EPILOGUE

Sakari panted heavily as she wiped sweat from her brow, holding onto a hoe for support. A smile spread across her muzzle as she looked over the freshly plowed field in front of her. Giving her nod aproval, she turned around and began to walk around to the shed in the corner of the fenced in area.

It'd been almost 4 years since the fight with Zerataph. Sakari was surprised when she had reached Fayorn after the battle to find that many of the returning inhabitants were already rebuilding. Now the village was larger than it had ever been before and was pulling in a larger harvest.

She set the hoe down in the back corner of the shed and grabbed a bag of seed. Throwing it over her shoulders, she walked towards the door. A bright red fox jumped down in front of her, giving off a loud rawr. Sakari yelped and fell back, the seed bag spilling its contents onto the wooden floorboards. "Keelya!" She screamed in surprise, a hint of rage catching in her voice. "Don't do that." Sakari growled as she picked herself off. The feeling was replaced as she looked up at the vixen.

Keelya hand grown quite a bit in the time they'd bein appart. The fox was as tall as Sakari was and her fur was thicker and a brighter red color. The vixen waved her tail and smile. "Aww, come on, I'm just having a bit of fun."

Her excitement could barely be contained as she hugged keelya tightly. "Oh gods, I can't believe you're here. It's been so long." She said and pulled back. "How've you been? Is Ferain with you?" She asked quickly.

"I"m here." Ferain smiled as he came from around the shed. "Keelya couldn't wait to see you, ran through the whole town looking for you, she did." The cougar smiled, he stood almost a full head over the two females now, and his fur still held its bright golden color even though it'd grown quite a bit longer to adapt to the cold temperature in Auzl.

Sakari quickly pulled him in for a hug as well, the three of them laughing loudly. " Wow, you two look great. What have you been up to for so long?"

"We've been keeping busy. The village is fully rebuilt, fending attacks from pirates and thugs. You wouldn't think an icy place like Azul would be under so many attacks." He chuckled and and held Keelya by the waist, holding her against his side. "That and...well, Keelya and I are married now." Ferain smiled, a light blush coming to his cheeks as his long tail fidgeted around behind him.

Sakari smiled and clapped her paws. "Heh heh Congradulations, you two. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the wedding." She waved her read tail behind her slowly. "I've just been so busy putting together the village and the farm. We're harvesting more crops now than we can manage. At least there's more merchants coming by this way."

Ferain laughed and nodded. "I bet, I'm gald you're doing so well." He said and glanced at the bags of seed in the shed. "By the way, you haven't gotten the king's letter yet, have you?" He asked.

Sakari smiled lightly and nodded. "The one that asked if I would become a part of the royal guard? Yeah, i've gotten it, I've already declined. As...Much as it was my dream as a cub, I've got more important things to keep me here.

Just as she finished her sentence, a little red wolf cub ran up to her, leaping up into her arms. "Momma!" He barked excitedly. "Daddy said dindin is ready." The two year old wolf said cutely before looking Ferain and Keelya's direction. "Who are them?"

"Hehe, These are my friends from Azul, Tsen: Keelya and Ferain." She pointed to them in turn." Friends, this is Tsen, My youngest son." Sakari smiled and held the cub close.

"Hi there, Tsen." Ferain and Keelya said and waved, giggling as the boy waved back with his red tail.

"Sakari! Dinner's one." A male could be heard from the house.

Sakari chuckled and turned towards the house. "Better go before Daddy gets mad, huh?" She teased the cub in her arms, making him giggle widly. "Would you two like to join us, meet the rest of the family?" She asked as she stepped up onto the small porch, wiping her feet sliding the door open and placing the cub inside.

"Heh, Thanks, we could use a nice meal." Keelya said and walked up wit Ferain close on her tail.

"Dear, I've brought some company. I hope you don't mind." She said as they settled down around the table. "Guys this is Hakira. These are my friends that helped me four years ago."

"Not at all." he said and set a large pot of rice and chicken before shaking hands with the two. "Sakari's told me so much about your journey. It's glad to finally meet you in person." the gray wolf smiled as they all began to eat and talk and reminice about their adventures.
