Night Three: Consequences, Part Three

Zander and Adriano managed to escape from the press with a perception filter, and to celebrate their new found freedom from Cortex, they went to a little unknown noddle shop located in between an alley way. A bit odd but the best they could manage with the press going all over the city attempting to gain info.

"This is delicious and I haven't felt the taste of such real food in three days." Adriano said as he slurped the noodles. Zander wondered if it really had been that long, he couldn't tell had much time had passed before he woke up at his computer desk but he knew it couldn't have been from the night to the day.

If he thought about how long it would have taken to replace a worker and implant the memories and a basic program into his mind.

"Oh god." Zander said as some noodles fell out of his month, and back into his cup. Adriano used his chop sticks and folded the noodles back into Zander's cup before they fell onto the table. The man behind the counter worked at chopping the noodles and boiling them in the broth.

"What, what's wrong?" Adriano said as he realized that something could have been happening. Zander laughed a bit as he put his noodles against the counter and put his hand on Adriano's shoulders. "What is the world going to end, did we forget something."

"No, it's worse I forgot Rolando and Rocco." Zander said as he laughed, realizing that the two were stuck in the basement in the building. Given the floor was destroyed and there was a hole out they'd be fine. Behind them a glow came off from the wall adjacent to them.

Hearing the sound of jumbled cooking equipment, Zander and Adriano turned their heads towards the glowing light. A blue glowing vortex on the alley wall, they stared into it and it was like it led into a different world.

Before they could react, two people, two sharks jumped out. One looked familiar to Koji in his dreams and the other was large and suddenly formed a baseball bat in his hand. The vortex disappeared.

"Now then Benji, the Kagens have returned and you did this; I have you alone again let's dance!" The two sharks, threw each other against the walls of the alley as one, the one seemed to be known as Benji pushed the other shark up against the wall. Quite impressively he held up the shark with one hand and grabbed the Baseball bat.

The shark glowed and released a light like energy. Benji was knocked against the counter and did a flip over the counter. Koji smiled as he jumped over the counter, the noddle man ran away out of the shop as he fled from the two fighting sharks. The one that glowed with light energy, put his hand on the hot energy and instead of getting his hand burned instead he glowed with a red energy.

Koji put his hands together and fired, a stream of fire blasted out from his palms and at Benji. The shark quickly worked, switching his baseball bat out and forming a shield on his arm. The shark blocked the fire and even as the metal started to drip on the ground he stood still.

Zander watched in silence watching the two fight as if it was some sort of Battle Theater taking place. Yet he could feel the tension in the air, both of them fighting as they moved behind the counter. The shield melted and Zander heard the sound of the shark's skin burning. Quickly Benji moved out of the way of the fire and seeming made the shield disappear into thin air.

"Ok, you've got me; can't use any of my masks but I figure that you still might be a good fighter; all this energy around took bad you can't concentrate it on your body; push yourself forward with superspeed." Benji said as he instead formed a sword in his hand and jumped forward, doing a rolling in the air. He pulled out of it and slashed down on Koji.

Koji dodged out of the way of the sword and moved to the right of Benji. Zander and Adriano sipped on their noodles and broth as they watched the battle happing in front of them. The battle was amazing; it was like watching two masters fighting in front of them.

Koji grabbed the sword and quickly applied heat to it; melting the tip down to liquid metal and forcing the rest of the sword to return back into a state of energy, returning back to Benji. The shark quickly thought of another deal and lunged himself over the counter, he summoned something as his hands glowed and he managed to stick on the wall.

Benji jumped to the other side and started to climb up the wall and towards the roof. Koji meanwhile didn't even seem to notice the two sitting down and watching their battle. He jumped over the counter, and instead fired up in the air with his fire. Applying energy downwards, he trusted himself up into the air with his fire.

Zander and Adriano put their noodles down and took the easy way up; grabbing onto the near-by fire escape they jumped up onto the metal structure. Zander making sure that his human boyfriend could follow. He started to climb up to the top of the roof top and wanted to see where this battle would go.

Poking his head over to the top, the two were engaging in hand to hand combat on the rooftop. Koji threw Benji against the ground and nearly sent the summoning shark off the edge of the building. The shark held onto the edge and before Koji could stamp on his feet, he performed another amazing feat of strength and pulled himself into the air.

"Come on Koji it's going to take a bit more effort to get me off this building than that, use something a little more diverse. Come on you're going to need to do something a bit better than that in order to protect your burning city." Benji said as Adriano and Zander stood on the top of the fire escape, both viewing the battle from what seemed to be a safe distance. As they kept looking at the battle, Koji's face that seemed to have struck a specific nerve.

"Oh trust me; if you are immortal then I will make sure that you spend more time in hell then the living world." Koji said as he put his hand against the ground and the top of the roof around his hand glowed. Material from the roof top was dragged up into his hand and then seemingly reformed into first a sword and then a flaming sword.

"Oh look at that. Little shark boy over here can't take a little criticism, come on I thought you were revered in multiple universes; you are a god to multiple people and you my creator. Keep yourself useful if you want me to continue to believe in you and all your actions." Benji said as he decided to play the god card that he kept up his sleeve for a while. Koji smiled and formed another sword, deciding to duel wield. Benji responded by forming the two Katanas that he had used earlier.

Both of the shark's clashed, traditional sword made out untraditional material against untraditional katanas made out of traditional metal. The swords flung at each other and knocked each other back as the two fought for control in the battle, and finally Benji sensed an opportunity.

Crossing his arms, he stood tall over Koji as he kept the roof swords between his katanas. He held his position and didn't flinch as he walked forward, and pushed Koji against the ground. The immortal shark put his feet against Koji's as he held the shark down.

Quickly he acted and sliced his swords through the roof material and trapped the shark's roof swords back onto the roof. Benji smiled as he kept Koji on edge, neither of them having access to weapons. Benji punched Koji as he kept the shark between the roof and hard place.

Koji groaned as he felt his face punched. He tried to think of an idea to get him away from Benji. He struggled with his hands but Benji kept them down with the way his swords were sliced into the roof. He tried to shift his feet but found they wouldn't move.

"So then I forgave you for creating me, for making every event that lead up to Martin's death but that wound is fresh and open so let's talk about that. What should I kill you with?" Benji asked as he put his hand forward, suggesting he could summon a third weapon to the battlefield.

"Stop!"

Zander had enough and needed to know what they were talking about. He walked up to the roof and put his hand forward. He felt a tiny wave of energy exit from his body and knew they might be able to identify him. Benji and Koji turned towards Zander and looked at the snow leopard. They felt it; it was the energy from a Kagen. They felt the energy from a Kagen; they both looked at each other and at the snow leopard with six pronged beetle on his back.

Rolando and Rocco looked forward as the four people appeared from a seaming rift in the building. The cortex building was invaded by two sharks and two wolves. The rift behind them closes and shark wobbled a bit as he stood with his arms out to regain his balance.

"Careful brother, you just punctured through another universe; conserve your energy you might have to do it again and then I promise we might be able to find you an additional source of energy." Twilight said as he grabbed Bright, while he did care he wanted to feel all the energy that was coming off Bright after his universe shift.

"Twilight, we seemed to have lost Koji and Benji; you don't think it would be possible... do you?" Eric asked.

"That their fighting knocked them off course, off course it would. They might be a mile away but they are definitely in this universe, so they'll find us or we'll find them." Twilight said as he looked forward and saw the two outsiders standing before them. "Well then, hello there you guys look confused we might be able to explain."

Looking above him Twilight took a look at the massive hole in the ceiling.

"Well then, looks like we found the Outsider group of this universe, looks like we're being gathered together, well best to make yourselves useful and step into the cage behind you." Twilight said as they were returned to the cage that Zander found himself in before. The shark who seemed to be the leader had glowing hands; Rolando could see the raw energy coming off his fingers.

"So then Outsiders of this universe, tell us about yourself. We'd like some names here and whoever is your leader. There is never two to a group, especially in a city like this; where are we Washington DC?" Isen said as he stepped forward, using his powers to manipulate the bars and close the Outsiders in. He took a look up above and saw the hole in the ceiling; judging by the buildings and the sound of helicopters he made a guess.

"Well you guessed correctly, we're in the good capital. Now I'm Rocco and he is Rolando. I'm the Dragon that produces oil continuously and he is the immortal Komodo dragon. You're in the Cortex Building and we're the Outsiders of Washington DC, he's my leader and trust me we're powerful enough to protect this city on our own." Rocco said as he extended his flamethrowers and let a burst of blue flames out.

"So then a Kagen, I should have guessed we'd find our way into a universe with another Kagen. I don't remember a snow leopard Kagen but maybe the rules are different in this universe." Koji said as he felt Benji loosen up on his feet; with that he pushed the immortal shark off his body and stood up, being able to get a good look at the Kagen.

"I'm not a Kagen, I'm an Energybeetle. And you are Koji." Zander said shaking as he tried to be brave and be able to explain himself. He sent out another wave of energy hoping that they'd be able to figure out who else was in his system. Koji was the name of the shark inside his own energy beetle, Zander could only hope that the shark would be able to explain who he was.

"You're an Energywalker as well, a Kagen and an Energywalker in one body. I know is the three moon universe." Koji said as he remembered which events lead to this universe and remembered that Twilight was a hippie. He shivered remembering Twilight with that hair and wondered if that was where Bright got his similar habits from.

"Yes, that is correct; three moons but are you universe travelers?" Zander asked, walking forward and making sure that both of them could both see his energy beetle as he kept it full view of them. Benji looked at the energy beetle and saw nothing but Koji as an Energywalker saw it as the culmination of everything he once worked to do, to have peace with the Kagens and to avoid a universe splattered with Kagen and Energywalker blood.

"Kind of, and that is a combination of a Kagen and Energywalker powers. So how is it like being immortal, to have massive energy production centers with only a tiny shiny beetle on your back keeping you alive?" Koji asked as he walked towards Zander, skipping the all top traditional hand shake and instead leaning down and examining the beetle.

"Well it's fine. I have all the powers, flight, energy manipulation, and the good old immortality game. But it seems to be able to make more energy than I can use sometimes." Zander said as he remembered his time in the Cortex's buildings temporary prison, and how his energybeetle forcefully revealed itself to be on his back.

"Interesting, tell me does this hurt?" Koji asked as he put his fist up to the beetle's metallic like skin and started to knock. There was something akin to a vibration coming from the beetle. Koji looked at it and tried to divertive how much the fusion of Kagen and Energywalker technology could produce in terms of energy and cooperation.

"No, it just feels strange. Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Zander asked as Koji put his ears against the energybeetles's wings and tried to make a connection with the Kagen and the Energywalker inside. He felt a connection form between him and Zander's mind and with that he heard the two inside.

"Why hello Koji, quite a different universe we have here." Koji was immediately as he heard Twilight's voice before he realized that the Kagen component was Twilight from this universe. It always involved them, always a Kagen.

"Yes, you might say that in your universe I would have reincarnated to be you as well." Also coming from the energybeetle was his voice. Koji's face soured of course the first person they meet from this universe would be the person who'd probably have the most powerful energybeetle on his back.

"Yep, Benji we're being forced together by some sort of force, I think we might be better if we stop this fighting... again." Koji said as he turned towards Benji and already the other shark seemed to forget about him focusing instead on looking over the city. "I'll take that as a yes."

"Ok, so what are you going to do; did you come here to recruit me for some sort of mission or do you need my infinite energy for some sort of project?" Zander said as he reactivated his Energybeetle's perception filter and hid the beetle.

"Not entirely, but I have an idea. We're going to solve all of our problems." Benji said as he poked into the conversation.

...

Rickston Frame sat down in his set as he sipped a cup of tea, everything was going so perfectly. He was in his helicopter escaping the Cortex Building before the Outsiders that remained there figured out who and where he was and decided to come and get him. Flying over the large burned area, he looked below him and laughed knowing how much damage he would cause to the Outsiders in the coming months.

He could see if all, their every possible move mapped out in front of it all he had to do was carefully follow the path and make sure that he gave them the most emotional damage he could force on them. And then if he was luckily and he was more than luckily he be able to win and Project Dark Matter would be completed and the outsiders would be no more.

"Sir, we appear to have someone tracking us; please prepare for evasive movements." The pilot said to him over the intercom. Rickston placed his cup onto a magnetic holder and looked behind him. A second helicopter was following them, and in the front seat were two sharks and they seemed to smell blood in the water.

Something wasn't right; this wasn't supposed to happen this wasn't able to happen Rickston told himself as he watched the helicopter. He could see no mention of a helicopter in his mind and if he should have especially tonight with the full moon increasing his powers. The helicopter started to spin its gatling gun and quickly a stream of bullets started to fire at them. That was when evasive maneuvers started; as the stream of bullets flew at them Rickston felt the helicopter spin upwards and away.

...

"Who the hell in their right mind puts gatling guns on a transportation helicopter?" Koji yelled as he kept the joystick stable in his hands and for what would be his first time he was flying a helicopter with relative ease. He followed Rickston's helicopter with the one, shall we say, they "borrowed" from the top of the cortex building. Finding Rickston's transport was easy as they didn't even have identity protect on his vehicle and accessing his securities team transport files was a simple as hitting a button.

"Someone like Rickston, don't question it keep the copter stable, let's see if he puts as much protection on his files as his helicopters." Zander said as he jumped out the entrance. The snow leopard crossed his arms as he descended, Adriano looked below in worry. An orange glow blocked Zander and suddenly his high energy form appeared again.

His form raged with energy, an orange polygonal body covering his original body like a suit of armor. Two energy wings extended from his back and Zander took flight as he left a trail of orange energy behind him. Placing his googles over his eyes, he kept track of Rickston's helicopter. Koji stopped firing the gatling gun and instead gave Zander time to focus.

Rickston looked around worried, that he was being approached. If they could use a minigun on his helicopter then he could use something else on theirs. He looked behind him to where his guards would normally sit. He was regretting not bringing them with him, maybe he had trusted to much in his powers. Everything told him his powers were always right but today they were, well wrong.

Rickston searched around the guard set and found the armory that was in each and every one of his helicopters. He picked up the AK-47 and its ammo, wasting no time he loaded the ammo into the gun and poked his head out and looked behind. He took aim and fired at Zander, he saw the Outsider have parts of his energy shield knocked off him but he still approached.

"Evasive maneuvers; use all of them and take risk, just get me as far away as possible from that fucking thing!" Rickston yelled at his pilot. The helicopter did a mid-air turned and started to approach the mountain range that separated the badlands and the forests of Virginia. He could see an opening in a valley and knew if they could get through that they'd be home free.

"How do I turn like that?" Koji asked as he tried to follow Rickston but found the plane's avionic controls lock up on him, he knew that he'd have to slow down in order to make due chase. He watched, Zander managed to make the turn and was approaching Rickston's craft, he'd be able to catch up with the helicopter.

Zander flew through the air and let his energy suit deflect the bullets. Flying forward, the snow leopard approached the helicopter with relative ease. He grabbed the edge of the helicopter and pulled himself in, Rickston looking at him in fear and moving over trying to avoid touching the leopard.

Zander adjusted his scarf and his googles as he folded in his two massive energy wings. Standing before Rickston, he looked around the helicopter and saw the nervous pilot carefully making sure their flight would continue. Rickston had a face of fear, which was the stuff Zander lived for, he truly felt like a superhero when he saw Rickston's face.

"So then Rickston, well you have a few options. Firstly, I will need your cell phone." Zander said as he reached out, pulling back his energy barrier and revealing his hand. Rickston scrambled as he handed his mobile to Zander and the Energybeetle held it up to his face.

"Oh, you have no password. Now isn't that just a little stupid." Zander said as he slipped the phone into his pocket, creating a temporary void in his suit and placing the mobile through that. Zander smiled, he had complete control over the CEO and knew that he had the floor.

"How'd you know where I was, there was no possible way in the universe that you would have been able to be motivated enough to find me." Rickston said as he formed a horrifying grin, he knew his minutes were numbered and he looked forward at least the mountains would have been a good place to die.

"Well funny story about that, you really don't need to know but we are kind of in a Mutli-universal situation here, so you were right. Now then, secondly you're going to stand up." Zander said as his hands started to glow, Rickston looked wide eyed for a second and seemed to be making peace with himself.

"Thirdly, stand back to me and face the outsider world." Zander said as Rickston seemed to agree that his death was coming soon than later. Zander put his hand forward and wondered if he could do this, if he could kill this man that he knew would do horrible things but only abducted his boyfriend.

"Fourth, make peace with your gods." Zander decided for the good of this universe that he needed to do so and closing his eyes he fired. He heard Rickston screen as he was ejected out of the plane and crushed on the ground. He tried to ignore the sound of his death, he wasn't ready to face it.

Zander sighed and looked back, he knew that somehow someway this would come back to bite him. Putting his hand back towards the rear the plane, he blasted a hole in it and decided that he would let gravity alone decide for the pilot. Spreading his wings, he jumped out of the back as it was blow apart and he found the chasing Helicopter.

Zander knew that this had to be done and that in the end Rickston's death would make the world a better place in the end. He landed on the ground, finding a place away from Rickston's charred corpse and with an energy blast into the air he signaled to helicopter to land.

Zander parted with his energy form on the ground, knowing that he could make the energy back up quickly and that maybe it would held some life grow where he stood. He reached into his pocket and pulled out Rickston's phone, he felt better almost in a paradoxical way, by feeling sad he at least knew he was human.

The helicopter landed and Adriano ran out hugging him as they both closed their eyes and tried not to think about what they were doing. It was strange by making their plans so quickly it didn't feel right. Maybe if he waited a while Rickston would have done something that would have forced his hand, and he would have to die, but now it was his burden to only speculate.

"It's over, it's all over now; only a few threads left to tie." Zander said seemingly relieved and horrified with everything that they had done. He picked up Adriano and spun him around, happy that they might have brought peace to this world. At least peace for the world would be a wonderful consequence if he only had to bear one death.

"Good, let me see his phone and I'll see all the information we've haven't seen or figured out. And we'll get to the bottom of who is leading the RAF and how we can destroy them." Adriano said as he reached towards Zander's pocket and tried to grab the cell phone. Zander pulled away and didn't allow Adriano to grab.

"Hey careful." Zander said as he pulled the phone out of his pocket and handed it to his boyfriend. Adriano smiled as he pulled his own phone out and connected them together with a cable running from his phone. The human clicked the interface of the phone and absorbed the information from Rickston's phone.

"No, that's impossible they found him, they actually know where he is." Adriano said as his face lit up and he looked down at the information. Zander turned towards him wondering what his boyfriend had found on Rickston's phone.

"What?"

"They know where Antonio is, they captured him. He's in a facility, and we can get him and save him. Rocco will be so happy." Adriano said as he quickly turned around and ran back into the helicopter. Zander took a breath and realized that everything was turning back happy, everything was turning over.

"Well then Rickston, I guess this is where it ends your empire falls now. The age of the Outsiders begins today, enjoy heaven or hell." Zander said as he took a breath and decided to close the page on this part of life and turn to the next page.

...

Elliot, Blake, Alex and Nikolai were all left alone in the base, and right outside the door was the crown of worst people to be caught with, Dawn; the Kagen god of Ego and fire, fire too. And thus they huddled together as they wondered who would have the powers to counter act him. Radiation wouldn't hurt a Kagen god who could probably absorb it, and fire was a linear combustion.

"Here's Dawny!" The Kagen dragon yelled as the down was melted down and he walked through the molten metal like it was nothing. He raised his hands, and two balls of fire formed in his hands. Wasting no time, Nikolai put his wings out and blasted ice forward. Dawn countered spreading out his wings and throwing fire ahead.

Water melted onto the floor as the Kagen God and the Outsider went head to head with each other. Dawn laughed and simply increased the size of his beams, as if he was being put to the test Nikolai followed suit matching his fire nearly evenly. Perhaps the most confused out of the group was Nikolai himself who was wondering where he was getting this power from.

"Ok, you've got class and talent kid but let us see if you can match my entire power!" Dawn yelled as he pulled back his hands and formed blue fire. Nikolai matched and forming blue ice. Dawn cursed Nikolai as they both threw their beams together and even while clashing at full power the Outsider and the Kagen seemed simply to be matched in power.

Dawn was pissed at this; he had never met one Kagen or one superhero who could match his raw fire ability. Luckily he didn't start foaming at the mouth as he began to see cracks. Nikolai started to sweat; he was exhausting him by matching. And that's when Dawn knew that if he kept the heat constant instead of trying to dangerously push himself then he would come out on top.

And then Nikolai ran out of power, he burned fully and like the brightest star he burned out the quickest. His ice stopped and the torrent of fire came to him, he was knocked back and then Dawn stopped. The Kagen god figured he might have been a little too exciting and the Outsiders in front of him might have some use.

"Well then, you have nothing else shame I was looking forward to a fight of this caliber for a while. Shame Koji and Twilight are already in the Kagen dimension already, well I guess we'll have to meet up with them." Dawn rummaged through his pocket and pulled out what he was looking for. Pulling it up he showed them the tiniest fragment of the black book.

Dawn didn't wait for them to respond or to react, instead he just swiped his hand and the black book did its trick. A black ball of energy swirled out from the center and engulfed half the base in its light. And then in the magical five of them disappeared.

...

"Perhaps it was strange that somehow Cortex managed to capture Antonio instead of the RAF, I guess a massive time event would be noticeable." Zander said as he looked through the files of Rickston, taking notice of the one that detailed where Antonio was being kept.

"Not really, I think according to these files Cortex caught him and was offering Antonio after they realized they might have protection or make the RAF play a high price in there time of need. After we defeated them on the moon, they've been dividing and now they can barely stand." Adriano said as he read the next file, Cortex's personal file on the RAF. All the dirty information, everything that it knew everything they knew.

The helicopter started to land and Basil placed it down on the ground with ease as he unlocked the side doors and let Adriano and Zander out. The snow leopard and his boyfriend walked out onto the grassy lands of Virginia and looked forward. In front of them was a concrete box built into the mountain, the ordinary trekker wouldn't have any reason to suspect this as anything more than an electrical substation.

Zander walked forward and put his hand on the door. When it didn't open to his will, his hand glowed and more in line with his will it opened. Placing the crumbled pieces of door lock and knob on the ground, Zander held open the door and walked in. The box was about as long and wide as he would have excepted it to be, as they entered motion detectors caught them and turned on a series of lights in the concrete mountain box. Looking forward in a cylinder, floating in a jar of water there he was.

"Well Antonio, welcome back to civilization; Rocco's going to have a bunch fun with you."

As it seemed six years had taken its effect on Antonio. Before it seemed the man was immortal but now it seemed that he was mortal. The boy once barely as tall as Zander's stomach was now as taller or maybe taller than he was. His military coat seemed to fit now and he had a very handsome face, or at least that's what Zander would say.

"Wow he's hot." Adriano said as Zander looked over and beat him to the punch. Zander wasted no time and grabbed his boyfriend and pulled him into a kiss, Antonio woke up and knocked on his glass interrupting them.

...

As the evacuated Cortex building self-destructed, its employees outside and looking in horror as a convincing terrorist attack destroyed the tower. Adriano looked back as the helicopter landed and the Outsiders arrived. Benji and Koji walked out satisfied with their job well done, and watched as the rest of the Outsiders walked out.

"Ah, Rolando, Rocco its glorious we have a few new members and all our problems are gone." Zander said as he looked up as the remains of the dark project collapsed and he knew that it was all over. Looking up as the building imploded, he knew that no one would be hurt, the building collapsed inwards and he was glad to see the building go.

"Where the hell have you been?" Rolando asked as he quickly ran out of the building, with Rocco, Twilight, Bright and Isen. Zander clicked a few buttons and generated a perception filter over them as they meet on the opposite sidewalk.

"Who the hell is that?" Rocco said as he looked at the last body to come out of the helicopter. Zander smiled as he saw Rocco gasp, his eyes where engulfed as he saw Antonio walk out of the helicopter. The physic child finally had his mask off and the shark stood out in the sun. As he saw the mask around his neck Rocco realized that the child had grown up.

Running as if a meadow had separated them, Antonio embraced Rocco and then kissed. Zander looked over to Adriano as they watched the two and Twilight looked at Koji. Zander grabbed Adriano and Twilight grabbed Koji as the lovers all embraced, glad to be alive and their ordeals finally over. Isen glanced over to Bright.

"No." The shark quickly said shutting down the white wolf's attempt to match. And eventually all the love and celebration ended as they all pulled away from each other.

"Ok, that was amazing but we still have a few plans we need to accomplish. Bright got enough to get back?" Koji asked as he pulled away from Twilight and looked at his Kagen shark. Twilight nodded and they put themselves in serious mode, love and embrace would come later. Everyone else did the same and they stayed focused. "Ok, Zander bring who you need we'll be waiting."

"Ok, Rocco, and Antonio you two are going to stay here. Enjoy yourselves you two have been through enough." Zander said as he so wished he could have said that to himself and Adriano.

"Ok!" Rocco said as he and Antonio embraced again the psychic shark giving a thumb up as they walked away and presumably towards some sort of private room.

"Adriano you need to stay as well." Zander could feel his boyfriend's heart break in that moment, everything he did to stand out all he had with the Dark Energy was gone.

"But I can do this, I know I can this is what's it's been leading up too." Adriano said as Zander forced himself to look away, he couldn't say no to that face and he needed to say no, no matter how much it broke their heart.

"I know but we don't know if your powers will work in their universe and it breaks my heart to deny your super side but this is too big a jumping platform, I love you and I want to protect you." Zander said as he pulled himself into Adriano and gave him one more kiss. "Don't say goodbye, I will be back."

And with that Zander held in tears as he turned around and faced Rolando, the immortal Komodo Dragon, powers worked in any time, any place and the only one he didn't have to worry about.

"Let's go."

Koji and Benji jumped out, followed by Blake and Isen, and then Zander and Rolando. The base was partly on fire and Koji half expected that. The shark ran over to the window and he sighed.

"Los Vegas; she's damaged but the Kagens have left." Koji said as he looked over to Twilight and Bright who were feeling a point on the ground and had worried looks on their faces. "No do not tell me."

"Dawn left a message encoded in the energy, he wants to know who Nikolai is. He promises to end all of this when he finds out." Twilight said as Koji realized that they had all their friends. Well at least Benji wasn't attempting to strangle him.
