Wow it toke me nearly two weeks just to do this one so sorry it took so longe. No-yiff, sorry you horny bastads but that won't happen for awhile, so keep yourselfs under control ok?

Heartless Dragon: Part 1 Family conflict

Derek watched as the sun came up from behind the mountains. He sat on top of the water truck and scanned the area around him from any Hellfires or anything else. Nobody else was awake which is what he wanted. He had just woken before he could make Aurora fall asleep. He scanned vigilantly over the horizon and used his helmet for anything out of the ordinary.

After awhile, he started to think about his past. It was a strange topic for him to think of. The only thing about his past that he knew about was him being there with his family. It seemed like it was any normal day.

His parents were happily talking with other Shadeian in the house while him and his younger sister were playing outside along with their friends who were a mixture of elements and species. During the time they were playing, they were all playing predator and prey. Him and his sister went into the house to hide. They didn't know that they had hidden in a conversation that ended it badly. They hid inside of the closet of the living room when it happened. Three Light dragons came into the house. His parents thought that they were just friends but they were actually colleges of work. They didn't come to disgust work, they came here to humiliate them. Reasons were being were because they were better workers then the light dragons. The light dragons thought they could find some dirt on them and hopefully get them fired.

His parents didn't take to kindly to there plans and decided to fight them off but they easily fought back against them. It pained Derek to see his parents fighting. At such a young age almost a youngling at it and his sister a bit younger.

All he remembered from that night was that he heard his sister crying which made him angered and his parents and their friends were physically fighting. All he knew was that the second that he got out of the closet he blacked out.

Then he woke up to see that the light dragons were dead, bleeding from every part of their bodies. His parents were a bit frightened at what they had saw before them. Derek didn't know why they were staring at him but they seemed afraid.

This later got out and nearly all Shadeian started repulsing back against Light dragons. The public saw this as a national treat and ordered a law that all Shadeians, would be captured and brought in to custody. Shadeians didn't take that to well so they began destruction of local property. A few got captured during the process but nearly the whole race of Shades have gone into hiding, living the world to deal with their aftermath. However, some Shadeians stayed and tried to help the community clean up and hoped that they would still be accepted. Some were legally still part of the community so they had rights not to be captured or jailed, but some races still hated them.

Derek's family had ran from their house with all their belongings and fled. However, he stayed along with one of the neighbors to raise him. His mother and father all gave him depressed hugs and saddening good byes. They wanted him to stay so he can grow up and have a better life. He did and it turned out to be a good one. His parents however, they would visit but have little time to do it. A week at most they would visit but no more. One time they took him with them to their hideaway in the small islands of Hawaii.

No longer a US state but still had occupants which were only a few dragons. Only three types lived there; Pyroians, Aquaians and Crawlers along with some marine life. They knew that mostly a lot of Shadeians lived here and most of these dragons were friends and relatives. The Shadeians lived within the volcano that has long since died. However they lived underground were there is miles upon miles of caves, tunnels and places to live. He wished that none of this happened and that he could make it world wide were Shadeians could live and no longer hide. It was his dream to make it happen. He just hoped that through him, he could send a message to all creatures that not all of his kind are cold hearted killers.

All thoughts were distracted when he felt a arm on him. He turned to see Alivia smiling down at him. She gave him a gentle kiss on his forehead before sitting by his side. "Why are you so up so early?" she asked as she laid her head on his shoulder and looked at the sunrise.

He sighed deeply and continued to look at the sunrise. "Just thinking."

She sighed softly as she wrapped her arm around his and chuckled. "You know, we are probably the first Shadeian and Light dragon couple together?"

He smiled and nodded. "Yeah and that we are probably the smartest and powerful dragons as well." he said as he leaned his hand at the edge of the truck for support.

She chuckled and looked up at him. "Well I don't care about that. I just want to make sure that we will be together when we live together." he nodded. "And when we start having children."

He was surprised by her last words and slipped his hands and fell off the truck, quickly letting go of Alivia as he fell. He landed on the floor with a giant grunt and making a small crater on the floor, shaking it.

Alivia quickly jumped off and landed by his side. "Derek, I'm sorry. Are you alright?"

He slowly picked himself up and brushed his clothes of the dirt. "Yeah just a small fall."

She looked up at him and his eyes. "Why were you surprised that I said we would start having children? Do you not want to have children?"

Derek shook his head and looked at her eyes and gave a small chuckle. "No its not that love, its just well... I didn't really expect you to say something like that so early of our relationship."

Alivia closed the small gap between them and looked up at the slightly taller dragon. "But you still want to have children with me?" she asked almost as if he said no, she would be broken.

Derek looked down at her eyes and lowered his head. "Of course I do." he looked back at her and hugged her tightly. "I love you. I want us to live together, raise a child together. I would do anything for you."

She smiled and grew small tears and hugged him back. "Thank you. I have always dreamed this." They both stayed like that for awhile as they enjoyed each others brace.

It wasn't till they both let go and turned around to see everyone out of their tents, with each other and looking at the two couples with a grin.

Derek was blushing a bit and Alivia had a playful angered face. She saw their grins before she grew a smirk. "Oh shut up!" she said to them all. They all burst into laughs. Derek laughed along and everyone was a bit pleased by the new happy couple.

After the whole day, the whole team had spent their time with each other talking. They also began putting on their suits on to leave. It has been two days since they have been here. Long have they been there it was time for Derek and the team to head back to the base. Once everyone had their suit back on and ate from what food they had, they quickly left.

They climbed high before they all used their boosters and entered sonic speeds. They quickly headed towards the ocean where day was quickly turning to night as they were entering the US boarders.

By close midnight, Derek and the team had finally reached their base. They all went in, all except for Derek. He stayed outside, hovering over the base. He stayed a bit as he saw everyone entering the base before he angled his body and headed to Van Angeles. He didn't want to bother talking with Lancer and everyone else. Knowing them, they would charge him for stealing government property, illegally leaving the US, interfering with government work, and revealing identities of fellow team which are to be kept secret. He headed home and all he wanted to do now was truly rest.

At his door steps, he took off his helmet and opened the door. It surprised him that it was unlocked. He guessed that his friends probably are still here. He entered and saw the living room empty. He quickly took off his armor and put it to the side of the living room. He then sat lazily on the couch and turned on the TV. The news went on and a male wolf came on. "Good evening my fellow Angelinos. Today was a tragic day for many of us. For two days, the Hellfires have been fighting against American forces. Luckily, seven dragons with some sort of combat gear helped out our forces in the hellfire territory. However, they were outmatched by the number of Hellfires. And at that, the American base in the Hellfire territory was lost. But as the battle was seemingly lost, one other dragon joined the group and managed to destroy the Hellfire attack force without any further casualties. Thanks to the brave dragon, who so easily out flanked enemy fighters and rescued his fellow teammates, we are truly thankful for this fellow dragon. And from what reports tells us, that are fellow hero was a Shadeian. Wow! Well since of his brave act and... courage to come out of hiding, well, I now have no doubts that our fellow Shadeian brothers are just as caring as the rest of us."

And with that, Derek sighed with happiness. Furs, scales, and other animals of the world would soon change their minds about Shadeians now. He probably did what many Shadeians wanted to do for awhile but didn't have the courage to. He smiled and turned off the TV. He headed up his stairs and knew that now, he wanted to sleep. At the final step up, he heard noises come from one of the rooms. He quickly walked to the last door on the right at the end of the hallway. As he neared the door, he put his head to the door and listened carefully. He heard the bed rustling and moaning coming from inside. He came up with two solutions. One his friends were giving massages to each other or two, he did not even want to think about. He slowly reached for the knob and opened it. It slowly opened it and looked inside.

As soon as he saw what he did, he quickly closed the door and shook his head. Not even trying to think that all three of his friends were have sex in his guestrooms. He quickly walked downstairs and decided to turn on the TV again.

Once down stairs, he heard the door knock. "Who would be up at this hour?" he asked himself.

He walked to the door and opened. It was a bit of a surprise to see Alivia here. She was wearing a white, long sleeved shirt and a light blue skirt. It almost made her seemed beautiful, almost, if it wasn't for her weird anger and her arms crossed. "Alivia, what are you doing here?"

She growled a bit before she walked up to him, making him move back a bit. "Why did you just leave? Why didn't you come with us?"

Derek just shrugged and sighed before he closed the door. "Let us discuss this outside."

"Why?" she walked past him. "Am I not your mate? I thought you would want me to live with you?" she said almost angrily and all most offended

"I do." he started. "Its just well...."

"Yes? I don't know what is wrong in here and..." she stopped when she heard a scream upstairs.

"Oh Viper! Yes!" cried one of them.

Alivia looked upstairs before giving Derek a confused look.

He sighed. "Friends." was all he said. She thought about it before she blushed a bit. "Oh." she said quietly.

He nodded shyly before he scratched his head and looked to her. "So? You want to go out?'

She quickly nodded and he closed the door before he took wing along with her. They quickly flew at the night sky, passing by all the homes. Derek lead them both to the top of the hill by his home and they landed on top of a clear, flat grass top. They both sat next to each other. Derek looked out to the city north of them and down below while Alivia looked at her mate. Her concern was manly him and hoped that he would answer her question.

It took some time before Derek came up with his thoughts and spoke softly to her without removing his eyes from the city. "I ... didn't want to go in because I fear that Lancer would fire me or throw me in jail for stealing military equipment and for illegally using it. Not to mention how I managed to upgrade my armor and not yours. He would think I would have done it on purpose and made it so I would save you all and make me the hero. That's why."

She continued to look up at him before she wrapped her arm around his and lay her head on it. She sighed. "Well... I don't know about throwing you into jail but when we told him that you were our savior, he was first pissed that you did steal the suit but then he was relieved that you saved us all."

He shook his head. "Still. I don't think I should come back there any way." He slowly stood up looked away from the city and looked towards the west were the ocean was.

Alivia slowly stood up. "What do you mean you aren't going back? You have to come back Derek. I won't let you walk away from this. Its your job now, to make sure our equipment is fixed and that you lead us."

Derek nodded. "I know that Alivia but I just want to take some time off. I want to go out."

She walked up to his side and looked out the ocean. "Where will you go?"

He didn't answer. He took a in a deep breath. "I am going to visit my family. Its been long since I seen them."

She took her time to realize that his family meant were all the Shadeians lived. She couldn't risk this but... she wanted to meet the family she hopefully will become hers as well. She looked up to him and spoke softly. "Then I'm going with you."

Derek shook his head. "No. I can't allow your safety be compromised by my family. Not to mention that the second they see is the second I would have to protect you with my own life. I love you but I don't want you to be in trouble."

She grew a bit unease. "Derek, you are my mate. I am suppose to go through anything with you. Whether or not its dangerous or its just somewhere or nowhere in particular, I am supposed to go where you go and be with you and face whatever we encounter."

He sighed. "Fine, but we will leave in the morning and... I have to check for any homing beckons on you."

"Why would I have any homing beckons?'

"Well first, I am pretty sure that they put it into you when you had your shots. They put it in you just in case of capture or lost somewhere. It's safety protocol and since you all joined, you all have it except for me since I didn't join the team."

She sighed with relief. "Fine." she yawned a bit. "Will do this in the morning." she then thought. "Uhhh what about your um... friends and their...?"

Derek chuckled shyly. "Well hopefully they're done by now and..." he sighed angrily. "I am going to kill them if they don't wash my blankets when they're done." he growled and it made Alivia chuckle.

"Well don't worry, if they are not done, we will throw water at them. And who are they any way? Sorry to ask but why would you let some crazy teens in the house?"

Derek chuckled. "Well first they are my best friends. They were my first friends when I first started as a scientist. After the army recruited me, they kept in touch with me and most of the stuff I get for my designs are mostly there ideas and I just help improve or change their ideas. And second, they are not teens. They just sound like teens but they are adults. One of them is a Shadeian like me."

"Another?" asked Alivia.

Derek smiled. "The only other one. Then its my raptoress friend Casey. Then its my friend Viper a female snake. They all are scientist that are, well as smart as me. I will tell you this right now. If you need any help and I am not there, you can call them up and they will help you."

She smiled. "Well that's good to know that we have other smart people to help us."

Once they entered Derek's door, they saw all three of them in the kitchen, eating and watching the small TV on the counter. They all turned to see Derek come in along with another dragon. "Hey Derek. Your back and you brought a friend with you." said Lash

Derek smiled before putting an arm around Aurora. "Guys, this is Alivia White Aurora. She is my mate and is part of the team I helped build the suits with."

Mate, huh?" asked Casey with a smile.

"When did you get a mate?" asked Viper. "Last I checked, you were a single dragon."

Derek smiled along with Alivia. "Well I liked to tell you but first I would like to know how all of you became... intimate together." he said with a smirk.

Lash, Casey and Viper all went wide eyed. "How did you know?" they all asked.

Derek and Aurora chuckled. "Aw well," began Derek. "It would be that I have hunch and that you three got caught and I was joking, getting you to reveal it."

All three of them growled at him, knowing fully well that they got trapped. "Or," finishing Derek. "That you all are very loud."

Both females blushed and Lash just chuckled. "well next time we will be quiet."

Derek smiled before he spoke. "Yeah and now I should start charging you three and you have to do the blankets you dirtied ."

All of them laughed before Derek and Aurora sat down on the couch. "Before I forget," said Derek. "We have to do a check on Alivia for any homing beckons on her before we leave."

"Were are you guys going?' asked Viper as she slithered up to them.

Derek sighed before he brought Aurora closer to him. "Me and Alivia going to visit my family. We need a break away from the facility. As for the homing beckon, we need to rid of it from her so the military can't track us when we go to visit my family hideaway."

Alivia looked to Derek. "Are you sure that they can find it and remove it?" she asked.

Derek nodded. "Of course. Lash, can you go down to the basement and look for me radio jammer. If we can mess with the signal, it should short circuit the homing beckon."

"Sure." he ran down to the basement.

"Viper, can you find some sleeping pills, I don't want Alivia awake when we remove it." she slithered up the stairs to the bathroom.

Alivia was a bit frightened. "Is it safe?"

Derek smiled. "Don't worry love, we will make sure that you aren't awake."

She sighed and nodded. "Fine but I don't really understand why you want me asleep." A small smile formed on her lips. "Do you just want to look for the homing beckon or you just want to see my body."

Derek blushed before smiling and giving her a gentle lick on her face. "Maybe but I want to do that when we try to make children."

She smiled and gave him a gentle lick and soon they were giving each other kisses and licks. Casey was sill there. She groaned before the raptoress went down stairs to help Lash.

An hour later, Alivia was asleep and all three were looking for the homing beckon. Derek was using the radio jammer to find the homing beckon. The jammer was beeping when he passed it by her arm. They quickly cut small scissors and started to slowly cut open her arm.

Inside of her arm, there was a small black beeping electronic device. It was saucer shaped and it was no bigger then half the size of a penny.

They quickly removed it without further harm before Viper and Casey quickly stitched it back together. Then they slowly waited till Alivia came back around.

Alivia woke up in the following morning. She found herself on a bed and was inside of a dark blue colored room. She slowly rubbed her eyes of the sleep and her sounds in the room.

She slowly sat herself up and saw Derek by his closet packing some clothes. She smiled warmly before she uncovered herself, finding out that she was wearing some pajamas that were bright pink. She was a bit startled by this but ignored it when she slowly walked behind Derek while he wasn't looking.

She wrapped her arms around his waist surprising him a bit and pulled him towards her before she turned him around and kissed him fully on the lips.

Derek pushed back at the kiss and wrapped her arms around her pulling her close. "Good morning to you too." he said softly.

She gave him another kiss before she looked into his eyes. "How did I get into pajamas?"

Derek smiled a bit. "Well I couldn't let you sleep with clothes on."

Aurora chuckled. "Who's are these any ways?"

Derek sighed still having his arms around her. "They were my sister's. I um... kept some of my family's clothing and material for like memories."

Alivia gave him a gentle kiss. "I hoped you enjoyed my body."

Derek chuckled before nodding. "Yes but as I said before I won't mess with your body in till we plan for children.... As I promised."

She smiled again before giving another kiss to him. "Good enough for me." she separated and headed fro his bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower so we can leave."

Derek nodded. "I will leave you clothes out for you while I will go and make breakfast."

She gave a smirk. "So are you going to chose what kind of panties I wear? Or what bras to put one? I don't think so because knowing you, you would probably give me something see through."

"Damnit!" Derek said with a cheesy angered face. "Fine I will get out my families clothes so you can chose."

Aurora smiled. "Thank you love." and with that she closed the door.

Derek pulled out his families clothes inside of the closet. He pulled out al of the clothes and set them down on the bed. It wasn't a second later that he started to hear humming from the bathroom.

He turned around to hear Aurora humming a soft tune and upon that, he could hear her clothes hitting the floor. He quietly walked up to the bathroom door and put his head upon the door. He still heard her humming but didn't hear anything else. She spoke out loud. "I won't undress more in till you get out of the room." she said in a teasing voice.

Derek mentally cursed before he walked out of the room and closed the door.

He headed down stairs were he saw that all three of his friends were laying on the floor. Lash was the bottom while the raptoress, Casey, was second with her head on his chest and last was Viper, the snake who wrapped herself around Casey.

He giggled softly at the sight before he slowly walked to the kitchen and began breakfast. He turned on his small tv for the news. A white male wolf was in on the morning news.

Derek went to his refrigerator and brought out some eggs, bacon, and some toast. It wasn't long before he cracked the eggs, fried the bacon and put the toast in the toaster.

Soon everyone except Aurora had woken to the smell. Viper was the first one to slither over the kitchen trailed behind by Casey and Lash. "You making breakfast for us all?" asked Lash, hoping that he was right.

Derek sighed and nodded. "Sure." Both the girls cheered a bit and Lash grew excited. "But you are all doing the dishes."

They all groaned but never the less, they still waited for their breakfast. Everyone grabbed plates and Derek served them all.

Derek decided to wait in till Aurora would come down that way he could eat with her. He cooked himself something and then grabbed a second plate for Aurora. He put bacon, eggs and the toast on the plate then poured some juice for her into a glass before he took it all upstairs.

All three of the friends saw this before the two females turned to Lash. "How come you never do that for us?" they both said at the same time. Lash just gave a heavy sigh. He had been with them for awhile and they suddenly bring this up.

Derek slowly opened the door and found the room empty. He turned around to hear the shower still running and steam slowly coming from the door. He could barely hear her humming through the sound of the water running.

"Aurora," he called to her. "Breakfast is ready."

There was no answer for a bit before the sound of the water stopped and steps coming out of the shower were heard.

Derek slowly laid the breakfast on the bed and was about to leave when Aurora called. "Don't leave yet."

He stopped and just waited there for her. She continued to hum as he heard put on some of her clothes before the door slowly opened. Derek was quite surprised to see how beautiful she looked. All she was wearing were a pare of slick white panties that seemed to be see through and a bra strap. Both clothes seemed to be blended into her scale color.

"Wow." was all he managed to say.

Aurora smiled and gave a wink. "Like what you see?" she asked as she swayed her tail.

Derek could only nod and watch HIS mate came slowly to him, teasing him with her lowered eyes, swaying body and slow walk.

She came up to him and put his hands on his chest. "So... when are we going to have our hatchlings?"

Derek was so surprised by her sudden question again, that he nearly fell back on the breakfast he set out for them. He managed to move around it and fall onto the floor. This time he brought Aurora down with him with him on the bottom while she was on top. They both stared at each other. It was Aurora's slick smile that broke their sudden awkwardness. "Well, aren't we eager."

Derek smiled but it was a nervous smile. "Sorry. I slipped."

Aurora smiled before laying on his chest. She could hear the fast heart beat that was seeming to pound on his chest. She looked up at him and saw him with a nervous look. "Derek, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." he said nervously.

She slowly stood up so she was sitting on his chest and looking down on him. "What's wrong?" she asked more sternly.

He was now getting more nervous and he knew that there was no way to avoid it. She wanted to have a child now and he didn't know what to do in this situation. He didn't want to tell her about his families' place in children. He quickly thought of something. "Uh, your breakfast is getting cold. Hurry up and eat it so we can leave sooner. Hopefully we can get out of hear and avoid anything bad like you and your stuff." He stood up and picked her up along with him before he walked out of the room.

He sighed as he closed the door behind him. "Oh shit!" He just thought what he had done. He's not going to hear the end of this. He prayed that she was angered with him.

Almost as if she had heard him, she opened the door and tugged him in and locked the door with a slam.

Downstairs, both Viper and Casey were doing the dishes when they both heard a large slam upstairs. They both looked at each other and tried to hear. There was no sound in till they both heard that sound of a male squealing in pain and a angered voice of the female.

Both females looked at each other and tried to listen more. Lash came into the kitchen to give them strange looks. "Do you guys hear that?"

They both nodded and all of them heard more pained sounds only this time, a loud roar was heard. They both rushed to the stair ways only to jump out of the way when Derek came falling down stairs and landed by their feet with a large thump. They all looked upstairs to see Aurora staring hard at Derek.

"And next time, think before you say something or I will hurt you and drag your ass when I'm in heat!" And with that she slammed the door leaving Derek to groan.

He looked up at his friends and sighed. "Lash I am going to tell you this right now. IT is a good that you have two mates that are not dragonesses. Dragoness are the toughest of them all and they will hurt you. Take it from me, a dragon with a dragoness mate."

The door upstairs opened and Aurora growled. "I heard that!" She then slammed the door.

All three couples remained quite and Derek sighed again before slowly standing up and walked to his basement. "I'll.... Be back in a bit." And then he opened the door before closing in behind him, leaving the couple to look at each other before returning to their duties.

About an hour later, Aurora came down stairs packed with a small suitcase and Derek came out of the basement, carrying some sort of small device. Aurora was a bit more calm when she walked up to Derek. "You ready?"

Derek nodded and put the small device in his inside shirt. "Yeah. Now we have to leave as soon as possible."

"Right."

Derek nodded and turned around to his friends, who were watching T.V. "Now I don't know how long this will take so incase we aren't back for awhile. Can you all clean whatever you dirty, pick up my mail, and please.... Don't make of mess of yourself when you three screw each other."

All three of them giggled. "Sure no problem Derek." said Casey

Derek eyed them all. "Fine but I expect my house cleaned when I return. Oh and please don't invite any one else to the house."

Lash smiled evilly "Sure Derek. What ever you say."

Derek sighed and knew Lash easily will disobey him. He turned to Aurora. "Hold on." He walked to the basement quickly and walked back out, locking the basement with his keys. "All right Lash since you gave me that face I decided to put on my hidden cameras on."

Lash and the girls went wide eyed. "What! You put on cameras on us!?" Lash yelled.

"Of course." said Derek. "Now I know who will come and I can easily play back the cameras video and then for every fur, scale or whoever comes in, I will charge you for their stay."

"Oh man. That is not cool Derek." complained Lash.

Derek smiled. "Well to bad. Now good by and I will see you all soon." With that he opened the door and walked out with Aurora and closed it behind him

Outside, Derek smiled. "You ready, love?"

Aurora nodded. "OF course. But where is it that we are going?"

"Hawaii."

"Why there?"

Derek smiled. "Its our first stop."

"Isn't that place abandoned?"

"By the U.S, yes but some still occupy the island, mostly sea live and a few dragons."

"Fine but I hope we can get there soon."

Derek and Aurora quickly flew to the coast line where they picked up a few supplies before they finally flew, to the hidden homeland where the Shadeians lived.
