Abasi - Between Fire and Stone

Abasi a common jackal born into a average family. He grew as any child would playing with others learning form his parents and teachers however he also started to notice the wrongs in the world getting him into many fights in their desert home town. If someone did wrong Abasi would want it corrected this made his parents proud that he has a strong sense of justice. Hard times started as he was entering his young teen years. The family was coming on harder times making Abasi turn to working rather than schooling debts seemed to disappear without his aid after a while until the family learned the awful truth his father had made a deal with some bad people and when they came calling on their money they didn't have Abasi being a hard headed youth tried to stand up to the thugs even attacking one that made a comment about his mother being pretty enough to street walk for them. Not being taught to fight against hardened thugs the fight didn't last too long with one of the thugs clubbing Abasi across his head with something hard sending his world into darkness bleeding badly from the head as any head wound does.

Abasi must have looked dead to them crumpled on the stone floor when he woke the home was ransacked his parents gone but he smelled smoke the house was burning forcing him to stumble away and watch it burn vowing he would find who did it and kill them for this. It may have been his concussion but he herd a vice call out to him in the flames offering him a chance to help others. The flames seemed to bend and twist forming the outline of a person offering their hand. They offered power to help others but it was nothing he could go back on or the powers would consume him from the inside out leaving nothing. Abasi didn't consider it at all and accepted eager for revenge accepting it flames jumped from the offered hand snaking along him though there was no pain no burns.

His claws changed from black to gold , other markings appeared on him making the inner part of his ears gold as was his nose. The last thing to change was his amber colored eyes they faded then smoldered and deep red all over his body he felt stronger like he could do anything. But as quickly as it happened the world seemed to fade into darkness making him slip to his knees then the ground waking up he was not out in the street he instead was in a small room the walls adorned with murals of other beings wielding fire attacking their foes or sacrificing their lives to protect others as he looked around there was a set of fresh clothes for him the cloth was soft stark white with gold accents to it very Egyptian styled.

Dressing Abasi looked himself over he looked older as if reading his mind a voice chimed in speaking to him from all over. " You are older Abasi. You have slept for several years now to make sure you were strong enough or what will challenge you outside these walls" Growling he barked out after the voice " You said nothing of this you gave me power what of my family I was to save them that eve if I could!" Thunder seemed to boom down on him with the voice reminding him he was small before it " I gave you the power but you were not ready that evening. This power isn't for your personal vengeance its to help all who haven't the power to help themselves, and that is your task till it ends you you will use that sense of justice you have to seek out those who do wrong and punish them for their transgressions. You have been given the knowledge to use your powers and how to fight anything more than that you will have to learn on your own."

Abasi nodded understanding more he was a headstrong person and even that eve he was hurt and may not have even put up much of a fight. Before leaving he reached out to a shelf picking up 2 Egyptian styled hand axes hefting them they felt light as air in his hands moving them he seemed to know how to use them expertly even that they connected into a staff weapon but he never had learned how to use a weapon before now he could like a expert. Not giving it another thought he walked out of the room into the open air of the desert looking back the room had vanished as if it never was there leaving him standing on a sand dune.

In the distance he saw a town and headed there it was day and though it should be scorching hot on his paws he didn't break a sweat nor did the heat even register to him allowing him to push on to the town once there it was his hometown and he set off to just observing much had changed people seemed scared all the time apparently criminals now ran things. Abasi's blood boiled in his veins he would correct this and he would do so in his own way. Walking by a alley a voice called to him " Hey...new comer...cmere." Turning Abasi saw a cloaked person beckon him over coming close the man drew close poking him in the stomach with a knife. " Gimme the weapons and whatever gold you have or yer gonna get cut " Abasi was smiling at him " you poor fool...Ill give you one chance to stop and end your ways before I end them for you"

Before the person could jab or speak Abasi had raised his hand grabbing the person by the neck and slammed them into the stone wall of a building the stone cracked and crumbled the criminal gone limp shaking him once Abasi could tell he was dead. " fool..." he said dropping the body to the dirt before taking what money he had his intent clear he would use this to help someone since it was taken from someone by force fingering over the coins he caught a glimpse a memory it seemed showing him each one that had been robbed some killed for their money. Walking out of the alley he wandered into the market seeing so many poor begging for money he handed the money out to them in return they would tell him of criminals that have stolen from the people.

In the coming month Abasi moved around the town even camping outside the town gathering information on evil ones stealing wealth from them to support him and aid the ones it was stolen from. He had seen how the small town went from common people living in fear to confident as they had a protector someone moving in the night or day if it happened to come about criminals being killed for their deeds and good people being helped. It made Abasi feel good but he still had no idea what ones had attacked his family he would have to hunt them down for now this town was being liberated. Word of these vigilante killings were spreading a bounty placed on the head of this mysterious person. Even word reached the capital and to the concerned ears of the the Empress about someone killing people some of them cut down others beaten to death and some they found burnt from the inside out. Ajani disliked this news greatly not for criminals being killed but for the fact her people were suffering and being preyed upon by criminals.

She sent out select individuals to gather information for her on both the criminal elements and this person killing them. Abasi since then had been cutting a bloody path though criminals the worse they did to innocent people the worse he did to them. Word spread of a black furred person who would save people from bad people some even used him as a boogeyman to scare children form doing bad things. Information reached Ajani that this person is a Black furred canine a jackal with gold markings.

Ajani sent word to have them watched collect information but do not engage or anything.

Abasi on the other hand was cutting a bloody path though criminals. No one was safe if they preyed on innocent people he dished out his brand of justice in various ways catching someone simple stealing to survive would get scolded by him now someone who robbed or murdered they were fair game to be delt with harshly. With each one he took down Abasi felt good and got him one step closer to finding the people who his family had to deal with years back. He kept note of the chain of criminals in this large web they had their hands into everything intimidating people , theft , murder for hire , even loan sharks if a family could not pay up sometimes a wife or wife and children taken to be sold as slaves. This enraged Abasi selling people into servitude he knew this meant both male or female would be beaten or even raped to force compliance and it was his duty to stop them.

Following information he gathered his journey led him out of the cities and small villages into the wild desert to lesser known trade routes when he found them a small encampment of slavers Abasi waited till night before moving in under darkness his first kill was a guard taking a leak grabbing the horse by the neck and using his power of flame the bodily fluids in his target rose quickly literally boiling him inside before letting him fall. Moving in he noticed there were almost no guards seems they did not feel they would be in danger. His attention moved to sounds of a woman begging saying no to someone closing in on it he saw a lynx preparing to rape a young girl his anger rising Abasi drew up his ax and cleaved the lynx's head off. His next chop cut the chains off the girl before looking at her calmly pointing back towards the nearest village. " Go that way there is a village you should be able to get help at."

Saying her thanks the girl was up grabbing whatever clothes she could and ran out. Abasi continued his blood bath of the slaver group before morning broke. When they were all burnt , cut or otherwise killed Abasi started freeing the slaves most grabbed what they could and fled a few on the other hand upset him they were just lost or wanted Abasi to be their owner since the others were fleeing or dead. He couldn't stand these weak people who would so willingly serve others rather than harm them he growled telling them to grow a spine and live for themselves. His anger running high Abasi left the encampment heading towards town.

Word got back to Ajani in the coming days that this person had stopped a group of slavers in her lands. Ajani was very angry to know that forced slavery was happening in her lands new orders were to follow up on any rumors of slavery and help root them out. As this vigilantly was seemingly unstoppable by common crooks perhaps leak the information to him and use him to do work for her.

Abasi layed low for the next several days not really venturing out or doing much of anything. Rumors started to circulate about the slavers being killed but more rumors surfaced about those criminals being part of a larger group working out of the neighboring wild lands. Meanwhile in the palace Ajani's own agents had brought her more information on the organization that as working under her nose raising a eyebrow one of the names was a guest on a upcoming gathering she was holding to meet influential people of her nation.

As time was passing Abasi grew more bold going after the organization as he grew more bold more information about him came out to Ajani she learned that his name was Abasi he somehow had flame powers. Agents also learned that his family was victims of the same organization that he was hunting down apparently rumors were they killed the family after Abasi as a kid was dumb enough to attack armed thugs. Deciding to proceed with the gathering it might be a good time to catch both sides of this situation. The name and location even a little more info on how to get in was leaked to Abasi to get him on board.

The night of the gathering certain guards were absent from their rounds or posts while Ajani entertained her guests. She worked hard to help set up both sides of this she wanted both Abasi for his crimes of murder and the head of the organization to answer for his crimes. Mid way though the meal Abasi struck having been sneakier than before he dropped down via a ceiling beam bringing his axes into both sides of the boars neck nearly cutting half way down his chest spraying blood over Abasi and the the nearby guests. Wrenching the axes free the guests screamed and tried to flee in a panic as guards swarmed in surrounding the blood soaked jackal a large bull leveled his spear at Abasi huffing out his commands " Halt ! Drop your weapons and raise your hands slowly!"

Ajani rose from where she was sitting intent on stopping Abasi should it be necessary. Abasi snapped the axes together into a staff before slamming it down into the stone floor. Nudging forward he lashed out grabbing the spear his eyes glowed brightly the spear growing red hot forcing him to drop it to the floor following up Abasi spun using the momentum to land a punch into the bull's chest sending him sprawled on the stone floor groaning in pain in a flash he was eyeing Ajani. " Tell them to back off before they get hurt. I did what I needed to do here and I will leave in peace. " Ajani glared at this dog as she spoke " you have been on a murderous rampage though my kingdom....Now I know they were criminals but still they could have been put on trial for their crimes. " Abasi snarled and raised a hand flames bursting to life in his palm before he could throw Ajani snapped her fingers at him all of his powers fizzled out leaving him shocked that none of them worked. Ajani smirked

"Problem there child?" Ajani's face was a cruel smirk as Abasi tried to activate his powers but none worked. " seize him guards chain him in a cell I will deal with him later. As guards closed in Abasi lashed out trying to stop them from taking him but without his powers he was little match for trained guards who subdued his struggling form applying steel manacles to his hands behind his back and longer ones to his ankles before shuffling him out. Later after everything had calmed down Ajani visited Abasi who was sitting on the small bench and looked up at her he had tried for hours to summon up flame powers to get himself free they just wouldn't work.

" Now you need to answer some questions and perhaps be a bit civil about it. " Abasi looked up meeting Ajani's gaze to answer her. "first off id like to know who you are where you got your abilities and frankly why your murdering people in my kingdom?" Abasi nodded his head some " I am Abasi and I don't know who gave me the powers I have I never met them only herd their voice while in a room that dissipated as I left it. As to your third they were criminals that preyed on innocent citizens they deserve it for their crimes." Ajani nodded taking in his answers it was not unheard of people gaining abilities beyond that or normal people from birth or even gifted to someone by powerful beings like her and her siblings. " Well I am Ajani I rule this nation and your powers will work when I choose to grant them back to you. I share the same affinity to fire as you do but at considerably higher levels. Did you just choose to kill these criminals without having them going though their due process under my rule for any reason?"

Abasi looked down some remembering that day that started this path in his life. " My parents fell on hard times and my father borrowed money to pay debts from a loan shark but didn't get it payed back so they came to our home and made crude comments towards my mother so I attacked one of them and was beaten unconscious. When I woke up I was in the room and had been given my powers several years had passed since the incident. I have been dead set on stopping them and finding what happened to them. Along the way I have stopped murderous people , thieves , even people who took your citizens as slaves selling them out into the wild lands."

Ajani shook her head softly " It still does not give you or anyone the right to hunt them down and murder them. You should have turn them in to stand trial. " Abasi glared at her " your being naive about it...they stole and amassed wealth and favor they could sway a trial and who would stand to testify against them and manage to live. I did what was needed but others had not the power to do so."

Ajani thought about what he said for a few moments. " I will release you and give you your powers back....However not to go rampant though my lands killing. You will seek them out gain information and I will have them put on trial...you will kill IF you have no choice. If you cannot abide by this you will be put to trial instead. "

Abasi considered this for a while while Ajani watched him. " Alright but if someone is in danger I will not hesitate to put someone down. " Ajani narrowed her eyes some judging his intent " Alright I will hold you to it Abasi. " With a snap of her fingers his powers were returned to him.

Given her blessing Abasi took what information he had striding out into the kingdom and systematically was hunting down the lower level crooks letting them live at least live only minor injuries should they tell him what he wishes to know about their bosses. Information led him towards slavers taking that information back to Ajani she sent troops to deal with them trials were held and those who were guilty were executed. Abasi was constantly working trying to find more and more trying to root out this cancer in his home land. Abasi had to admit the time he was in the palace was nice and being around Ajani was very nice he was attracted to her as any person would she was beautiful and powerful in her own right. One eve Ajani asked Abasi to share a meal with her while sitting down Ajani broke the awkward dinner silence asking him if he would like to live here with her. Almost choking on his food Abasi had to take a moment to calm himself before replying that he would but he has to earn his stay here. Nodding Ajani spoke more of a command than anything " you have earned your place here and being loyal will maintain it. Now come with me. " Nodding his head Abasi followed her eyeing her hind end as she lead him around the palace to her chambers.

Once inside she closed the door after he had entered and instilled again that she was in charge pressing the jackal against the door kissing him her hand pressing his arms against the door roughly.

Abasi was shocked at first but returned the kiss as soon as he could move his hands he was on Ajani like a predator nipping softly at her neck his hands roaming over her form as she lead them to her bed easing out of their clothes something easy for Abasi who didn't wear much to cover himself. Ajani's light clothes slipped off her form gently. At the edge of the bed Abasi tried asserting himself as dominate in the bed pushing Ajani down onto bed and climbing over her his shaft prodding her gently. Ajani smirked at the jackal over her before hooking her leg over him and pulling harshly rolling Abasi onto his back with Ajani firmly mounted over him. " I prefer this position at the moment. " * reaching down she grasped his shaft firmly before positioning herself over it and easing down upon the shaft slowly to torture him just a little.

Once she had fully sheathed him inside her she smiled giving out a soft growl " I can get quite used to this..." Giving him a love nip on his neck she softly rose and fall on him his hands grasping at her too eager to speed things up firmly pressing him down she slowed the pace to what she wished leaving him growling and squirming under her as she figured this was his first time. Abasi was snarling and bucking harshly at her as she tried to draw it out as long as she could possibly get gently teasing herself she pushed herself to the brink and when she felt he could not take anymore she sped up gently leaning down and firmly bit Abasi on the neck causing him to spill over the edge into his climax her own body shuddered softly as she rode out her own orgazam gently climbing off him as they caught their breaths. " I good soak is in order if you can walk that is" Ajani eased down off the bed leading him to the bath. Softly the couple washed themselves before finding themselves back in the bed snuggled in close slipping off to sleep.

Abasi thought to himself as he walked though the palace how he went from being a everyday person to a empowered being now to living in the palace serving directly under the Empress. No one could have foreseen this in his life.

All the work that Abasi and others were doing drove the slave trade underground and out of the city into the wilds making it much harder to track much less find the wild lands stretched around multiple kingdoms once outside Ice Queen Emira's lands or Lady Ajani's they had no right to interfere.

Life settled out Abasi working with and training with guards for work to help earn his place with Ajani. Word came one day by messenger that the palace would be receiving Emira as a visitor servants of the palace went to work preparing a guest room. When the carriage arrived Abasi stood back with his arms crossed over his chest. As Emira got out her guards dismounted and grabbed their things. As they did Emira beckoned into the carriage and slowly out crept a snake literally. A almost naked Naga crept out looking like he was afraid of everything. Ajani spoke up first her ears perked " Emi...hes a exotic i didn't know you had...tastes for them " Emira shot her a glance as Ahri came closer " Ajani this is my recent acquisition his name is Ahri I have taken it upon myself to see to him and make sure hes taken care of...as it seems others failed to do so " Ajani smiled at him "Welcome to my lands Ahri I hope your stay is as comfy as possible if you have any needs don't hesitate to speak them. "Ajani welcomed her sibling then looked to Abasi "Abasi...take Haku and Ahri here inside to their chambers I will be speaking with my sister when your done. "

The jackal nodded his head speaking almost in a growl " as you wish...Come with me you two "

jackal led them to a large common room that had been set up for them to rest in " here..." He motioned Haku ducked in first setting his things down Ahri spoke softly asking where his slave pen was his timid voice seemed to anger the jackal who snarled at him.

" We don't have pens for weaklings like you or that dragon...." Ahri lowered his head and nodded silently " Look you cant even meet a person's gaze....I don't see what Emira sees in a creature so willing to just blindly obey and be a slave....your both weak and stupid! " the black jackal huffed with frustration. Before he could speak again haku was back in the walkway in the jackal's face " Enough! you best show some respect....I may willingly wear a slave collar but I've gladly seen more combat than you....dog. Now if you have further issue with our being here you WILL direct it to Ajani or perhaps Emira herself " Abasi left them alone wandering off to see to anything else but these two he joined Ajani and Emira later for dinner when Haku and Ahri entered stifling a grumble he tore into a hunk of meat on his plate. The meal was uneventful other than a drunk naga being led to his room by Haku. The next day was a day for shopping for Emira Abasi and chosen guards kept their distance but were withing eye shot of Emira and her slaves at all time so they could intervene if necessary. Abasi huffed to himself as Emira bought some jewelry then spent a fair deal of time picking up dancer clothing for the snake having him try on various colors he did make eye contact with Haku and shook his head some moving just out of his sight range to another location. The rest of their visit went calmly Abasi avoided Ahri and Haku as much as he could other than meals or things he couldn't help. The willingness of them to wear a collar got on his nerves from rooting out the slavers. Once Emira had left for her home Ajani informed Abasi of the slaver camp just outside the realm and sent him to investigate it quietly. Abasi took a mount and left immediately checking out the camp Haku and the others with Emira had done as Ajani told him of killing them all and freeing the slaves to return home apparently Ahri came from here. Abasi scoured the camps remains spending most of his time in what was the slave master's wagon looking over papers and ledgers nodding he collected some of them putting them into a saddle pack before mounting up to leave calling up his powers he set the camps remains ablaze before returning home to investigate further on the ledgers he collected. Quietly the ledgers were looked over over the coming weeks Abasi spent much time investigating names and residences that were hinted at in them. The results were surprising to say the least for who it implicates. However to gather evidence takes time as Ajani wont let him just kick a door in and demand confessions or die. Some evidence just led in circles or to phantom people that never lived there or had any ties to the kingdom. Working at such a slow pace that took weeks or months now bothered him he hated such a slow pace at working he wanted things done quickly and moving on to another thing. Able to tell his frustration Ajani came up behind a frustrated Abasi placing hands on his shoulders rubbing them as he sat in a chair gently at first she rubbed then harder as he leaned back and let out a soft growl enjoying her rubbing at his shoulders. "mmm....that feels nice" Ajani smirked as she came around and tapped him on the nose " you should take a break or else your going to make your fur go Grey" Abasi opened his muzzle to protest but Ajani silenced him kissing him softly " take a break that's a order " Nodding softly Abasi put the documents away to take a break leaving the desk with Ajani. Both of them calmly wandered the halls and out into the open air garden the walk was soothing but the alone time with Ajani finding a secluded bench Ajani sat down and eased Abasi down in front of her roughly rubbing at his back making the jackal relax softly her massage was working out tense spots and making him relax truly relax for the first time in a long time. It didn't take long for Ajani to have to shake the jackal the rub down had relaxed him enough he fell asleep showing he hasn't rested well or enough. " cmon...lets go to bed your obviously very tired " Abasi did not give any protest getting up and heading to bed with Ajani the rest would do him good. With fresh eyes late in the next morning Abasi went back to work pouring over the ledgers when a single name stuck out at him it wasn't coded or anything but checking against other ledgers it came up quite a bit for both buying and selling large sums of money being used. Taking a aid aside he asked for information on this person this would not take too long they were pretty well known for their business wealth and personal wealth. A few days was all it took for anything non personal to be collected for Abasi who referenced things back and forth before taking this evidence to Ajani who was relaxing after handling some daily work to her advisers. " We may have a Issue...it might also involve one of your siblings and their.....Pet" the latter spoken though almost gritted teeth. Ajani's ears perked up as it involved family " Who? " She pointed at the table before her " lets see what you have " Abasi layed the ledger and evidence down this name keeps coming up they are well known throughout the kingdom fingers into a lot of business and trade exclusively near he wild lands. " Abasi pointed out a few things " these entries show what i'm guessing is that snake Ahri that visited here being bought. And here being sold with this cross mark i'm guessing meaning injured or needed medical aid at that time." Ajani nodded looking to him her voice firm. " Look into this....QIETLY No big raids or attacking no threats even. I want to ID the other sellers and buyers about Ahri. Once you have the evidence there gathered we will look into the next step." Abasi nodded leaving the evidence for her to look over as he strode out of the room meeting with some other investigators giving them names of people and places to look into and urging Ajani's wishes of this to be silent. Abasi joined them dressing in more business tailored clothes posing with some money as a trader a few coins here and there and this puzzle was coming together with the help of the others. It seemed that this person built their wealth on the backs of slavery when a slave was too injured to continue he sold them off to anyone who would take them. One of the investigators had found the buyer or at least what was left of their operation they were from the gathered evidence taking males and females and doing thanks to drugs cross specie breeding then selling of the young as slaves. Hearing this and seeing the gathered evidence made Abasi's stomach turn he wanted to go to the lowlife's home and beat their door in with a Ax then burn them with his bare hands till there was nothing but ashes left. The investigator had to move back as Abasi's anger grew the air around him grew hotter than the normal desert sun under his paws once he moved a little the sand had melted to paw prints of glass on the ground. Calming Abasi thanked them for their aid letting them head off to continue looking while he took this new evidence to Ajani who was equally enraged at the actions sending out orders openly for anyone who had been bought or sold to be found from this businessman to come testify as she was leveling charges of long term slavery and abuse on people to this person. Abasi was sent to the icy lands of Emira to locate Ahri and his Mistress. Abasi hated the cold unable to understand how people enjoy it as he traveled. Arriving he sought out Ahri who had been moved to his new Mistress Eshe meeting with her she called Ahri to her now Abasi had to lay out the facts at hand to him watching him stiffen up in fear. Abasi traveled back home with Eshe and Ahri to see the naga testify in court proceedings. Ahri from what Abasi could tell was more fearful than normal and didn't look that good so he layed off on him not wanting him too scared to talk they needed him to talk to put the blame on the dirt bag who abused many. Abasi spoke calmly to both of them on the trip explaining they found a certain canine who appears guilty of slave trade and abuse. Hearing Abasi say his name Ahri almost went into a panic. Shaking his head some Abasi let Ahri rest till they had arrived and were ready to have him in court noting to Ajani that Ahri looks like hes on deaths doorstep had them all concerned. While in court the Canine was questioned with evidence Abasi had helped gather denies and lies were told that made Abasi almost snarl in anger hours passed with questions being asked many different ways to trip him up but soon came Ahri's turn he looked horrible and scared but grew a spine and told the truth until the suspect spoke up that Ahri had killed someone he needs punished by the law of being hung or beheaded you could almost see the color drain from his face tears spilling forth Abasi moved in with other guards calming the crowd Abasi himself placed a angry glare at this Canine giving a sharp barking command for him to sit and be silent. Eshe helped lead Ahri out to hopefully rest Abasi and a few of Ajani's chosen guards kept them safe and watched over as they took the naga to the guest chambers. Seeing he looked a little better Eshe left him to get some water sensing something Abasi went to check on them and like Eshe witnessed Ahri's change dark cold almost just hate radiated off of him as color drained making him monochrome Eshe tried to draw closer and call to him Ahri's voice had become calm seething self hatred seemed to roll off him like waves of water Abasi drew a little closer as Eshe did then Ahri lashed out seemingly out of nowhere a bladed whip formed in his hand tearing a gash in the floor before Eshe. Abasi drew his pole arm and pulled Eshe back glaring at Ahri in his new state ready to attack or defend Eshe. Ahri's all black eyes locked onto Abasi and without warning the whip moved faster that he could track cutting across one of his legs then a arm even wrapping and cutting as it drew back on his torso. It moved like the naga's own body could leaving Abasi bleeding and wincing visibly but holding his ground. Eshe Screamed out her eyes glowing like miniature suns making Ahri cower back away form her into a corner of the guest room Abasi stepped forward painfully putting himself between them raising the weapon. " That's a certain change in you snake....too bad now you attacked us I don't want to hurt you but if you give me no choice ill put you down. " Ahri glared at Abasi raising a hand to attack the whip vanished this time it looked like needles of darkness like a wall coming at them both dropping the weapon Abasi turned his back to use his body as a shield to Eshe he grunted painfully as several of them stabbed his back and legs like needles only cold as ice. Eshe pushed Abasi aside her eyes blindingly bright she raised her hand trapping Ahri in a orb of light. Picking up his weapon Abasi turned to the trapped Naga leveling it to attack. With a smirk Abasi chained him yanking on the bindings to lead him out he was to be executed in public for his crimes shoving him down knelt over a wood block Abasi wished he could put this scum down but the headsman would do it. The headsman was a large bull far larger than Abasi wielding a clean and very honed ax nodding to Abasi who stepped aside weapon ready with guards in case the criminal tried to run surprisingly he didn't the bull raised his ax and in one swift swing brought it down cutting the head cleanly from the body with a spray of blood. Justice had been done according to the law Others cleaned up after the body so it could be taken by family or buried where other criminals were. Ahri had seen the execution and looked relived that this person couldn't hurt him anymore. Eshe took Ahri out to shop and get his mind off things now that he was feeling better Ajani and Abasi followed suit keeping watch. Abasi worked harder to keep a eye on the three of them it wasn't easy Eshe seemed kind of scatter brained when it came to buying clothes or jewelry. When they had gotten back to the palace a aid brought word to Abasi who nodded understanding ready to pass the information along the aid also handed him a parchment and key to pass along. At dinner Abasi come closer to Ahri " We took all that creeps holdings...we found evidence of others but so far they are gone so the holdings worth is now yours according to the law. " Abasi handed the naga a rolled parchment and key to a bank box before sitting back down in his seat Ahri seemed confused looking at it so Eshe opened the parchment and explained what it said to him surprised that now Ahri had the wealth to start his own city if he so wished. Ahri chose to make the estate a orphan home and school with the wealth giving it to them rather than keeping it. Abasi nodded approving of his wishes to help others a very honorable thing to do. After their meal came the sad departure of Ahri and Eshe. Abasi shadowed them as a guard till they left the kingdom giving them a send off he felt a little different for Ahri now respecting him a little more and understanding that Ahri NEEDS Eshe as much as Eshe really wants to have someone like Ahri around. With a firm spur Abasi got his mount into a run to head home to someone he needed in his life and that was Ajani. Though part of him did feel that Ajani deserved someone of more noble upbringing he pushed those thoughts aside Ajani was his and no man would take her from him.
