The Vore House of Klyneth: A Journey of Morsels

Chapter 1 - Prep Work

Ryuusin was a very large dragon hybrid, and a very large dragon had a very large appetite; when a dragon is that big and that hungry, there's not a whole lot anyone can do to stop them. At least this time, a potion had been gifted to this magenta-colored monster to ensure that he could not only eat, but do so safely without the untimely demise of his prey. Not victim, but prey.

Having leapt forward and away from Vinn down the path on three feet - the fourth holding the tiny vial of vore potion - Ryuusin quickly caught up to the two drunk patrons in the bar he'd been watching while Vinn went around to the others. He didn't know their names particularly well, though he'd heard Vinn speak it; his focus was more on the rumbling in his belly and the weakness that he felt due to his hunger.

As he slowed and kept pace with the naga and dragon/fox hybrid, he started to think about the details of the potion he held in his talon. He had been assured that it worked, and had been promised that it was safe, but he had nothing to go on that would prove such a claim. Still, the lizard had spoke with utter certainty, as though he had experience; as such, Ryuusin felt he could trust him. It also helped that word of the Vore House had spread all over the eastern continent in the preceding months. At least that's what he had to tell himself as he sidled up next to the two drunken predators that were slithering and walking down the path.

Montiga - a purple scaled naga, was keeping his head laying low near the ground as his muscles contracted and extended along the way, keeping pace with the taller, more nimble quadruped Krevaan. He was more like a demon or dragon fox, Ryuusin couldn't quite tell.

Before he spoke a word to the oblivious pair, he quickly threw his head back and gulped down the potion, tossing the vial aside into the forest that lined the cobblestone path. Almost instantly, he felt the rumble in his belly dissipate and weaken. His hunger was muted, but still there, as though he was midway through a meal, but still craving more. Before speaking, he tried to remember some of the things the naga and the fox-dragon had said in the bar.

"So, I hear you two were at the Vore House." Ryuusin stated; he didn't know much about it other than what Vinn had told him, so he was hoping the other two could fill in some details. Fun bit of exposition. Still, the simplicity of his comment made him want to slap his face in embarrassment. It's considered rude to talk to someone about something as intimate as that. What little he knew about the Vours House was that it was said to be a secretive establishment, where one can live out their fantasies. Asking about it would be akin to asking strangers about their experiences in the local brothels. Still, to his surprise, The fox-dragon answered with a gusto that Ryuusin wasn't expecting.

"Oh yeah. Went there, tried out for a job, and failed! Me! The mighty Krevaan! Failed at a job where I eat people! I even got eaten by some schlub dragon! Just about killed him once he spit me back out. He's lucky he was the one who got hired or I woulda snapped him up, without the potions!" he lowered his head as he walked down the path, growling and narrowing his eyes, showing his sharp-looking teeth.

"Sssshut up and ssstop whining! I was one of their first customers, and I ssstill didn't get a place! That snake Leera swallowed me up, had me in her belly for weeks before letting my slip my way out her back end." The naga crossed his arms over his chest as he slithered low to the ground. Ryuusin could barely see the side of his face, but could tell there was a bit of a grin. Montiga enjoyed it, even if he didn't like admitting it.

Ryuusin raised an eyebrow, curious to know more. "So, you say you were swallowed by a snake and by a dragon, and you're both here, fine?" he rubbed his own gently rumbling belly, his worries fading away slowly. A curl slid up the side of his maw as a single drop of saliva trickled out back of it.

Krevaan spoke up, recovering from his angry outburst from before. "Yeah, it's safe. They gave us some potions before our try-outs. Vinn took us around back, made us drink it, and wait about an hour before we could actually do the tryouts. Everyone who showed up got a free, complimentary potion to do so, in case they wanted to try being a pred. Still disappointed neither Montiga nor I got approved. Sadly, we must both return to our lives, but not before we have some fun in Yearnil!"

Montiga, the naga, added to Krevaan's woes. "The potions worked well, but I think Krevaan here is being a bit too sssalty. It's not like we can't return, and even if he won't admit it, it was fun while it lasssted! Besides, Vinn has potions, and he said that if we follow him to Yearnil and participate in his demonstration, we can have a month's worth of the ssstuff. One potion every three days!"

Ryuusin was taking this all in, enjoying their affirmations of the potion's effectiveness. As he was thinking about it, he noticed his hunger was still waning and he could feel the rumblings dissipate into nothingness. He still had an appetite, but was no longer ravenously hungry. An interesting combo to have with a potion that was supposed to enhance one's hunger and consumption. Still, the revelations and the comfort it offered had him wagging his many tails behind him, a sly grin slowly forming across his maw. "So you're saying it works?" He had to confirm one last time, even though they'd said a dozen times in rapid succession that the potions were the most reliable thing about that place.

Krevaan and Montiga both stopped in their tracks and looked up at him. "Yeah." they both said in unison.

"They wouldn't have much of a busssinesss model if it didn't" Montiga hissed with a smile on his face.

The fox-dragon nodded in agreement. "I imagine the clientele would have quickly dried up if every kinky bloke out there who had fantasies of being eaten actually got eaten. Without the aid of the potions, that'd be a one-way, single use fantasy. I couldn't imagine much repeat business. No, it's good, and I'd be happy to invest in what that lizard is offering, if the creators could properly keep up with demand." He let out a bit of a hiss, which showed a bit of ire towards the people running the Vore House.

The three of them all continued to walk down the path together in silence, not wanting to break the tension that had arisen thanks to Krevaan's subtly unpleasant jab. All eight of the patrons from the Jade Goblet were in a line, with The two gryphons ahead of Krevaan, Montiga, and Ryuusin, with Vinn, Adam, and Vasmeth taking up the back. All three of the groups were on the cobblestone pathway leading to the southern trade route towards Yearnil, together yet apart.

Ryuusin could tell Krevaan was still a little angry about his misfortune, so he tried a joke, to ease the tension. "So, if You eat Montiga, and I eat you, would that make it nesting noms?" He grinned a toothy grin, but was cut off by Krevaan's response.

"Nobody eats me. I'm at the top of the food chain!" He puffed out his chest and arched his back, making the hair on his spine stand on end. Montiga just swung his head around and flicked his tongue out a bit, laughing heartily.

Ryuusin winked at the naga and opened his mouth wide, hovering over Krevaan. "You sure about that? You look like a meal to me, and I could have sworn you said that the dragon there slurped you up like a delicious steak!"

Once the fox-dragon looked up to see the glistening, magenta maw opened wide over him, he yelped and sidestepped, eager to get away from the two of them. He'd already been made into prey once this week, he had absolutely no interest in allowing it to happen again, even if it was a massive magenta scaled dragon. "Hey, could you knock it off? Seriously, I just don't want to fuck around with open maws and teeth right now. I might have to retaliate if you bite me, and I can assure you that you do not want to fight me when I'm in that kind of mood." He snarled at the two of them, back arched and fur on end, back to the woods as he stared at the two predators.

Ryuusin's belly rumbled in response, coaxing a gulp from his maw. "Aw, come on, it's all in good fun, isn't it? I took some of Vinn's potion just there, I gotta see what it's like." He chuckled and glanced down at Montiga, smiling as he imagined the snakes many coils shifting over each other in his bellies. The imagined bulges matched up with the sensations of rumbling hunger, giving him a feeding response that he had to control himself to not succumb to.

After taking in a few long, deep breaths, Ryuusin was able to suppress his hunger. He knew that if he let his desires take over his actions, neither Krevaan nor Montiga would be safe around him. He was large enough that he could have pounced on either or both and finished them off without much resistance, but Vinn had been very clear that there's a no tolerance policy for people who abuse their potions to do cruel things to others.

Ryuusin wanted to stay on good terms with the others. He knew full well that, like the Vore House itself, more aggressive noms might lead to a lack of interest in repeat business or play.

"So anyway, do you guys ever plan on returning to Klyneth?" Ryuusin asked, trying to keep his mind occupied and off the thoughts of devouring the two of them.

Krevaan lowered his belly as he kept along the path, hissing and growling a bit. "I want to, I really do, but right now I'm just not happy with the way they are doing things. Progress on their expansion is going slowly, and despite putting in two separate auditions, they didn't accept me. Still, it would be a dream job. Drink potions, eat patrons. All day, every day. And get paid for it!"

"It's more than that, though." Montiga interrupted. "In my first ever audition, they gave me the full escort treatment. They hunted me, caressed me, and showed care for me every step of the way. Brothel or not, they really treated me like a lover. That was fantassstic." He hissed and smiled, tongue flicking out as he laid his chin to the ground, muscles propelling him across the stone of the pathway.

That thought got Ryuusin excited. He had never been to the Vore House, but having heard about it through the news in Yearnil and through these allies he'd made, he knew he wanted to visit.

For the time being, he was content to walk along with the like-minded fellows towards the city center where they would meet up with Vinn at the academy where he would be presenting the potions and doing vore-related demonstrations to a series of investors and academics. At least that's what Vinn had explained to Ryuusin when they were outside the Jade Goblet. Though he was more interested in the practical applications, he'd be happy to watch the demonstrations and look into the scientific and medical applications of such a unique potion concoction.

As fantasies swirled in Ryuusin's head, he heard a shout from behind as Vinn was running to catch up to the three of them. "Ryuu! Wait!" He called out, talons slapping and slashing at the stone as he waved his hand above his hand, trying to get his attention. Vasmeth and Adam were both behind him, clopping along the pathway at a steady, but still brisk pace.

Ryuusin, Montiga, and Krevaan all stopped and turned around. "What's up?" The large magenta dragon asked, one eyebrow raised as his tails each shifted and swayed around behind him.

"Don't eat anyone! Not yet!" Vinn warned as he took his final bounding steps towards them, eventually pausing to bend over and pant heavily, the satchel on his side dangling down near to the ground. He took in a few long, strained breaths before standing up straight and finishing his thought. "I gave you the wrong potion. I was gonna give you the instant noms potion, but you got the delayed one. Lasts a few days compared to a few hours, but takes about six or eight hours to properly take effect."

Ryuusin stared and blinked, licking the drool from the corner of his mouth before gulping heavily. "Uh, thanks for letting me know, I guess! I wasn't...I Wasn't going to do anything that wasn't welcome." His shifty eyes gave away his devious intentions.

Krevaan could see through his ruse and laughed out loud, rolling onto his back and cackling like a hyena. "Oh please, I could see you sizing me up! I could practically feel your breath on the nape of my neck, you deviant dragon. Don't lie to us, we're not dumb!"

Montiga kept slithering forward, slowly adding distance between the others and him, ignoring the raucous laughter coming from the red demon-fox. He kept casually glancing back, tugging the tip of his tail back up close to keep the two larger preds from nibbling on it. He wasn't in the mood to be anyone's meal, not today.

"Doesn't matter, the stuff I gave you was the wrong concoction. It'll take a few hours for it to be effective. that said, I am travelling to Yearnil, and there I will need a few volunteers. I'll give you another vial of the stuff for later if you use what you have in you already to demonstrate the effectiveness of the potion!" Vinn explained, then raised a finger. "It pays well!"

Ryuusin blushed at the near fatal experience and chuckled. "What kind of....what would you need from me?" He glanced over Vinn to see the massive Clydesdale Vasmeth with the tiny white wolf on his powerful shoulders. The horse wore only a kilt, which was common of the equine race.

"Actually, the demonstration I had planned in Yearnil was going to be the simplest. You - as the largest of the group - take the potion, then we will have a few of the others who are interested and curious go down into your belly with a camera, and speak to the students there! I will be directing the action, and I was thinking of having Adam dive on in, recording video and audio to share."

Adam blushed, and Ryuusin chuckled, happy to accept the offer. However, Krevaan interrupted.

"Hey, why can't I do it?" He protested. "I can swallow a biped with ease! I bet I could even handle this horse here!"

"No, no you couldn't. Vasmeth declared with a gruff snort. "I am prey to nobody."

"Fine, fine! Well maybe not you, but I guarantee I could enjoy a meal out of anyone else. I've proven myself worthy before, you were there for the auditions, you know I'm good at this." He explained with a vehemence unlike anything the others had seen regarding the subject matter at hand. It was odd to see anyone - let alone such a dominant demon-fox - practically begging for an opportunity to participate in such an odd act.

But Vinn seemed to be content to help him out. "Oh, don't worry, we are going to be showing off the long-term options as well as the short-term options. So we'll need someone to guzzle down a potion on stage and have their way with me. Ryuusin already has the long-form potion, you can get the short-term. It's kind of perfect. We'll also be showing off some of the other ones for other medical uses, so we'll have the gryphons Cygnovum and Lost both trying out a different potion as well. In the mean time, we gotta get to Yearnil and meet up at the University. You guys go ahead and meet me there at 5 PM, and I'll be sure to call you on for the demonstration."

Everything seemed simple enough to Krevaan and Ryuusin, whereas Vasmeth and Adam already knew what was planned due to Vinn having gone over the addendum prior to meeting up with the preds.

All five of them walked together, with Vinn on Ryuusin's back and Adam on Vasmeth's shoulders, Krevaan leading the way towards the major trade route. They caught up with Montiga, then to Cygnovum and Lost who were taking a moment off the beaten path to preen one another in excitement.

The fellowship of eight got to know one another more thoroughly on the walk to Yearnil. They exchanged names and contact information should they need to keep chatting when they parted ways. Ryuusin was especially excited for the prospect of such a thing, being hungry in the first place and having drank the potion that helped him along.

This would be quite an adventure for that multi-tailed magenta dragon.

=====================================

Though Ryuusin lived in the mountainous region just south of Yearnil, he rarely visited the city itself. Sure, it had accommodations for a dragon his size, but he preferred the vastness and open nature of the plains and forests. Plus, any flyer preferred a cave high in the mountains overlooking the lands below.

Once they got to the city itself, All eight of them went their own separate ways after being instructed by Vinn on directions to the University. Ryuusin noted the groups that kept forming. Vasmeth and Adam stayed together, Cygnovum and Lost stayed together, and Montiga and Krevaan gravitated towards one another. That left Ryuusin and Vinn each on their own, so they stuck together.

Vinn planned on getting something to eat at a cafe or restaurant before the presentation - citing a need to not be hungry himself while performing - since they had a couple hours before the students and professors would be piling in to get a look at this wondrous concoction.

Despite his reservations and the discomfort of being in the big city, Ryuusin found the city of Yearnil to be quite the beautiful place. The entire south end was wrapped in the thick forest that stretched down to the mountain range he called his home, and the north end was dotted with the patchwork of bush that the Jade Goblet was found in. Across the plans in central Saff'Rald lie Klyneth, his ultimate destination.

The buildings were rounded and swept back with natural looking bark and leaf designs on the roof and walls of each structure. Lamp posts looked like tree trunks, the ground felt like marble and slate under foot, and the road ways followed a natural feeling path around existing rocks and trees that jutted up through the ground. Ryuusin was daintily dipping through and around the obstacles to keep up to Vinn, who remained on task as he kept a brisk pace towards the university.

"Hey, why are you following me? Don't you have friends to go and practice with?" Vinn asked as he noticed Ryuusin was still walking down the streets behind him.

"Probably, but Montiga and Krevaan both feel a little combatative. I am hungry, sure, but I don't really want to force anyone into something. That's...that's a form of rape, really. especially when it's something as intimate as that." Ryuusin explained, his ears drooping and tails dragging along the marble slab pathway behind him. Others from the city - mostly small reptiles, felines, canines, and avians - were getting a look at the large quadruped dragon since his sub-species was so rare in town.

Vinn smiled and rolled his eyes a bit, tongue sticking out in what seemed like a serpentine smell-taste. "Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about those two. They talk a big game but they're both down for pred or prey roles. We don't do unwilling or harmful vore at the House, and don't condone such actions, which is why I'm pushing so hard to sell these potions. If anyone can enjoy such an enjoyable activity in a safe way, we're all better for it."

Ryuusin grinned a wide, toothy smile as he heard Vinn's assurances. "I am glad to hear that. This place sounds more and more fun every time I hear about it! Before today, all I knew about the place was from the few flyers I read in the local pubs. One of my friends caught a glimpse of that tiny lizard thing in one of the brothels, came to tell me about it. Poor guy was peddlin' the House, but not a lot of people are into that sort of adventure."

"It's really not for everyone, but we figure if more people had the opportunity to try it and experience it, we'd capture quite a large audience. Vinn shrugged as he walked along, his long toe claws tapping at the ground with every step. "There was a time when simple bonds and whips were considered taboo. With our potions and the Vore House at the forefront of the nom-revolution, I - nay, we - hope to change the way people view certain elements of intimacy."

"Sounds like you've truly mastered the art of the pitch." Ryuusin chuckled, leaning his shoulder into Vinn's side.

"Well, I am on a business trip here. Give out samples, get people interested. Leera and Yetzer - the co-owners of the House - don't need investors, but they would love the business. They share my vision of broadening the horizons - and bellies - of people all over Dalon. You know, their intention was never to make money or create an empire, it was always for the love of what they do. Well, actually, it was kind of my idea to turn it into a business and share their passion with others. Before that, Leera just...well, she shared it with me."

Ryuusin flicked his ear and leaned down to get a closer view on Vinn. "On you? Are you prey there?"

"Not usually, not anymore. I do a lot of the potion testing, engineering, and medical related work there in case something goes wrong. It hasn't yet, but it's good to have someone with my set of skills and dexterous talons." He paused a moment to lift up the flap on his satchel to show off the dozens - maybe hundreds - of potions held close to the walls of the pouch with a series of thin leather straps, elastic fabric, and pockets. The potions were a psychedelic array of colors, some swirled and marbled within their own tiny vials.

Naturally, Ryuusin couldn't help but stare at the open flap, since the concoctions were actually glowing. "Wow, you have even more than I thought you did! I swear that bag looks bigger on the inside!"

Vinn hurriedly grabbed a neon blue potion and closed the bag. "Our preds are bigger on the inside, too!"

The dragon stopped mid stride and let his eyes go lax, lips pursed as he huffed some smoke out his nostrils. "Really? That's the joke you're going with?"

"It's the only joke I could think of in the heat of the moment. I'm not a comedian, I'm a purveyor of my craft. So, why are you following me around again?" Vinn prodded, trying to deflect from Ryuusin's curiosity in regards to his bag.

The two of them made it to an intersection, with a huge sign hanging over the roadway dangling off a wood-link chain that had an ornate picture of a school and an arrow showing the direction to the University. Looked like it would be less than an hour's walk, at least for Vinn. Ryussin could have spread his wings to fly there, but the town wasn't properly designed to handle such large saurian types, so getting the lift needed to rise above the two and three story buildings would be an unpleasant - and potentially damaging - chore.

Ryuusin knew that his nosiness - nay, curiosity - was making Vinn a little uncomfortable, so he simply answered as best he could, even if he had already done so. "Oh, I just like you, and like I said, I'm hungry. You look like the perfect size for a meal." He jokingly licked his chops and smiled.

"Keep it in your gullet, at least until the presentation." The lizard joked back, once again sticking his tongue out.

Ryuusin was really looking forward to the demonstration, and was so eager he was literally drooling in anticipation. Still, he wanted to keep his composure and didn't want to irritate Vinn with the details of his chosen path alongside the lizard, so he gulped back the saliva, smiled, raised his head high, and trotted along beside him, belly rumbling every step of the way.

Vinn was planning on stopping at a café, but given Ryuusin's presence and lack of digestive fluids, he did the polite thing by foregoing his munchies. Instead, the two snaked their way through the winding, twisting roads of Yearnil before arriving at the front lawn of the University. Well, the front lawn of the main lecture hall and auditorium of the University. Like most higher education sites, Yearnil U was comprised of dozens of buildings full of classrooms, laboratories, and outdoor structures with students of seemingly all ages walking in groups with books under their arm or laying under trees. The entire university was laid out wide and far across the southern forests, like a barrier between the urban center and the lush wilderness that surrounded it.

"So, uh, you wanna hang out here? I have to speak with the dean before we start and you're not officially part of the demonstration so he won't be expecting you. I will have to warm him up to such a large...beast of your...shape." The uncomfortable pause was him looking up and down Ryuusin's form, referring to his quadruped body form and his sheer size.

"Yeah, makes sense if you ask me. I'll stay here, and try not to scare any of the students before the demonstration. Say, I get a set of five vials, right?"

"Five sounds fair. How about six for your work?"

"Deal."

With that agreement, Vinn gave a salute before hopping his way up the grassy hill towards the main lecture hall. Above it lie a sleek looking glass paned office, which was presumably where the dean resided most of the day when not out playing ring-goal or football.

Ryuusin sat back on his haunches and kept his head held high and chest pressed out in pride. All of his tails swooshed around behind him, brushing dirt and pebbles around on the sleek marble of the pathway. A few of the students paused to get a look at him before moving on. Not scared, just uncomfortable being around a large dragon type.

In jest, he gave a toothy grin and a subtle nod of acknowledgement.

Contrary to what he was expecting, a pair of avians actually walked up to him and started to ask about his presence here at the university. "Hey, are you new around here?" The smaller, golden cream colored owl-type asked, leaning in close and lifting her tail up for balance.

"Must be an exchange student." The larger, rusty brown eagle type added. "Welcome to Y-U! Why you? More like Why Knot?" He laughed a bit, extending his wing-arm out to shake at Ryuusin's paw.

"Not a student, actually. Just here for a demonstration in the hall. Showing potions for medical uses with this little green lizard named Vinn." Ryuusin explained, extending a paw to the one who was offering a shake.

The smaller owl seemed disappointed. "What a shame, would have loved to have a more diverse student body, ya know?" She hooted gently and smiled, beak agape.

Ryuusin and the larger eagle stepped away from each other before the avian paused and chirped in excitement. "Wait, is this that presenter from Klyneth? I hear he's gonna be selling some awesome legal potions to some of the students for...experimentation." The way he mentioned the legality made it clear that not all students abided by the rules in regards to mind altering potions.

"I suppose you can see it that way, I guess. I'm not sure about the details, but I had some earlier in preparation for my role. Making me feel a little weird, but mostly hungry." Ryuusin laughed, then giggled at what he realized he'd said.

"Yeah, that sounds about right!" The two avians chuckled and cooed in unison.

The dragon was about to make a witty retort when he heard a calling squawk from behind. It was Cygnovum and Lost, the green and blue gryphons from the pub that Vinn had spoken with! He gave a hearty wing-wave and the responded in kind, gape-grinning and flutter-hopping over to him.

"Hey! Glad to see you made it! You the first one here?" Lost asked, ears perked up and plumage standing on end in excitement. Cygnovum cooed and hunched down on all fours and smiled, preferring to let their more outspoken avian companion do most of the socializing.

The two avian students squeaked in delight seeing two gryphons and started whispering among themselves about seeing so many quadrupeds.

"Actually, I got here with Vinn. He's just inside talking to the dean about using us for the demonstration. Did he say he'd be using you two, as well?" Ryuusin asked.

"Well, we aren't really interested in showing off to a large crowd, but we'll be there in the auditorium, watching your demonstration!" Lost explained as he tipped his beak to the side and started preening at his shoulder and chest feathers.

Again, before Ryuusin could respond he heard another call from the opposite road, he turned to see Krevaan and Montiga together, cooly moseying towards the group. Montiga was waving with an arm in the air while Krevaan just growled and batted his arm down, trying to not call attention to them.

Suddenly, a clopping sound was heard coming down the last of the three lanes, and All five of them turned to see Vasmeth the bulky Clydesdale making his way down the path with Adam sitting comfortably on his shoulders. He wasn't as loud, nor was he interested in calling attention to him, which worked because he was massive compared to most; he must have been double the height of the larger of the avian students.

Both of the birds who had been talking to Ryuusin started waving their wingtips at their faces, airing themselves off at the sight of so many creatures that weren't simple canines, felines, avians, or small reptiles. They made it very clear that this wasn't a common occurrence and that they wanted to show their openness towards all races and types. They kept going around, shaking hands and bowing to each of the group one after another, hooting in excitement at the thought of the mixed species.

Ryuusin simply took a step back to observe the cluster of socialization, preferring to not be a part of it directly. As he watched, he heard the door of the main auditorium swing open, and out came Vinn.

"Guys! Guys! I'm glad you're all here! The dean has given his go-ahead to use you for the demonstration. Come on, and follow me in!" He called out as he walked down the pathway towards them, excitedly waving them to the twin gates that were large enough to allow Ryuusin in.

The two avians smiled and strutted alongside the group as they piled in, eager to see what these foreign beasts were up to in the potions demonstration. Evidently they were fans of the effects of chemicals and were happy to be a part of whatever it was Vinn had in mind.

=====================================

Inside, Vinn coaxed Krevaan and Ryuusin to the back with him, allowing Montiga, Cygnovum, Vasmeth, Adam, and Lost to all join the students in the auditorium.

"Alright, so here's how it's going to work, you two. I'm going to go out with a table full of the whole rainbow of potions. I'll say a few words, front a few questions, then I'll announce the live demonstration between you two. That's when you enter through the large bay doors and join me, one on either side. There, I will feed Krevaan the quick acting potion, then take a mic and camera with me into Ryuusin. After I come out, that's when Krevaan pounces me, swallowing me up with ease. The crowd will likely act shocked, but I'll be fine. Got it?" Vinn explained to the two of them.

Both nodded with enthusiasm.

"Good. I should go out there." Vinn peeked though the door, then immediately closed it and gulped heavily. "Well alright, there's quite a few more people here than I expected."

Curious as well, Ryuusin slipped forward and nuzzled his head through the crack in the door to get a look. Not only were all the seats taken, but the aisles were also filled and more people seemed to be filing in. He could see the two avians they met in the quad in the front row. He smiled and laughed a bit. "What's the matter, Vinn? Got stage fright?"

Vinn scoffed. "Not at all. Just surprised. I'm used to smaller crowds, is all. No stage fright or discomfort, just, uh, inconvenient, you know?" He took in a few deep breaths before turning and disappearing into the auditorium, leaving the twin doors to close behind him. A powerful round of applause rocked the building as he began his speech.

Neither Ryuusin nor Krevaan could make out the details of his speech, so they both leaned in close to the door, pressing their ear against it.

"I wonder how he'd react if I bit him during the presentation?" Krevaan joked.

"What do you mean? You better not hurt him." Ryuusin warned, glaring at him.

"No, no. I mean like, while he's trying to feed me the potion, just nip him a little on the shoulder or something. Scare him a bit, but not hurt him. I'm sure the crowd would love that; might get a kick out of it."

Ryuusin narrowed his eyes and rumbled disapprovingly. "I'm really not sure that's a good idea. If you do that, I just might have to bite you too."

"Sure, go ahead, and I'll claw your belly open...." Krevaan threatened, his words trailing off as the larger dragon stood up straight, twice as tall as him.

"You really think that would go over well, fox? I could snap you in half with one bite and slice you down your spine with one slash, if I so chose. Stop trying to overcompensate, you're nothing to me." He growled, raising one front claw to show his dominance.

"I'm not a fox, I;m-"

Krevaan was cut off mid-sentence by Ryuusin slamming his foreleg down on his neck, eyes brimming with blue-purple fire. "I don't care what you are, you're going to play nice with Vinn, or you'll be my meal and I'll keep you in my belly until the potion wears off. You understand me?"

The weight of the dragon on Krevaan's neck made it hard for him to respond, but he got out a tense, squeaky answer in the affirmative as he nodded. When Ryuusin let him up, he growled and rubbed the back of his neck with fangs bared. "I am so sick of people doing that." He complained, massaging the muscles of his upper spine.

"Then stop trying to dominate others and people like me won't have to teach you a lesson in humility. You said spike did it to you at the try-outs, right? Maybe this is a lesson to you." He shook his head in disdain and then put his ear up to the door, ignoring the demon-fox from that point forward.

As told, Vinn was describing the many uses of the potions, mostly focusing on the medical benefits of them. He told about how the digestive potions would allow smaller creatures such as amphibious saurossins and murines would be able to explore a larger creature's digestive tract and fix it or identify problems without the aid of risky surgery or risk of damage. He also spoke of the potions that could greatly speed up the healing process, ones that would alter gender or had other transformative properties, and even potions that would boost performance in many ways, capping it off with a joke about performance in bed.

After he went through the list of potions he had available, he started fronting questions. The first sounded familiar.

"So are these potions regulated by the Saff'Raldian parliament?"

Ryuusin couldn't quite place the voice so he nuzzled his snout against the door to crack it open just enough to watch. It was the male eagle avian from before with his lady friend next to him.

"They are, yes. Fully legal to have; in fact we sell them in the Klyneth marketplace for medical and recreational use, if you've got the coin." He smiled and winked at the two birds, who nodded in approval and sat back down, hooting and chirping at one another. "Alright, next? Okay, you!" He pointed to a large shire stallion with buns on his mane running down his neck.

"Do these potions work on animals as well? Are there veterinary uses, say, with breeding or rearing young?"

"Indeed. The concoctions can be altered to suit pets and farm animals alike. One potion we've been curious about experimenting with was a milk potion, which would of course increase milk production in mares and cows for their young, increasing volume and maximizing nutrient content."

Content with his answer, the stallion sat back down and started writing in his note pad.

Before another could ask, Krevaan forced his snout through the door under Ryuusin, barreling out onto the stage before it was his time.

Vinn quickly turned and raised his head and neck frill, chuckling to himself. "Alright, looks like my live demonstrators are a little eager to show off what we've been working on! Ladies, gentlemen, and beasts of all species, I present to you Ryuusin and Krevaan!" The applause was immediate and thunderous. "They will be showing the immediate effects of the potions. Krevaan here has not sampled a taste yet, whereas Ryuusin here took his a few hours back." He raised a hand to each of the two one by one, showing who was who.

He stepped up to his display rack as Krevaan and Ryuusin both stood tall behind him. After rifling through the options, he grabbed a teal vial and walked over to Krevaan, patting the demon-fox on the chin to raise his maw so he could feed him the potion. "Now, there are two forms we've brewed up here, one that's fast acting but only works for a few hours, and another that takes more time to work but lasts for days. Ryuusin has the long-form potion, and I'm feeding Krevaan here the quick acting potion. If only he'd open his maw for me." He tapped Krevaan's chin again and grumbled to the demon fox to help out.

Krevaan glanced over to Ryuusin with a glint in his eye before baring his fangs and biting down on Vinn's shoulder briskly before smiling and then turning it into a playful nuzzle up against his chin, staring at Ryuusin the entire time as an act of defiance, daring the larger dragon-fox to do something. Eventually, he let go and gave Vinn a passionate lick along with a chuckle, gaping his maw open with tongue out and cupped to receive the potion.

Vinn rubbed his shoulder and popped the top off the vial and poured the glowing liquid down Krevaan's throat, glaring at him before turning back to the crowd. "Now, as you can see here, the red one - Krevaan - has just drank a potion that will alter his digestive fluids, making his digestive tract habitable, and the fluids breathable. That will be ready in about five or ten minutes. Now, Ryuusin here is ready. So go ahead, Ryuusin, let's do this, and I'll bring the camera in with me to show how safe your body is."

Ryuusin glared over at Krevaan a bit, watching the demon-fox lick his chops and gulp down every drop of the sticky potion. "No problem, sir." He got down onto his belly and laid his chin to the ground, gaping his maw open as wide as it would go, the pink flesh of his tongue and gullet glistening and drooling heavy gobs of saliva down over his teeth and gums.

"Now, as you can see, the potion has of course lead to an increase of bodily fluids, which means I'm going to have to slip on into him and enter his belly, getting a good look at what he has to offer before coming back out. Might be the front door, might be the back! Depends on how things work out!" He winked and turned to Ryuusin, looking the dragon in the eyes with a smile and a nod. "Just relax, I'll take care of most of this. Please don't gag on me."

Vinn waved for some assistants to come out, wheeling a television set on a cart, with a camera attached to it. Displayed on the screen was a live streaming video of the camera's feed. Vinn grabbed this camera - which was attached via a very long cable - and sidled up next to Ryuusin's large head. "Ladies and gentlemen, I bid you adieu!" He gave a gentle bow and got down onto all fours, crawling into the dragon's open maw.

Ryuusin had to fight the gagging sensation that bubbled up within him as the lizard's dainty feet and talons tickled his tongue and inner cheeks, the frills tickling the roof and back of his mouth. He watched the screen as the camera got smushed up between his throat flesh and Vinn's chest. Naturally, he couldn't help but gulp a bit, the pressure of his tongue squeezing Vinn to the inside of his maw, cradled gently in the crook of his upper teeth.

"Careful there!" Vinn protested as he got rocked about inside Ryuusin. He was using his free hand to part the flesh of the dragon's gullet as he used the other to look down into the camera. The tender walls hadn't fully collapsed around him yet so he still had air to look down at it and assure the audience he was fine. He gave a wink, then wrapped both hind talon around Ryuusin's lower canines, kicking in deeper.

He could feel the bulge in his throat as Vinn's form slid into him, the scales of his neck stretching and distending out with every kick, kneel, and writhing motion. It was important to him to keep his maw gaped open as wide as it could so the audience could watch the presenter's form slowly disappearing between the tender walls that smothered him. He gave a deep gulp and lifted his head up off the ground, relaxing his jaw and bobbing his head to ease Vinn in deeper.

The dragon's feeding response was taking over and he couldn't resist a swallow. His jaws partially closed around Vinn, holding him in place as he swallowed, throat muscles undulating downwards against his prey's body. Inside, he could feel Vinn's upper body and hand expand into his lower gullet, his legs kicking at air and idly clawing at the flesh of the dragon's maw.

Ryuusin glanced over at the monitor showing Vinn's descent, but could only see the pink flesh of his throat throbbing and pulsing on one side of the screen, with the other half being the green, white, yellow, and blue speckling of Vinn's belly. His esophagus was too tight against his prey, he would really need to relax if Vinn wanted a good shot at his face.

In an effort to give Vinn that freedom he needed, Ryuusin gaped open his maw as wide as it would go, nearly to the point of dislocating his jaw. The extra room mixed with Vinn's eager descent had the prey sliding down his throat with ease, a powerful lurching sensation guiding him into his torso through his collarbone. Only Vinn's feet and the tip of his tail were sticking out of the gullet that had claimed him, toes curling in delight and tip flicking gently.

He gave a deep, powerful gulp against Vinn's hips and body, slurping up the rest of his body like a long, thick noodle. The cord from the camera was still sticking out the crook of his mouth, which was quite uncomfortable, but not enough to keep him from bobbing his head and twisting his neck to force Vinn down into his belly with one powerful lurching slide.

A sudden heaviness rested in his gut as Vinn curled up inside. He shifted and twisted around in the tight confines until he was comfortable. When he finally found a position that he enjoyed, he grabbed the camera and adjusted it so it was looking him in the face through the collapsing walls of Ryuusin's belly. On the screen, a small slit could be seen between either of his throbbing stomach walls showing Vinn's smile and a thumbclaw up.

Ryuusin rolled to his side and patted his belly, pressing his talons against the bulging scales of Vinn's pressing hands. "See? Completely safe in there! If he wanted, he could explore deeper, check me for ulcers, see if anything's lodged in there, or repair damages without having to slice open my belly! From what I understand of the potions, this effect will last for days, with the long-form potion." He tried to explain to the crowd, even if it was clear he was a little uncomfortable speaking on Vinn's behalf.

Inside, Vinn could be seen on the monitor grabbing at the cord for the camera, giving it a tug a few times, each one pulling more of its length into Ryuusin's belly. He seemed happy, like he was playing in the soft pillows and wrinkles of Ryuusin's belly, but Ryuusin knew that there was more to this.

It was clear that Vinn was ready to come out, but wouldn't be able to crawl out on his own; either Ryuusin had to spew him back out or he could pull on the camera, bringing the lizard out with it. The dragon was hesitant, having enjoyed the sensation of a full belly, but then conceded that he was here for Vinn, so he grabbed at the cord and tugged it back. There was some resistance and Vinn could be seen on monitor trying his best to hold at the cord, feet flailing against the belly walls as he shifted and slid his snout back into the dragon's neck.

Ryuusin gulped a bit to squeeze his prey in place before retching and pulling on the cord. Vinn burst from his gullet in a wet sloppy mess on the floor, still holding tight to the camera cord.

"Tadaa!" Vinn declared as he got to his feet, raising both saliva soaked hands to the sky. "I am in perfectly fine condition! Now, to demonstrate the alternative, quick version of the same potion!" He walked over to Krevaan, who was standing in his spot over on the other side of the monitor.

The demon-fox licked his chops with a devious grin on his face. Before Vinn could properly introduce him or explain how the potion worked, Krevaan leapt forward with his teeth bared, opening his maw over the lizard and slamming his head down around him, swallowing him with one bite. He reared his head back high and swallowed quickly, the bulge in his throat sliding deep into his belly and writhing out in his lower abdomen.

Every person in attendance gasped and shifted in their seats as Krevaan devoured Vinn in one fluid motion. Ryuusin growled and stepped forward, but then remembered that Vinn had actually asked for this, so he stepped back and addressed the crowd. "Dont worry, all part of the show, to demonstrate the effectiveness and quickness of the potions and how they allow such actions." He grabbed the slippery camera and offered it to Krevaan. "But I'm pretty sure this was supposed to go down in your belly with him."

Krevaan grinned and nodded, grabbing the camera and resting it on the back of his tongue before gulping it down. A few swallows later and Vinn could be seen on the monitor between two parting throat walls. Like inside Ryuusin, he parted the wrinkles of the belly and gave a thumbclaw up.

"See? He's completely fine!" Ryuusin assured everyone while glaring at the Demon-Fox with a sidelong glance.

Rather than belch Vinn back up, Krevaan grabbed the camera cord and yanked it out with one quick motion, the monitor showing his gullet retreating from view before splashing out in a mess on the ground before him. He looked at the crowd, gaped his maw open to widen his throat nearly to his belly to show Vinn's tail, then closed up and gulped as hard as he could, twisting neck and body to force his prey even deeper.

Ryuusin raised an eyebrow as he came to realize what it was that was happening here. He shook his head in disapproval, but then decided to stop with the judgment when he called back to Vinn;s own admission that he might even 'come out the back'. Since Vinn had given his approval, Ryuusin simply laid down on his belly and watched as Krevaan closed his eyes and twisted his body around in knots, undulating his abdominal flesh and twitching his neck to force Vinn to slide through his gut right through to the end.

The crowd remained enthralled, not so much by the scientific implications, but by the sheer audacity of a massive feral demon-fox passing a presenter through his entire digestive tract. Of course, without a stunt like that, the crowd wouldn't have been nearly as big or as varied as it was. Most were just curious to see what happened next!

Krevaan smiled and leaned back onto his haunches, arching his spine and lifting his tail before squatting down and forcing Vinn out his backside with one wet, squelching splat. When he moved to the side, he raised a paw as if to show off his trick before sauntering off the side of the presentation area and returned backstage, a trail of slimy goop trickling out from under his tail.

Vinn hobbled around as he got to his feet, wiping himself of the slimy mess that had coated his form. "Well, I wasn't quite expecting that kind of a trip, but hey, as you can all-" He paused to cough up some of the slime before continuing. "-all see that I am quite alright! Had I brought with me a light and some supplies, I could have performed surgery!"

"Here, let me help you with that." Ryuusin offered as he helped clean Vinn from the mess that was dripping off his frills and scales. He actually used his tongue to do so, since it was no different than the fluids that were inside him. Before long, Vinn was clean and glistening on stage with the puddle of slime to one side and the display monitor to the other side.

"Well then, that was fun." He joked as he wiped his chest free of the remaining mess and stepped forward to center stage. "Anyway, that's just one of the many potions I've brought to you. I am looking to sell it in the Yearnil marketplace within the end of the semester, but that'd be for personal use. The glory of the potions we produce is that they're not just for science, but also for pleasure, and that's where I tie this little demonstration into an ad for my parent company, NoThEn Labs."

The same shire stallion from before stood up and brushed his mane back. "I've heard of that before, don't they do a lot of...." He trailed off, not wanting to finish his sentence.

"Indeed. NoThEn Labs are an international conglomerate that invest in and develop many ways to show that sex is Not The Enemy, as their banner states. Now, I know most of you came here not for the scientific implications of such a potion, but for the utter absurdity of my willingness to be swallowed up by a dragon, then a fox. That there is a spectacle, but it's also a show for those with an adventurous side. That's why I'll be giving out some of these potions for the larger folks in this area to try out. If you want to try what I just showed you, for fun, then now is the time."

Vinn waited for someone to say something, but all he heard was an idle cough followed by a hiss. "You don't have to be shy, folks. We understand that people are far more interested in weird things and adventure than they like to admit. So go ahead, First one to the stage gets one of the quick-acting potions!"

The eagle avian from before the demonstration stood tall with his owl hen and flutter-hopped up onto the stage. "Well, I'm not sure if I'll use it myself, but I'm sure I can find someone to experiment with. Come on guys, this is university, a time for trying new things and self discovery. The lizard's right, No harm in a little adventure as long as it's safe, and he's demonstrated, these potions are indeed safe!"

Vinn flicked his spine frill and cocked his head to the eagle. He leaned in close to whisper. "Are you a plant from the company that they didn't tell me about?"

"Naw, just curious and young. Enjoy it."

The crowd remained still, unsure of how to respond. Rather than wait to see the reactions, Ryuusin decided it might have been time to slip out of the spotlight and maybe check up on Krevaan. When the demon-fox left the stage, he seemed disgruntled or angry, but also like he had something devious on his mind. A creature his size could do some real damage to locals if he felt like showing off his potion-imbued nom-tastic abilities.

Just then, as Ryuusin turned to disappear out the twin doors, Montiga slithered up the side of the stage to join him.

"Ryuusssin, where are you going?" He asked, snaking and twisting his way through the dragon's four legs, which helped the naga keep pace.

"Just out back, trying to find Krevaan. I don't imagine you saw him, did you?" Ryuusin explained with a hint of worry in his voice.

"I did see him leave after that ssstunt with Vinn, but I've been watching the presentation since then. Do you think ill things about him?" Montiga asked as the two of them slipped through the back hallways, glancing down each of the passages along the way.

Ryuusin glanced out each door he could until he found one that said exit that was partially open, a single slit of view to the forests behind the auditorium showing. He cocked his head to the side and buried his snout into the crack to open it up, wiggling his neck and slipping through the massive opened door. "No, I don't think ill of anyone, but he did seem a bit ravenous to me. I don't really trust him."

Montiga slid out through the door underneath Ryuusin, flicking his tongue all the while. "That's good, because I was thinking...based on that demonstration, that I'd love to be prey to one of you. Vinn's speech made me realize that it is okay to enjoy being predator and prey. We all love weird things, and I guess it's not all bad as long as the predators understand compassion for their prey. I'd prefer to make a meal of you or Krev, but, well, if you're hungry I'd be happy to play prey for you." He hissed a bit and blushed, crossing his arms over his lower chest.

Though his mind was focused on Krevaan, Ryuusin paused to look back at his naga companion. "Really?"

He nodded. "Yesss! So, will you? Be pred for me?"

A half-smile curled up the side of Ryuusin's maw as he drooled a bit. "Well, if you put it like that, sure! But, let's find Krevaan first, okay?" He turned to hop his way over a log, away from the building, when he heard a rustle in the trees. When he turned to the sound, out popped Krevaan with hair raised around the nape of his neck and down his spine, fangs bared.

"What's that I heard?" The demon-fox snarled, licking his teeth.

Ryuusin paused and flicked an ear. "What part? We discussed many things. Was it the part about Montiga being willing as prey? Or was it the part about me not trusting you as a predator?"

"That second part. Why would you say something like that about me?" Krevaan demanded.

"Sssimple, we saw your actions on stage there, and you've been aggressive and kind of nasty since I met you." Montiga explained, narrowing his eyes and flicking his tongue to taste the air, testing to see if Krevaan was planning on attacking.

The demon-fox sighed heavily and lowered his ears, drooping his tail as the fur on his back flattened. "Is that really what people think of me? I'm a predator, it's what I do." He explained, eyes closed.

Ryuusin sat back on his haunches, aware of Krevaan's vulnerability. He licked at the back of his own paw and shrugged his wings a bit. "Well, yeah. Everything you've said to me has been some variation of how dominant and how hungry you are. I could eat you if I wanted, but you don't see me going around, displaying my dominance over everyone else. No, I'm more about being compassionate. I eat, sure, but I don't prey on the weak, not in the same way you do. Some softness would go a long way towards helping your image."

Just then, Montiga swung his back end around to the fox, flicking the tip of his tail up against his chin. "If you wanted to prove your compasssssion, you could start with me." He offered, using his muscled body to coil and massage Krevaan's front paw up to his knee.

There was a long, awkward pause between the three before The demon-fox laid down on his belly with one paw wrapped in snake tail, the other one kneading at Montiga's form, massaging it as he licked gently. "Well, I guess this could do." He said, sniffing the air and raising his ears. His eyes slipped to the side, glancing sidelong at Ryuusin before finally allowing himself to suckle at the prehensile tip of naga tail that had been poking and prodding at his chin and neck.

"See? That'sss not so hard at all, is it?" Montiga cooed at the demon-fox, his entire lower half writhing and convulsing in waves as he reverse-coiled around Krevaan's two paws and neck. He teased and prodded at his chin and lips with the tip of his tail for fun, pulling away ever so daintily when he got licked.

Krevaan opened his maw and clamped his teeth down on Montiga, sucking at the tail tip a bit but not puncturing scales or skin. He relished in the sensation of having the tail wriggling in his maw, massaging his tongue and prodding at his gullet. His instincts clearly inspired him to bite down hard, and his visage gave away his internal struggle to not let that happen as he prodded and sucked, twisting his neck and arching his spine to engulf more of Montiga's back end.

Ryuusin wasn't sure what to do in this situation, so he stepped up to Montiga's torso and laid down on his side, allowing the naga to use him as a pillow. He caressed the snake's form with his front paw and used his wing to cover him, always ready to pull him from the demon-fox's gullet should he get too aggressive.

However, contrary to his intentions, Montiga cupped the dragon's cheek in his palm and nuzzled up into him through and under his wing. The naga was actually caressing Ryuusin like a lover, prodding his own snout against the crook of the dragon's lips, flicking his tongue into his maw. At first Ryuusin was apprehensive, not appreciating Montiga's forceful advances and aggressive prey behaviour, but he had his instincts. The moment he felt something poking at his teeth, he couldn't help but gape open his maw and engulf the naga's head in one bite.

He immediately realized what he was doing and went to pull away, but then the snake's head slithered deeper into his gullet, powerful muscles twisting his neck and cheek to slither deeper into the dragon's throat. The pressure on the base of his tongue made him swallow, bobbing his head forth while also angling his neck back for more gulping power. He held his paw down on Montiga's form, holding him in place as he extended his jaw forward to cradle the snake's chest and belly.

Montiga flicked his tongue out to tickle at the dragon's gullet before extending his spine forward to plunge himself deeper down that warm, tender maw flesh. His shoulders proved a bit of an obstacle to the crook of Ryuusin's jaws, but one twist and push and he was bulging out the dragon's throat with ease, hands sticking out either side of his jaws while the rest of him writhed about between the two predators.

On the other end, Montiga's tail flicked and snaked its way backwards down Krevaan's throat. The demon-fox got to all fours and started leaning into the powerful sensations of the snake's body, gulping down bits of him one belly-scale at a time. His own lips were leaking copious amounts of viscous saliva all over the both of them, moistening the fur around his muzzle and dripping into the dirt and leaves below.

Ryuusin got up at the other end of Montiga, tugging back against the other pred's pull, his own massive maw gulping and slurping back every inch of Montiga's form. Both of them were quite hungry, and both had bellies easily able to consume and confine Montiga's entire coiled up body. He could actually feel the snake's elbows parting within his gut, forming a series of defined bulges in his abdomen as he got comfortable.

Between them lie the majority of Montiga's length, the bulge of it resting on the ground but tensing in waves from Ryuusin to Krevaan. Both smiled and looked at each other, daring the other to advance their jaws on the snake's form. Both got to all fours and stood against one another, jaws lax but just tense enough to keep the snake's body in their gullet, throats bulging out and bellies distending as more of the naga's coils bunched up within them.

Montiga tugged on both ends, tail and torso expanding to anchor himself in either predator's belly, tensing his midsection muscles to pull the two together.

Naturally, they started circling around each other, eyes locked and jaws ready to suck more and more of the thick, powerful snake body between them. Ryuusin leaned in and gaped open his maw open as wide as it would go, the lubricated walls of his throat sliding over the solid muscle mass and scales with ease. When he bit down, he felt a wave of muscles tense through his esophagus, eventually bulging out his belly again. The filling sensation was unlike anything he'd ever felt before, with the texture of snake scales and belly scutes anchoring down against every pillow of his throat, tongue, and belly's walls, pulling on him while also doing the same to Krevaan.

The demon-fox was doing the same, pulling and yanking at the snake's form as the muscles pulsed in waves through his body. Ryuusin could actually see the knotting coils of Montiga's long tail end shifting and writhing in tangles underneath Krevaan's abdominal wall; a gentle gurgling could be heard, a symphony of hungry bellies getting quelled.

Both offered one powerful, final gulp to bring their maws together, connected and interlocked around the powerful machinations of serpent muscles massaging them from within. Once their snouts touched, both kind of stopped doing what they were doing to just stare, confused and unsure of what to do next.

Ryuusin wanted to gape his maw open wide and just take the rest of Krevaan's form in with Montiga with little care for how they'd deal with one another inside, but that went in opposition to the compassionate, caring pred he wanted to portray. Krevaan, on the other paw, had his predatory response taking over and he couldn't physically find a way to release, because his teeth were gently gripping at the snake's scales. He knew he couldn't hope to consume Ryuusin, and like the other he wanted to prove his compassion so he certainly wouldn't try such a thing.

Both angled their maws opposite one another so that they were interlocked, like a kiss with snake body linking them, upper and lower jaw of one nestled in the crook of the maw of the other.

"Awww, how sweet!" A voice called out from behind a tangle of trees.

Krevaan and Ryuusin both gulped in surprise, the muscle contractions pulling them each closer to each other around Montiga as they looked over to see the others from the pub all standing there, watching. Vinn was leading the group of Adam, Vasmeth, Cygnovum, and Lost.

"Now this is the kind of companionship I hope to foster with my potions." He declared before hopping over a log and meeting them in the clearing, the other four all following in tow.

Ryuusin froze solid, wondering how he could possibly explain himself out of this awkward situation.
