My first upload of any kind! Hope you enjoy! Apparently, nobody is really good with titles so I don't feel bad.

There's a partition marked by a series of dashes separating the two main sections. If the first section is a bit too much for you, find the partition and start from there.

Proofreading is for the weak, so let me know if you get annoyed at some grammatical error.

Hopefully you'll start seeing more from me!

A blur of grey fur flew through the air against a backdrop of crumbling concrete and broken glass remnants of once-proud skyscrapers. The scene was surreal, glimmer from shattered pieces of reflective paneling filling the air before the lightshow was cut short, the circuitry that powered the various streetlamps and headlights giving their last spark. All the wolf could see were the closest structures within the range of his limited low-light vision. The rest of the vast cavern became a hot, damp emptiness, explored only by the screaming and crunching cacophony of apocalypse.

The wolf's sudden disorientation was fortunately cut short, but that fortune took two steps backward as he fell into a lake of hot, dense stomach acid with a hard slap. He was quick to squirm his way toward an upright position and wade through the slime, extending his arms and feeling for some chunk of land or debris to prolong his life. Between the impact of his fall and the viscosity of the liquid, his muscles began to ache and burn with the effort it took to cover even a minute distance, forcing the tingling of the acid eating at his skin to go unnoticed for now. He looked up to try to get his muzzle as far away from the acid as possible in an attempt to save his nose and lungs from their constant burning, but the difference was negligible, and all he got was the realization that the beast that he was now trapped inside was so large that he couldn't even see the top of the giant's stomach.

Time washed by, unlike the acid that clung to the canine's fur with almost sentient persistence, but eventually he found a long scrap of metal, mostly in tact, that would provide some semblance of respite. His claws scraped against the sheet, digging at the paint before he managed to struggle atop the wreckage. The small fur collapsed, arms spread and panting in a moment of relative relief. It only took a second of attention for him to realize that he was laying on a bus, swallowed whole amidst the modern relics of a broken city. The burning sensation reemerged, reminding the wolf that his pelt was still coated in acid. His immediate reaction forced his arms into a flurry, attempting to wipe away and shake off the intruding substance. The little comfort his actions did provide were mostly psychological, as the digestive fluids already began to work their course, seeping into the pores of his skin.

The twigs that held what remained of the wolf's mental sanctuary abruptly snapped as he was thrown onto his side as gravity seemed to shift, sending waves of acid crashing against his island of refuge. The bus became submerged, swallowed by the tossing lake around it as the wolf could do nothing but cling onto any scrap of the bus he could reach. The harsh liquid didn't need him to take a breath, content with the intimidating threat of its presence alone, stinging at his nostrils. Gasping, the little canine and his lifeboat reemerged after a few seconds, the waters having calmed down for the moment. Fortune however, didn't favor the poor fur; instead presenting him with a hail of cars, trucks, and busses. The large hunks of metal screamed as they fell, tumbling against one another before splashing into the vast lake, some dangerously close to the wolf. He counted his blessings, but at this point, it was hard for him to deny the fact that there was nothing left he could do.

Talan sat up straight, shifting his legs a bit and forcing them to sweep over multiple city blocks, toppling skyscrapers and digging up the streets in their path. One of his massive forepaws crashed down behind him, sending shockwaves throughout the dense, clogged freeway, shaking the array of trapped automobiles and rolling those with unfortunately high centers of gravity. The massive water creature threw his head back and opened his mouth wide, rolling out his long tongue and revealing the predatory maw, complete with a row of teeth, the keen edges sharp enough to cut through anything he tossed in. He froze in his state of bliss, basking as the rays of the sun caressed his lean form, giving his blue skin an angelic gleam; though the citizens below saw him as anything but angelic. At his earliest convenience, the handful of traffic enclosed within Talan's other expansive palm was raised high up into the air, a monument in its own right. He held the various cars and trucks above his voracious maw, sliding his index clawtip across the various wreckages, eliciting metal screams from each vehicle that was cut through before reaching its full extension, dozens of cars now free to fall towards the waiting maw, slaves to gravity. Talan drew back each of his fingers one by one, feeling the cold metal slide against his skin before their helpless freefall. One fur who wasn't smart enough to exit his car before it was sent over a mile above ground thought to take that action now, climbing his way onto the monstrous pinkie whose thickness loomed over him like the Great Wall. He wouldn't clear any meaningful distance before the finger was pulled away, leaving him with the same fate as any other similarly trapped soul.

The threatening maw spared most of his meal, simply letting the ruined transportation tumble over his tongue and down his slick throat. However, he took some liberties with what was left, gently rolling a large bus against the roof of his mouth, letting its savory passengers spill out as the vehicle began to compress and collapse amidst the force of the dexterous tongue. Talan gave a bit of a smirk as he forced the muscle flat against his palate, the steel tube immediately crushed into a paper-thin sheet before it was finally spared, sliding down the beast's throat to join the others.

Talan curled his toes, the simple, largely involuntary movement of satisfaction further laying waste to the diminutive city beneath him. The sole itself was a force of nature, wider than the cityscape was tall. Even the furs on the highest floors of the nearby office building were captivated as they stared into the dark depths of the lake itself as the gigantic digit rushed towards them, swallowing them in the warm darkness as the windows shattered with a deafening crash under the sheer force of impact. The foundations of the building grinded and screeched as they were torn apart, snapping their roots and forcing the structure to begin collapsing underneath its own weight. Years of proud architectural innovation and disaster preparation amounted to less than a single extra second of safety against the sway of Talan's toes.

Unaware of the destruction his paws were enacting on the city, Talan simply purred as he finished his meal, rumbling to himself in satisfaction, sending a low tremor through the ground he sat upon. He shifted his legs, massive digits now planted flat on the ground, a single toe claiming an entire street as its own, pinning several cars, metal crunching as they bent to fit the craterous imprint that ran several feet deep. Talan stood up, feeling the concrete beneath his paws shift and splinter with the addition of the rest of his weight. The enormous freshwater predator now somehow even more imposing at his full height while the city looked all the more feeble from his shifted perspective. He lazily lifted a single paw, heel limp as his digits barely lifted off the ground, tearing out large chunks of concrete that stuck to his damp sole, but only long enough to rain over untrodden city blocks throughout his mile stride. His middle digit swept by so close to the ground that its claw traced the street's median, splitting the pavement and tossing aside any forgotten car in its path. When the huge paw finally crashed back down on Earth, explosive shockwaves raced down several streets, splitting glass paneling, peeling apart concrete buildings and even knocking down the closest ones.

Talan continued his stroll, clouds parting in resignation against his slender chest and retreating along the light definition of his smooth musculature. The white fluff kissed the pair of webbed finspikes along his back as he left them behind, a new district awaiting the beast after just a few destructive steps. Even from their homes thousands of miles away, the bats, birds, amphibians, and furs tuning in to the news broadcasts could still feel his imposing presence. The daring news helicopters that circled the scene gave themselves a mile of safety room, recognizing the threat of any sudden move, aggressive or otherwise. A few of the shaky cameras clicked and whirred as they zoomed in for a closeup shot of the debris left behind in just one of the expansive pawprints, several feet deep and beginning to flood from the city's mangled plumbing systems. A secondary print echoed out from the deep impression, the aftershock's damage marked clearly with its own definitive aftermath of collapsed towers.

Before completing his final step, he stiffened his heel and raised the front of his paw, toes now parallel to the ground and resting just above the tallest buildings in the district. Anyone too slow to evacuate looked up and saw an eclipse, the enormous paw shading the area and obscuring the sun's rays. Those who dared to look further ended up peering between the toes that framed a grinning muzzle through the light cloudline. Talan on the other hand, saw only buildings and large vehicles from his height, individual people too small for his perception, or perhaps too small for him to care to perceive. Panic spread as the massive exotic began to lower his looming paw, feeling the skyscrapers press and massage their smooth expanse. He continued to bore down, adding more weight before the tallest buildings snapped from the pressure, collapsing in the paw's stead and letting it continue downward until the burden of his weight became the responsibility of the next tallest class of constructs. The windows that adorned the building's top floor were close enough to the roof that anyone looking out on that floor saw the pawflesh squish slightly around the top of the building, occluding the upper third of this floor's windows. The sight wouldn't last long before the windows began to splinter, metal creaking as lights began to flicker off and the building began to quake, falling to the paw's immense weight.

Talan's paw continued to slowly glide downward like a prolonged doomsday clock, rumbling once again as the paw reached street level, allowing him to feel the conglomeration of textures that riddle his toes. Sliding it back and forth, he felt cars, buses, and concrete grind and roll against the warm undersides of his paw, some of them sticking to his sole, having accrued a light film of sweat throughout the warm day. In a sudden movement, no more subtle than anything else he'd done to the city, he forced his entire weight on that same paw. The concrete pavements cracked around his digits, the force great enough to splinter them, spiking chunks of street into a small mountain range. The claws dug further into the ground before crashing into the subway before reemerging with several metro cars in tow, captured between his toes and trapped against their webbing.

The enormous digits took flight once again, retreating from the city's most recent devastation. He crossed the leg over the other with expert balance while the string of subway traincars lazily flopped around against his soles, knocking against the other vehicles and metal scraps flattened against his paw. One arm held the lower limb, pulling it closer while Talan simultaneously bent down, the whole act forcing his other foot to crunch through layer upon layer of city sprawl with increased weight. His muzzle met the bridges of his toes, eliciting a long inhalation as he drank in the light musk of his hard work. He opened his ever-threatening maw with a "schlick" extending the tip of the tongue to the base of his sole. Slowly, he pressed more of the long muscle against his paw, the light tinge of sweat teasing his tastebuds before he began to drag the length up towards his toes. All textures and tastes of concrete and metal filled his palate alongside a healthy spicing of his many victims. All topped, of course, with a pinch of sweat, the light salt binding it all together. The icing on the cake was the strand of subway trains dangling against the curves of his paw, slurped up against the massive monster's tongue like a long strand of succulent pasta.

The final subway link between his toes was lapped up, disappearing into his maw after a long, savory pause as his tongue slowly grazed over his sensitive digits. The metro train was tossed around and crunched against the blunts of his sharp teeth, decoupling one by one as they slid down Talan's throat, plunging into the awaiting darkness of his stomach to join the rest of his day's claim. Tens of thousands of lives, an entire metropolis, decades of development, desecrated underneath the massive monster's digits or dissolved within the depths of his belly. Talan sat back and relaxed without a care and only one thing on his mind: "I should visit land more often."
