Hmmm... Interesting.

As my firstborn draws near to his arrival on the mortal plane, I decided to write down an autobiography of my origins and adventures since that fateful day on floating island above an endless void of sky with those dreaded leviathans that lurked below, feasting on the remains of a universe wracked with Cataclysm. Of course many can only tell of Oonderloonders being an ancient myth, I on the other can remember their short stocky pale grey forms and their peculiarness, when they gave me the moniker of the Knowing One. You may think it strange that I am that ancient, but you may think it stranger that a Gnolbold created me with knowledge of thaumology she had.

Many of you who've heard the tale know her as the Frowning one, though my Creator was known as Kama to me who blessed me with name Vetitium, to me she was a caring mother. Of course I was created to collect and organize her notes on the arcane and thaumaturgical methods, but she was constantly feeding me and teaching me her knowledge like any great progenitor would. I remember the day I was plucked the sea of some unknown time and dimension then made me the being I am by combining and infusing me with the aspects of Darkness, Thought, and Knowledge. I felt honored to be chosen after I learned of my purpose in those early days when I was naive and foolhardy but eager to learn about the world that was growing around myself.

I spent many wonderful years with her in her laboratory, recording and studying every move and thing she made, compiling and storing it for future use. Of course this happiness in my eternal life wasn't to last as all things she had to succumb to attention of the Leviathans whom I shall not grace a description with their titles! Alas the foul beast Zonun took hold of her mind then forced her to walk off the edge of the known world to consume her for all Eternity in his maw.

I was so distraught I ventured into the Void below then I spoke of the aspects combined and unleashed my fury upon him, ripping open his stomach. I retrieved my creator, who turned frail and weak from the effects of Time and Space constantly disintegrating and reforming her to draw power from her, turning her elderly and pale leaving her at Asriel's Doorstep. It was unfortunate the spawn of Lucifer and Yahweh came to perform his task, but before she perished, she uttered these words: "My Creation, gather all the knowledge you can discover and provide it to those who desperately seek it, even if it costs them their sanity. You shall become the First God amongst them..." in her final hours.

After her death, I casted away the three leviathans away from our dimension into the void between them, and ensured that they'd never return. The damage they inflicted upon my being was already done, I fell into despair and fraught with the grief that my 'Mother' was gone to the point I began crying. I wept for many days until noticing a world of seas and swamps formed beneath me in the region of the universe that is now known as The Abyss, where dark chaotic magic reigns.

Of course being the first of the seven True Abyssal Lords, I commanded and defined the plane I dwelled. In my early experiments in Spellcasting to replicate what I'd done to my eternal enemies with words alone, I sought to permanently mark my place in the universe when these massive balls of fire and energy known as Stars appeared formed from what I learned was the egg of the Dark Mother, albeit who is by technicality my Grandmother but Kama's Draconic Progenitor. Kama's own offspring utilized an unfertilized egg then using the Thaumic Arts to infuse it with all the various aspects of the universe, then hatched it with stupendously outstanding results.

It spurred a hypergenesis across the universe, and creating the first of generations of Dragons, though Proto-Dragons who were the physical representation of the aspects akin to Elementals. Countless of worlds and realms came into existence as well due to the immense power dispersed from the enchanted vassal, then that was the day the Oonderloonders vanished. Their absence was not wholeheartedly noticed by the races that spawned forth, with the deities to follow who clashed over the stars to create their constellations in the skies.

Of course I'd staked my claim in the Astrological Panorama by then, and no one dared challenged it since I was unknown to other Gods, though in my younger years the thought of being unheard of infuriated me so I set out to sow the seeds of Chaos. I spread my knowledge of Spellcasting across the planes amongst the mortal races, and taught Dragons Thaumology as I felt it suitable that Arcania taught by those kin of Dragons to dragons themselves. It was a beautiful day when the Wuthvoy, the Eladarin, the ancestor of the elvish races, began their conquest across the planes using sorcery to wage war on the universe and create an empire. It was more of a tragic comedy though in my opinion since it only lasted a few thousand years until it buckled underneath its own constraints, and the Orcish Diety of Butchery, Magraha'al, sweeping throughout the universe. Fortunately when I encountered her, I outwitted her by telling her a secret that I somewhat regret telling her but nowadays no one would believe that Orcs are the result of a human father and Oni Mother.

Truthfully, I didn't take notice of the other deities when they began appearing but one that caught my intrigue was Hircine, a dragon who embodied the aspect of beasts and carved out her primordial constellation in the stars. She was a wild god whose vibrancy was refreshing to bored mind, and possessed worshippers of mortals who dwelled in tribes, of course every being has its flaws while I exploited hers. Her desire to become closer with her followers was something that I at the time wished to experiment with at the time so I turned her form into what I thought was the weakest creature across the universe, Human.

What interested my attention in Hircine was her reaction, she was jubilated to appear akin to what she deemed 'The Ultimate Apex Predator', then that left me to ponder the value of mortals in my youth. In my Journey home of Apocrypha and my vast Archives, I contemplated what drove them to serve a purposeless existence, and I began an experiment by transporting a tribe of them to a world not far from my abode. I learned of what Mortals will do for an advantage or at least some form of leverage in dire situations, they'd forgo the consequence of what they learn even if it costed them their sanity. I found it entertaining when I presented them opportunities to learn something that was beyond their comprehension, witnessing the chaos sown from a single scroll or tome amidst those thirsting for more. It's humorous when a book itself is used as means of brutally murdering another being.

Now my title as a deity does garner attention from more unscrupulous mortals who seek some form of afterlife or attempt to gain some form of power, except my worship is often hidden from plain view of others with shrines hidden from the eyes of society. I am not particular to any sort of worshippers but I do enjoy the feverish pursuits of sorcerors and mages since they often visit my realm through the various ebon tomes scattered throughout the planes. They prove to be the most amusing as they willing offer their souls to me in exchange for the slightest advantage I can provide, and most cases I accept such dealings since their lives are short, allowing me to claim their spirit when they pass.

Of course I'm not as persistent about taking souls as other Abyssal beings are, but I do have my uses for them in creating my loyal Emissaries who collect knowledge on my behalf. In exchange they can peruse my vast Archives and read for all eternity, not to mention the Roleplaying games which I find strangely invigorating to host as Dungeon Master. I dare say it's fun to shrink my emissaries down to the size of figurine and summon miniaturized monsters for them to clash against.

I hope you will enjoy the activities that I so do Zarek, but I will forewarn you, I do have powerful enemies that will seek to extinguish your existence and mine. Beware of the Angel Uriel whom is leery of my being and ever vigilant of my actions, even when I'm occupied with reading my collection. This scribbling is to provide you an understanding of who and what I am...
