I cried.

As the two females stood staring at the fire, a Volcarona approached. It was Yea Old, the guildmaster of the Volcarona Guild. Well, the first master anyways. Not miss Vulcy. "So. Sybil, the Witch of Forest Hall, is staring at her destruction. Along with her one friend from her homeland."

The Guardian and The Witch both flinched. That the guild master had been using their specific dialect, then said that the Guardian was there (who was still invisible, mind you), and then proclaimed that he knew The Witch caused the fire... It was too much. The only Pokemon able to see her should have been dark types. (Invisibility isn't that hard for psychic types. In fact, it's pretty easy. It uses the same principle as zoroark illusions- to trick the mind into thinking it saw something it didn't. The difference was that zoroark and zorua have the natural ability to cast illusions, while psychic types need to learn how to manipulate the optic center in the brain. Dark types are immune, so they can see through psychic illusions.) Anyways, both Pokemon knew that Yea was a special case. He nailed from a land with the (slightly long) name Yuen Ohveeae. He seemed to know the past as well as Sybil, the Witch of Forest Hall, knew the future. His piercing gaze saw through most lies. In fact, he had the finest mind of any Pokemon of his time. "I want one of your books, Sybil. Your song books. I want my posterity to know your genius."

At this point, the Witch snorted. "Why should I give it to you?" she asked. In fact, it was vital that she did give it to him, but it wasn't usually her way to just give things away. She had an image to keep up.

"Because if you don't I'll tell the entire town what you told me. About where you come from. About the other fairies, besides your friend and her sister."

There. Now, she looked as if she had a reason. "Alright," she said in a fake reluctant voice. She dug around in the bushes for a book she had concealed for just this moment and pressed it into Yea's bottom set of legs, wiping it off as she did so. She then said to him, "Make sure to say that you found this after the fire. I want everyone to think I'm dead."

"Sure thing," Yea replied. '"And I've adopted your dialect in hopes that others will, too. One day, this version of Poké will be the only version. I'm counting on it."

"It will," she assured him. "I have foreseen it."

And with that, the volcarona left. [Damn, I just realized how to spell volcarona. Instead of the 'o' from Corona, the 'a' from Volcano.] "You know that he will give it to Fern, don't you? If not directly, through the ages," The Guardian said.

"I know. I'm counting on it. In two hundred years, the book will be yellowed with age. Destiny's way will be an important religious hymn, at least the first half," the Witch of Forest hall said. "Yea's second child, the next leader, will be the one to tell Fern her destiny. "

Two hundred years and some change later...

Team storm had just returned from their first mission after a week. They brought with them the second Fairy Type in fifty years, with the first being Eve's mom. And at their debriefing, the young team learns a very important secret.

"Fern. We have discovered a coded message from your mother. She wrote this book," Zoë, Fras' mother and Volcarona's most trusted attendant, was speaking. "There is more to the prophecy well. Here's the message-"

1-6,1-9,1-7 2-1,1-4,1-3 1-9,1-7,1-4 1-9,3-6,2-9,1-6 2-6,1-9,1-10,1-3.

"-see? It also says Q is 1-1, A is 2-1, Z is 3-1, and Fern will understand."

Stop and look at your keyboards. See if you can crack the code, cause I like using this cipher.

Ok, continue

Fern trembled with fear. Even after being congratulated for evolving, and felt like she was the weakest link. The new one. But she knew her mother.

"It says you are our only hope. She used to drill me with this cipher for years, making sure I knew it," she said, dealing a tear roll down her cheek. It was hard for her to cry, being a fire type and all, and me reusing that line would make her proud to be compared to her mother. "She loved puzzles and codes..." Fern felt another tear roll down her cheek as the realization struck her- She would never see her mother again. Soon, she was full on sobbing. The team tried to comfort her, but couldn't. Before, she was trying to hold onto her hope that she could be sent home, but hearing herself talk about her mother in the past tense really hit her hard. Fern was truly an orphan of time. And she went to find the only one that would understand her pain. She went to go find Chiss.

"So. Anyways, there are more lines. The next few lines read:

You, dear daughter must join them

Although you take no part.

_Help your future friends find Song, _

_From there the end will start. _

Dragons will be coming close

_Lead by the Icy One. _

Nightmares run rampant and shows

The blackness in our hearts.

The darkest one might be your end

You need to send him to the grave.

_Life and death fight side by side _

When in the mirror cave.
