Yeah I know, too many series are going on, I should focus on one at a time before moving onto another one. I know that so don't say it otherwise you won't get anymore of any series, I am working on the other series but working on one brings new ideas for other stories and if I don't write them down I can't think straight and focus on a single story.

You know the deal, votes and comments.

Throughout time battles have been waged and kingdoms have fallen, the world has seen much destruction and blood has stained the earth since the dawn of time, in the several kingdoms that now rule the world on all fronts weapons have been forged and armies raised as have large walls and castles to protect their lands that they cling so tightly to.

In the kingdom of Teldon a siege was being preformed and a large army pouring into the castles court yard from several holes in the castle wall, after pillaging the large village outside of the castle walls and raising it to the ground and letting the fires burn on as they take the castle.

Inside the castle the royal guards work intensely to hold the castles main door as the enemy forces ram it over and over again with a large steel tipped battering ram, shouts to hold the defense as shouts from the enemies to smash the doors down continued being shout out over and over again by the furs in charge.

The guards inside were all standing in front of the poorly barricaded door before a large lion wearing shinning silver armor stepped forth, drawing his large broadsword before turning to his men "We are the Royal Guards of Teldon, we will not surrender anything to these fools, the only thing they will receive is a quick death" shouts of agreement from the other guards were heard.

The lion looked over his men slowly seeing fear and determination on most of their faces, all but one, the human stood silently with an emotionless expression as he stared at the door, he was a brown haired human with brown eyes, nothing special about him save for his skill with his blade which wasn't a normal long or broad sword but a curved scimitar that he had forged himself. His name was Eric and even though he was only nineteen he could easily be considered a master with a sword though even the lion was a bit uneasy but the emotionless gaze the boy wore on his face.

The lion moved over to the human "Eric, I want you to go down to the lower levels of the castle and join the guards that are posted outside the black door, understand" the human looked up at the taller lion, the human was a head and a half smaller than the lion who was nearly seven feet tall himself.

Nodding the human turned with his sword in his left hand, he only wore a chest plate with no shoulder guards or anything protecting his stomach, shin and arm guards were also worn, he needed freedom of movement for fighting with his weapon, he had found that speed was very good for fighting fully armored opponents. Eric makes his way down the hall before stopping in front of a tapestry of two lions fighting, pushing the tapestry aside showing the stone wall behind it before pushing on the rock firmly and soon an entire section of the wall slides open showing a hidden passage before shifting into stairs that lead down into the darkness of the lower level of the castle.

Pushing the section of the wall closed behind him before he starts down the stairs, the darkness being cut through with glowing white gems that hung from the ceilings though it gave the stairs more of an ominous feel but Eric ignored the growing tension in his stomach, keeping his expression emotionless as he reaches the bottom of the stairs, the blackened room being lit by old fashioned torches along with glowing stones.

Directly from the stair case a large black metal door was built directly into the stone wall that was equally just as black and with strange symbols carve and painted onto them with white and red paint, the five other guards immediately tensed when they saw Eric coming toward them before slowly relaxing while a grey wolf approached the coming human.

"Hey Eric what are you doing down here" the wolf asked curiously as the human stopped in front of him

"Was told to come down and guard the black door by Commander Farco, so here I am, down here, in the dark, guarding a damn door" the human made a point to stretch out the four pieces of his sentence, he'd rather been up top fighting the oncoming enemy then down in a dark room with some others to look after a door.

The wolf nodded with a chuckle "Yeah, I know how you feel Eric, I'd rather be up there as well but an order is an order" the wolf turned and walked back toward the door with the human behind him

"So, did anyone ever find out what's behind it" Eric asked looking over the large steel door that was at least eight feet tall and seven feet wide and covered in symbols and scripture.

The wolf looked over the door as did the other guards "No, only the top of the top have ever been in there, the King, Queen, Seeress, Head Preists and Commander are the only ones that I've seen go in there, other than that no one's allowed to even be down in this room save for the guards" a feline explained gripping his spear with his left paw as the sound of shouts could be heard coming from up the stairs

"Seems like the enemy has made their way inside" the canine says slipping his helmet onto his head and pulling a spear from the wall, getting ready for the impending attack.

The human and wolf continued looking at the door "You ever wonder what they keep so heavily guarded Eric" the wolf asked before looking up the stairs

"A heavy obsidian steel door covered in sacred religious marks and magical scriptures, locked down deep under a heavily guarded castle where only the most holy and the rulers of the Kingdom may enter...hell no, I don't even want to think what may be behind such a door" Eric answers before turning around and pulling his blade from its sheath.

The six Teldon guards stood in a line with Eric and his wolf friend in the middle as they listened to the echoes that came from the darkened stairs on the main level of the castle, as minutes passed the noises and echoes of screams had died down leaving only the silence that left the six guards on a knifes edge, unsure as to what they should do at the moment. Going up and moving into the castle hall would reveal the secret passage to any enemy that might be there so staying put was the option that they had chosen and soon the minutes drew on toward a hour mark leaving the six guards even more on edge.

Suddenly a large explosion shook the walls of the small room as smoke flowed into the room as light from the fading sun flowed down into the dark room as the six guards readied themselves for whatever was coming, Eric immediately drawing his sword and throwing the sheath away as two furs moved to either side of the hall ready to cut down whatever come for them. Waiting as the sound of several boot steps could be heard coming down the stairs. The six guards stood ready as the shadows could be seen being cast down the stairs before a figure could be seen and the two guards standing against the walls jumped out and thrust their spears forward to ambush the men coming down.

Eric stared as did the three other guards waiting to see who was coming for them but the two guards were suddenly send soaring back slamming against the ground at Eric's feet, gazing at the stares seeing a male black wolf and a female cougar step into the room. Both were dressed in strange looking armor, the tall black wolf wore equally black armor that was donned with cruel spikes that were curled and twisted to the right and left, the only part of his body that was unarmored was his head though it was also covered by a large cloaked hood that cast a shadow over his main features.

The cougar was dressed in more normal armor, greaves, chest plate though all were equally black and menacing looking as the wolfs, the cougar standing near half a head over the wolf with rippling muscles though and brandishing a large bastard sword though the wolf seemed to be unarmed but the way the two guards were thrown he had to be a magic user of some kind. Stepping forward the wolf pulls his hood back showing that there were two slash scares on his cheeks and piercing blue eyes that would make even the bravest warrior coward in fear should they be cast upon them, the wolf looks past the four remaining guards toward the large door behind them.

The cougar steps forward only to be held back by the black wolf, Eric looks over to his friend seeing him glaring angrily at the black wolf and cougar, the two guards that had been killed were both of his friends and soon he yelled out in anger, pulling his sword above his head before charging forward. Eric blinked and reached out with his left hand seeing his friend swing his sword down toward the wolfs head only to freeze mere inches from his head, blinking as he looks down the wolf seeing that the black wolfs right gauntlet was mere inches from his armored chest, the gauntlet was just as black as his armor with spikes curved back from each knuckle. Staring at the gauntlet as a feeling builds in his stomach and chest until suddenly the sound of cracking rang out, Eric's stared in amazement as he saw his friend's armor crack and then shatter like glass before blood burst from his back and he fell to the ground without another move.

Eric as well as the two other fur guards gazed in complete astonishment as they gazed at the wolfs corps, the way his armor shattered and the black wolf just standing there without a weapon and all but his fist raised at his waist, the other two guards immediately began trembling though Eric gritted his teeth angrily as his right fist trembled in anger as it gripped his sword. The black wolf stepped forward and thrusted his right fist out and a large gust of wind burst past Eric and the large black door behind them was blown open by an unseen force, glaring forward partially from fear and the other part being pure anger at seeing his fallen friend laying at the black wolfs feet.

Eric gritted his teeth firmly as the other two guards moved behind him, mainly from fear but also gathering some courage from him as they watched the cougar step in front of the wolf fully this time, pulling her bastard sword from her shoulder and pointing it at the human and two furs with a smirk on her muzzle. Eric didn't flinch as he continues glaring at the cougar with the two furs immediately pointing their spears toward the cougar, Eric was the first to charge with the two furs behind him though with a mighty swing of the cougars sword one of the furs was sliced in two, Eric and the other having the intelligence to duck under such a mighty swing while the other tried blocking the blade with the shaft of his spear.

Eric immediately lunged forward after ducking under the cougars attack, flipping his sword between his fingers and holding it in a reversed stance and slashing toward the cougar's side, aiming for the exposed part of her side where her armor didn't shield her, the cougar however was combat hardened and knew her armors strengths and weaknesses very well. Seeing the human lunge forward she immediately brought her right knee up slamming it into the humans exposed stomach, his armor was built for speed and he was indeed faster than her but he was inexperienced in real combat, the blow from the cougars knee knocked more than the wind from his stomach as some of his breakfast was thrown up before the cougar grabbed the back of his armor and threw him across the room, landing on the steel door that had been knocked down by the wizard wolf.

The remaining guard fur had taken the opportunity to flee while the cougar was busy fighting with Eric, his courage being dashed as Eric was thrown like a doll through the air, the wolf offered no resistance as the cheetah passed him and ran up the stairs leaving the human to face the enemy alone. Eric however was unmoving as the taste of vomit stained his tongue and his lungs soar from having the air forced from them, his eyes were hazed as tears leaked from them unable to be controlled as Eric slowly rolled himself to his hands and knees and wiping his eyes of the accursed tears before he looked around for his sword.

"You could be quite the warrior, still ready to fight even though your bested in many ways" a deep voice rang out making Eric look over his shoulder toward the wolf as the cougar stood there with her sword resting on her shoulder and a smile playing over her muzzle

"Though a warrior should not throw his life away for something he doesn't even understand" this confused Eric a bit as he pushed himself up, hunching over with his hands on his knees.

The wolf stepped forward, the cougar stepping aside as he did "You are an odyssey among many warriors and defiantly here in this kingdom, you choose speed for defense, you have the courage to stay and fight where as your King and Queen have fled with their tails between their legs along with nearly every other 'royal' member" the wolf made a point to make the word 'royal' stand out, obviously one who disliked royalty.

Looking past the human into the room that the door kept hidden "Why not look at what you are here to protect, what 'your King' has sent you down here to give your life for rather than have you help save the many people who now lay dead in the streets of what was Teldon" raising his right gauntlet covered paw toward the room behind Eric letting him know it was alright to turn around.

Eric slowly turned his head to look at what was behind him, inside the room it was completely black, the walls floor and ceiling were completely black, in the middle of the room was a table alter wrapped in chains and holy scripture and parchments and on top of the alter rested two gauntlets. The gauntlet closest to Eric was completely silver though had crimson symbols marking it where as the gauntlet next to it was obsidian with dark purple scripture marking it, the heavy chains had scripture written on each chain link and wrapped tightly around the gauntlets as if they were the doors to hell itself just waiting to be opened to let the king of hell Basiet free.

Blinking as he glared at the gauntlets, anger swelling in his stomach as he looked over the two pieces of armor that were chained to the alter before he looked back at the wolf who was patiently waiting for the human to look back toward him

"You see, your 'King' wanted you to give your life for those, is your life worth two pieces of metal" Eric had to think as the wolf asked the question, 'Is my life worth this' he asked himself several times over and over in his mind before looking at the ground.

Eric's eyes fell to the ground in front of him seeing his sword laying there about a yard in front of him but he immediately looked past that seeing the body of his wolf friend and anger raised once again though this time, it was all directed at the black wolf. How could he even think of betraying his Kingdom, not the King for he had abandoned the Kingdom and its people, Teldon was lost but Eric was still here, the gauntlets had to be of some kind of importance for this sorcerer to make his way down to the lowest part of the castle for them.

Closing his eyes and steadying himself before he dashed forward, the wolf lifted his head slightly as he watched the human grab his sword and charge him, slashing at the wolfs throat only to have it immediately blocked with the sound of metal breaking echoing through the room. Eric glared forward as he watched his sword break in half as the black wolf raised his right arm, the black gauntlet that covered his right arm having broke though his sword as if it was nothing but a piece of wheat.

"I admire such dedication...even if it's for a lost purpose" the wolf closed his eyes, his move was so fast that Eric only saw a blur as the gauntlet was thrusted toward his chest and a force sliced through Eric, a build forming in his chest as he was suddenly blown back through the air the back and front of his armor being blown away like nothing as he was sent through the air.

Smashing into the alter that the gauntlets rested upon the chains being broken and the silver gauntlet falling down between Eric's legs as he lay motionless with blood pouring from his chest and back, staining the black stone under him as the wolf lowered his first with the cougar stepping up behind him.

"You wanted him to join us" she asked curiously as her tail waved from the left to right as the wolf started toward the room

"He was young, courageous, dedicated and honorable, he would have been a very good warrior to have with us though it is a pity that his honor and dedication had tied him to this lying Kingdom that was once Teldon" the wolfs voice was cold and deep as he stepped over the door.

Eric stared at the ground between his legs as he felt his blood pouring from his wounds, he could see his blood flowing down between his legs and he could also see the silver gauntlet though his vision was fading in and out and his thoughts were fading though he couldn't even think straight to form a thought anymore, his body was going cold and numb, his eye lids were heavy and it was becoming harder to breath as more of his blood flowed out.

As Eric's eyes began to close a voice came to him, a lovely feminine voice that was soft as silk yet demanded respect "Do you wish to die Eric" the voice flowed through his mind and seemed to bring him back to full alertness though his eyes remained dead and half closed as his thoughts began to form again.

"Do you wish to live Eric" the feminine voice came once again as Eric's mind started to work

"Of course I want to live" his reply came though only in his mind, his lips unmoving as a giggle flowed through his mind

"I can give you what you desire Eric but the cost will be great, do you accept" the voice asked and silence followed as Eric thought over what the cost could possibly be though if he didn't accept he knew exactly what the cost was

"I accept" his reply came shortly after and another giggle rang out.

The wolf suddenly stopped just as he entered the room still standing on the door though just on the edge, gazing down seeing the crimson markings on the silver gauntlet begin to glow and pulse like a heartbeat, a glow also began to form from the wolfs right gauntlet, an extremely dark blue slowly resonating from his gauntlet. Stepping back as several crimson whips like vines lashed out from the gauntlets crimson markings, slashing at the wolf and tearing the end of his cloak in several parts as the cougar charged forward only to be halted by the wolf as the vines retracted back into the gauntlet.

The wolf snarled angrily as the gauntlet slowly floated into the air with the vision of a white anthro dragoness with glowing crimson eyes could be seen though the smile on her face as she looked up toward the wolf couldn't have been more senescing as she slowly turned and disappeared in a flash of white light, the humans body also gone leaving only the cougar and wolf with the black gauntlet.

Eric's eyes slowly opened to the feel of a cool breeze flowing over his form, blinking as he gazed up at the blue sky over head, blinking as he continued gazing at the sky before the face of a dragoness moved into his line of sight, she smiled down at him and caressed his cheek as her crimson eyes gazed down at him with her soft snow white scales shining beautifully in the sunlight. Her features were draconic in total though were smooth and soft like a humans face, two ivory horns has sprouted from her silver hair that hung loosely around her neck and shoulders, she was devoid of any clothing that he could see with his head resting gently in her lap.

"Who are you" Eric's voice came which echoed gently and a familiar giggle came from the dragoness as she ran her clawed paw through his hair

"I am called Leasherria though you may call me whatever you wish Eric" she said petting his head

"How do you know my name" his next question came which echoed once again and was followed by another giggle

"I know everything about you Eric, you and I are now bound in all ways, I know you in every way..." the dragoness slowly lowered her head "and you will know me, my thoughts, my feelings and my body" her lips gently pressed against the humans filling his body with an energy that he had never felt before.

Moving his hands up to gently hold the sides of the dragonesses face as he felt her long forked tongue slip into his mouth, he pressed back into the kiss wanting to feel more of the energy that he was getting but the dragoness pushed him away after only a few moments

"Partake only a little Eric, should you take too much of my power the effects that it will have will slowly destroy you" Eric listened carefully as he panted gazing up at the dragon who smiled down at him and licked his cheek "Soon you will have more and more and more, then you will have me in total Eric and I will have you" she kissed his neck gently "But now, you must wake" her voice became distant and everything faded into darkness leaving Eric alone.

Lifting his head slowly Eric blinked as he stared down at the ground, green grass, he was sitting on grass instead of the stone floor of the castle or the soft grass that was the field that he was just in, lifting his head even more and looking around seeing the remains that was once the Kingdom of Teldon in the distinct to his right. Looking to his left he was able to see the woods that he was bordering on entering

"The Eastern woods, once known as the Ungo forest" pushing himself up with a bit of a grunt, his body felt heavy though he felt energy coursing through him like never before, leaning against the three with his right hand.

After a moment of leaning on the tree he finally realized something, he didn't feel the bark of the tree, looking over he saw the silver gauntlet that was in the castle instead of his normal unarmored arm, pulling the gauntlet in front of him and looking over it seeing his reflection in the polished silver though he didn't see any of the crimson symbols that marked it in the castle.

Looking over the gauntlet before a voice rang out in his mind, the voice of the dragoness "Eric, behind you" blinking and immediately spinning around seeing the lioness commander standing with four guards from the castle standing behind him, each guard holding a bow with a strung arrow at the ready

"Eric" the lion immediately said before hollering out to lower their weapons, several more guards coming from hiding in and behind trees as the lion approached the human.

"Eric, what are you doing here, how did you escape, are you..." the lion stopped mid sentence as he looked at Eric's right arm, freezing in his tracks as his expression turned from relived to on edge before he immediately rushed to Eric and began speaking in a panicked but hushed tone

"Where did you get this, did you open the door" the lion demanded as he gripped the human's gauntleted arm, holding it between them to keep others from seeing.

The lion immediately pulled his paw back as blood sprayed out from between them, Eric and the lion both looking at the gauntlet at the crimson symbols appeared for a brief moment before disappearing once again leaving the lion glaring at Eric before pulling a cloth out and wrapping it around the gauntlet.

"Eric, listen to me well, you must never show this gauntlet to anyone, especially any of the Holy Order, keep your arm covered at all times and claim it as a wound" looking over his shoulder seeing some of his men looking at the curiously and which the lion immediately ordered them to go do something useful rather than stare at his tail all day before looking back to the human "I will arrange safe transport for you tonight Eric and you will leave for Chall."

To say Eric was confused would be an understatement though the lion didn't give him any room for questions before he turned and quickly moved off leaving Eric there with his right arm wrapped up and held in a sling, looking around a bit seeing a few of the other guards staring at him though he couldn't really tell why, being wounded wasn't something to surprised about though looking over himself seeing the large perfectly cut hold in the front and back of his armor and shirt gave him the explanation.

Moving into the middle of the encampment to remove his armor and shirt, getting just a plain white shirt that hung to mid thigh and tossing his other armor away to go through the facade of 'wounded soldier' since putting a left handed soldier out was something no one would do since using a sword with your left hand was considered to be utterly wrong and was enough to warrant a death sentence from the Holy Order that prayed to the Heavenly Gods.

Nightfall soon came onto the small encampment, Eric found that Commander Farco had held the doors as long as possible before ordering his men to retreat, they ran out saving as many of the Teldon people as possible and were even planning to go back for Eric and the other guards at nightfall but with Eric telling him that the others had been killed meant that mission was scrapped.

Eric had been sleeping against a tree when a light kick to his boot woke him up, looking up and seeing Farco standing there with a nod "Time to go Eric, get up" turning the lion quickly made his way into the darkness of the forest with Eric jogging to keep up with him.

"Farco, I understand that you're in a hurry but I need some answers from you" Eric said firmly making the lion stop before giving a large sigh and turning to the smaller human who looked up with a determined expression

"Your right, I can tell you a little bit because the story behind this would take far too long and I will allow a close friend of mine spin that tale for you." Turning and beginning to walk again "That gauntlet is a sacred weapon that was used by the forces of Hell, the generals in Basiets unholy army wore those gauntlets and commanded great power with them, if anyone from the Holy Order saw that you wore such an item you would be executed without question" moving into a small clearing where a fresh horse stood in wait with a bag resting on its saddle.

The lion grabbed the bag and handed it to the human "Here is some previsions, a new set of armor fitted for you and a sword for you left hand, do 'not' under any circumstances use your right hand to wield a sword, your left will get you marked as an unholy warrior and chased from towns and villages were the Holy Orders words are law but that gauntlet will get you killed on sight so take the lesser of two evils."

"Now, you shall ride to Chall, it's a two day ride from here, once there go into the tavern known as Greenwell once there just wait for a person named Quest to come to you, when they do you are in there charge, do whatever they want you to do understand, they will take care of you and keep you safe."

Eric nodded to the lion before moving over and climbing onto the horses back, pulling his right arm from the sling and taking a hold on the reigns "Thank you Farco, I suppose this will be the last time I see you" the lion smiled

"Maybe so, if it's meant to be this way but it was good to know you Eric" Eric smiled and leaned down giving the lions chest a small punch with his left fist, a show of honor and respect

"Keep your sword sharp and your armor thick Farco" the lion chuckled a bit and nodded

"Keep your head down and move swift Eric" Farco replied and the human chuckled back before kicking his heels and the horse charged off in the night toward Chall.
