#46 of Twilight Eros

The morning after is met with board games, a trip to the spa and a little history about what Cindy did before working at Twilight Books. It seems she has more in common with Luna then we knew. We also learn that Spec doesn't care for Ranch dressing too much. There is a real life story behind that.

Thanks to IB: ScottyKat for proof reading and letting Scotty's skunk butt be felt up so often and to zenia for the TE icon

Chapter 46

After everyone rested for a bit it was time for showers. Thankfully, there were enough showers so all three couples could shower at the same time. About twenty minutes later, everyone gathered in the kitchen for a quick, before bed snack. Everyone wore their wolf pack robes. It was nice to have them again as it had been a week since they were dry cleaned.

"I don't care what anyone says, Zenia makes the best silk robes in the world." Said Luna as she spun with her arms out.

"Indeed she does Luna. She is a talented woman."

Everyone turned upon hearing Spencer speak. He walked in wearing the signature red, Wolf Pack robe. It was easily noticeable as it had been seen in several pictures. Thea stood next to him in a jet black robe similar to the ones Luna and Cindy wore. Scotty couldn't help but stare as she looked even sexier then before.

The Silvermane twins snapped their fingers to get Scotty's attention. Everyone one else laughed at Scotty's as he realized he was staring. He apologized as Thea walked forward and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Don't apologize Scotty, its flattering. It also makes a girl feel attractive and wanted... Not that I ever have that problem in that department." She said as she looked back at Spencer who gave a low, sensual growl as he looked over his wife. The twins shuddered softly but Cindy thought it was cute as she cuddled up next to Spec.

"Well, we wont keep you young love birds. There are chocolate chip cookies in the penguin cookie jar and milk in the fridge. Luna and Spec know where the glasses are. Sweet dreams everyone." Thea reached out and gave Scotty a pat on the rear, causing him to jump slightly. Luna snickered as Thea took a couple of cookies and left with Spencer. Luna turned to Scotty with a grin.

"Well, aren't you a popular skunk?"

"It would seem so." Scotty replied as he turned to Luna. Spec reached out and groped Scotty's rear as well when he wasn't looking. He turned to Spec with a confused look and asked, "Normally I don't mind, but what was that for?"

"Didn't want to be left out." Spec said as he got a couple of cookies for himself and Cindy.

The morning after was met with Thea cooking bacon and eggs with oven baked French toast in the kitchen. Spec walked in with Cindy as he rubbed his eyes under his glasses while yawning. Luna and Scotty both yawned as they entered. Cindy was the first to greet Thea.

"Good morning Thea. Where is Spencer."

"Morning Cindy. He'll be down her in a bit. He's getting ready for after breakfast."

Spec moaned at his mother's statement as he rubbed his eyes again before turning to Scotty.

"We'll Scotty, hope you weren't planning on doing anything for a bit today." said Spec as he adjusted his glasses. Scotty wasn't sure what to make of what Spec said until Spencer walked into the kitchen with his German army helmet on. "Good morning everyone, who wants coffee or an espresso drink?" Spencer asked as he brought out the coffee beans and coffee grinder.

Everyone said yes to coffee except for Spec and Thea, who asked for a latte. Spencer patted Spec on the back and said, "Be a dear and make your mother her drink, thanks Junior." Spec looked confused as Scotty and Cindy continued to look at Spencer's helmet.

"Wait a sec, why am I the one making espresso drinks when you offered dad?" asked Spec as he tried to reach for a piece of bacon. "Because you make them just the way I like Junior." Responded Thea as she smacked her son's hand just before he got to the bacon plate. "Wait till the eggs are done Junior. Oh and can you put a little vanilla in it too? Luna, please set the table, it will be ready in a few minutes."

Luna gave a soft grunt before getting the plates and silverware as her brother began preping the espresso machine. He filled the steamer and got the milk jug as Cindy and Scotty watched the Slivermanes move about the kitchen. They looked like a typical family with the exception of Spencer, still in his army helmet. Scotty leaned over to whisper to Spec.

"Hey, is it normal for your dad to wear an army helmet to breakfast?"

"No, he only wears that thing when we play gambit. He really gets into that game." replied Spec as he started to steam the milk for the lattes. Luna returned to grab the syrup and butter as Thea finished putting the food onto plates. Spencer's coffee was about half way done pouring as Luna and Thea brought the food to the kitchen table.

"Scotty, why don't you and Cindy head to the dinning room? Me and Junior will be there as soon as the coffee is done." said Spencer as the coffee maker started to sputter. Spencer filled four mugs with coffee as Spec made the lattes. Everyone sat in the same position as dinner as the two gave everyone their drink.

"Thank you dear." said Thea as she took her drink from Spec and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Once Spec was seated, everyone started to put food onto their plates as they took turns using the cream and sugar for their coffee. Spencer was the exception as he had his black.

"So Scotty, are you ready for a game a Gambit with me and Junior?" asked Spencer as he cut his French toast into smaller cubes. "I am, but what about everyone else?" asked Scotty as he added cream and sugar to his coffee. Luna looked up as she had a fork full of eggs in her mouth. She was also curious as to what she would be doing today if Scotty was going to play board games.

"Well, I was thinking us girls could go to a spa or shopping." Thea said before sipping her drink. She continued after setting her glass back down. "We should also decide what to do for dinner tonight while we are out doing our thing."

"Pizza." said Spencer and Spec at the same time as they took a moment to stop eating. They both resumed eating as Thea looked at them with a "Typical" look on her face. She smiled as she huffed and turned to Luna and Cindy. "Well I know what my boys want. Does that sound good with everyone one else?"

Everyone else nodded as they continued to enjoy their breakfast. Spencer had to hold his helmet up a couple of times as he leaned forward to eat. Spec couldn't help but chuckle.

"Come on dad, there is a reason why you don't wear anything on your head while you eat in the military. If you insist on wearing that, at least use the chin strap to hold it in place."

"Junior, we both know I'm not in the military. However, I must wear this to prepare for the game of Gambit! It is a tradition." Spencer said with much gusto while holding up a finger. "Also, I'm not wearing the chin strap because I can never adjust it right." he added before eating some of his bacon. Thea leaned over and whispered to Cindy, "That's why I married that man."

After breakfast, Thea did the dishes so the boys could get to their game. When she was done, she went to change clothing to go shopping. Spencer handed Scotty the same army helmet he tried on the day before as Spec put on the fez.

"Hey Spec, why do you wear a fez but we are wearing helmets?"

"Well I had to wear a helmet until I beat dad at least once. After that I was allowed to wear what I wanted. That and I like my fez."

Scotty took a second to process what he heard as he lifted an eye brow. "You have a strange family, you know that right?"

"So says the skunk with the father who is an international sexual behavior researcher." replied Spec. Scotty blinked a couple of times before saying, "Touche." Spencer cleared his throat and got both of their attention. They both said "Sorry." as they took their seats around the table. Spencer handed Scotty the rule book to look over as he and Spec started to set up the pieces. Scotty had played before but it had been awhile. Before long, Scotty rolled the dice and the game began.

The girls' started their spa trip with a cup of herbal tea along with a milk bath and cream mask. After soaking for about an hour it was a quick shower before full body messages. The final activity was a manicure and pedicure with foot massage. They were served finger sandwiches made of cucumber and a dill and pepper yogurt spread. Cindy especially enjoyed the foot massage before having her nails taken care of.

The girls were offered several choices of nail color once the foot rubs were done. Luna stuck with her favorite baby blue and Cindy picked a dark purple. Thea was a little different as she picked a read that was so dark it almost looked black. As they had their nails painted, Thea decided to get to know Cindy better.

"So, what did you do before working with Junior Cindy?"

Luna looked over while snacking on a finger sandwich. She just realized she never found out what Cindy did before Twilight books either. Cindy seemed hesitant to answer as she let out a sheepish moan.

"Well... Believe it or not, I used to work for Orion Publishing"

Luna and Thea were both a little shocked to hear that Cindy used to work for Wolf Pack magazine's top competitor.

"What did you do there?" asked Luna as she had another finger sandwich.

"I was the owner's personal assistant." Cindy replied with a sigh as she had a bite of her own sandwich. Thea was genuinely shocked at this news. Luna tried to say something but had trouble finding the words. Eventually Luna was able to say, "You were the personal assistant of Boris 'the Jackass' Orion? How did you put up with that line of work?" Cindy let out an annoyed moan as she remembered her time at Orion Productions.

"Well the pay was good incentive to stay for a little bit. Honestly, his crappy pick up lines weren't even that bad at first. But that wolf just doesn't know how to take 'no' for an answer." said Cindy as a young mouse continued to paint her finger nails. Luna smirked as she sat back and said, "No kidding." Cindy caught that last part as she asked, "Have you dealt with him before?" Luna and Thea both sighed before Luna spoke.

"'Orion', as he likes to be called, has tried to get me to work for him for some time now. He relies on shock and awe but his photography department has always been crap. He wishes he had some one who knows how to use a camera half as well as me."

Cindy raised her eye brows upon learning this information. She sat back but noticed Thea was looking at her now.

"But are you happy working with Junior?"

"I am Thea. I mean I make enough money to pay my bills but more importantly I have a boyfriend who I love and a boss that doesn't try to get into my pants every other day."

"Well he doesn't have to try because you let him Cindy." said Luna sarcastically. The spa worker's doing the girls' nails all let out semi nervous moans as they didn't know how to react to what they heard. The girls just laughed as Cindy and Thea both knew Luna didn't mean anything mean by what she said.

After a wonderful day, Thea tipped the Spa workers and the girls headed home. On the drive back, Cindy called Spec on her cell.

"Hey big boy, how are you all holding up?"

"Well we haven't killed each other yet, so that's a good sign." She could hear Scotty call from the background, "I'm winning!" followed by a "Beginner's luck! Roll the dice!" from Spencer. Spec growled lowly over the phone as Cindy looked confused on her end.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, Scotty has just been getting a lot of high rolls on us. He has a very high chance of winning this game. My dad... He's taking it well." As soon as Spec finished his sentence, she could hear Spencer call out, "How did you get a double six roll again?!"

"If my mom can't hear what is going on I'd suggest you tell her she'll need to calm dad down when she gets back."

Cindy smirked as she could tell the boys were having fun.

"Hey, I wanted to let you know we are heading back now and we are going to pick up the pizzas. Is there anything else you guys want?"

Spec pulled away from the phone for a bit as he ask Spencer and Scotty if they want anything else. Cindy couldn't make out what they were saying. It wasn't long before Spec was back on.

"I'll have a salad. Just pick something out you'd think I'd like but no ranch dressing please. Also get some cheesey bread and some wings. And we are thinking four medium pizzas of different types we can all share from. We have drinks over here already."

Spec was interrupted by Spencer who informed him it was his turn. Spec told his father to calm down as he picked up the dice.

"Hey, I'm going to get going. Dad is being antsy and it seems he's in a hurry to lose." Spencer responded with a loud "Hey!" as Spec said. "I'll see you in a bit Cindy." She smiled and replied, "See you soon." before hanging up.

"So Spec said wings, cheesey bread and a salad for him. Oh and four different medium pizzas. Also it seems Scotty is wining Thea so Spec said to be ready to calm down Spencer."

Thea smiled as she knew how Spencer got when it came to board games. Luna simply smiled as she brought up the number to a pizza place.

"I wonder what victory hat Scotty will pick out if he wins."

Cindy wasn't sure what Luna meant by that as she sat back in the back seat.

"You have a strange family. Not that I'm one to speak."

"Well all things considered, you and Scotty are pretty much family now Cindy." said Thea as they continued to drive.
