The three dragons walked through the darkness of the moonless night, deep in the old forest. The trees seemed oddly contorted to the youngest of the group. Caerulius, the young blue, wasn't nervous - confident that he could handle any situation that might occur, and knowing his two elders were equally used to these lands. He turned to look at the group leader, Virmiculus, staring at the thick silk covering a ruined eye - dyed to match the mottled white and red scales of the battle-worn dragon. He could see the dragon's wings twitch where they were folded on his back.

"Is everything alright?" the young blue asked.

"...there is a scent on the air. Something exotic..." was all the battle-worn white would say.

"These trees are old. The scent is expected, to me" Tianshi said, a pristine white with flowing thick whiskers. His accent, coupled with the long-flowing whiskers, confirming his eastern heritage.

"No. The trees know what it is, but it ain't the trees" the one-eyed dragon said, his pointed ears twitching around as he turned his head and scanned the woods around them.

Axion drifted slowly through the forest, the black-robed demon feeling the very heart of the forest twist at his infernal disturbance. He no longer cared for the lives of those around him. The world was cruel, and death was natural. He had lived long enough to see everything he loved turn into dust and ash. He now considered destruction to be the best way to avoid loss, or the sadness that comes with absence. The demon turned his three-faced head, causing the chains on his headdress of hooks to clatter and clang like grotesque wind-chimes - pulling at the skin on his head as they swung back and forth. He could hear some dragons nearby, his most-loved creatures. Extending his senses outward, he shifted through the ether and nether towards them. With a flash of darkness, he emerged right in the path of the trio.

Before Caerulius could react to the sudden appearance of the infernal demon, he was ceased by a crushing force, locking him in place. He could see Tianshi also lock in place, only Vermiculus the group leader was able to rear up before the mighty presence of Axion.

"Such strength. It is rare one can stand before me, dragon. I shall free you first"

"You will not defeat me, demon. Leave these lands and return to your hell, or be destroyed here"

"Such insolence..."

"Arrogance", a second visage interjected. "Any final words, my battle-worn love?"

Rather than respond, Virmiculus inhaled deeply, preparing a blast of burning flame to obliterate the demon. Before he could being exhaling the fire, a dark tendril of fel-power lashed out from the demon's body and struck the Virmiculus on the chest, knocking him to the ground and entering his navel. The old dragon emitted a blood-curling shriek of pain - collapsing onto his side as his forelegs clawed at the burning agony coming from his belly. His one eye was wide open, looking into the central visage of the demon's tri-fold face - the nose-less and hairless face looking gaunt and hollow. A second wave of fel-power washed over the three dragons, and the dabbled-red felt a bony shard burst out of his belly-button. The dragon convulsed from the pain, but the length of bone grew further out of his belly, muscle and tendons now visible as they connected the pieces of bone together.

The blue dragon's eyes went wide as he saw what was happening, but could not comprehend how it was occurring. It was clear that the now foot-long mess of bone and sinew growing out of his elder's navel was the dragon's own tail! He could see where the dragon's tail was now only half as long as before, as if it was folding in on itself and emerging out of the dragon's belly. Looking closer, he could see the black tendrils of whatever entity the demon had released inside Virmiculus's belly - could see them pulling on the dragon's flesh and turning it inside-out. With a fresh wail of agony from the one-eyed dragon, another foot of tail burst forth. Caeruluis closed his eyes, unable to stand the sound and sight as the red-and-white entered shock, more and more tail pushing its way through his body - but it didn't stop with just the tail. Soon, the wound grew obscenely wide as the dragon's rear hips began to press through - powered by the demon's dark power. The blue kept his eyes closed until the pain filled howls ceased. He risked opening them, only to see what he had expected - a gory mess that made his stomach turn and the blood drain from his face.

Lying on the ground, barely 10 feet away, was the twitching body of his companion - but without a single scale in sight. It was as if the entire body had inverted, had somehow managed to roll over itself and turn inside-out. Muscle and skeleton were visible, as well as a distended hole where the navel should have been. The demon looked on, a smile reaching its middle-face - one that was also backwards, the two remaining dragons grimly realised.

Tianshi stood stoically, his face a neutral mask that concealed any emotion. Internally, he chanted a Banishment, intending to remove the fel-beast before him from existence. As the demon moved towards the younger blue dragon, Tianshi prepared his attack - his body shaking against the aura holding him in place, his magic pushing and straining to be released. Suddenly, he realised the demon's left-side face staring at him, the eyes wide and the mouth drawn into a cruel scowl.

"The white!" the side-face called, causing Axion to quickly turn so all three stretched-skin visages could look on the straining white.

"You wish to be next?" Axion's central mouth said.

"Fool" the side-face spat.

With a cold rasping voice, the left-most face - the one with most hooks and the most mortified skin, eyes not even visible beneath the distended blackened flesh - spoke: "They said a fluke's heart-strings will hum with his soul, until severed. Such a string will fetch a powerful price, such a string shale be ours tonight"

Tianshi's mask of calm composure shattered at the vile words that came from the demon Axion, his heart skipping a beat as that third face's words pounded in his head. They felt like a drill pushing through his skull. The demon walked slowly towards him, the loose hooks from its head-dress beginning to flow and sway like metallic snakes. Suddenly, the hooks flew towards the eastern dragon, tearing into his forelegs and pulling him upwards until he stood on two legs before the approaching demon. If his body could respond, Tianshi would have howled in pain from the infernal metal tearing his flesh - but he could no more scream than he could defend himself or flee.

Axion placed a hand against the dragon's soft belly, before pushing his claw-like nails through the dragon's white navel and into the belly of the beast. Tianshi convulsed in shock, eyes going wide as he felt that limb pushing and tearing its way into his very flesh, and then upwards towards his heart. Soon, a great agony flashed through him as the demon touched his beating heart, causing it to skip and lurch from the intrusion. The left-face started laughing in its rasping voice, causing Caerulius to faint - the youngest dragon overwhelmed by the evil dripping from oldest face of the demon.

Tianshi could only look on in terror as a dark tongue extended from that dark face, the purple snake-like length moving closer and closer to his belly, and then sliding inside, following the demon's hand. Soon, he could feel it coiling around his heart-strings, grouping them together, threatening his very soul.

"Relax, my love. I will keep them safe with me" the central-face spoke. "I will weave them into my cloak, or my headdress if you are lucky. I will keep you with me, forever"

Tianshi cried out as his soul was sundered, the demon's nails pulling the dragon's heart from his chest in one violent jerk, the demon's tongue emerging with the glowing sinews of heartstring wrapped up. Blood and guts slowly leaked out of the gaping wound that now lay in the middle of the dragon's belly. Moving away, Axion removed his hooks, allowing the dragon to crumple onto a pool of viscera and blood.

Caerulius regained consciousness in a flood of pain. His mind felt like an ice-pick had been driven into it, his muscles burning as if on fire. He was on his back, spread-eagle. He opened his eyes to see a horrifying sight: A face with hooks lodged deep into its flesh, pulling it taut so that the eyes could not blink.

"Welcome back" the evil visage said.

"Weakling" a second face said.

"P-please. Please, mercy. Please, just let me go!"

"Don't worry, my love" that evil face said. "I will do much more than release you"

Suddenly, Caerulius roared in pain as one of the demon's hands worked its way down his chest, the long nails leaving bleeding lines along the dragon's scales. He tried the thrash around, but found his limbs held in place with twisted wood from the roots of trees. Axion paused just above his slit before pushing in, causing a fresh wave of pain to run through dragon, and drew out his limp length. The demon used his dark pleasure to force the dragon's cock to engorge, the pleasure mixing with pain and overwhelming Caerulius's senses. Soon he was howling for mercy while moaning in pleasure. The feeling grew and grew, his tail twitching as his cheeks blushed from the perversion of fear and lust that gripped him.

As he came closer and closer to orgasm, the young dragon roared at a fresh wave of pain. It felt like he had been stabbed in the back, something pushing into the area where his wings joined his body. The pain grew worse, something was moving inside him - pushing its way through his body! At the same time, the demon started stroking his length, gripping and pumping that thick shaft, coaxing an orgasm from the terrified dragon, temporarily overpowering the pain that gripped his body.

As he lay recovering, he could see those wooden spikes growing out of his body near the hips and shoulders, bending over him like a cage and converging at his belly. The seemed to twist together, teasingly stroking his navel as they did so. He looked on as the demon bent over him, giving his retreating dragonhood a kiss on the very tip, sucking the final drop of seed from his shaft. Then the mass of twisted vines stabbed into his belly with force, pushing itself clean through the dragon and back into the forest floor beneath, splitting and spreading through his torso from within and without.

Soon he could not breathe, as the creeping intruder punctured his lungs on its way through his flesh. He could feel another blinding pain as another intruder pushed its way into his anus, tearing open his virgin ass. His roar changed into a choking gurgle as bloody foam rushed up his throat and into his mouth. His tail was the only part of him able to move freely, and it flailed around futilely. The demon knelt down by his face and stroked it, almost like a lover would. The touch of the fel-creature on the dragon's scales burned like hot coals. Caerulius's back arched, his body leaving the ground slightly as he was bent backwards - the pressure building and building until his spine snapped. He strained to look at his chest, the demon lifting his head to help him. His final sight was of his demise, the intruders that had pushed their way into him finally bursting forth from his already destroyed belly-button in a fountain of gore: Thick wooden shoots, like gnarled roots of an old tree, or corrupted wood of an evil seed. The spire of twisting woody vines pushed up further, dragging the dragon's entrails with it. Soon, it was a spire about ten feet tall, more shoots joining it and snaring the dying dragon's limbs with them.

Axion released the blue dragon's head, watching it flop back limp - not touching the ground anymore as the twisted spire pushed the dragon further off the ground. He listened to the snapping of bone and rending of flesh as the wood grew, enjoying the patter of bloody drops as they landed on the ground inside the gory-tree's shell. He would remember this, as well as the taste of the young dragon's seed. The forest would remember his death. And anyone foolish enough to walk along this fel-tainted place would wonder at how a dragon came to die inside the tallest, twisting tree. For now, he focused on his own home. He had some sewing to do, after all.
