Kit is in real danger this time
It was now 3:00 and school had just ended for the day. Kit Cloudkicker Cunningham left the building with his Friends Teddy and Ernie as soon as the bell rang. "Hey Kit." Ernie said looking at his watch. "Hey Kit," Ernie said "You wanna come with us to the arcade?". Kit smiled "Id love to go but I'll have to met you later later," He said "I have to go home first." Kit high fived his friends. "OK kit see you there," The boys didn't notice the tall young man wearing a baseball cap and overcoat watching them and taking picture of the boys. Kit crossed the street and sat at the bus stop. He placed his blue backpack next to him. The bus was late as usual so he decided to do dome of his homework. The man watched the other boys leave with their parents. Teddy and Ernie got on the school bus.
The strange young man crossed the street and stood next to Kit. "Excuse me," he said "May I sit here?" Kit moved over to let the man sit. He was still doing his homework. The man touched Kit's thighs. "I was watching you today" the man said rubbing Kits legs . Kit looked at the man, his shirt was unbuttoned which was unusual in late April even in semi tropical Cape Suzette. The man had black fur with white fur covering his chest and stomach. "I like little boys who wear shorts." he said trying to put his hands under Kit's shorts. "Your a cute little boy." he said. "How old are you?"
"I'm 13," Kit said nervously. "Just the right age for me," the man said putting a hand under the boy's shirt. Kit slowly moved the man's hand off his bare leg. "Little boys should always wear short shorts," the man said lifting up Kit's shirt, He touched Kit's tummy. Kit was scared. The man said "I know you don't have a father," the man lifted Kit's shirt up and touched his chest. "I want you to come home with me and be my son." The man took Kit's shirt off and tickled the boys nipples. "You have a nice chest," the man said. Kit tried to move but couldn't. "Your chest is strong, you must work out," Kit tried to cover his chest "I swim a lot," he said."I like to swim too," he said "Have you ever gone skinny dipping?"
"No," Kit said. "Mom won't let me be naked." Kit was embarrassed "Stupid answer" Kit said to himself. "You'd love it," the man said. "Have you ever been naked?" the man asked Kit stuttered nervously "N-no never," Kit said.
The strange man tickled Kit's nipples which made the boy giggle. "You like that?" the man asked. He began to tickled his belly button. Kit tried very hard not to laugh. Kit fell off the bench laughing. "Come with me", the man asked holding out his hand to the boy. Kit stood up and quickly ran away scared, leaving his shirt and backpack behind "Come back here boy!" the man yelled. The man held Kit's shirt in his fist "I'll find you boy!" he yelled "your mine!"
Kit ran down the street and into an alley. He started to cry "What do I do now?" he asked himself. Kit shivered from fear. The boy covered his bare chest with his hands, "I feel so dirty," he said "I wish Baloo was still here."
Kit ran to the docks and an old wooden building with a sign which said Higher And Higher. Kit went into the building. Rebecca was surprised when she saw her adopted son "Kit, what happened to you?" she asked "And were is your shirt?" Kit's face was red and stained with tears, his clean brown fur was shaggy and sweaty. Kit was still shivering from the cold now more than fear. "Mom I have to tell you something,"
Kit told his mom everything about the strange man and what he did. "Kit, you did the right thing telling me," she said "None of this was your fault and I love you," Rebecca gave her son a kiss on his head. "Now go upstairs and get cleaned up," Rebecca said "And we'll go get your sister." Kit went upstairs to the bathroom. As soon as Rebecca heard the shower running, she sat down at her desk. But first I have an important call to make". Rebecca dialed the Cape Suzette operator.
"Hello get me the police."
