Pokemon Merged Heroes Ch1
#1 of Stories
Chapter 1: Welcome to the World of Pokemon! I mean Humanity!
The Sky rumbled in the dark clouds overlooking the small city, the black clouds flashing white as lighting bounced around inside the clouds, the skies darkening the city as Thunder echoed from the clouds, sounding more like a roar than the noise of electricity. Sound stopping for a pause before it soon returned in the form of a deafening crack as lightning cracked the silence like a godly whip. An outline of a Tornado soon slithered from the clouds, the noise of the Howling wind following as it soon reaching the soil of earth, hitting the forest outside of the City as the night passed on while beings fell inside the wild Cyclone towards the surface of the Forest.
The next morning, a young man awoke to the sound of a gentle breeze, knocking his blinds as he'd left the window open during the night, he groaned in low, incoherent growl as he reached to his nightstand and grabbed his phone, checking the time as he rubbed is eyes with a second hand. He glanced around his room, Black and white striped covers on his bed was all he could aside from his Wooden desk, Laptop and Chair, gaze looking up to see a small closet with some expertly packed dress clothes, shoes and a shoebox. A mirror beside the closet and a Dresser followed by the door of his small room as he got out of bed, stretching as his joints and back cracked in response to their disturbed slumber.
This was Taur Caliso, Average Gamer and Pokemon Fanatic, while he may not have been the best Pokemon battler, he did brag about been a Pokemon Professor, something which was a result from his ego and his years of playing the Monster taming video game. And he was unemployed at the moment, sort of, his parents had the idea for Taur to housesit while they went on their vacation to Africa, the young man had no quarrels with this agreement and had been paid on the full before they left, the catch was that was also his food budget and Taur liked eating a lot.
"Do do dooo~..." He hummed, the theme of a Pokemon Center coming inside his head as he noticed his 3DS left on his nightstand as picked up yesterday's clothes he'd neglected to put in the washing as he put them on before heading out of his room and down the hallway, entering the Kitchen as he grabbed the Remote and turned on the television, the display soon lighting up with a News broadcast as he remembered he'd left it on that channel to watch a kid's movie he'd seen growing up.
"-Cloudy skies for the morning followed by the sun shining through as temperature rises throughout the day." The Weatherman spoke as Taur grabbed some honey, wheat biscuits and a bowl as he turned to the kitchen bench and organised his breakfast as he glanced to the news.
"Thanks Terry, A deadly storm has ravaged the Larralog Forest area last night, not only causing trees falling down but also made grounded Airline flights due to the dangerous conditions, Clean-up crews are also reporting numerous new animals are been discovered as the operation goes on." The TV continues as Taur sits down, finishing prepping his breakfast as he watches the television, half paying attention as he flicked through his phone and checking the notifications on his phone.
"-think that it's a travesty and I think that the emergency crews that are working on this disaster should be given much more praise than they already have." One man said, pacing his words in front of the camera as he stood infront of a milk bar, the camera cutting to an elderly woman on a footpath as she starts talking.
"At least it didn't come to our homes and businesses and wreck them like what happened to that forest." She says, looking around before it cut back to the Newsreporter.
"We'll keep you posted, after the brea-" The TV is soon cut off as Taur put the remote down and sighed after finishing his spoonful of breakfast.
"Jeez... This world doesn't seem to be having much good luck." He muttered before finishing his breakfast and putting the bowl in the sink before he squinted at a rather large Pidgeon before it flew off. Taur soon stretched and went back to his home to change before he went out on his morning walk, putting on some sweatpants and a singlet before walking out the front, locking the front door before he started walking east, towards the supposedly wrecked forest.
As he walked, he noted how things changed in such a small time, a small percent of people scanned their surroundings, children looked out the window of their car more as Taur walked past factories, sheds and soon the empty city limits as the Forest was on a small mesa, soon walking to the stairs which led to the forest where a crowd was forming as he heard questions been asked.
"Is it true there's Pokemon in there?" "Are there Pokemon in the forest?" "Is the government planning to keep the Pokemon to themselves?" The people questioned relentlessly, the Clean-up member had two Barriers beside him as a crane on the outside lifted a fallen Tree. However it seemed they were sloppy as Taur noticed that the fence panels didn't extend all the way down, looking back, he noticed that the crowd was too focused on the entrance, the man quietly walked left before reaching the gap in the fences before slowly walking in, branches and leaves under his Sneakers as he looked around, a Scatterbug etching down a tree and a Sentret eating a blue berry were the only things he noticed, keeping quiet as he waved to the two before taking his phone out and recording what he found, the bull soon started walking deeper into the forest, going around a brown, snapped off tree as he continued, his mind racing with thoughts before he spied a large tree, tailow circling around it as apples hung from it.
"Hm. Feeding time." Taur noted before looking around before continuing around the Tailow as he recorded the sight, stopping as a Servine slithered onto the path infront of him, staring with piercing Red eyes, Taur simply gave a slow wave.
"Hello?" He asked with a hint of nervousness as the Servine tilted it's head.
"Servine..." It hissed before the Snake Pokemon slithered past, the bovine sighed in relief as he kept walking before noticing a rather thin Blaziken, it's red feathers coating it's roughly humanoid body were dull and dirty as it's face had scratch marks and dried blood across it's beak, immediately noticing Taur, it jolted away from attempting to reach the High reaching Apples and lit it's grey wrists on fire, red and yellow flames raging on it's arms as Taur stood back and held his arms up, slowly starting to panic as the flames raged on, burning at the Pokemon's wrists with no apparent harm to it.
"Whoa Whoa Whoa!" He called out, the Blaziken staring him down with a analytic stare, Taur slowly taking a single step towards the Firefighter Pokemon.
"Easy now, I'm a friend, I don't want to hurt you..." The bull said softly, Blaziken still staring as Taur now stood on one end of the tree while Blaziken stood opposite, wrists still flaring as Taur looked up, Apples too high for the Blaziken to reach.
"I'll prove it! I'll get you an apple, watch!" He said, jumping up and grabbing a stick and pulling himself up higher as he grabbed a branch but slipped, yelling as he fell to the bottom, still holding the branch as it'd broken off from Taur's pull and weight, The Blaziken soon dowsed it's flames and picked an Apple from the broken off branch and ate it with a solid crunch as it murred, Taur putting the branch down as the Blaziken snapped to him, cautious as Taur kept eye contact, squatting down and picking an Apple up before holding it out for the Avian Pokemon.
"Here?" The Blaziken hastily took it in it's spare claw as it finished the first apple quickly, moving onto the second apple as Taur sighed in relief, knowing it wasn't hostile to him anymore.
"Ok. Cool, you're not as aggressive as I thought." He said, relived as he watched the Blaziken eat.
"Hey... listen: If you come with me, I'll give you more food, some water and maybe clean you a little." The Bovine offered as the Blaziken thought before a chilling cry called from the Tree as a Web latched onto Taur's arm and pulled him towards it as Taur pulled against it, eyes nearly popping out of his sockets when he saw it was an Ariados, Taur of course, had Arachnophobia: Fear of Spiders and soon yelled following with a spasm of his limbs as he flailed in fear.
"NONONO! Piss off! Shoo!" He yelled at the Red and black creature before he felt the webbing losen as he spied Blaziken alight in burning flames as it tackled Ariados, the spider sent tumbling as it's fang cut the webbing, Taur soon attempting to pull off the webbing to no avail as the Blaziken soon put a claw on his shoulder, Taur looking over his shoulder to see the Blaziken with a pained expression as it'd hurt its shoulder from the attack Taur had thought was Flare Blitz. The bovine nodded.
"It's ok, we'll go to my house and patch you up." He smiled as Blaziken blinked before nodding as Taur walked with the Blaziken back to the break in the fence as he kept trying to pull the incredibly tough webbing off his arm, following with swears, noticing some of the Pokemon playing or staring, Taur discreetly grabbed his phone as he started taking photos of the nearby Pokemon as Blaziken watched curiously, a notification from his friend in town popped up as he took photos as the two walked back to the city, a Shadowy Pokemon watching with a shiny eye as it's blue bead shone in the shadows.
