#3 of The Scent of Soil (Novella)

Watery sunlight pierced the glass, falling onto the frame of the sleeping mare. As the half-light grew, Scarlet woke, surfacing from her deep slumber. The drumming of light rain caressed her ears and she stretched, yawning, rustling across the smooth linen.

Opening her eyes, rubbing the sleep from them, she sat up, looking about her. She was back in her own room, and couldn't see John. Frowning a little, she swung her legs out of the bed and stood up, stretching again, rising to tiptoes, working her shoulders.

Dressing quickly, pulling on jeans and a shirt, Scarlet strolled from her room, humming happily, and headed for John's room, hooves sinking in the plush of the carpet. She threw back his door and barged in, smiling, peering into the early morning light.

The bull, lying tangled in his sheets, gave a start and sat up, blinking his eyes free of dreams, looking wildly about him. He saw the mare standing, hands on hips, in the doorway and sighed, lying back.

"Jesus... Way to wake a poor sod up, Scarlet." He grinned at her and jumped from his bed, always a rapid riser once he was awoken. He peered at the large clock on one wall and raised his eyebrows. "Darn it, it's 11 already! You sure know how to wear me out." His voice was jubilant and playful, and as he pulled on his normal clothes, tough trousers and a t-shirt, he grinned happily at Scarlet, who stood smiling, leaning against the doorpost.

She walked over to him, still with a smile across her lips, and kissed him softly on the cheek, holding his warmth. He murred in a pleasured response and returned the kiss, on the lips. They stood, quiet, calm, for a few moments, then parted, happiness in both of their eyes. John spoke first.

"Last night was amazing..." He spoke, with the slightest blush. She grinned, nuzzling against his strong chest. She sighed, breathing in his morning scent. "Thankyou for everything, Scarlet. I... things don't have to change, OK? I'm still your right hand." He chuckled, and kissed her head, stepping away to pick up a belt from his table.

She laughed, a soft tinkling sound, and walked away, then drummed her digits on the smooth ancient oak of the doorframe. "Well, I'll say the same back, sweetie. I'm still your boss, honey, so get dressed." She winked and turned to leave, looking back over her shoulder to blow the bull a kiss. "I'll go and get things out for breakfast, come on down."

As she descended the steps, the mare smiled, a spring in her step. The confusing rush of the storm in her head from the previous night had faded, and she felt refreshed, ready to enjoy her new closeness with John. Pulling plates and bowls from a rack, she laid the table, whistling quietly. Outside, the rain was a mere drizzle, and the wind was a light caress, the clouds above ragged and broken up.

Dropping bread into the toaster and pulling a frying pan from a hook, she lit the oven, content to let the bull cover the more delicate task of frying the bacon. She looked up, and gave a wave as her lover walked down the stairs, dressed and groomed.

"I'll get some eggs." He said simply, walking past Scarlet, kissing her gently on the cheek, and heading for the pantry. While he rummaged inside, Scarlet took a seat, doodling absentmindedly on an abandoned newspaper with a stub of pencil. John returned, grinning, and dropped rashers of back bacon into the pan, setting the eggs down on the side.

As the smells rose over her, she looked up, and her tail swished slowly as she tapped the pencil lightly on the paper. She coughed, gently, as she considered how pressing she had actually been the night before.

"John, I hope you didn't feel I was too... over the top... last night." Her words were quiet, slightly nervous, worried despite his jubilant greeting, eager to make sure things were level between them. She clicked a hoof quietly on the stone.

"What?! No! No, Scarlet, it was wonderful. Just because I was shy, don't worry, really." He blushed slightly, and smiled at her, steam rising around him from the pan in gusts, pulled by the extractor hood whirring above. "Really, I loved it. Hey, if you ever want to try anything else." He winked, and turned back to the cooking. She sighed, relieved, and took another look at the sky.

"I think I'm gonna head into town again John. If the weather gets serious again, we'll need more food." said Scarlet, turning to face the bull at the stove. "Do you want to come along?" John looked pained and drummed a wooden spoon in the pan, tapping his hoof.

"No, I'm afraid not. I've got to get things battened down if it's still looking like more wind. I could see a lot of stuff blown about around the barn from my window. Sorry." Scarlet shook her head and smiled. "Oh, that's fine, I won't be too long. Let's eat, and I'll head out." She sniffed, and her mouth watered as she smelt the just-cracked eggs sizzling in the pan.

The door shut with a wet thud, and Scarlet stepped down from the step onto the gravel, taking a deep breath. The drive was still soaked, water dripping from the poplars that screened it from the Arboretum, and the air smelled wonderfully clean, soft light playing over the puddles and rivulets, the wind a sighing whisper in the wet trees.

Buttoning her wax jacket about her, the mare walked to the truck, pressing the button on the keys in her pocket. The locks gave a confirming bleep, and she pulled open the door, swinging into the front seat, noting with a little distaste that there were still mudstains in the cabin from John's exertions the day before. Pushing into first, she rolled out, mounting the bridge, puddles throwing up spray under the Warrior's wheels.

As the house receded from view, Scarlet glanced about her, driving carefully, looking out across the valley. The road cut into the side of a long hill range, and gave a good view of the scene below. She tutted as she noted the large number of trees fallen and when the river came into view, its surface was evidently turgid and swollen. Several times she was forced to slow, and weave around debris littered across the surface.

Things were a mess, for sure. The wind had taken tiles off of a fair few roofs, from what she could see, but there was no sign of any really worrying damage. She thought back again to the client who had rung her the day before. His granary would doubtless be in a dire state after the blow, but there was nothing she could do about it. She'd stop by the office again and see who had struggled in. She wouldn't be surprised if it was empty.

As she came closer to the town outskirts at the bottom of the valley, she noticed a growing number of highway maintenance trucks, often pulling fallen boughs from the road, or deploying warning signs, cautioning drivers, in case they were blind and deaf, that the road was indeed very wet. Forebodingly, the clouds seemed already to be thickening again, and despite the climbing sun, the rainswept fields and meadows were getting no lighter.

Coming to the first roundabout at the edge of town, she noted with a small chuckle that the "Welcome to Oakbridge" sign on the side of the road had been bent back by a falling branch, and now seemed to read "Welcome to..." She shook her head with a smile and drove on. Before long, approaching the centre, she realised that she wasn't the only one who had decided to "make hay while the sun shines", and the roads were clogged with traffic, drivers sitting glumly in the light rain.

Closer to the centre, things looked even worse. Parking spaces left and right were filled and people thronged the streets despite the unpleasant weather, many already returning to their cars, clutching bags of shopping, food, supplies and the like. However, there was no real feel of panic or emergency and the stiff upper lip seemed to be prevailing, the shoppers looking fairly unfazed. Scarlet smiled a little. Furs around here really were tough.

Finally arriving at the multi-storey, Scarlet parked the truck and hopped out, the cool air full of the gritty splash of tires on wet tarmac. She clopped quickly down the stairs, and headed for the high street, pulling up her hood as she stepped into the rain. The skies seemed to be darkening, and she felt a little unease pricking at the edges of her mind. She walked on, smelling the wet stone of the streets. For someone of her family, the scent was a reassuring one.

Plodding onward, Scarlet came to her usual store and stepped in, shaking rain from her coat and pulling her hood down, looking about at the clientèle bustling around. A few store boys were busy stacking the shelves, evidently business had been strong this morning. She waved to Peter at the counter, who was scanning a load of shopping for a stallion. He smiled up at her, and turned back to his customer.

Quickly beginning to fill her basket, stocking up on fresh food as well as tins and supplies, batteries and candles, Scarlet found the atmosphere in the shop remarkably relaxed. Conversation was of course all about the storm, but people seemed fairly cheerful and, chatting with some loose acquaintances, Scarlet learnt that the storm response had been quite effective, with emergency services out in force last night. She lifted a tin of soup from the shelves, and spotted a familiar face yet again, on the other side of the store, down the central aisle.

"Oh, Tom! Hey!" She called out, but over the bustle of rolling trolleys, the wolf, engrossed in the label of a large bag of rice, failed to notice her. She frowned, and began to fish through the milling shoppers, carrying her load in front of her, edging through the crowd. "Tom! Hi!" Finally, he looked around him, head coming up, and spotted the golden female strolling toward him.

"Hey there Scarlet!" He grinned, and walked over to her, arms outstretched. She hugged him for a moment, stepping back and as they began to swap stories about the storm, and plans for how to prepare, the lupine's scent tickled at Scarlet's nose. She stopped in her tracks, and suddenly realised Tom was staring at her. "Scarlet? Are you OK?" She jumped, shaking herself, and groaned internally. What was wrong with her head...

"Oh, sorry, I'm fine, just, tired you know." She smiled, laughing it off, and with a slight frown Tom nodded, and returned to asking her about her experiences. Scarlet could feel her heat rising again. Outside, thunder rolled. The rain intensified.

Parting with Tom, she continued round the store, walking hurriedly now. She'd thought that yesterday's madness had been... some sort of dream, or just feeling overtired. But now her head was starting to get confused again, as if wind was blowing inside her skull. She shook her head and kept shopping, gathering up her final items, talking hurriedly to those who greeted her in the store, before heading for the busy tills, eager to get home to John.

She waited in line, shifting uneasily, dismayed as she realised with a growing certainty that she was getting horny again, just as had happened before. She whinnied, quietly, looking around her, and with a groan, she spotted Tom, in the queue for the far till, about in line with her. He waved, and she waved back, forcing a smile. They were going to hit the tills at the same time, and her eyes were starting play over his muscled curves with a worrying lustfulness.

After minutes of stepping slowly forward, biting her lip, Scarlet arrived at the till, and started piling her shopping on the counter, smiling sweetly at the little female pony who was working there. She had to keep kicking her own shins to stop her gaze from wandering over to the lither frame of the wolf two tills away, passing over his own shopping to Peter. She gave the tiniest moan, and her heart fluttered.

"OK miss, that's forty three pounds, sixty five." Scarlet looked down at the pony and nodded, still smiling, gritting her teeth. She pushed her credit card into the machine, and with fumbling digits she keyed in her PIN, still chewing at her lip. She could see Tom at the very same step, and simply gave up. Things would go as they would go. She watched him with a hungry gaze.

As the machine bleeped at her, Scarlet thanked the girl, and took her bags, walking toward the door. Tom waved, walking toward her, and called out, smiling as he did.

"Hi there again. Heading back?" He asked, stopping to talk, his long, slender, toned arms supporting his shopping easily. The mare bit her tongue. She was sorely tempted... but it was preposterous. A ridiculous idea. And yet, as she watched Tom's lupine body, she couldn't help herself.

"Um... yeah. Say, Tom, do you want to come back and have a cup of tea, something to eat maybe?" She spoke hesitantly, holding her breath, forcing her face to remain level, even as her lusting heart beat hard within her ribs.

"Oh? Well, I... I don't see why not, it's not exactly much fun at home on my own, everything's closed with the storm; but aren't you guys busy clearing up?" He seemed to think for a moment, clicking his tongue as he waited for her reply.

"Oh, no! No, John will be done by now! He started before I left." She tried to keep herself sounding normal, but in all actuality, she was overjoyed. The wind whipped at the store. "I can bring you back any time, or you can stay if you've got nothing going on. Really, we've got the space, and there's nothing much to think about doing with this weather. Please, I'd be happy if you did." Her tail swished up in joy.

Seeming a little taken aback, Tom nevertheless nodded his sleek head. "Alright then, hell, it'll be nice to have the company." He smiled. "Are you heading back now? I should probably get some clothes if it looks like the weather might close in. I hope you don't mind?" Scarlet shook her head and smiled.

"No, of course. Come on, I'll come with you, and we can head back afterwards." In her head, wind roared its approval. As Tom turned toward the door, her eyes glowed white, just for a moment, before she followed the wolf into the strengthening rain.

Even on their brief walk away from the city centre towards Tom's home, a small townhouse on the edge of the park, the weather seemed to be growing ever more powerful and the thick black clouds hung overhead, oppressive and looming.

Walking quickly, not talking, the canine avoided the swirls of water circling the drains, and stepped over the puddles in the cracks of the cobbles. Scarlet, eyes still watching Tom's back lustily, made no such detours and, while the wolf was hunched against the elements, the golden mare stood tall, water splashing about her ivory hooves.

"OK, come on in, it's horrible out here!" Tom spoke, squinting back at Scarlet through the spray of rain ricocheting from the stone. The two stood on a thin street of modern brick townhouses, hung with dripping banners advertising a local concert, and Tom reached out, unlocking a door hurriedly.

He stepped inside, and Scarlet followed, closing the door behind her. She chewed at her cheek a little, eager to hurry things on. Her heat was still building. Tome explained he would just be a moment and, hanging up his sodden coat, he ascended a steep flight of stairs just inside the door.

"Help yourself to tea or anything, kitchen's just straight ahead!" He called, as he turned out of sight. Scarlet took little notice of the house itself. It was a generic, six room townhouse, similar to many others in the district. She strolled on through to the kitchen, shaking water from her short hair quickly and absentmindedly fingering cups, peering at the kettle, her thoughts still firmly on Tom.

It took mere minutes for Scarlet's resolve to fold and, peering up at the gap between the banisters, she wandered quietly to the stairs and subtly climbed, keeping her steps even and slow. The top of the stairway led to a small landing, leading to two closed doors in front of her.

To her left, as she walked carefully along the landing, fingers resting lightly on the banister beside her, she saw that the third door, halfway along the floor, was slightly ajar. Sounds of hasty packing, and rustling clothes issued from inside. She stopped, peering into the crack, heart beating heavily.

Tom, biting his tongue, standing paws on hips, considered the bag on the bed before him. He quickly began to checklist his possessions and as he began to lean forward to zip his luggage closed, he heard the door creak behind him. He turned and let out a brief yelp. Scarlet had appeared in the doorway and the wolf was clothed in nothing more than his fur, his wet clothes hanging on the radiator.

"Oh, crap, sorry! I should have closed the d-" He began, before the mare, looking him up and down with laughter in her eyes, chuckled as he grabbed at a towel, covering himself.

"Don't worry Tom, I don't mind." Her voice was slightly husky, and she took a step into the room, closing the door behind her. "There's nothing wrong with looking." Her words startled Tom no end. Having at first thought that the mare had accidentally wandered in, he immediately realised how she was looking at him, and coughed, frowning slightly.

"Hey, hey! I'm flattered, Scarlet, but really, we've hardl-" He began to protest, before Scarlet, moving like a sheet of rain, stepped forward and put a finger to his lips. His heart raced.

"Oh shh... Don't be a prude, Tom." She removed her finger, and pulled away her damp shirt, and rapidly unclipped her bra, letting her breasts hang free. She smiled at Tom's expression, and stepped closer still, pressing her chest against his. He attempted to step back, coming up short as his calves hit the bed behind him.

"I..." He cleared his throat quickly, straightening his expression and pulling himself together. He smiled back at the mare. "OK then Scarlet, was this all a plan to get me into bed?" As he surveyed the female in front of him, his sheath shifted slightly, and he let the towel around him fall away. He stood tall, tensing his chest.

Scarlet licked her lips openly as she watched the canine's rippling chest and purred, her eyes sultry and eager. She put a hand to his chest, and pushed him, forcing him to sit on the edge of his bed. "Oh no, not into bed. Just onto it." She said, her voice soft. She knelt, shaking her mane back.

The wolf's grin widened and he growled deep in his chest. He'd realised that he was alone in his home with a mare acting like she was in rut. His response to her eagerness quickly became plain, as his thick musk began to flow. His scent spoke of forests, and pine, mixed with sweet heat and the sexual tones of his excitement. The smell flowed over Scarlet, tickling at her snout.

As her nostrils flared, registering the scent, the golden mare moaned softly and bit her lip, letting her head fall slowly into Tom's lap, bending submissively to her instincts. The smell was one of a predator, and she let her tongue snake out as she held the wolf's calves, caressing his crotch with a sensuous lick.

She was rewarded with a louder growl and the wolf's shaft began to fall from his sheath. The red length swelled rapidly and she encouraged it with kisses and licks, her tail swishing over her jeans, left and right, hypnotically.

The lupine cock hardened, still growing and began to slow, knot still to form. As the mare looked it up and down she grinned, winking up at Tom, who smiled back down at her, his tongue running across his fangs. His shaft was not as long as John's, but it was thicker, and as Scarlet kissed its tip, and sunk her maw onto its girth, her jaw was forced to stretch wide.

Tom grunted and snapped his jaws, bringing one paw from the bed behind him, to rest on Scarlet's head, stroking at her mane and pulling her gently deeper onto his shaft. Her lips slid over several inches and her tongue swirled about his length, eliciting a stronger whirl of scent from the wolf as his balls dropped from their sheath, falling slowly to the bed.

As the wind clattered the windows of the bedroom, Scarlet pushed deeper, taking the entirety of Tom's wolfhood into her mouth, breathing the delicious, heady scent of his crotch as she shivered in pleasure. Her tongue continued to flick about his sensitive shaft and as she was forced back up his length an inch or so by his swelling knot, she noticed Tom beginning, slowly, to roll his hips.

Laughing, muffled around the thick shaft in her mouth, ignoring the slight ache from her wide jaws, Scarlet merely felt her arousal build further, her slit becoming slowly wet, as the wolf put both paws to her head, and began to thrust in earnest. His tip pushed at her throat and she steeled herself to avoid gagging, relaxing her neck as drool dripped from her lips.

"Guh... Damn, Sc-Scarlet..." The wolf moaned, continuing to buck, his thighs slipping back and forth across the bedsheets as his shaft twitched. "I'm gonna... ahh...here." His voice was strained and his fucking of the mare's face intensified, as his orgasm approached.

Scarlet brayed around the wolf's shaft, expecting him to pull off, but squeaked in surprise as he pulled hard, forcing her jaw open to bursting, to fit around his swollen knot, locking himself into her mouth, ignoring the threat of her tombstone, equine teeth. The storm winds that had screamed in her skull were silenced in pleasant surprise, despite the pain of her stretched snout.

As Tom threw ropes of his hot seed straight into her throat, she pulled away, extricating herself from his knot, and took his last spasm into her mouth, swilling it and winking at the panting canine, before she swallowed it. She stood up, working her aching jaw, and smiled down at Tom.

He looked apologetic as his member softened, and he flicked his ears. "Sorry, Scarlet... I get carried away. Are you OK?" He was still breathing heavily, and his fur was ruffled. He smoothed it, carefully with a paw.

"I'm fine, but that was a bit of a surprise." Her pleasure was unsated, but Scarlet had found an outlet for her heat, and the howling in her head abated. She stretched and picked up her bra, clipping it on quickly, reaching for her shirt. Peering back at Tom, she saw he was frowning, and giggled. "Come on, Tom. Grab your bag."

He opened his mouth slightly, and coughed, genuinely taken aback. "Wait, what? You're actually inviting me back? What about John?" He knew she lived with her PA, and didn't fancy an awkward night of hiding from another male. Nevertheless, he got to his feet, and began to dress, jeans and a t-shirt already laid on top of his bag. He continued to glance back at Scarlet.

"Mmhmm... The more the merrier, Tom." With that, not letting him reply, she strolled from the door with a swing of her round hips and descended the stairs, taking her coat and letting herself out of the front door as she heard the wolf hurrying behind her. The rain had stopped.

The pair walked briskly back to the truck, not speaking, Tom's mind churning, desperate to speak. As the Shogun rolled through a puddle and out of the carpark, he looked across at the calm-faced mare as she watched the road and bit at his tongue. He would wait for the surprise.

Their journey was silent and reflective, the grey skies still flat overhead, till the island came into view around a bend of the wet road, and the house with it. Scarlet turned to the wolf, eyes sparkling.

"Here we are. Home sweet home. Tell you what, Tom; when we see John, let me talk to him first, OK?" Her voice was playful, as her elegant arm reached up to hit the gate remote on the roof of the truck. The wrought iron swung back, and they drove on, scrunching onto the gravel of the driveway, parking by the steps of the old house.

Tom followed Scarlet as she walked quickly to the door and opened it slowly, stepping in, holding the door. He nodded his thanks and entered, looking about him at the hall. He smiled warmly at the homely beauty of the open space, the exposed beams on the walls, flickering fire, and broad oaken table.

With clicks of hoof, John walked down the stairs, smiling at Scarlet, beginning to speak. He noticed Tom and stopped suddenly, his words dying in his throat. He stood still, looking more confused than irritated, and frowned at Scarlet.

The mare grinned and walked forward, embracing him and chuckling. She planted a kiss on his cheek, eliciting a startled gaze at Tom from the Bull. Both males stood, somewhat awkwardly, watching Scarlet.

She laughed, merrily, and kissed John on the chest.

"Why so glum John? Cheer up, Tom's here for the night. He's a friend from town, thought he might like some company for the storm." She glanced at the clock on the wall and looked out at the thick skies, beginning to darken. "We can cook and talk, OK?" She walked toward the table and took a seat, chuckling at the awkwardness of the other two. "Hey, and maybe we can play some games later." The mare's face was a picture of mischief, as she reclined, impishly.

Sighing a little, John simply nodded to the wolf. "Hi there." He walked to the stove, and washed his hands, looking back over his shoulder. "I hope you like lamb?" He raised an eyebrow, ignoring the teasing figure of Scarlet in the chair. She was determined to play her games? Well, he'd deal with it equivocally.

The wolf nodded back and let out a held breath, relaxing slightly, glancing confusedly at the mare. "Um, yeah, that sounds great. Thanks." He spoke softly, and took a seat in an armchair a little away from Scarlet, looking at her for a moment. "This is a lovely house." His voice was honest, he appreciated the setting. Absentmindedly, he fiddled with his t-shirt, adjusting it around him.

Looking out across the beautiful lake, he saw rain begin to spot the glass of the window, and frowned a little. The weather didn't agree with him at all and he wasn't too sure now if he fancied staying the night.

Scarlet kept up small talk, getting the two talking to each other, all the while a small smile painted on her face. She watched them carefully, noting Tom's apprehension, and John's resigned level-headedness. She considered for a long time how she was going to get the both of them into bed. All the while the weather intensified as night rapidly fell.

Finally, the table laid by a peace-making Tom, John laid the joint on a plate and the three of them sat, John at the table's head with Scarlet on his left, and Tom his right. They mellowed slowly as they ate, a bottle of red wine helping the process along, and the talk turned to the storm.

"We had a powerline down yesterday." John spoke levelly, his voice contented. "It was a real bastard to shift, I'll tell you." Scarlet nodded as Tom frowned, ears flicking as he spoke.

"You moved it in the rain? Ugh." John nodded in confirmation and took a mouthful of lamb, chewing thoughtfully. He motioned to the window.

"It's getting worse again, I've braced all the big pylons with cabling, and cleared up anything mobile, but could still be heavy. If we start losing tiles, things may get serious."

Scarlet smiled a little, wistfully, her tail flicking. "I'm sure it'll be fine, John." The wind howled. "This house has stood up to a lot over the years." She took her last forkful and sat back, sighing happily. "That was brilliant, thanks." Tom too had finished, and John was not far off. She stood, taking the two cleared plates and began to clean the table.

Tom stood quickly, smiling at John. "Yeah, that was great, you're quite the chef." He began to assist the mare, lifting pots to the side. John chuckled gently, his broad shoulders shaking, still chewing. He swallowed.

"My father was the same. He taught me." He put his knife and fork together, despite the small amount of food left on his plate, and cleared with the others. Their conversation picked up, punctuated by cheerful laughter and, by the time they had finished and relaxed in the armchairs, John stoking the fire, a peaceful attitude had settled over the three.

Scarlet smiled, laughing at a joke from Tom, and bubbled with excitement inside her head, like claps of thunder. She was ready to begin things. and the males were both calm.

Stretching widely, pushing her chest forward for a moment, stealing the pair's attention, she shook her mane a little. "OK, who's for more wine?" She stood, and walked towards the cellar door. "I'll just be a minute, keep Tom entertained, John!" She winked over her shoulder and closed the door behind her.

A few seconds of awkward silence passed, Tom blushing at the floor, before John sighed and spoke, quietly. "Has she done anything with you, Tom?"

The wolf was a little taken aback and drew himself together, coughing. "Um... what?" John raised an eyebrow at him and snorted gently. Tom shifted uneasily. "Mm... Yes, OK. When we went to my house to get my things; but I'm sorry, I didn't realise you were-" John silenced him with a raised hand.

"Don't worry, I'm not annoyed. You realise she's trying to string us both along now?" Tom nodded slightly. "Yes, I thought you'd twig. I'll be blunt, she seduced me last night and I take it she did the same to you?" Tom nodded once more. "Yes, OK. Well, Way I see it, there's no harm. We're all adults. What do you say, do you want to work with me on this one?" The bull kept his voice steady.

Tom looked up, a little surprised. "What? I... Yeah, sure!" He checked his eagerness. "I'm... of course, what are you thinking?" He brought a conspiratorial edge into his voice, looking the bull in eye.

John chuckled a little. "Let's not let her lead on this one, hmm?" He pointed to the sofa, and smiled. "You sit one end, I'll sit the other." Tom saw his plan and grinned a little, getting up quickly, nearly rubbing his paws with glee. He took the proffered seat rapidly and, with John sat the other end, the gap between them was wide enough for Scarlet to sit, but not with much space. He almost giggled.

John smiled at him and nodded, and the pair sat back, quietly, making small talk. Before long, Scarlet returned, looking surprised for a moment, before noticing the pair on the sofa. She smiled warmly, and walked over.

"Change of places?" Both males looked up, eyes sparkling in unison, and John patted the sofa beside him. She noted how small the space was, still not quite catching on to their thinly veiled plan, and sat, pressed up against the other two. It was then that she noticed the thick, mixed scent that was beginning to tickle at her nostrils.

As she reached out to put the wine on the table, she stopped, and bit her lip. Her nostrils flared and she gritted her teeth, realising what was going on. She smiled a little and sat back. The two males were making the advance, and she could smell it. John's was a thick, softer note, almost sweaty, but Tom's was a true musk, sharp and invading and, between them, she was forced to breathe slowly.

"Are you OK, Scarlet?" Tom spoke, his voice mock-curious. She shivered a little as she felt a digit tickle at her spine, as John caressed her back gently.

"Yeah, fine. Are you two c-comfortable?" She strained to keep her voice level, trying to retain some decorum, even as lightning flashed in her mind, encouraging her to submit without resistance. The musks thickened and she panted a little, as a claw stroked across her thigh, from the wolf on her right. She realised her eyes were closed, and opened them quickly.

The two males were sitting, watching her with smiles on their lips, as their hands roved over her slowly. The touches became increasingly sexual, as John wormed his way onto her hip, and Tom worked toward the inside of her leg. She let out a small moan, and both of the others responded with murrs, as they saw their success become evident.

The scent merely grew thicker, seemingly close enough to cut with a knife, and Scarlet found herself beginning to sweat, a bead of the salty liquid rolling down her forehead. She shuddered, and took her hands from her lap, slowly moving them toward the males, inching toward their crotches. She bit her lip.

"I'm fine." John spoke, softly. "But you look a bit hot, Scarlet. Are you OK?" The mare nodded. Her fingers continued to crawl toward the pair, as she looked at her knees, fighting herself internally, blushing. John laughed and grinned at Tom, who purred back, locking eyes with him. The bull turned to Scarlet. "Come on. No need to be shy."

The mare brayed a little and at his words, her hands moved rapidly, cupping the bulging crotches of both males. She panted, looking from one to the other, and her eyelids fluttered. She drank in the scent, head swimming, roaring, and slipped off the sofa, spinning around, on her knees before the wolf and bull. Both grinned down.

"You OK down there?" Tom asked, winking. She blushed deeply and gave up, pulling at both of the other's belts, with gently trembling fingers, her urges battering her head like a club. The males helped willingly, removing their jeans, and looked each other in the eye for a moment, still chuckling. As their shafts hung free, Scarlet panted, and put a hand to both of them, looking up, forcing a grin, trying to remain calm.

The wolf purred, his thick red length bucking in Scarlet's fingers, and John merely grinned, giving a gentle snort, his own meat longer than the canine's, but somewhat thinner, and lacking the knot that would soon swell on Tom's.

Licking her lips, the mare began to stroke both of the others evenly, letting her tensions release, putting her lips to the underside of John's shaft to kiss and lick it slowly. Having been caught off guard, she began to regain her edge, as the storm caressed her skull, encouraging her, driving her on like a leaf in the wind.

She kept up her attentions, taking time to nuzzle the ballsack of both males, and dividing the attentions of her snout between them, giving occasional dips of her mouth over one head or the other, her tongue swirling. She purred, and her arousal began to wet the slit between her legs. Her breasts heaved with each deep breath of the intoxicating musk.

Both wolf and bull growled gently beneath her seeking hands and lips, and looked down at her as she worked them. Pre spilled from Tom's tip, in a bright jewel, and was rapidly licked up by a winking Scarlet. Taking a momentary pause, the mare pulled away her shirt, leaving her bra on. She resumed her stroking.

Darkness had fallen fully, and firelight illuminated the trio as first John, then Tom, grunted and howled respectively, throwing their seed over the mare's face and chest. She giggled, licking at her lips and pulled away her bra, standing up, marked with the thick spooge at her cheeks and breasts.

She stepped out of her jeans, as she kissed both males, gently pulling them toward each other, pulling away their shirts with a deep murr.

"You ready to continue, boys?" She asked, winking, wiggling her hips and shaking her tail, stepping back from the pair and wiping cum from her neck, sucking her finger, standing, legs spread.

Both males glanced at each other, looking each other up and down slowly and nodded, Tom grinning, John smiling slightly. Already, both lengths were hard again, and Tom's knot had grown, adding two inches to the thickness of his already turgid member at its base.

Tom stepped forward first and, moving like liquid, he spun behind the equine, placing his paws softly upon her hip, growling in her ear and working his claws against her side. John stood in front, arms crossed and tipped his head at her. He spoke, with laughter in his voice.

"On your knees, Scarlet." The mare nodded, blushing at the touch of the predator behind her, and dropped to all fours gently, whinnying quietly. The wolf snapped his jaws, and John stepped forward, resting on one knee, holding his shaft in a hand, putting his other palm to the back of her snout, pulling her toward his length.

As John moved forward, Tom rolled his throat in a deep growl and positioned his thick meat against her slit, probing it gently, grinning widely, his fangs glinting in the firelight. He pushed, gently, and his head slipped inside, eliciting a deep moan of approval from the horse.

As she opened her mouth to gasp, John took the initiative and pushed himself heavily into her mouth, causing her to swallow in surprise. He began to slide in and out, steadily, slowly, his head already pressing at her throat.

The wolf pushed deeper, his shaft slowly stretching Scarlet's walls out, and grunted as he thrust. He pulled back, slipping six inches out of her and pushed again, starting to roll his hips, her tail brushing his chest, as he sped up his attentions, paws gripping her waist.

"Mmnnn..." Scarlet moaned around John's cock as it slid in and out of her maw, licking around him furiously, relaxing her throat as he snorted and pressed her nose against his crotch, his entire shaft inside her. She was treated to a deep lungful of musk as he pulled back, letting her kiss his tip.

Gradually, the two males picked up each other's rhythms and thrust together, spitting Scarlet with each long, rapid stroke, a line of drool falling from the wolf's fangs as his knot pushed at her slit. Scarlet whirled with pleasure, feeling her orgasm approach, and brayed as the bull roughened his pace, holding her head and fucking straight into her throat, eliciting occasional gags.

"Nnnnf.. Damn Scarlet..." The wolf growled, as he sped up, pushing her slit open, his paws tight around her sides, his tail curled in pleasure.

For several minutes, the pace built, Tom slamming against her rear as John relentlessly stuffed her maw, both males panting and grunting, as Scarlet's tail swished wildly. As the wolf's length pressed at her walls once more, Scarlet felt a change building in her head. The wind, always there, previously chaotic, was growing cutting and direct and she whinnied, beginning to sweat profusely.

As the screaming torrent in her skull built, her eyes began to fill with a soft, white light, and a roll of thunder split over the house. She brayed, an animal sound, and suddenly felt her head seem to expand, as if it were blowing up like a balloon. She could... feel the minds of the two males, like flies on a spider's web and confusion wracked her. What was happening to her head?

Finally, it was as if fog had cleared from her head and she could see afresh. John and Tom, she could feel them both, their ecstasy and pleasure, the slight nervousness of John below the surface, the glee of Tom. She closed her eyes and relaxed in the new feelings of her consciousness, as if the skulls of every creature in the room were crystalline ice.

Both males felt the change, almost subconsciously, a prickling of trepidation rising over them. Scarlet could feel the new emotion and in alarm, she instinctively hit out at the nervousness, attacking it without moving a muscle. She moaned, in carnal pleasure and inner delight, as she saw the males calm, their disconcertedness folding like reeds in wind.

The mare didn't understand what was happening to her, but it felt right, and it seemed like she had woken from a many day sleep. She nursed at the arousal of the males, testing the new feeling of this emotional probe, and received a massive buck from the both of them for her pains. Moments later, she saw, like tiny explosions of light, the orgasms of both males rushing to their loins simultaneously.

Seed rushed into her throat and her womb as the wolf locked his knot inside of her, his howl heard in her ears, and seen in her mind. Her belly was filled with cum as well as her last meal and, as John pulled back panting, she saw fresh confusion rising in him. Tom, locked inside her, was oblivious to this.

Seeing John realising that something strange was happening, she lashed out in a mild panic, the screaming gale in her head hitting out at him. He swooned slightly, and the confusion was blasted away, his arousal once more building, banked by her desperation. She panted, and spoke, voice husky.

"OK... Tom, I want John in my rear..." She saw a little apprehension in the lupine's mind, and smoothed it rapidly. He nodded wordlessly, and sat back on the sofa, pulling the mare onto his lap, spinning her around on his knot.

Tom's thoughts slowed in his head, he could feel only the pleasure, and the wind fogged his mind. He had no sufficient presence to consider the oddness of the situation, his normal processes had nigh shut down totally beneath the gale of Scarlet, and he moved languidly.

John, even as he began to think, somewhat alarmed, about what was going on, seeing the weird glow in his lover's eyes, was hit by the blast. He slipped into a waking sleep, and heard only Scarlet's words, his eyes falling half closed. Sluggishly he walked, shaft dripping and hard, toward her, and positioned his meat against her tight ring. He grunted and pushed, the sexual feelings from his loins the only clear part of his head

He clung to this clarity, concentrating in the only clearing of his mind, and began to slide himself into Scarlet. The mare moaned and wrapped Tom into a kiss, which he returned, growling softly. Scarlet was running on instinct, her normal thoughts too were bending with the wind, and she encouraged the bull in his efforts.

"Ooh... Hhnnf..." The bull panted, pressing himself deep into the tight ring of the female, feeling the bulge of the canine beneath him. He gritted his teeth, only finding lucidity in fucking the horse, and thrust. His entire length settled into Scarlet, rewarded with a deep moan and he pulled back, steam rushing from his nostrils as he snorted loudly.

As the bovine hit a powerful, shafting rhythm, the entire group murring and groaning in pleasure, Scarlet tried to think clearly, but normal thoughts had fled her, only the hawkish gaze at the minds of her new lovers remained as she preened their emotions, smoothing and tweaking the males.

At length, as the rain and thunder crashed overhead, the group, sweating in the flickering glow of the burning logs, reached their conclusion, the mare being stuffed with the bulls final, somewhat diminished load. It took little time for the exhausted trio, wrapped in each other's arms, to fall headlong to the sofa, as they slipped out of each other, breathing level, spilling cum onto the fabric.

As the males slept against her, Scarlet felt her storm soften, the wind falling, the sheets of icy rain against her synapses gently ceasing. As the wind stopped howling at the windows of the house, and the storm fell still, sated, she considered what had happened, her normal presence of mind returning.

"What's happening to me..." She felt satisfied but desolate and, as she walked through the gloom to her bath and her bed, her consciousness was pricked with doubts, unearthed by the rising wind.
