(I love this story, but it came out....funny and my rules on grammar are.....sketchy at best. I...think this is...right...sorta...some odd formatting changes from Word to FA to here make it sorta of confusing for me.

Spark felt a shuddering ripple of uncertainty bounce along the empty hollows of her stomach as she weaved her hips past bright, alabaster coated tables and clacked her heels along the marble floor. She had never experienced any sense of stage fright before, but now; strolling as casually as possible into one of New York's finest restaurants, she felt a terror that bordered on paralysis. She didn't belong amongst the city's elite and certainly had no business perusing past shoulders caressed in the latest fashions, or shapely bodies wearing gowns that shimmered like the stars. She belonged in the underbelly of New York's darkest clubs, dancing to the dingy beat of parading footsteps overhead, while showered in the sweat and heat of those surrounding her and bathed in the music from the rattling, pulsing speakers nearby.

The restaurant, Alain Ducasse, did not want her, and she had no right to trample across it's perfect polished floors. But there she stood, letting her gaze play across the sea of scalps and expensive clothes till she stopped with cold relief. Her salvation, from her position at the front of the restaurant, was Sylvia Shadowpaw- also known as Sugar, who was sitting dreadfully at the furthest end of the restaurant at a quaint little table covered in perfectly pressed cloth. Sparkle gave an annoyed grunt, before wobbling quietly towards her sibling, whom noted her arrival but made no measure to display it.

Heels were bad enough to wear in their own right, but having a pelvis that had been shattered when you were eight and provided you with the next fifteen years of privileged parking, made them damn near impossible. More than once, Spark had to stop and straighten to maintain her balance and more than once did she note the heads that turned and gawked at her. Heads that turned and gawked at her for all the wrong reasons. She was dressed in her best: A shimmery, purple dress with no back that flowed stylishly down to her ankles and a pair of black, pointed high heels that were attempting to amputate her toes. No one turned because of her beauty; her raven black hair, her emerald green eyes, or her shapely figure. No, they only stared out of pity at the poor, hobbling girl with the long, gaping pauses in her stride as she caressed the floor. One male, whom Spark was positive, was only attempting to help, almost stood up to assist her in limping towards her destination. Spark however, declined his offer with a sputtering murmur of annoyance and clung to the remains of her pride to the best of her ability. To her credit, she managed make it to the targeted table and collapsed with a huff into an open seat. Resting across the table from her, sat her elder sister, Sugar Shadowpaw, clad in a bright blue expensive dress that looked like it cost more than two of Sparkle's paychecks combined. Sugar had graduated from college around the age of twelve and quickly pursued a medical career in pediatrics. By the age of sixteen, she already had two doctorates and was one of the most sought after medical minds of her field. By twenty, she owned shares on half of the buildings and property in New York City. She was quite possibly, one of the most powerful women in the world and she was sitting directly across from a bartender, whom spanked other females for a living.

"I hate you." Sparkle hissed with no small amount of disdain in her voice. Sugar's lips pursued a half twinkle of a smile before she glanced around at her surroundings and made a gesture with an empty paw towards her sibling. The wolf, like Sparkle, had stormy grey fur and a long, black crop of hair that cascaded down to her shoulders in silky flowing strips. Across the bridge of her nose was a pair of bright, clear spectacles and underneath was black lipstick that clung to her full, pouty lips. She would be a knock out if she had the slightest clue what so ever what a date was. In a way, past all of her money, power and intelligence, Spark found she pitied her sister to no end. The girl had no concept of boys, courting or sex. She was all work and no play.

"This is the only table they had. We're lucky to have gotten this one at such short notice." She explained. Sparkle rolled her eyes with a quiet snort and leaned quietly back against her seat.

"You n' me? We have EXTORDINARILY differing definitions on the word 'luck'. Thing is, I don't believe in the stuff, cause if I did, the only luck I'd have is bad luck. That being said; How lucky am I to spend New Year's eve, NOT enjoying myself in my bar, too drunk to remember my own name, but in a French restaurant with a menu that I can't pronounce. Oh yes, if this so called 'luck' holds out, do fetch me a lottery ticket. "The wolf hissed quietly through clenched teeth. Sugar reached her paws across the table to caress Sparkle's and she offered her younger sibling a small stretched grin.

"Your liver is lucky. Trust me, it's going to thank you. "Sugar said quietly. Sparkle gave a grim sneer and shook her head.

"Bullshit. If my liver kills me, I'm fine with that. Who the fuck wants to be old?" Sparkle gave a snort before turning her head towards a sharp movement to her right. A waiter; a cheetah actually, standing tall, wearing a white shirt and black slacks with a towel or something draped across his right arm.

"Ladies. Welcome to Alain Ducasse. My name is Leroy and I will be taking care of you this evening. Can I offer you a wine list, while you wait fo-"

"God, yes." Spark hissed, her eyes lighting up brightly, while the cheetah tossed her a look of contempt, like a rich couple whom might spy a raggedy stray picking through their trash cans. He gave a sigh of bated breath and perked an ear to listen to any requests, before Sugar spoke up quickly.

"Oh, no, she won't be drinking tonight, will she?" The elder lupine asked, while Spark offered yet another grim sneer of disapproval.

"The fuck I will! I've changed my mind. No wine for me, thanks but I WILL take a White Russian." Sparkle quipped happily. The waiter gave a droned sigh and rolled his amber colored eyes.

"I'm sorry, madam, but we don't serve such horrendous concoctions here. This establishment has a state of standards we abide by and like our guests to abide by as well." He explained in a breathless sigh. Spark's ears perked a moment, before she nodded her head quaintly.

"So I see. Well fuck you too then. Shoo." Spark quipped, waving her paw to dismiss the waiter, who turned about sharply on his heel and mumbled something dastardly under his breath.

"And on that particularly wondrous encounter I shall take my leave. Goodnight, Sugar. " Spark grumbled quietly, ears folded back in disgust as she stood up and shifted her chair underneath her. Sugar sat quietly where she was seated, watching as her sister twisted around, only to be stop cold where she was. Across the restaurant stood another wolf who stood only a few inches shorter then Spark, clad in a bright silver dress. She had blonde hair that would have put Goldilocks to shame and a set of emerald colored eyes that glimmered in the shining light of the restaurant. Everyone turned to look at the shapely form and plump, swiveling hips that strolled across the floor. The famous movie star, Shine Richmond had arrived. In unison, her muzzle turned into a bright, beaming smile while Sparkle's ears folded back in disgust.

"SPARKY!" She called in a boisterous holler that forced the fur on the back of Spark's next to raise. The gorgeous wolf trotted happily along through the restaurant, before wrapping her arms around her older sibling in a firm, cinematic hug.

"Shine." Sparkle mumbled, her voice peppered with strained irritability while the shorter wolf held her tightly.

"What's wrong sweetie? You seem grumpier than usual. Didn't you get any alcohol tonight, or couldn't you afford feed your little addiction?" Shine asked sweetly. Sparkle forced a smile and removed herself from Shine's grasp with a twist of her form.

"You'll be happy to know, that this year's end marks an ongoing tradition, in which every time I see you, I want to set you on fire." Spark hissed quietly before Shine offered the wolf a playful nudge in her ribs.

"Aww, you're just as clever as always sis! Hey, you should be a writer for Hollywood! It'd be just the same as the little scripts you write for your bar, only someone would actually care!" Shine said with a bright beaming smile.

"Awwww that's so sweet. I'd love to unload a clip into you." Sparkle said as sweetly as possible, her lips curled up into a fearsome sneer. Shine's smile only lasted a few moments before her brain had registered what was said to her. She frowned, tilting her head slightly to one side in a manor most canine.

"Wait...what? Wait...a clip? You mean like...from a gun?" She growled. Spark gave her head a very enthusiastic nod.

"Right into your skull!" She beamed. Shine's muzzle twisted from its soft, pretty smile to a vicious, angry sneer, but before she could counter the lash from her siblings tongue, Sugar gave an attention grasping cough.

"Sit, both of you. Now, our male siblings could not be reached this year. Strider is in Mexico working on some huge contract and Strafe is in Las Vegas handling some case based on fraud. So tonight it will be just us girls. Spark, Shine. TRY and get along, it's the New Year. It time to put our past differences behind us and look towards the future. We should count our blessings that we are all still together and a family and it is time we start acting like it. Spark, it is good that you are resolving to quit drinking this year." Sugar explained before Spark frowned and shook her head.

"The fuck did I say that? I distinctly remember promising you I wouldn't drink tonight, but when the fuck did I mention I was not going to drink for the entire year?!" She spit. Sugar sighed softly and pulled her glasses from her face to caress the bridge of her nose with a choice set of fingertips. This was going to be harder then she had previously anticipated.

"I don't think it's an unreasonable goal and certainly a good one for you to focus on." Sugar explained. Spark crossed her arms with a huff and gave an agitated flicker of her tail.

"You can't give someone else their New Year's resolution! That's just arrogant! But if that's the way we're gonna play, why don't you resolve to get someone to stuff your cunt so hard it knocks the stick outta your ass!" Spark hissed before Shine gave a tsk and took a seat at the other side of the table.

"I agree with Spark." She said quietly too which the other two siblings turned and looked at her wide eyed.

"What?" They asked in unison. Shine shook her head quietly and offered a roll of her shoulders, as if preparing herself for some incoming barrage.

"Well normally I don't, but she's right. You've gone far to long without a peenie in you. You're a Shadowpaw. We're supposed to be good at sex! It's what we do!" She exclaimed. Both Sugar and Sparkle rolled their eyes.

"Some of us do it far TOO well." Spark snorted while Shine growled and turned towards her sister with a glint of rage twinkling in her eyes.

"And this is from the girl who runs a sex club!?" Shine spat. Spark took a deep breath, reaching up to rub the bridge of her nose, in a vain attempt to ease the stress headache that had been forming since her younger sister had arrived. A habit she picked up from Sugar, no doubt.

"Says the girl who slept with each of her directors for the parts she plays in the movies she's in.

"Sparkle grumbled. Shine gasped, clutching her chest as if she'd been shot point blank before she recovered and leaned in close, her voice filled with venom.

"I gained every one of those parts fair and square you bitch!" Shine protested, spitting each word towards Spark as if they were lit with the flames of her rage. Spark rolled her eyes with a snort and felt the smallest tingle of satisfaction gained from forcing her sister to curse at her.

"Oh please. Do you honestly think any one of those roles you received was because of your quote unquote acting talent? The only reason you ever starred in anything was because you know how to beg with your legs spread apart." Spark snapped. Shine gave a shuddering hiss, her fingers clenched so tightly her knuckles were turning white and her breathing was peppered with hot, ragged gasps.

"I have more acting talent in my whole body then you do in your little pinky!" Shine snarled. Spark rolled her eyes yet again, forcing down the bubbling mirth that was attempting to burst from her lips.

"See, that's what I'm talking about, you're a fucking moron." Spark explained.

"Come on Shine, go for the jugular!" Spice cheered quietly from a seat next to Sparkle. Spark's eyes widened and she turned her head sharply, looking over the very, very familiar wolf sitting next to her. She had emerald eyes as well and facial features so close to Sparkle's it was like looking into a mirror. The only difference was instead of spiked, raven black hair, this girl had spiked, crimson hair that was styled up and to the back of her head. Spice Shadowpaw was Sparkle's twin sister and owned a quiet indie music shop downtown... so she'd have most everyone believe. In reality, she was a well trained martial artist whom worked for a special branch of the government. For now, however, she was smiling warmly at her siblings in question and quietly urging Shine to pick up the knife folded in her napkin.

"So, what, you're a ninja now? Just, poof, you're in the seat?" Spark asked with a quiet, knowing grin. Spice rolled her shoulders back, leaning in the chair, while she smoothed out her strapless dress- the same color crimson that was her hair.

"I spent hours on the internet today watching 'Ask a Ninja.' Behold the fruits of my labors. SO! I didn't miss the blood yet, did I? There will be blood, right? Listening to you two together is fuckin' awesome!" Spice grinned sharply. Spark laughed quietly and shook her head.

"No, no, there isn't any blood. We're being nice to each other tonight, since it's the New Year and all. Sugar's idea." Spark explains, tossing a set of fingers at the wolf on the other side of the table.

"Kill joy." Spice hissed, turning to look at Sugar, who gave a quiet groan of irritation. The night was already wearing on her nerves and now that they had the entire female side of siblings at the table, she was certain it was going to get worse before it got better.

"Is it really so difficult for all of us to just sit down and enjoy a meal together?" She huffed quietly. Shine shook her head and gave Spark a sharp jab in the ribs.

"Well, maybe if any of us actually cared about each other. Sparksie, honey, do you love me?" Shine asked sweetly. Spark turned to regard her sister with a quiet growl, before glancing towards Sugar.

"First of all, don't call me "Sparksie". Secondly, that's a silly question Shine. I hate the fuck out of you."Spark snarled, while Shine gestured in the air with a free paw.

"See! There ya go, no family get together! You guys are mormons." Shine huffed.

"I think you mean morons." Spice explained.

"Don't correct her. We're mormons now." Spark snickered.

"Shine, don't egg Spark on, Spark, stop being mean!" Sugar huffed, her anger rising while she desperately tried to grasp at the peace quickly ebbing away from the table.

"Why don't you tell her to stop being a filthy bitch while she's at it. "Shine snarled.

"We're filthy mormons." Said Spice.

"Bitch, I will fill your bed with scorpions." Spark snarled towards Shine, who responded with a single fingered salute.

"Sisters!" Sugar growled, trying to grasp the situation.

"Scorpions? That's kind of a lavish way to kill someone." Spice murmured.

"Only the best for my sister." Sparkle explained. Shine gave another snarl and turned towards Spark, shaking her head.

"Least I don't walk with a limp. "She snapped.

"Least I don't have as many STDs as I do letters in my name." Spark retorted.

"Ooooh, sick burn! Shine, your ball!" Spice giggled.

"I have someone to drive me around in a LIMO! I don't have any SUVS!"

"STDS not SUVs. How you haven't suffocated under the weight of your own stupidity is a medical mystery that will never be solved by science." Spark growled.

"Spark with the sharp tongue turn around and TOUCHDOWN! The crowd goes wild!" Spice snickered.

"Fuck you Spice!" Shine snapped, pointing a finger towards Spice, her eyes narrowing at the twin girls sitting next to each other. Spice gave a growl and reached out in a flash, grasping Shine's finger and pointing it away from her.

"I know you didn't just say that to ME! I was just having fun, ain't no need to get snippy, you're fighting with Sparky, just remember that." She snapped. Shine gave a ragged growl, the fur on the back of her neck standing on end.

"Can't even tell you two apart! I'd say it'd be a problem for your boyfriends, but, oh, wait, you don't have any. Spark's such a dyke she could stop a flood, and Spice is so butch she could work in a steel mill and nobody would notice! "Shine spat the words like venom. The two girls glanced at each other for half a second, before Spice stood up, her muscles tensed and ready to make the verbal assault a physical one.

"SIBLINGS PLEASE!" Sugar hollered, turning many of the heads in the restaurant towards their little table. This was before a sharp sounded cough grabbed everyone's attention. The cheetah was back, standing next to the table, glaring at the four girls with a disdainful eye. The girls all glanced at one and other then turned towards the cheetah expectantly.

"Would you ladies please calm down. You are disturbing out other patrons, and-

"FUCK! OFF!" The girls cried in absolute unison, even Sugar's normally quiet voice rising to a feverish pitch of irritation. The waiter's eyes widened a moment before he gave a snort and turned sharply on his heel to pad away with a snort. The girls looked at each other quietly, before Spice's lips slowly twisted into a mirthful smirk and a quiet school girl giggle slipped free from Shine's muzzle. Suddenly all of them were laughing helplessly, falling into their seats, holding their bellies as laughter struck each and every one of them at the same time. Sugar gave a quiet smile, reaching a single set of fingers up to rub a tear from her eyes. Perhaps there was still hope for the night after all ...
