Comments and criticisms welcome and as always I do not own these characters!

Spyro awoke from a deep, though unsatisfying sleep. His exhaustion had finally overcome his tormented mind and he had collapsed into troubled dreams almost as soon as he returned from Terrador's room the night before. As his eyes opened, there was a moment of tiredness-fogged confusion where he struggled to figure out what time it was and what he had to do that day but after a few seconds of his brain slowly rebooting, he finally felt everything about the previous few days rush to the forefront of his mind; spying Cyril practically mounting Flame, being told by Terrador that Flame and the Guardians all had an interest in males and, of course, the terms of his punishment.

He groaned quietly and dropped his head back onto his pillow. How was he going to look at Flame the same way again? The whole 'liking males' thing didn't really bother him; Flame could love who he wanted to love, but thinking of Flame having sex with the Guardians; their teachers? That was something he was going to struggle to deal with. He felt his stomach tighten as he thought about it. He had briefly considered the idea that Flame and the Guardians were involved in something like that when he had spied on the Guardians two nights ago but he hadn't considered it for very long. It made the whole scene of Flame and Cyril around the fire a lot more unbearable to think about. The idea that Cyril had obviously dominated his young friend before, the way he called him a 'glutton for punishment'. Ancestors above, what had they done behind closed doors?! That's without even thinking about the size difference involved between Flame and Cyril. The Ice Guardian was practically twice his size. Had Flame slept with all of them? Terrador's words had certainly made it sound likely.

He tried to shake the thoughts from his head by thinking about something else but he was a young adult now and mornings were particularly 'difficult' for him. Hormones seemed to always build up in his body during the night and so by morning he was a burning pool of arousal, his cock lying hard against his lower stomach from even before the moment he opened his eyes. Anything sexual was always going to add to the already-bloated pool of desire that raged through him right now. Heck, even as tired as he was and confused about the last few days, he still wanted to just grab his cock and sate his lust, if only to satisfy one of his many unsatisfied emotions.

What made it worse though was that as he thought about the Guardians and Flame, he could feel his cock twitching and drooling. His mind was going against his wishes in his horny state and was starting to force sexual images from his brain but the only things that it was conjuring up was what Flame and those Guardians could possibly be doing. Again and again he pushed away these thoughts but they kept surfacing; new images, new positions, new scenarios, always exclusively males and always Flame and his teachers. The scariest part was that his arousal wasn't dropping at all. If anything it only got worse as he thought about Cyril's verbal assault on Flame the other day. The threat and power in that voice had been incredible and now that he noticed how lewd it truly was, he realised just how sexual his best friend must be with the older dragons.

Spyro whined softly to himself and shut his eyes again before rolling onto his back. He had always fantasised about females in the past although there had been once or twice where he had wondered about males. The purple dragon had simply assumed those were because of hormones going crazy in his body and he had always felt a little guilty afterwards but his thoughts about males had never gone beyond a rare, hormone-fuelled, minor interest. He had never longed for it after orgasm, nor had he been particularly excited by those thoughts. Now though, it felt like there was a little more.

You see, Spyro had a darker side that he kept hidden. There was one fetish in particular that he had been interested in particularly with females and that fetish was 'domination'. He had had a few fantasies about random females (and admittedly Cynder and Ember too) dominating him. He couldn't help it. He liked strong females! But this seemed to be mixing him up; hearing Cyril's incredibly dominant, teasing speech stirred something in his aroused loins that made his stomach tighten even more. He was honestly getting more and more aroused imagining himself in Flame's place. He tried to think of Cyril as a female instead but the voice wouldn't change in his head. It was still Cyril's firm, rumbling male voice that kept him pinned to the floor.

His paw wrapped around his shaft and he began to stroke himself, deciding that he just needed to clear his head in order to relax and sort out what was going on. He was only thinking this way because he hadn't pawed off in a few days. Every few seconds that scene would refresh in his head, playing out over and over like a video on loop with Cyril stood over him... pinning him down... calling him a 'bitch'.. and every few seconds he tried hopelessly to replace Cyril with a female in his mind, only to have it switch back almost instantaneously. His mind refused to let him fantasise about females this time.

As he worked his cock faster and gripped tighter, he fought the idea of wanting to submit to Cyril, wanting to be in Flame's place. It was Flame that had been that had been under Cyril and fooling around with the Guardians and it was Flame who had a big interest in males. Not him! Flame...

Flame, that smug, cocky, handsome dragon was the gay one, or at least very much bisexual one. It was him who wanted to fool around with other males and even their teachers, not Spyro. The red-scaled hornball that was his best friend. That confident grin of his, that swagger that he walked with, the oozing ego that came with the way he talked and moved. He wasn't like the purple dragon at all. In fact, he was more like a small, red Cyril than he was like Spyro.

It was at that moment that Spyro's mind finally gave in to his attempts to change the vision in his head of that night except it didn't change the way that Spyro had hoped. Suddenly the large Ice Guardian who straddled his body was no longer blue and purple, nor was he twice the size of Spyro. Instead, above him stood his best friend; that red muzzle only inches from his own, grinning sadistically as his hot breath washed over Spyro's cheek.

'And where is your place, slut?' Flame's voice echoed through his head, mimicking the words of Cyril just two nights ago. It tipped Spyro over the edge. His mind went black for a few seconds as he felt euphoria wash over him and warm wet splatters land on his yellow underbelly but once it was all over all he felt his heart sink and his stomach tie itself in a painful knot..

Had he really just cum to the thought of Flame dominating him...?

Spyro sat outside silently. He was a bag of nerves by this point as he waited for the inevitable arrival of his best friend. The purple dragon had washed himself in a hurry this morning and quickly retreated to his room with the hopes of not having to talk to anyone. Despite his stomach's rumbling, he hadn't been tempted to go to breakfast earlier. He knew that his knotted stomach wouldn't have taken food and besides, there would have been people in the food hall and he was in no mood for conversation. If it were not for the fact that he had classes to attend then he wouldn't have left his room at all that day.

The entire morning had been spent laying on his bed trying to convince himself that he was simply confused by the things that had gone on over the past few days. There was no way that he wanted Flame in a sexual manner. Sure, Flame was attractive; Spyro couldn't deny that. He was fairly muscular, he had well-kept bright scales, he was always the comedian of the group, but the purple dragon was sure he didn't see him as a potential mate... or at least he used to be sure.

Spyro's heart skipped a beat as he saw that grinning drake stride through the doors and out onto the grass, his attention locked on the black dragoness that walked alongside him. The pair of them looked lost in conversation as they came to a stop not far from the door, chuckling and talking about something Spyro couldn't hear. Cynder gave Spyro a small smile and nod once she noticed him before she broke off from Flame and made her way back through the door, having spied Ember arriving from inside the Temple. That red drake though locked onto those shaking, purple scales and confidently padded over, grinning from horn to horn all the way as he usually did.

"Hey Spyro!" He called from a few feet away, quickly making up the ground and sitting on his haunches alongside the purple dragon. If he noticed Spyro's attempts to look away, he didn't mention it and Spyro certainly didn't notice the slight wince Flame gave as he sat down on his rump. "How's it going?"

"Yeah... I'm okay thanks, Flame. Just... you know... tired is all." He could already feel Flame's eyes running over him with concern. Part of him worried that Flame would figure out what he knew.

"Now that you mention it, you do look pretty tired. Something keeping you up?"

"Something like that." Spyro murmured, not quite in the mindset to outright lie to his friend nor awake enough for his mind to come up with anything more convincing. He could practically feel his friend's curiosity and worry but luckily he was distracted as Ember and Cynder re-exited the building with Terrador behind them, ushering the two chatting dragonesses onto the grounds.

"You're not worried about that little flight test we have today, are you? I mean, you don't seem like the kind of person who would worry about something like that." Flame responded in a hushed voice. Spyro couldn't tell if that was out of fear of being caught talking in class or because he thought he had stumbled across the purple dragon's hidden fear but it didn't matter. What really mattered was that Spyro had forgotten all about their flight test today. True, it wasn't anything particularly important but he hadn't been paying attention all through class yesterday and now he had forgotten to even look over the maneuvers! He cursed inwardly.

"As you know class, today we are going to be running through the aerial combat maneuvers that we discussed yesterday." Terrador boomed, immediately silencing the group of clustered dragons in front of him. Spyro groaned quietly. This would not end well.

*****

Spyro kept his head low as he dragged his feet slowly towards Terrador's room once more. He had struggled pitifully through the practical class and it had been clear that he hadn't studied at all. It didn't help that the others were all clearly much more well rehearsed than him and had no troubles of their own during the session. Once again Terrador had summoned him to his chamber after dinner and once again Spyro had managed to avoid any real conversation since classes, mostly by feigning that he had places to be and by convincing Ignitus to allow him to eat in his room so he could catch up on his studies. Still, he dreaded stepping into Terrador's room once more. The Earth Guardian was always fair but if there was something the purple drake didn't need today, it was a lecture on studying properly for a test.

As he arrived, he found Terrador's door already open. Gingerly, he called out to him and poked his head through the gap that was already there. Inside he saw Volteer, who remained completely oblivious to Spyro's arrival, chatting away to his fellow Guardian.

"...and so I told them that they would have to take it back and that I had expected a lot better when purchasing from an establishment such as theirs but they told me that there was no way that they would ever sell something in that condition and therefore it must have been my fault for the damage which was the most preposterous, ineffably ridiculous thing I had heard in all my life and seeing as they had no intention of upholding any moral standards by refunding my purchase, or at the very least exchanging it, I told them that they had lost themselves a customer and that they should refrain from making such nefarious, fraudulent, derogatory comments about my nature! I mean, calling me some sort of bubbling, flapping, careless buffoon who can't even look after his own purchases. It's an outrage, a disgrace, an... an .. an invective attack on my character!"

Spyro could see Terrador nodding along with the story though as usual his face betrayed no hint as to what he was thinking or feeling. Part of him wondered if perhaps that was why Volteer so loved to talk to Terrador; he never interrupted being so quiet himself and he never showed signs of tiredness or exasperation as Cyril did and even Ignitus did from time to time. Unlike Volteer though, Terrador did notice Spyro's head poking through his doorway and seized his opportunity to speak. Volteer only seemed to take a breath every few minutes and so he needed to jump in now if he was to escape.

"Hmm, nefarious indeed." He offered, though Spyro was unsure whether he was just saying that to sate Volteer's opinion. "I'm afraid I have an appointment to speak to young Spyro, Volteer, but I shall come and find you when we are done so you can finish your story."

The yellow dragon turned his head and finally spotted the smaller visitor, beaming a typical, happy Volteer smile at him. Whether it was because of the promise of further conversation or because Terrador had agreed with him about the outrageous encounter, the Electric Guardian seemed perfectly happy as he nodded his agreement to the terms.

"Of course. I look forward to it, Terrador. I shall probably be in the Guardian's hall." He replied before beginning to turn and exit the room, only stopping for a brief moment to greet Spyro as he walked past. Despite the frustration he had expressed in his story, he didn't seem the slightest bit annoyed as he walked off and he definitely didn't seem to notice how nervous and quiet the younger dragon was.

"Come in Spyro." Terrador commanded, though no more emotion than he usually showed.

"I-I'm sorry about today Terrador.. I completely forgot to study last night." Spyro mumbled as he entered the room, shutting the door behind him. His words got a small, unexpected smile from the Earth Guardian.

"I'm not worried about that Spyro. Admittedly I expected you to remember a little more from the lesson yesterday; the maneuvers were quite basic after all, but I understand that you have not been in the right mindset recently and haven't been sleeping well. However what we can't have is this being repeated too often. Did you get any sleep last night?"

Spyro managed a small nod. "I slept but it wasn't that well." Terrador hmmed and kept quiet for a few seconds, clearly choosing his next words carefully.

"Does it still bother you? Flame and us?" Terrador held no shame but he did his best to keep his voice as soft as he could so that he didn't unsettle Spyro. He definitely had no intention of punishing him or upsetting him. He merely wanted to see if there was something he could do to help Spyro overcome whatever it was that seemed to be troubling him.

Spyro gulped and averted his gaze a little as that comment sent a flashback of his earlier fantasy about Flame stood over him into his mind. His cheeks even darkened a little bit in embarrassment. Although he was still getting over the whole 'sex with his teachers' thing, it wasn't -Flame's- interest in males that had him so shaken up today. It was his own possible attraction. Something he'd never dealt with before.

"No, Terrador. I-It's not that..."

Terrador's head tilted ever so slightly but he didn't say anything. Part of him wanted to press the young drake but he refrained. If Spyro wished to tell him something then he would have to do it of his own choice, not be forced into talking about something he didn't want to admit. He would explain if it was something he wanted to discuss.

"I-It's nothing... I'll be fine. Just need some more sleep." He gave a small nod though kept his eyes from meeting Terrador's.

The older dragon didn't quite believe his young student but he knew when to give space to those who needed it and whatever was troubling Spyro clearly wasn't something that should be dragged out of him against his will and so he conceded his position.

"Very well Spyro. Go and get some rest then. Just remember that you can come and speak to me if you ever wish to." Quietly, he considered what it might be that was bothering Spyro. Was he still upset by what he had learned yesterday? He suspected not. There was something else, something they hadn't discussed yet. He had a clue as to what it might be but he would have to wait for Spyro to reveal it to him. Just like Flame had done all those weeks ago.

The purple dragon gave another small nod and added his thanks before starting to head back to his room. He had a lot of things to think on now; would he ever consider being with a male? Was he attracted to his friend? Was this whole situation just caused by his tired mind and crazy few days? Whatever the answer was, he was in no mood to figure it out now. Perhaps tomorrow things would seem a lot clearer.
