#7 of Lucario's World of Pokemon

Probably not what you guys may have been hoping to next see from me, but, call this something to hold you over...or don't, it's up to you. Anyway, I'll let Valor take things from here...

Lucario's World of Pokémon

Part Five--Fun Facts!*

*fun not guaranteed

Hello Everyone, Valor here! Yep, my first time doing one of these. I actually requested to do this one cause...well, I figured it would be safer than some of the other ones. *Valor smiles sheepishly*

Anyway, this one is just gonna be some interesting facts and little bits of information about our world, and about some of us as well! So, let's get started!

So, first up, my mom's name, and Galen's mom's name. No, they aren't the same, but they do share an interesting similarity. See, Galen was born in May, and his mom's name is April. Then me, well I was born in August, and my mom's name is June. So yeah, nothing to shocking certainly, but an interesting coincidence...or at least I've always thought so...

Another one about names! My and Tamashii's son Zyle is named after a friend who gave his life for our sake, as you know if you read Love and Aura. We also considered naming him Azure, the name of a Lucario who...well died in a similar fashion. What you may not know is that we also considered a few other names, including but not limited to Riley(after Mashii's dad, an idea we scrapped because we decided that there were enough Riley's with the existing two), Aaron(after Sir Aaron, a famous Guardian of Aura), and Cobalt...I'm not really sure where that last one came from, but there it is.

Next up, Galen, despite being only 25 at the time of Love and Aura, holds the unofficial record for having encountered more legendary and mythical Pokémon than any other living person...bastard just has to win at everything. *ahem*

Also interesting, our world has a smaller population than yours. We only have a few hundred million, compared to your 7+ billion. This is partly the result of having fewer cities, as well as more "natural" areas, plus there's simple fact that our world isn't as large as yours.

Now, as you may suspect, most trainers don't get their start by visiting a Pokémon Professor and getting one of the three "starter" pokémon for that region. Most trainers get their first pokémon either from their parents, or through the "it followed me home, can I keep it?" method. As such, this leads to very few trainers ever actually owning any starter species, making them a relatively rare sight in Gyms, Contests, and League tournaments.

Now, here's one some of you may have wondered about(or maybe you just don't really care, but LucarioZer0 wants me to mention this anyway) So, now, as you may have noticed, our world is by-and-large a copy of the Pokémon world that you all see in the videogames, with only a few real differences...but one difference may stand out more than others. I refer, of course, to the fact that Pokémon in our world follow the anime rule of only ever saying their own name(not counting for telepathy and legendary Pokémon, that is). Why is this? Well, our universe subscribes to the "humans named each species of Pokémon after the sounds they make" convention(again, excluding legendary Pokémon, who's names were passed down as part of myth and legend from unknown--or maybe even Unown *wink* --sources)

Well, I think I've dropped enough info on you guys for now! *Valor inclines his head in a partial bow* Until Next time!

*Valor steps off screen, only to be replaced by LucarioZer0*

Hey SoFurry Folks! So, this may be the last one of these for a while, cause I'm not sure what topic I would cover next. So, if you have any requests or recommendations about stuff you'd like to see me flesh out about my Pokémon Universe, I'll gladly listen, as long as it's not something I already plan to reveal through the actual stories.

That's all from me folks. Until we meet again!
