlosion, Lucario, and everybody else began to follow closely behind him. I sniffed the air and chuckled. It smelled like Cheri berries nearby Junior.

A tap of my trainer's arm got his attention. I smirked at him, getting closer to his canine ears. "You two fucked again, right?" I whispered to him. He growled a low growl at me, instead of saying a word. I'll take that as a yes. I thought.

We got sidetracked and ended up walking through the town, buying stuff. Food, Super repel, Potions (ugh) and medicine, a few accessories, berries and finally Pokeballs. I didn't see the point of buying Pokeballs especially since Junior stuck with only us four during his entire adventure. And the odder part about it was that he only bought two of the capture devices instead of having a copious amount.

Axel also bought some stuff. Although, less than Junior, he bought a few potions and drinks to go along with the food. Lucario and I tried to pick stuff for ourselves such as chocolate bars and expensive Pokepuffs, but Junior's glance changed our minds. After an 'accidental' theft from Johto, he always kept an eye on the two of us. But damn, all this over a small bar of chocolate?

"Alright, think that's everything. You stocked up Axel?"

"I guess, but you're the one with everything. I'm just carrying extras." The green eyed kid stated. Axel glanced at me and smiled. I tilted my head because I didn't understand why he was smiling. Rhyperior saw this and growled loud enough to make the two trainer's jump even if he wasn't nearby either of them.

"What is it?" Axel inquired shockingly. Rhyperior just crossed his rocky arms and scowled. Guess he wasn't going to say anything after all.

Ignoring the rock type's sudden outburst, Junior signaled his team to follow. We did of course with Axel following behind. I glanced ahead to the wolf and badger and smiled as I saw Typhlosion get closer to his mate. He wasn't trying to expose their secret by doing anything, but I knew he wanted to by the way he was walking beside the hybrid. Hopefully those two reveal their secret soon or else I'm going to spill the beans.

...

"Well..." Junior began. "This is troubling.." When we left the town, Junior put everybody in their pokeballs, except Me and Lucario. After a loud argument, Axel placed his troubling partner into his ball too. We made it to a bridge, but something happened to prevent us from continuing onward.

We were hiding behind a large bush as all of us watched several kids crowding in front of a sleeping Snorlax. It rested in the middle of the road.

"Why? And who are those kids?" Axel asked. The half wolf must've forgot that Axel hasn't met Serena or known of the fact that we might have accidentally ditched her. Luckily, she was with a crowd of her friends so it was a fact she was OK.

"Their.. um.. that isn't important. How about we find another way-"

"Is this the Poke Flute, Serena?"

"Yes it is! Thanks Calem." Serena happily confirmed. She took the red and white instrument from the dark haired boy, her glance went toward a different boy with orange hair. He was quite shorter than she, but looked more mature. When he realized that her eyes were on him, he shut his green Pokedex and smiled.

"Now we can awake this Snorlax! Hopefully it doesn't get angry and attack.." The kid stated grimly.

"I hope not... but if it does we can try to calm it or something, right?" A brown haired girl asked. Her smile and question made everyone chuckle.

"Hopefully Shauna. Hopefully." Serena gazed at the flute, a spark of hope in her eyes. Before anything else can happen she drew the Poke flute closer to her and began playing a familiar melody. It took me only a moment to recognize the melody as an 'Awakening melody'.

Slowly and deeply, the large sleeping Pokemon groaned. He sat up while glaring at her.

"What's the big deal? I'm sleeping here!" The sleepy Pokemon stated.

"He seems angry." Shauna pointed out. She was right. Even if they couldn't understand him, his expression and movement was clear.

"Junior." The blonde haired trainer whispered.

"What?"

"That Snorlax might attack them.. should we be cautious?" He made a fair point. Snorlax never liked being woken up, resulting in battles. And this time was no different. An orangish beam appeared in his mouth. All of us instantly knew what was going to happen.

"Lucario, ExtremeSpeed then use Bone Rush!" The hooded wolf's command was instantly followed as in a blur, the jackal ran toward the previously resting Pokemon. A trail of white light followed behind.

With a swift shot, Lucario smacked the large pokemon's face with the attack. The Snorlax's Hyper Beam stopped mid charge. The kids were in shock to seeing a Lucario saving them. The orange headed kid on the other hand took out his camera and snapped a photo amusingly.

"That Lucario...." Serena began. "Isn't it.. wait, that Lucario is Junior's!" No duh.. I thought. At her exclamation, Junior and the others arose from behind the rather large bush, surprising all of the trainers. It was silent as Serena scowled at us. Even without a word, I knew she was angry from leaving her behind.

"L-Look, I know you're angry.. but I think that we should focus on the trouble at hand?"

"He's right, let's do introductions later." Axel's statement got through to the kids. Their glances went toward Lucario and Snorlax, but Serena glanced at the hooded wolf.

"Talk to him."

"What? Why?"

"Because I remember you're the only one who can understand Pokemon, now do it!" She commanded. Junior winced, but obeyed her. He passed by Lucario, who tried to stop him, but the canine measly stepped to the side. The jackal didn't even continue fighting as he watched our trainer walk up to the wild Pokemon.

"Hey, uh... c-can you not attack us? Also these trainers are kids and they didn't know that you.. um.. enjoy sleep. Sorry, OK?" Junior apologized wholeheartedly. Snorlax grumbled angrily.

"Leave. Now, before I hyper beam you-" The large Pokemon stopped mid sentence as a miniature light erupted from Junior's belt and landed behind us.

"Do that and I'll burn you into ashes!" A rough voice from behind me growled. He ran in between Junior and the napping Pokemon.

"T-Typhlosion? How'd you..?"

"Leave my Pokeball? Easy. When I want to leave, I just do. Now," The protective badger growled at the large Pokemon. "Move so that my friends can continue their adventure! You DON'T want to see my angry side!" The starter's flames ignited. His threats got through to him and the Snorlax quickly got up (after falling over himself) and ran away. Probably to the hills. A tired sigh escaped Junior's mate.

"What's wrong with you?" My inquiry alerted the Pokemon. It took a second for him to realize his surroundings until growling at the sight of the girl he despised.

"She's here? I thought we got rid of her!" Typhlosion yelled angrily. Serena felt his hostility and stepped back before recoiling at the only one in our group she knew.

"Junior, calm him down!" She screeched. Our trainer sighed before looking at Typhlosion. A pleading look on his canine face nullified the badger's aggressiveness.

"What's going on here?! Just who are you?" The orange haired boy and Shauna asked in unison. Their approach on Junior triggered Typhlosion, who growled and stood between them. A calm place of the hybrid's paw reassured his partner.

"Now isn't important," Junior glanced down the road until meeting eyes with Serena. "I'm sorry we left you behind, but if you... experienced what happened awhile ago... you would've left on your own. Lets go everyone." Suddenly our trainer began to walk past the bridge the Snorlax as previously resting on. It was probably because of remembering those... events, that his tone grew dark. I still felt a broken bone somewhere in me because of that fight.

Nonetheless, Lucario, Typhlosion, Axel and I followed the hooded wolf. Serena and friends just watched us in confusion. I actually glanced back and still saw them staring until we walked out of sight.

(Lucario's POV)

"Typhlosion?"

"What ya want?" He replied.

"Why'd you get out of your ball back there? Did you sense something out of the ordinary? Did you know that Snorlax was threatening Junior?" My question left the badger silent. He ignored me for a while, continuing to walk behind the half wolf, but I began pestering him until he growled at me.

"Can you stop poking me? I will hurt you if you keep this up." Typhlosion's threat startled me, but I knew I was safe... as long as Junior was two feet away. He knew that I wouldn't leave him alone so he grumbled.

"What do you want? If I solve your curiosity or answer a question of yours, will you let me be at peace?" He asked, voice full of annoyance. Junior turned to face us. Guess Typhlosion felt sheepish since his ears fell somewhat. Guess I won't get his answer. I thought sadly. Oh well, time to find out what Junior's thinking... My glance went toward our trainer walking beside Axel. A smirk spread across my face. I rested my mind and slowly heard Junior's voice in my head.

Trying to spy on me huh Lucario? I yelped out loud. Loud enough to startle Zoroark and grab everyone's attention.

"Is he OK? Did he almost fall or something?" Axel inquired. I instantly felt embarrassed. My cheeks glew deep crimson as everybody stopped walking and stared at me. My tail tried to hide between my legs, but I made every attempt to stop it. Junior crossed his arms with a deep throated growl. I recoiled by growling back.

Don't growl at me Lucario, My trainer reached his paw toward me and pat my head. The ears on top of my head fell to the sides as he giggled. Or I won't use you in battle! The half wolf's threat fell on deaf ears. I knew my tail was wagging from his petting, but I still glared at him.

You need me in the next battle either way... right? I wasn't sure if he did need me in the next battle as a guarantee, or as a safety plan, but the thought of not battling scared me. Especially since I liked a little Brawl.

Junior smirked and signaled for everybody to keep walking. Of course everybody followed his example and we eventually passed a Pokemon breeding center, which humans call the Daycare.

Typhlosion, Zoroark and I glanced at the building. A short yellowish building surrounded by a tall blue fence blocked the Pokemon behind it from leaving. I shivered at the... sight. I wasn't a pervert and I never wanted to be one, so I automatically quickened my walking pace. I never wanted Junior to get the idea of stuffing me into one of those with a damn creepy Ditto. Zoroark and Typhlosion groaned as they too walked faster to catch up until it became a dash. Junior and Axel had to run in order to catch up to us.

We stopped at a cave entrance. After a minute or two of waiting, the two trainers eventually caught up. Their heavy breathing signaled exhaustion.

"Can you guys... s-slow down? You all r-run too fast..." Junior wheezed out. He placed his paws on his new blue pants. Typhlosion, concerned for his friend's well being, walked toward him.

"You OK? Should we rest for now or-"

"N-No.. I'm fine.. just need.. a warning before we suddenly run that distance again." Axel weakly nodded his head to agree with Junior. My gaze wandered until stopping at a blue squared sign beside the cave's door. Connecting Cave it read. My blue canine ears perked out of interest.

"Junior," I began tugging on his arm. "Is this where we're going?"

"Y-Yeah.. but.. if I read my Pokegear correctly, it isn't that big of a tunnel." His statement might've been true, but I still felt excited to explore it a little.

Once the trainers caught their breaths, I stood by the cave entrance, my tail wagging like no tomorrow.

"Eager to lose in a gym battle?" Zoroark mockingly inquired.

"Yeah, like how you lost at the first gym?"

"Hey! It was a tough bug Pokemon!"

"Um.. guys," Junior interrupted. "C-Can you two bicker about that later? You're blocking the entrance.." Both of our ears perked. Our glances went to our trainer before moving out of his way. He clicked something his Pokegear and instantly emitted a bright light. It brightened the cave. Several Zubats shrieked and flew deeper into the cave to avoid the light. One of them crossed their wings to shoot a light blue X at the light source. Junior's high-pitched yelp was cut short once Typhlosion tackled him down, preventing most of the attack from hitting our half wolf friend. It grazed his right shoulder cutting his new blue jacket. A bit of fur was exposed but thankfully no blood. Axel couldn't even see his speck of fur due to him already being in the darkness of the cave.

"You OK?" Us three Pokemon asked urgently. Echoes sounded throughout the cave.

"Yeah.. n-nothing I can't handle right? Besides, it's unnoticeable right now. B-But can somebody stand by me in case he sees my spot of fur outside the cave?" He whispered to us. Naturally, Typhlosion swiftly took that spot then glanced up at Junior who held the Pokegear in his already injured arm.

"You shouldn't hold your Pokegear like that. You might strain your arm even more.." The starter's whimper somewhat convinced the boy.

"How about I hold it and walk ahead?" I suggested. The hybrid handed me the Pokegear without a thought and I shone it ahead. The pathway was littered with rock types and bat-like Pokemon. My footfalls frightened them. I signaled everyone with my tail to follow me.

"Follow the Lucario!" I playfully chirped. Everyone did follow me through the short cave, but it wasn't over. At the cave's entrance lead a difficult looking cliff. I stood at the edge to look around full of glee. My gaze went below to see two somewhat close town beside the sea's edge. I guessed those were our destination. I quickly entered Junior's mind to get the towns' names.

"Ambrette town and Cyllage city." Junior stated behind me. I jumped forward frightfully almost falling off the edge, but Zoroark caught my spiked paw, flinching from pain. My whimper at the sight of my friend's wince got his attention.

"Don't worry pal... I'm fine." Zoroark groaned. He pulled me back toward the group. The illusion fox faked a smile in attempt to reassure me. Why Zoroark? I telepathically thought to him. His dark paw taps my shoulder bringing me back to reality.

"Don't worry.. I can easily heal myself once we continue our advance." Junior walked behind the fox and smiled, Typhlosion walking close beside him. "Or.. I could give you a Potion." He stated nonchalantly. Zoroark's ears perked up before he dashed away.

"Hey! Get back here!"

"I won't be given that painful Pokemon sting spray! You'll have to catch and force me first!" Junior sighed. He looked at me.

"Lucario?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you go find out where he's going to hide while the three of us make it there?" My trainer beamed causing me to smile back.

"Of course. Be back in a few!" I stated as I carefully ran down the mountain, chasing the fellow canine. My chuckle echoed throughout the area, reaching a certain hunter we've fought before.

_ {Meanwhile} _

"What kind of trainer would let his Pokemon roam free? What if they got hurt or captured by a poacher? Does he really trust his Pokemon that much...? What a murderous fool.. he better hope he gets a quick death instead of the slow agonizing one I'll give him!"
