#2 of Elemental Angel

Kasahara found himself at the campus gym, amidst the grunting and lifting noises of several large men. The angelic goat wore a matching set of black sweatpants and a black, hooded sweater, the inside of which was a pleasing shade of green. Kasahara gazed around the room with slyly raised eyebrow. He found that he rather liked bigger men. Not far from him was a beautiful specimen of horse, quietly lifting dumbbells into a bicep curl. Kasahara laughed and turned to Brett, who was running on a treadmill. "Heh, you must come here often. Can't say I blame you though. All these sweaty hunks, mmm..." said Kasahara.

"I, am, not, gay! Will you just shut up?! As soon as I'm finished, you're going to boot camp! I'm going to train you." Said Brett.

Kasahara lowered his head slightly and gazed into the hunk's eyes. Kasahara getting used to turning purple around him; the shade all but belied it's sister shade of pink--the color of Kasahara's cheeks.

"T-training? For what?"

"In how to use your powers. I can't be around you all the time. So you're going to have to learn to defend yourself against other elementals, Kasahara! Remember, I saw you first! Nobody's taking my prize away from me!"

"Ah-heh, lucky me."

Later that day, Kasahara and Brett traveled out into the woods surrounding Yorkland. Brett knew of a secluded clearing, which rested in the shadow of a small waterfall. Once the reached the clearing, Kasahara hopped out of Brett's car and was instantly drawn to the babbling brook, at the foot of the waterfall. Brett chuckled, as he took off his shirt and replaced it with a red sleeveless one. Kasahara stole a glance and blushed.

"Okay! Now the first thing to do is learn how to use your Power Orb." Said Brett.

Brett walked over to Kasahara, who put his hands in his pockets. Brett flexed his bicep and then opened the palm. He breathed deeply and loudly; suddenly, a large green orb, nestled in gold, appeared from Brett's palm. "This, is a Power Orb. I could use my powers without it, but it helps out in a fight. You can raise defenses and armor with it, as well upgrade your strength. Heh, not that I need it that much. But you on the other hand!" said Brett.

Kasahara was amazed by this floating object and came in closer to observe it. He moved his face in very close to Brett's hand. "Huh, this little thing? It kinda looks like something you'd by out of the flea market." Said Kasahara.

"Huh?!" snarled Brett.

The curious goat danced around Brett, trying to get the best view of the orb. "Hey are you sure that's even real gold?" asked Kasahara.

"Would you just shut up!!" yelled Brett.

Kasahara giggled and back away. Meanwhile, Wiseman and George were observing the two from atop Brett's car. "You probably already have your own orb, so there's no need to cultivate one. Do this." Commanded Brett.

Apprehensively, Kasahara took one hand out of his coat pocket and mimicked Brett's position. They watched as Kasahara tried to form his own orb. "Wow, who would have thought both of them were elementists or whatever you call 'em." Said George.

Wiseman leafed through a thick book that sat on his lap as he spoke, "That's elemental, George. And actually, this sort of thing isn't that far out. I don't know what Kasahara is, but Brett is an elemental. There have been legends surrounding elementals for centuries! Why, just look at this article right here."

George leaned over and gazed at Wiseman's book. "The legend goes that a thousand million billion bagillion years ago, the gods ruled over the Earth. One day the gods saved Earth from a terrible calamity, but were destroyed in the process. Now their power flows through Earth, where it is utilized by special beings called elementals." Explained Wiseman.

"Huh, wow. I think I heard my Grammy tell me something like that before." Said George.

"That's not surprising George. Heh, actually there have been plenty of sightings and accounts of elementals over the years. Various natural disasters are even attributed to them, by some people." Wiseman turned the page in his book, "It's only now that scientists are coming forward to study this phenomenon. Heh, elementals are the modern day Bigfoot!" said Wiseman with a smile.

"Hey I heard that!" yelled Kasahara.

After an entire of hour of trial and error, Kasahara was finally able to form a Power Orb. As it shot from his hand and floated just inches above his palm, Kasahara cried, "Woah! Geh1 I did it!"

"Now just grasp it and focus." Instructed Brett.

Kasahara did so, eventually. This wasn't an easy task however, as the orb insisted on floating just a few inches from Kasahara's hand--just a few inches out of reach. As Kasahara jumped about, Brett slapped his forehead and growled. "Okay, got it. Now what?" asked Kasahara breathlessly.

"Form yourself some armor. Just think about your own body and imagine it being protected. It helps to close your eyes as well." Said Brett.

Kasahara found this task easier. It seemed to come to him naturally. Though his transformation was not as intense as Brett's had been, Kasahara's was none-the-less breathtaking. His purple-furred body was enveloped in a blinding light. This light seemed to flow around Kasahara's body in a steady current. Then the light shot upward, forming a shaft that split the clouds. Wiseman and George followed the path of the light with their eyes, as their jaws hung open. When the dazzling display was over, Kasahara found that his clothes had burned off and had been replaced with a glistening, sky blue armor. The armor was thin and skeletal in appearance; it had formed itself into plates that corresponded with the major muscle groups in Kasahara's body. It came to Kasahara's attention that his clothes were gone for good. "M-my clothes!! That outfit was Designer Shea! That shit cost me a hundred and eighty bucks! Oh god!" yelled Kasahara.

It then came to Kasahara's attention that his armor had formed a thin, sky blue thong to cover his unmentionables. "Ugh!" gasped Kasahara, frantically covering himself with his hands.

"Hahaha! Hmm, interesting. I've never seen it take on that shape before. Hey quit jumping around like that you moron! It's nothing I haven't seen before!!" yelled Brett.

Karahara was feeling exposed. He felt faint; he stumbled to his knees and covered his mouth, appearing very ill. Brett sighed and called forth his own Power Orb. Then, in much the same fashion, he summoned his scant armor. Kasahara looked up at the bulging Adonis, his back turned to Kasahara and bathed in the golden sunlight that streamed past the mountains and treetops. Slowly, this god looked back at Kasahara with a stern gaze.

Wiseman adjusted his glasses. "Yup, these are some strange friends we have here George." He said.

"Hahaha. They have the same taste in fashion." Chuckled George.
