Burgerpants stood tall at the doors of his store, a small grey backpack swinging on one of his shoulders as he did. He pressed his paw against the wall, almost effortlessly finding the switches to turn of the store lights. The cat walked out of the shop, the door locking automatically as he passed a group of monsters waiting outside of the broken elevator. Metatton had warned the feline not to tell them that the elevator was out of order in fear of damaging the whole franchises seemingly flawless reputation, and so he didn't, shrugging idly before leaving the building. He looked down at the dusty orange floor, his tail swinging behind him as he fixed the cap upon his head. Burgerpants had planned to surprise one of his fairly special friends, who happened to be the guy that sold Nice cream with a glamburger which he'd managed to sneak out of the shop. He turned a few corners, his paws pattering against the ground before finally finding his way to his friends store.

"H-hey!" the cat greeted, a dorky expression plastered upon his face. "You okay?.." he added, noticing a small look of discontent on the rabbits face.

"Yeah! I'm alright, just sold out and stuff, which- which is totally fine.. It's just I get paid for the amount of hours I work and not for how many Nice creams I sell.. and given that the next shipment of ingredients is due from snowdin in quite a few days I'm gonna be bankrupt." The rabbit explained eagerly, a hushed tone to his sweet voice as he gestured to the two guards- each lapping at a Nice cream cone. "I don't suppose Metatton is open for employing a temp worker in the meantime, or I'm really not going to be able to afford rent." He asked nervously, a small sweat breaking out at he scratched the back of his head, looking down at the slightly smaller cat.

"Uh- I guess I could ask.. A-Anyway.. I got you a little something to improve your mood" the cat smiled, giggling softly before unzipping his backpack quickly. He took out the greasy, and still warm glamburger, fully extending his arm out to hand it to the rabbit.

"Oh yes! Oh, oh yes I've been so hungry all day" the Nice Cream guy gleamed with happiness, taking it before upwrapping it and and taking a large bite.. "Shit man, these are good." He said, his voice muffled through the burger. The rabbit was exaggerating, massively- I mean, the burgers were pretty fucking gross but he wanted nothing else but the make the cat happy.

"Hah! Yeah, well anyway.. I was thinking- if you don't get a job and you can't afford to pay your roomies rent you're more than welcome to stay at my place for a little bit- that'd be re- that'd be really nice" he suggested, shrugging before cocking his head to the side.

The rabbit's eyes lit up, a wide grin curling upon his lips before inhaling sharply. "Yes, that'd be really helpful man.. just while I try to pick myself back up- economically wise anyway ah-aha..ah" he laughed nervously.

"Well um, I'm heading off now anyway- care to join me?" the cat asked, hoisting his bag back onto his back before taking a few steps into the direction of the riverman, or riverwoman.. it doesn't really matter".
