Just a quick foray into free-verse poetry. Not much more than unrestrained thought.

My transgressions move me through the chaos that is the world I grow and move in and out on a daily basis of which there is no end of struggles and happiness and falls are a common place where my ancestors have gotten up and kept going if only to hit another wall that I am now climbing up and up towards the sky until I can finally see over the land that my ancestors have left behind for me to see and to discover what it was they held dear to their hearts that were struck through by forged metal and balls shot from cannons from lands far away from across another wall upon which others climb to get to the sky and see the land left by their fathers and mothers who were borne to their mothers and fathers with hopes they do not make the same mistakes growing in the world lest they be swallowed up by a greater beast hidden within the world that is the rest of the climbers struggling to gain purchase on a slick face and falling down some distance before getting back up and falling again and again as their transgressions fill them with guilt and sorrow and wondering of how they could have made choices that were better than those made at the time the transgressions came and poisoned all they touched and put some in coffins to be buried deep in the ground over which I see from atop my wall while I rest and prepare to climb some more to get higher and higher as I learn what I can and can't do with a body that has an expiration date and limitations less that are undesirable to me and others around me that I love and want to love even though I am scared to make the mistakes again that have gotten me to where I am on the wall I still climb and slip and fall and cling to what I have.
