Welcome to the Dorms
A guy goes to check into his dorm for the semester, and finds someone's already there.
This is my first attempt at a real example story I did for a friend to advertise my work. Critique is welcome as are commissions if you like what what you see.
It was the usual day at the end of summer. Hot, but starting to cool down compared to the last heatwave everyone has been complained about. All the stores are advertising back to school sales, cool weather clothing, and warnings of the pumpkin spice season that ends up fouling up the air in every mall and shopping center. University classes start in a little over a week and those students who are staying at campus housing are finally allowed to enter and get comfortable at what will be their homes for at least the rest of the year. One such student was just arriving. A curious character known as a Kecha Wox, a hybrid of a creature known as a kecha wacha and a more common fox. His silver fur seemed a little fluffier than what a more common fox would have. His slightly rounded gut making him look even fluffier. His massive ears not helping the fact that he looks like a living stuffed animal. He was rather glad to be returning to this place, enjoying the fact he only has to share a place with a single roommate.
After going through the winding halls and maze like interior he finally found his room. Dorm 404. The fact that he was able to find it made him chuckle to himself as he entered. It's a nice common space with a small kitchen, living space, and three doors. One of them leading to a bathroom and the other two leading to single bedrooms. One of which was mostly closed, but not fully, and one could hear soft moans and grunting from it. His eyes light up in surprise as he hears the unmistakable lewd activity, a deep blush piercing the fur on his face, and devious smile spread across his face as he quietly put down his bags and crept to the slightly opened door. What he saw, was something he had only heard of before. His jaw went slack as he observed a snow leopard, bent over on the bed, with what looks to be a fox shoved up to his waist up her rump. "Keldric? Did you meet your roommate yet?"

The mouse girl looks something over, raises an eye and looks back up at him

At this point Keldric looks a little stunned, he starts thinking of what he could possibly say. After about two to three minutes of awkward silence he finally gives an awkward smile, shrugs, points at the room number on the open door and replies.
"Well... Uh... Room mate not found?"
