david's college days part five
It was now getting to the half term holiday and Mr. STORM had arranged a sleep over in a spooky house, it was going to be cool, but little did they know it would be there last knight of not being afraid of thing that go bump in the night!
The four learners selected for the change was, David because he was the best young adult in the group.
Sarah because she was the second best to David.
pippin because she was the best at her exams.
Mike because he was the toughest in the group when he showed up for collage.
Each leaner had been told to bring 1 item of comfort Sarah brought a teddy bear along, pippin had brought make-up as all girls do, mike had brought a light, and David had brought everybody's sleeping bags and P.J's and his item of choose witch was a cassette player with cassettes.
All four looked at the house they would be sleeping in for the night, It was spooky and dark very dark just then a flash of lighting rumble across them David the classic line "nice touch".
All four knocked on the big wooden door, the knock echoed for miles just then a flash of white powder and Mr. STORM appeared
"welcome my learners you all know why your here, it so you can win a nice relaxing holiday break from collage but don't get too scarred, HA, HA, HA!".
He dispirited and the door opened David was the first to enter, well he did have all the stuff he was followed by the others and they all sat down in the middle of the room.
Pippin and mike went to look around the house just then boom! Mr. STORM aped again
"don't go off on your own this is my granddads old house and he loves to walk alone on his own" poof! and he was gone.
Pippin and mike ran back to David and Sarah who were tucking into some snacks they had got.
It was now midnight and the four where begging to go to sleep but they herd a noise coming from upstairs David gapped mike and his light and went to investigate.
Mean while Mr. STORM was looking on at his learners and laughing all the way though.
David and mike went to a big door and opened it they found darkness and dust and cobwebs mike ran ahead but got caught in a booby trap a very sticky spider web David freed mike and they started to look around but all they saw was darkness and dust until David saw a room opening, it was a bedroom with a very big bed mike and David knew this was there moment to jump up and down on it and have fun!
Back in the room Sarah and pippin where wanting for David and mike to return but they didn't for a good hour
"what if something horrible has happened?" said Sarah,
pippin was more interested in David cassette player and cassettes,
"not a single RnB track all rock ‘n' roll stuff".
Meanwhile David and mike were testing the bed by jumping around on it and doing back flips,
"yes this seems okay to sleep on no wield noises or stuff" said mike
"good let's return to the others", they stopped jumping and went get the girls.
Sarah and pippin had both been listing to David cassettes without asking but he wouldn't care.
David and mike walked though the door and both said
"we've found a bed"
Sarah and pippin grabbed there things and lobbed them into David face as mike lead the way David was left to roll up the beds and clothes and then made his way to the room with the bed.
As they entered there was a really stuffy and old smell David and Sarah both took a deep breath, mike and pippin gagged and coughed.
Sarah and pippin "nominated" David too test the bed in case of any boobie traps, there wasn't any as David sat down, mike, Sarah and pippin got on to the bed and the big clock in the corner chimed 1:00am.
The group settled down for the night, Sarah, mike and pippin fell asleep but David was too active to sleep he wanted to see more of this very nice old building that he knew no one had ever set foot in here for years.
2:45am and Sarah needed the loo so David took Sarah to the loo and they found the loo but it was yuk there was dust and old mags from years ago and to top it all of spider webs Sarah asked David,
"David will you go and make saw the seat is clean" David found the loo to be clean and not dusty.
Sarah finished on the loo and went to find David, David had wounded off and was now looking at some of the old paintings of "lord griffin the 1st" and all the others, then he found the family tree not a lot was on it, it had been bunt at some time.
David leaned on a book and clicked a secret switch and found a video tape and also the T.V. he put the video in pressed play, the video warred and played.
"Greetings STORM or should I call you Mr. STORM, as you may well know I'm dead and in my will I leave you this house you must have loved looking around it when you were a lad I know I did"
just then Sarah walked in and watched with David
"any who I must be going now, oh by the way about your name, now this is quit a story but to keep it short you never say your first name because.....It will bring fear to you and your friends your first name is.....On that bit of paper over there were you found this cassette now I must be off but remember never say your name".
David and Sarah could not believe there luck not only did mister STORM have a big play house but they were going to know his name.
Pippin awoke to find David and Sarah missing she rolled over and began to play with mike but mike shrugged her off David and Sarah now knew misters STORM's first name it was......
David and Sarah woke up at about 8:30 and looked at a beautiful morning, David was back from the kitchen with food okay not food for breakfast but it was breakfast time as Mr. STORM entire the room and said
"good morning learners hope you had a nice sleep I know I did".
As all four left, Mr. STORM asked David to stay behind and have a talk remember Mr. STORM was watching all the time and had found out about this real name
"David I want you to keep hold of this"
he handed David a big old metal key
"this key opens the main door of this house I want to have it"
"why?" David ask confused
"I didn't like this house it was too scary and creepy take the keys and move in"
David knew this was the best thing to happen since sliced bread
"oh and one more thing tell no one of my first name or...."
"Yes I know bad things will happen I know all this I did see the video".
David looked at his newish house and wounded where to start renovating after all he had all the help he needed plus a hole 6-7 weeks.
