First off I don't own any Char in Digimon series, however I do own a human name Vinnie. I'm sorry if there are spelling and grammar errors since my English were average. Anyway hope you enjoy the story.

Regrets and Doubts in a Right Way.

At the time when Al run away from the arcade, Kari was still remain in the arcade for a while. Feeling a little bit uneasy for everything Alphonse had gone through. She looked at her D â€" Server and saw that Gatomon was holding her left cat ear and talking to herself. She then stood up, pick the reward card from the card slot and walk away slowly. She looked at the card and there is a picture of an anthropomorphic golden lion with lots of wound marks wearing a talisman, black jeans and holding a sword ready for an action. The name of a card is Leomon. Then she heard someone called her. She looked and it was Vinnie that called her.

"Miss Kamiya. Have you seen Al around here?" asked Vinnie while holding five dolls in her hand.

"Well I do saw him just a minute ago. But he went off and I don't know where he went." Said Kari tried to show her smile to Vinnie.

"Oh darn. And here I want to show off to that guy that I have won the crane five times and still with some tokens left. Now he ran off without telling me." She said in anger.

"So that's where you get that dolls from," said Kari with a small sweat streaming down from her lower cheek.

"Say, Miss Kamiya." Said Vinnie just got an idea. "Do you mind if I need a favor from you?"

"What is it?" Kari asked suddenly felt something unpleasant.

"You see, I was having a wager with Al and I've won. The challenge was that I will get five prizes from the crane and with few tokens left. The reward from all of this is that Al will treat me. However I need an eye witness for this. So do you, as a teacher and an adult, will witness of my achievement?" Vinnie explained the situation.

"Well. That sounds fun. But are you a little bit bullying him?" said Kari with a smirk.

"Technically not, because it was decided together and I won the wager," she said with happiness.

"Well if you said so, then I will accept it." Said Kari fully understands her idea.

"Thank you Miss Kamiya."

"Run home now, Vinnie. Is there someone waiting for you in your home? It's four o'clock though." She advised Vinnie.

"Two hours. Wow that was long. Thank you again Miss Kamiya." Said Vinnie then left.

"I've contacted Rika. She will send Renamon to us in minute," said Gatomon from her D â€" Server. "If you want to call her, find hidden places to meet up with her."

"Thanks Gatomon. Oh and one more thing," she just remembered the meeting.

"That the destinies will have an urgent meeting sooner or later?" said Gatomon finishing her sentences. "I will tell you when the time is fixed."

"Thanks again Gatomon," said Kari a little bit relief. After that she went out of the arcade and walked toward the cake shop where Takato worked. She opened the door and saw that there are several customers browsing the cake and bought it. She waited in line just to see Takato like other customers do.

When it is her turn, the clerk asked "Can I help you?"

"Yes, I would like to see Takato. Is he still working in this shop?" asked Kari to the clerk.

"Yes. He is still working in the back. Are you his friend?" said the clerk.

"You could say that. When will his shift end?"

"Well his shift will end in a minutes. Will you wait?" asked the clerk again.

"I will but not here. Would you relay the message that I will wait at the food court?" she said.

"Okay. And may ask from whom?"

"It's Kari. Thank you." After that she left the cake shop. She walked around the district again just to kill some time before heading to the food court. She ordered some beverage at the soda stand and headed to the seat next to the road. She waited there for a moment and then took out the white digivice and her D â€" Server.

"Well. What do you think about this toy, Gatomon?" asked Kari while holding the devices face to face.

"Its looks a little similar like the D â€"Server. But then again it might be the opposite," she said while looking the digivice through the screen.

"What do you mean?"

"Before the launching, Yolei and Henry hacked to the corporation from Gennai's place. They looked the all the necessary data for the game. Unfortunately they found out we hacked them, but luckily it was Gennai's house which means they are in the Digital World." Gatomon explained the details to Kari. "In one of the data, we found that the hand held digivice will be similar to his. And thus Gennai created several new digivice for all of us."

"I see. No wonder it is similar to D â€" Server." She said after looking at the white digivice.

"However, there are differences if you know what I meant," said Gatomon adding more of her explanations.

"The D â€" Server is kind of spacious and comfortable. The camera at the back can act like a scanner, while I exam thoroughly with a mini computer program inside the Server. In exchange for the card reader, we can go in to the game and have a communications."

"I understand. But I wonder, why he hasn't come to when we have urgent news?" she asked while looking around.

"Who are talking about?" Gatomon asked.

"Takato, who else," said Kari then looked at Gatomon.

"Oh. He should be here in any second." She said looking at the radar.

"A little impatience, are we?" said Takato just arrive at the food court.

"Well I'm glad that you came," said Kari looking at Takato with a smile. "Glitches appear again at the game but Antylamon clear it off."

"Well that was usual. No other news then," said Takato and started to stand up. But his action has been halted when Kari's hand hold him down.

"There is more. Remember the boy that I brought a while ago?"

"What about him?"

"He just played today and experiences the glitches for the first time."

"What happened to him now?"

"He ran in a complete shock of disbelief and disappointment. But I have to thank him for rescuing Beelzebmon and Gatomon during the battle."

"You what?" he asked with a sudden jump. "You join the battle when the glitch took place? You know what will happened to them right?"

"I know. But Beelzebmon want to join the battle with him as a newcomer. And Gatomon join the battle as well to keep an eye the boy." said Kari with a right excuses.

"So technically it was Beelzebmon's fault. And I just add up to complete the team since he will keep an eye out of everything," said Gatomon from the D â€" Server.

"But in the end he uses the glitches to defend them, although that was his first tries. His speed was somehow enchanted and a new technique appeared before he reached the designated level," explained Kari in her reports."But after the glitches were fixed, I hope it return back to normal."

"What should we do for our next move?" asked Takato with a little bit worried.

"For now I will sent Renamon to search his house. Since she is a vixen, I guess her nose can pick up a scent of his in no time," said Kari planning her next move.

"You know that vixens and dogs were two different kind of animal right?"

"I know, but like I said ‘I guess'."

"If you already found his house, then what will you do?" asked Guilmon from Takato's D â€" Server.

"First we all should apologize, second maybe we do need more team member for this mission. And I could say that I have a selected candidate for it."

"Let me guess, you want to recruit him. Is that right?" Takato asked after knowing her true intention.

"Yes. After all he has the potential to become tamer." Said Kari with full confident.

"Hmm, It seems that your kindness never change." said Takato with a big sigh. "Well what you decide is not my decision to make. It's up to the others."

"What?" asked Kari with a surprise looks when he told that.

"We will get the vote soon. After all Gatomon already told all of us about this incident and it is already a live discussion."

"I never thought that you open up the discussion without telling me," said Kari with a little annoyed.

"Don't be mad, Kari. Besides if this is a military drill, you will be court marshal. If you know what I mean," explained Takato with a smile.

"Well. Let's find a safe place. I need to talk to Renamon. I do believe that she is already here." said Kari to Takato. Then she looked at Gatomon and she simply nod which means that Renamon is already there waiting.

"Why don't you go to the toilet? I'm sure you get more private if it was cleaned," said Takato giving advice to Kari and Renamon if she can hear him. And with a small nod they left to the nearest toilet which just around the block. After they found a toilet, he then said, "After you ladies."

Kari went in and looked around the toilet. There are two people at the toilet, one is still emptying her bladder and the other one is washing her hand. She went in to one of the seat and pretends that she wanted to empty it as well. The washed one has finally left, and the other one had finished hers and washed her hand. She waited for seconds and then the last one left. With a quick pace she went to the door and look at Takato. And Takato replied by hanging a sign telling them that the toilet is being clean.

"Okay, it is clear. You can come out now Renamon," said Kari while looking around the toilet. Suddenly she heard a crash at the janitor's closet, meaning that Renamon just teleport in to that closet.

"A little help in here, I'm stuck," said Renamon from behind the door. Kari opens the closet door and readies her arm to hold Renamon. Renamon fall right in to Kari's arm knowing that she lost balance while jumped in.

"Nice of you to drop in." said Kari with a smirk.

"Thanks for the help," said Renamon. "Is there anything I can do to help you, Kari?"

"I need you to find someone. And all I have about him is this device," she asked while showing the white hand held digivice.

"You know that my nose were not as sharp as a blood hound," said Renamon about her response.

"I know but at least you can try. Right?" said Kari with a smile of discomfort.

Renamon smell the device for a moment, "I can scent his remaining. All right, I'll see what I could do."

"Thanks Renamon. We will inform you more after you found him," said Kari in relief. After that she left. After feeling more relief she clean the closet then went out of the toilet. After telling to Takato that she had finished the conversation, they leave the toilet. "Shall we buy some groceries before going home?"

They looked around the stands to buy necessary food for at least a week like meat, eggs, vegetables, bread, butter, and others. After they bought all the things they need, they went to Kari's car that parked far from the district. When they arrived at the car, she pressed the remote key and the car was automatic unlocked. She opens the trunk luggage and they put the groceries inside.

"How about you let me drive the car this time," asked Takato with a smile looks. "I notice that you're not your regular self today."

"I'm sorry, Takato. Can you?" she asked feeling a little bit tired from the activities recently.

"Don't worry. I didn't get the license for nothing you know. Get in the passenger seat then." He said and with a simple nod she accepted it.

The sun is almost set when they ride home to the apartment and the golden orange skies still illuminating the road they took. Silent filled the tension between them. Takato slightly looked at Kari then turn his attention back to the road again. "Penny for your thoughts, Kari?" he said when he noticed that Kari is still gloom.

"I don't know whether I have chose the right decision or not," said Kari looking at the side window.

"You mean about recruiting him?"

"No. It's about revealing the digimons. I don't know if I have chosen the right one."

"Technically it was my fault from the start," said Gatomon with a sad tone.

"Come now. It can't be help. Don't blame everything to yourself, Kari," said Takato trying to cheer her up. "Look on the bright side. At least both of them had a new friend."

"But still I feel kind of wrong for him."

"I know. And like I said, it can't be help. Ever since we were digi destiny, a sense of justice grew within us without notice."

"Yeah, and I can't stand to see someone got beaten very often, his figures almost the exact like mine," said Gatomon still feeling guilty.

"But hurting humans violates the rules we made together since the gate remain open and some rogue digimon pestering around this world," said Takato with a laugh. "But seriously, don't blame everything on yourself."

"Yeah, I guess you are right," said Kari feeling a little bit confident.

"Kari. Renamon found Alphonse." Said Gatomon warned her. "She is in the park right now and waiting for your order."

"Tell her to confront him like she usually do, and also tell her that he may be already get used of being surprise."

"We're here." said Takato arriving at the apartment they were staying. "Looks like nobody around. We need some extra hand to take hour groceries." Then Takato took out his D â€" Server and pointed out at the street. "Come on out, Guilmon." After he said that, a flash suddenly appeared from his D â€" Server. The flash slowly change form into a ray and pointed directly to the street. The ray suddenly moved again from left to right multiple times in rapid speed. The ray gone in an instant after Guilmon appeared from the ray point.

"Burr..." said Guilmon in shiver. " Finally I'm out."

"Come on Guilmon" said Takato getting out of the car and headed to the luggage trunk. "Help us with the groceries."

"Is Gatomon helping us too?"

"No she can't because she is too small to carry it." Said Kari getting out of the car and headed to the luggage.

"Then I get extra," said Guilmon with glee.

"Huh?" asked Kari and Gatomon simultaneously.

"The manager store said that those who didn't work didn't get anything." Explain Guilmon.

"But the problem is that we are not in the store Guilmon," said Takato with a weak laugh.

"Oh yeah you're right. But that still counts." said Guilmon trying to defend his state.

"Let him be," said Gatomon not in the mood to argue."I'd rather rest for tonight." Guilmon, Takato, and Kari took out the groceries and went to their apartment. After they enter the room, Takato put all the groceries and turn on the computers.

He browsed the computer and found some messages. He looked at the messages thoroughly. "Looks like some of them agree, some of them not," said Takato.

"Who isn't?" asked Kari while starting to cooked.

"So far its Rika; Matt; Joe; Henry; Izzy and Ken."

"And those who agree?"

"Tai, Sora, Davis, Cody, Suzie, and Gennai."

"Gennai, now that's the first." Kari said in stunned after hearing that name.

"I'm guessing that he is curious though." said Takato taking a wild guess. "Speaking of curious wanna tried his character?"

"I guess, but only for a while because we will go to his house tomorrow morning for explaining everything," said Kari explaining her reason.

"Right, I forgot about that," said Takato. "Any way the curry smells nice. Hope you didn't burn it when you left it like that." He continued with a soft sarcastic.

"You want it burnt?" asked Kari sarcastically. "You will get your share after we ate."

"Man. Your attitude becomes more and more like Gatomon," said Takato after knowing Kari since joining the group.

"Well she is my partner. We share the same attitude when need it to. And stop acting so childish" Kari replied and preparing the table. "Dinner's ready, and Gatomon, come on out." Kari point the D â€" Server at the corridor and a sudden flash turn into a beam just like Takato's at the parking lot, only this time Gatomon appeared after the beam stop.

"You *yawn* called, Kari?" asked Gatomon flexing herself for removing the snooze.

"Eat up before you hit the hay, tonight special is curry," replied Kari with a smile. "This one is special one for you. Not too spice and not too hot, just like usual. Correct?" she continued after serving her share.

"You telling me," said Gatomon rubbing her bluish cat's eyes and then smiled.

"And for Guilmon, an extra large portion of curry," said Kari serving large portion of curry for Guilmon.

"Yay... Curry... Curry... Curry..." said Guilmon jumping gleefully like a child.

"And for you, I'll let it boiled a little longer," said Kari in sarcastic tone to Takato.

"What...? You still mad at my jokes?" said Takato.

"Just kidding... here is yours" said Kari smirked and then served the regular curry.

"Now who is the childish one?" said Takato in smiled.

They all eat together for almost an hour enjoying the curry Kari made. Takato helped Kari to clean the dishes while Gatomon put the left over curry at the Tupperware and put it at the fridge. While Guilmon feeling too much only wandering to the computer rubbing his stomach, he looked at the computer and browse the message and counted the message while tried to remember each name of the group.

"Takato," called Guilmon without looking at the kitchen. "I think all the votes are in except you two."

"Technically only me that hasn't vote in." said Takato finishing the dishes and went to the computer. "Let's see who won the vote." He looked at the monitor and sorted the votes. "Looks like you've won the vote Kari. 10 members vote that they agreed to accept him in, if he accepts the offer."

"Thank goodness some of them agreed." She said in relief.

"Not quite though." Said Takato and then he continued on "Some of them agree because we are short of people and an additional team might come in handy."

"If they think about an additional team member then why not recruit others that have Digimons besides him?" she asked with an anger tone.

"Perhaps I can answer that question for you," said a middle age man that came from the computer screen. They looked at the computer and Gennai appeared.

"Gennai, long time no see. Did you grow some beard lately?" Kari asked to Gennai seeing some differences than the usual.

"Like my new looked, I've just upgrade myself recently," said Gennai appraising his own appearance. "Anyway about your question, most of the children have lost their loyalties to the Digimons and abandon them. Those who weren't remain in the team. After I scanned and sort the Digivice's signal the place that you two stays did not have any. So a new member in each region is necessary."

"But you can send all of us here without any trouble. Why the American member didn't reply your request?"

"That will be our second problems. As you can see all of the members got their hands full with their daily lives, and have a few times to investigate this matter. And the third problems is that all of you were more experience than them." said Gennai trying to find an excuses for that question.

"In other words, we are the only person he can trust on," said another voice from behind Gennai with a Chinese dialect.

"Henry," said Takato smiling to hear his old friend again. "How is the encryption going on?"

"You could say not good because the data were insufficient. Even though we worked at that corporation, we still have a limited access to the databank," replied Henry with a disappointed tone.

"That means you were stuck without any lead."

"Pretty much, for now Izzy and I will try to update the game highly in order the second destiny can use their Digital armors again. That way they will be less suspicion about our activities."

"Thanks a lot you two," said Kari feeling happy to hear the upcoming news.

"Well back to business. I want you to recruit him if you can," said Gennai pressing the state. "I believe that he has the potential to become a great Tamer."

"Just in case that he will may we give him the set?" asked Kari to Gennai hoping to hear yes.

"That I need to reconsider first," said Henry. Then they heard a beeping sound. "Suzie wants to come to your place with Rika, Yolei and Impmon. Also if we already made up our mind, the set will be brought along with them."

"Sure. I don't mind them coming, called Guilmon when you are ready," said Takato ending the discussion. "Well, do we have enough food for tomorrow?"

"I guess so," replied Kari.

"Alright then all we need to do is waited," said Takato with a small sigh. AACHOOOO!!! Guilmon suddenly sneeze right in front of Takato. "Eww, did you get a cold or something my dino friend?"

"No I didn't." said Guilmon while rubbing his nose. "My nose suddenly twitches by themselves."

"As the wise men tell, sneezing without any cold means someone is talking bad about you and they are usually close friend," said Kari with a giggle seeing Takato being sprayed by Guilmon.

"Hmm. Someone closed like a friend," said Guilmon tried to think hard on who might be. "My only guess is Renamon, because she is the only Digimon that think me like that."

"Maybe," said Takato while cleaning Guilmon's drool off him. "I remember that first time you met her, you are her enemy. But in the end we are all friends."

"Yeah, I remember that too," said Guilmon smiling. "Hmm, I've just got a call from Henry. He said to stand clear from the computer." After Guilmon warned all of them to stand clear the computer. The computer screen itself started to flash.

In front of the computer stood three figures, all three of them were women and one of them brought a case. The first woman wears a blue ocean shirt, long dark blue skirt, wearing purple shade. Her age around 30 and her hair is red brown blonde, her name is Rika. Her D - Server was blue with white lining. The second one wears red tank-top and white jeans. Her hair were purple knotted her age is the same as Kari, her name is Yolei. And her D â€" Server were crimson red with black lining. The last one wears brown stripes complete with double jeans shirt, a pink jeans, and her hair were dark brown pale tied like a knot as well. Her age is the same as Alphonse, and her name is Suzie. She brought two D â€" Server with her, one is purple with black lining and the other one is light brown with pink lining.

"Welcome to our humble home, guys," said Takato with a smile. "Or in this case, welcome to our humble home, girls. Ha-ha."

"Still trying to impress yourself, I see," said Rika with a cold tone. "You're still lame as ever Takato." She continued with a smile.

"And I can see you haven't changes a bit, besides your hair style," said Takato dropping his act. "Hey there, Suzie, it's been a while."

"Yes it is, brother Takato," said Suzie with a cheer full smile. "Good evening, Kari."

"Good evening to you too, Suzie," said Kari smiling. "And you can skip the formalities if you don't mind."

"Okay!" she said with a happy tone, almost exactly like Guilmon.

"Still trying to act nice in front of a kid?" said Yolei with a smile.

"Let's just I want to befriend with others, if that is okay with you, Yolei," said Kari looking at her with a warm smile. "I see you got yourself a ring. Who is it from?"

"What this?" Yolei asked while showing her ring. "Well I bought it at the cheap store, you know what I mean." Yolei smiled without expressing any doubt.

All human except Suzie looked at Yolei's ring and they yelled "Liar!" almost simultaneously.

"That ring is way too expensive for a cheap store," said Kari. "I'm guessing that is an engagement ring like mine. Also I can guess from who you got it from. It was Ken wasn't it?"

"You got me in the eye, Kari," said Yolei laughing. "Man, you're sharp one."

"You haven't changes a bit after joining with the team," said Kari folding her arm like she is in the bad mood. "But that's what makes you are you and I like it." She continued again with a smile.

"Any way I will tidy the rooms for you three. You can enjoy yourselves for a while." Said Takato and then left to his room first.

"Any news so far from Renamon?" asked Rika while removing her shade.

"When Takato and I went back to the apartment, Renamon called in and I told her to confront him. I do believe that she is at his house by now," said Kari.

"Confront him as in meeting him and tried to befriend with him?" asked Suzie.

"Yes. That is exactly what I meant."

"There is no way she can be friendly," said Yolei while waving her hand. "We know attitude toward us before the introduction."

"FAT CHANCE, sweet chicks," said a male voice coming from the purple D - Server.

"What do you mean by that Impmon!" yelled Yolei after grabbing that D â€" Server.

"I know Rena far too long before you met her. I'm pretty sure that she can confront with that punk real nice," said a digimon by the name Impmon. Impmon is a small humanoid imp creature with a tail and large pointed ears. He wears a pair of red gloves and a matching red scarf and an evil smile seemingly tattooed underneath. Right now he is folding his arm acting cool at Yolei.

"I hate to break it but it is true," said Rika sitting at the sofa leg crossed. "She may look cold on the outside, but she has a warm heart on the inside."

"Um... I agree with them though," said another digimon with a soothing sound and this time it's in the light brown D â€" Server.

"I see." Said Yolei sighing. "I guess close friends were more understand with each other."

"Hmph... Get real." said Impmon still acting cool.

"Ha-ha... still bashful one I see, Impmon?" said Guilmon laughing.

"I DARE you said that AGAIN!" said Impmon bluntly in embarrassment.

"Wow you getting all red on the face, Impmon." Said Suzie giggle by his action.

"Ugh... HMPH!" is all Impmon stated avoiding eye contact, arms folded, faces getting redder from his own embarrassment.

"Relax there, old champ," said another male digimon and he came from the red D â€" Server. "The more you do that, the more we get to know you better." All of them laugh by Impmon's reaction.

Gatomon stretch her body in the corner room awaken from her snooze. "*Yawn* what's with all the laughter?" asked Gatomon yawning tears welled up in her left eye. Then she looked at the surrounding and saw the newcomer. "Oh... I see that we have guests."

"Sleep well I believe?" asked Kari with a smile.

"Yes I do until I heard the laugh just now, hi there Yolei, Hawkmon."

"Hello there to you too, Gatomon," replied Yolei.

"It is pleasure to see you again, Gatomon." Said Hawkmon in polite like a gentleman. Hawkmon is a small hawk-like Digimon with red feathers and large yellow feet. His wings each have three black digits,and he can use them like fingers. He has blue eyes, and wears a belt around his forehead like a headband.

"And welcome Suzie, Rika, Impmon, and Lopmon." Said Gatomon after seeing them with the D â€" Server attach at them.

"Likewise, Gatomon," said Rika.

"Hi there Gatomon," said Suzie with a smile.

"Good evening, Gatomon," said Lopmon.

"Yo," said Impmon without looking at her.

"Guess I better head back at the room then. Good night," said Gatomon yawning again and then head back to Kari's room.

"So what would you like to drink?" asked Kari.

"Anything would be fine Kari," said Rika.

"Juices, please," said Yolei and Suzie simultaneously.

"Ho no Gatomon," said Takato still tidying up at Kari's bed room. "You will be sleeping at my room for a while."

"Guess that it then. Hang on a sec while I go get the drinks." Said Kari and headed to the kitchen.

After that they talked to each other for at least after Takato finish cleaning the rooms.

"There, all the rooms are finish," said Takato while bringing out a futon to the living room. "Kari and one more will be sleeping at my room. And the rest will be sleeping at Kari's."

"Okay then. Good night then everyone," said Rika.

"Hold it," said Takato. "Only girls may enter. So the boys will sleep at the living room with me."

"So that what that futon for." Said Kari finally understands.

"Alright then," said Yolei, then Yolei and Suzie point the D â€" Server to the corridor. "Hawkmon,"

"Lopmon, Impmon," continue Suzie. "Come on Out," they said simultaneously. And then the ray of light appears similar like Takato and Kari. And then Impmon, Hawkmon and Lopmon appeared. Lopmon's appearances were resemblances to a rabbit just like Antylamon, his other form. His fur was mostly light brown except his ears, paw feet, and his neck, that resemblance to a collar shirt, were pink. Still with his shyness and politeness, almost everyone that doesn't know him think as female.

"Well good night then, boys," said Yolei then head to Kari's room.

"Good night, my lady," said Hawkmon. While Lopmon bowed in polite and Impmon didn't look at them ignored.

"Oh, I almost forgot," said Suzie, and then her head peered from the hall that lead to the bedrooms. "There's a package for him from my brother and Gennai. It's right next to the computer."

"I see. Thanks for the package, Suzie. Good night." Said Takato and then readied the futon.

It is already past nine and Takato already felt sleepy after tidying up the rooms. Guilmon was still playing around with the others, until Impmon move away from the crowd sitting next to me.

"I can't really understand Guilmon. Why he always acted like a nosy brat up until now?" he asked. His hands were at his back of his head relaxing on the sofa.

"Well," said Takato in order to replying his question with hypothesis. "At first, I only created him normally like he should. But unfortunately I didn't think any of his intelligence. And thus he acted like a new born, learning and understanding each word we speak."

"A new born heh?" he said sighing with that last sentence. "As far as I remember, we Digimon always have born with knowledge of how to survive ourselves. Hmph, But I can only guess that would be our instinct of survival."

"True. After further studies about animals and all of you everything looks the same, and probably even more equal to human."

"Guess you were right." He replied and then lean forward arms resting at his imp leg, "Even though I despise about being the same as human."

"Right, I forgot about your past before the D-Reaper incident." He chuckled. "Anyway, would you like to drink something?"

"I would like to try a beer from this world, if you don't mind."

"Are you sure you old enough?" he asked sarcastically.

"Since when does age account in Digimon?" he asked with an annoyed look. But Takato only gave a laugh and went to the kitchen.

He came back only with one can of beer and gave it to Impmon. "Hope you didn't bother with the taste."

Impmon took the can and open with his middle index since he has only three. He drank the beer for a while then suddenly he burst it out, almost getting choked of surprise.

"Guess you do bother with the taste. I'll take it back then," said Takato after knowing the outcome for the first tries.

"No. It's okay," said Impmon recovering from his cough. "I just never thought it would taste like this."

"Really?" said Takato in full of curiosity. "Well, if you said so. I'll be back for my share." Then he went back to the kitchen again and took another can of beer for himself.

Both of them drink together for a moment looking at Hawkmon, Lopmon, and Guilmon fast asleep after playing around. Takato began the conversation before hitting the hay. "So what do you think about that boy?"

"You mean the kid called Alphonse?" asked Impmon while looking at his can. "He is a little weak and scary-cat at my first. More like a wimp, if I say." Takato nodded a little. "But strangely I owe him my life. He lunges forward to protect me and Angewomon that were disabled by the glitches, even though he knew that his only level 1."

"Feeling regret now, aren't we?" said Takato.

"Heh. You could say that." Then suddenly Impmon felt sad. "I'm such a weak. I'm completely useless. I always wanted to be cool guy by acting wild and protecting the weak. And yet I was being protected by a 13 year old brat. It's the same thing happened again when I've been saved by you."

"Hey now, don't feel so upset," said Takato trying to cheer him up. "Back then you were under the influence of the Deva. So you can't blame everything on yourself."

"But back then I was hunger for power, and Zhuqiaomon gave the power that I need most. Because of that I felt completely useless." Said Impmon almost burst into tears.

"But in the end you regain that power back without their help, even better though I guess. You have changed a lot back then and willing to help others when they're in trouble. If you feel weak right now, try to become stronger in the future."

"But.... But...." He asked however being interrupted by Takato.

"Of course we will try to help you. Right now all of us tried to find the source of the glitches although we can only resolve with the barrier belt. Just be confident in yourself, alright?"

Then Impmon cried out loud, between sobs he said, "I'm such a looser!"

"There... there. Let it all out," said Takato patting Impmon head. "Like the human said, Let it all out to make you feel better."

"I'm sorry, Takato," said Impmon crying more in Takato's lap. "I'm sorry."

Impmon keep on crying for minutes until he fell asleep at Takato's lap. Takato drank his beer to his heart content, until he heard a soft timid voice. "Finally he slept at last." And yet, Takato didn't surprise one bit.

"Did he woke you up, Lopmon?" asked Takato smiled at the rabbit Digimon who still lying down. Lopmon slowly stand up not want to wake others and walks toward Takato.

"With all the sobbing, how can I get some rest?" he replied with a whisper. "I never saw his action before."

"I could only guess that he was drunk," said Takato and then looked at his beer. "When humans get drunk, they sometimes said something that pop out from their mind without second thoughts. And I guess that this include Digimon as well."

"But still, what he said earlier really tear up my heart."

"You mean you felt ‘pity' about him? I could feel the same way." Said Takato and then gulping the last of the remaining of the beer he had. "But never the last, everything has changed."

"Yes, but the questions are to better or worse?" he asked with a long sigh.

"About that, it is up to them to choose whether it was better or worse." Said Takato moving Impmon slowly in order to not to wake him up.

"Then what about you? What is your point of view?"

"To me, I think it is getting better." He answered while lying on the sofa pulling the blanket for him to cover himself from the cold night. "Good night, Lopmon." His final words and then after ten minutes, Lopmon can hear Takato's snore.

"To me everything changes to worse since the human created that game in the first place." Lopmon whispered in sad sigh. "But as long I had Suzie and all of you, I think I can withstand everything. The only problem is how long can keep up." And then he went back to sleep again, this on the sofa with Impmon and Takato.
