School is out and Summer begins in Cape Suzette
School has just ended and the long Summer vacation has started! Kit Cloudkicker Cunningham was the first to leave the school building.t was a hot day. Kit unbuttoned his shirt showing his small muscular chest. He wanted to take off his shirt all day. Summer meant swimming, fishing, the beach, bikinis, baseball and sleeping late."Now don't lose your shirt," Rebecca told Kit "Don't take it off and leave it somewhere." He remembered his mom's word that morning at breakfast. "Come right home after school," she said. Kit started to walked home. He said good-bye to his friends. Ernie had also taken off his shirt but his chest was not as muscular as Kit's, Ernie had a small chest and a skinny body. "Don't forget the pool party tomorrow," Ernie said. Kit laughed "I won't I've been looking forward it all week," he said high fiving his friend.
"And remember," Teddy said "You promised to show us that new dive of yours." Teddy took his shirt off, He was more muscular than kit but Teddy was 14. Kit was 13 and still looked small in comparison. "Oh you'll see it all right," Kit said with a giggle.
The friends left the school, Kit walked down to the park where some boys were playing soccer. The boys were playing shirts vs. skins"You want to join us?" one of the shirtless boys yelled to Kit. "We need another player," Kit took off his shirt and left it on the grass. he joined the other bare chested boys and played until sunset. "It's getting late and I have to get home," Kit said. "Kit waved good-bye to the boys. He promised to play with them again soon. Kit stopped at the ice cream truck and bought a Frosty Pep with the change leftover from lunch. He was sweaty and hot.
Kit walked on the beach and decided to wade into the water to cool off. He dropped his backpack and went into the surf. The boy smiled. The water was so cool, he continued into the calm water to the point where his shorts became wet. "Mom's not gonna like this," he said holding the bottom of his shorts. "But since my shorts are already wet, it can't hurt to go in deeper."
Kit waded up to his chest then he dove underwater, Kit was the best swimmer in school. Kit loved to swim almost as much as he loved to fly. It felt like flying when he swam underwater. He swam passed tropical fish and a coral reef. He swam to the surface, Kit floated on his back feeling the warm sun on his bare chest. Kit swam out to the buoy. "Wow I really went out far," The tide started to come in, Kit had to swim against the water which was trying to take him farther out to sea. Kit swam parallel to the current. A small wave brought him safely back to the beach. Kit waded out of the water Kit shook the water off his fur like a dog. His chest muscles were clearly visible through his wet fur. His nipples were also visible which embarrassed the boy. He picked up his wet backpack and walked along the beach.
Kit stopped for a minute to look at a cute girl in a bikini lying on the beach watching the sun go down behind the cliffs. "Can I sit with you?" he asked the girl. She looked him over "Anytime," she giggled admiring Kit's chest. He stayed until the sun was almost out of sight, Kit asked for her phone number. "Cape Suzette 3247," she whispered in his ear "Call me tomorrow."
Kit jumped for joy "YAHOO!" he yelled. Kit walked home from the beach and came home after dark.
Rebecca only had one thing to ask her adopted son "Where is your shirt?"
