I don't own digimon, this is just fanfiction.

This story contains sexual contact between males, so don't read it if you don't like that or if you are underaged.

Light My Heart

Part 3)

Patamon woke up next to the hot spring, where he and Salamon had spent the last night. He looked at her cute sleeping face and was exceedingly thankful for every second, he was allowed just to sit aside his love. He softly kissed her forehead and decided to let her sleep. But there was someone else on his mind. After all, Veemon wasn't his rival, but he was his friend. And this friend was hurt â€" by him! He was hurt too deeply to think that it just takes time to cure his broken heart. He sure would need to sit somewhere remote and cry himself out, but after that, he would need someone to talk or to hug or just to know that he isn't alone.

Veemon should have his time, but his guilty conscience told the winged digimon to do something, no â€" everything - he could do, to help his blue-scaled friend.

Thinking he waited for Salamon to awake to disscuss with her, what they should do about Veemon first. As she finally opened her beautiful eyes slowly, both of them smiled to each other and before saying anything they shared a good-morning kiss.

"There is something on your mind, Pata, I can see it in your eyes", the puppy like digimon said after finishing the kiss. She sure was a little worried.

"What is it, that makes you so pensive", Salamon asked, touching her lovers cheek gently.

"It is about Veemon", Patamon responded, sighing, "He's our friend and I can't bear the    Â

thought of him sitting somewhere, crying in agony of heart and soul, which is my fault!"

"It isn't your fault â€" at least not entirely", Salamon assured, "Of course, we should have told him before or should have make it easier for him, but we can't change, what happened. It sounds harsh, but he has to cope with it."

"You're right, we can't undo it, but we can show him that he doesn't have to go it through on his own. I say, let's go to see him and show him sympathy. And if he doesn't want to talk, we will just comfort him as good as we can."

So he suggested and stood up in order to head for...well...where could Veemon be?

"That's a problem" Gatomon, by now digivolved again, mentioned,"He could be everywhere in the two worlds. We haven't seen him since the picnic. We should meet up with the others, maybe he is just at home, but in case he isn't we could organize to look for him"

No two hours later the loving couple stood in front of Davis, who was indeed angry, but even more he was worried. The other destined were already informed and on way to meet up there.

Patamon and Gatomon felt really bad, seeing Davis like this, both of them squirming, none of them able to say anything.

Davis faught back a tear and sighed sadly.

"I can't really blame you for this, but...", he sat back on his sofa, burying his face in his hands. "I mean, it isn't like he never was away before, but a whole week? I don't want to think about what could have happened to him."

"Therefor we are here", the feline Digimon said, jumping on the sofa and putting her paw on the human's shoulder.

"You worry about a friend and so we do", Patamon continued, "We'll find him", he assured determind making Davis looking up and smiling slightly.

Soon the other destined and their partners arrived at Davis apartmant.

"Does anyone have seen Veemon or have a hint where he could be?", Joe asked, as they all had gathered. Noone did.

"Then in which world was he seen last? Knowing that would make the search a little easier", Koushiro expressed his logical thought.

"Around a week ago he asked me to bring him into the Digiworld, for walking and thinking, he said", Davis sadly remembered, "If I only had been following him, just to make sure he's fine...", he covered his face again, obviously blaming himself.

"Gee...I've never seen Davis crushed like this", Agumon whispered to Gomamon, "Nothing left of his energy and his high spirits"

"How would you feel, if you best friend is missing without any clue of where he went?", the seal Digimon gave back.

"Probably the same", the reptile admitted after looking up to Tai and back to Gomamon.

"Anyone seen him after that?", Joe went on asking, his question rather directed to the Digimon, who lately were in their world.

"Last time he was seen, was at the picnic day", Tentomon summed up for all of them.

"Well, at least we limited the area of searching to the digital world", Koushiro spoke up after thinking a while, "It is big, so we should go in groups of two. And we have to start immediately, because every hour we wait, and I really hope it isn't, could be an hour too long"

"Ahh, that's bad timing. We give a big concert this evening. Forgive me, Davis"

"It's ok, Matt", he sighed.

Gabumon smiled thankfully up to his partner.

"But what if someone finds Veemon, and the rest of us is miles away, unknowing looking for nothing? Or if there's a problem?", Sora brought in.

"Glad you asked", the beholder of the Crest of Knowledge smiled, a little superior, "We will use these"Â He opened the big bag, he had taken with him, pulling out a technical device: A small black box and wires around it. "Simple radio transmitting sets. Usually useless in the digital world. But through an experiment I accidentially found out, how to change that. Now they are junk in our world, but in the Digiworld they're working perfectly." He was a kinda proud of it. "Each group gets one and in case of emergancy or better of finding the lost friend just switch it to >send< and speak. Everyone who switched on >receive< will hear it. And for some reason their storage batteries won't run empty"

The groups were set and the speaking devices were handed out. Gabumon's, who decided to go alone, was fitted to him with glue strips. Davis was too worried that he decided to stay in order to try to sleep a little or something. He didn't regard himself as helpful in his present condition.

The destined passed the gate to the digital world and after roughly planning which group goes to which area, they departed, those who could on their armor-levels.

Gabumon smiled as he figured out he was out of sight and walked into a certain direction. He didn't have to search Veemon, imaginating the dragons feelings, there was only one place, he could be in.

It was a cave, from outside it looked like any other cave in the Digiworld. But this was indeed somehow special.

Gabumon stood in front of the entrance, sighing and thinking about what has happened in there. It was some time ago, they were in it, but he really wondered, if he was the only one, who remembered â€" well, except Matt. The lizard Digimon encouraged himself: Matt and Sora were trapped in there and both of them were freed by friendship...but nevertheless it will be hard. Gabumon walked in.

The cave seemed to be just one endless tunnel. Its walls were rounded in shape and of a sadden dark grey. Going through it, Gabumon thought about how getting Veemon out of there. The best way would be just to be honest â€" towards his friend, and himself.

He has completely lost his sense of time, but finally figured out something unusual, according to the monotone sight of the cave. Veemon was sitting there his legs drawn to his chest, his arms enbracing the knees, his face buried into them. Around his entire body floating that black stuff, summoned by Veemons dark thoughts, making his light blue colour sadly grey.

Gabumon sat down, facing his dragon friend and listening to his susurration:

"...she doesn't love me...noone loves me...I'm worthless......everyone hates me..."

"Veemon...", the lizard whispered, but didn't get any reaction.

"Veemon. It is me, Gabumon. I know you hear me."

"...all of you hate me...", the dragon Digimon monotoneously gave as an answer.

"That's not true and you know that. All of your friends worry about you and look for you. Davis is crying his eyes out in fear about you." Gabumon almost sounded begging as he tried to somehow reach his friend.

"...why should those ‘friends' do so...I'm not worth to worry for...I lost all the love I had..."

The dragon Digimon was seemingly blaming himself for losing Gatomon.

"In that case", Gabumon said determind, but still soft, "I will give you some of my love"

He hugged his friend and kissed his forehead. He kissed light but he meant it like he said. Focusing his mind and his heart only on the two of them in this particular moment.

The lizard ended the kiss and waited for a reaction. He got one.

Veemon lifted his head and looked at Gabumon. His eyes were still faint, but it was a small victory for Gabumon in the fight against the darkness in Veemon's mind.

"...why did you do this?", the dragon wanted to know after a while of staring at the lizard's smiling face.

"Easy. Because I don't in fact think that you are worthless. And so do the others", Gabumon took a deep breath and reminded himself of being honest.

"And espacially for me: I...love you. Since a long time I do." While saying that, Gabumon blushed and looked aside, showing his actually shy nature.

Veemon blinked, very slowly.

"What?", this was indeed kind of a shock for him, but it got him back to himself a little more.

Gabuman smiled a little bashful.

"Well, you obviously didn't notice before...but hey â€" do you really expect that only the one you love can love you? I guess you're unaware of the effect your confident manner and your cute face have on everyone around you."

Slowly, that special glint reappeard in Veemon's eyes and he even blushed a little.

"But...Gatomon...I'm not...", he stammered.

"Come on", Gabumon interrupted, "You fooled the others until the end, but not me. I saw those hidden glances at Patamon. Even He didn't notice. But as a master of the hidden glance, it didn't pass me unnoticed."

Veemon was definitely cought and blushed deeper.

"But...why me...?", he stammered even harder now, "What about Agumon...and Gomamon...and Gatomon...that one time...?"

"What about them?", he shrugged, "I admit, I enjoyed the houres being with them. You may call me a slut, but I like having sex. And there's nothing wrong about it. Besides I spend time with Tai and with Matt." Veemon's eyes widened at the last comment, so Gabumon quickly spoke on.

"But sex is one thing and love is an almost completely different. It is not necessarily linked, but in case both comes together, it will be beyond bare fun. Where two souls feel like one, there's a place that only can be felt because words just can't decribe it."

"Gabumon...", the dragons voice became a little unsteady, "...You serious?"

He sniffed.

"As serious as I ever was", the lizard replied with a smile so warm that it melted the last dark chain at Veemon's heart and blew away that floating black stuff, letting the dragon's scales regain their beautiful light blue colour.

"Thank you for loving me", the dragon whispered as he burst out into tears of relief and thankful happyness and fell into Gabumon's open arms sobbing and crying, his face now buried in the lizard's soft fur.

Comforting his friend and yet new lover by lovingly holding him and caressing the back of his head, Gabumon noticed that cave disappeared, leaving both of them hugging in the middle of nowhere, far away from familiar places. But neither of the couple cared where they were â€" the only important thing was being there together.

"Gabumon...I...have no words..." The dragons eyes were still watery when the lizard stopped him talking by putting his finger on his lips.

"This isn't the time for speaking", Gabumon explained, "This is the time for loving"

And that was exactly what they did, kissing each other with closed eyes, regarding everything in this moment as right, stopping time, feeling each others body as his own, their hearts only beating for the purpose to love, their souls growing wings, flying incredibly high, embracing, becoming one in the most positive sensation existing and thanking fate and fortune for letting them be together.

"...This feels like the first time, I understand the meaning of love...", Veemon spoke up hesitant after that almost everlasting magic moment. His chin rested again on Gabumons furred shoulder.

"...So completely different, so much more intense than everything before......"

"Does it feel good?", the lizard wanted to know, looking into his lovers eyes.

"Yes, Gabu...you made me feel good...you brought love back into my world...and to show my thankfulness, I'd like to make you feel good, too."

He didn't wait for Gabumon to speak â€" their uni sono pumping hearts gave him the determination to do as he intended to.

Taking over the active part, now, Veemon started a kiss of so much of love and happiness in it, like their kiss before, but adding deep passion to it.

Before lying down, he removed the speaking device, which was still switched on >receive<, from the lizard's body, without breaking the kiss.

So passionate he was, so gently and slow Veemon kissed his lovers neck and so soft he caressed the furred back down to the strong hips, the base of the thick, muscular tail and to the chubby but firm belly. And what Gabumon got of sweet and loving treatment, he was gladly giving back, sighing in pleasure at every touch, awaiting what will come up to him.

Neither of them had anything different in mind, than sharing their love and simply enjoying to touch each others souls. But their bodies seemed to have further plans. Due to the passion of their pure closeness, in which they were rolling around kissing and caressing each other, neither of them was able to deny the slow but eager arousal, this situation brought them.

They rested, Gabumon on his back, Veemon lying above him, their faces close, their hearts closer. Sinking into each others eyes and slightly panting they let the moments pass. No word was spoken, but the agreement was settled, as Veemon's head moved slowly down, kissing every inch of his lover's body on his way down...

Pegasusmon flew high up in the sky over a wide grassland. His thoughts were heavy, what his partner Takeru on his back was totally aware of.

"What is it, Pegasusmon? And don't say nothing. I'm sure, the whole Digiworld can hear you sigh."

The Digimon landed.

"It's about Veemon. It seems so pointless looking for him, when he doesn't want to be found. But I also want to find him so badly...I feel so powerless..."

"Well", the human responded, "I only can tell you what you already know. We will search until we find him and it is not your fault. I can't make you feel not guilty, I can only say you don't need to feel guilty."

His speaking device made a clicking noise.

"Takeru? Miyako speaking. Halsemon saw you landing. Something wrong?"

  • "Pegasusmon's heavy thoughts pulled him down"

This could have sounded funny, if it wasn't meant literally.

"I don't know, what else I should tell him. I don't want to see him miserable..."

"Let me speak to him.", Miyako ordered and Takeru moved the speaking device to his partner's ear.

"We will find him", was all she said. The determination in her voice made it just superfluous to say more.

"We will find him", Tai agreed and so did all the others.

Pegasusmon remained silent.

He looked at his partner as if he was awaiting something.

"What do you expect? We can go back to Davis' and cry with him, if you want to."

The human was calm but quite stern while the digimon looked aside, still unable to say a thing.

"Look at me. Who are you?"

Pegasusmon eyed his partner. "...What do you mean?"

"Who are you?", T.K. repeated himself.

  • "...I'm Pegasusmon..."

"...My partner. And who am I?"

  • "...Takeru. But I don't know..."

"Takeru, beholder of the Crest of Hope. I don't have this for nothing, you know? There is a meaning in it. I didn't get it because of me, but because of US."

Pegasusmon still didn't say a word. He just looked down in shame and powerlessness.

"I can't believe this. You have face the devil himself in a helpless situation, but give up on searching a runnaway? If not to me or to him, you owe it yourself to not give up."

The digimon became a little angry and stared at his partner.

"I remember every fight we fought and it left marks inside me. But all that trouble wasn't my fault!"

"That's it?", Takeru rose an eyebrow. "You're not afraid of failing or loosing him? Just guilty consciens? Well, yes. It is your fault. It is all just your fault. Feeling better now?"

Pegasusmon's exprassion spoke for him: ‘not a bit' it said.

"This is such a strong feeling and totally new to me..."

  • "Get used to it. Sorry but that's how it is. We tried to help but if it wasn't enough, you're on Â

your own. But...", T.K. hugged his partner tightly, " ...You're never alone. Now let's find him."

He still was a mess, but at least Pegasusmon flew again...

Somewhere else the world was beautiful and good.

Somewhere else two minds were full of love, leaving no room for worry or pain.

Somewhere else Veemon and Gabumon felt each other's heartbeats, their thoughts set afly and their bodies rocking so smoothly in the rhythm of limitless pleasure. This moment was so perfect, it even made them cry some tears of happiness.

Not knowing how long Veemon had been inside his lover, neither of them cared how long it had been. Also unable to tell how often each of them had come or had come at all they were uninterested in being able to tell. Just a ball of scales and fur...

"Something's unfair...", Veemon said after what had felt like an eternity.

Gabumon rose his head for he was lying on his back and Veemon on his chubby front. And he was puzzled by the statement itself as by surprise of its random-like appearance.

"What would that be?", he asked, awaiting serious complaint.

The dragon moved his view up towards the sky and halfway back to his lover as he continued with a grin.

"... There should be more than just one Crest of Love. You definitely should have one."

Gabumon was flattered beyond words and shyly looked aside.

It was a fateful move to do: his eye catched the speaking device and his mind got a slight shock from all the memory about it.

He even whined a little as he forced himself to stand up.

"I was actually supposed to inform everyone that you are found..."

-" They don't need to know, when you found me, right?"

"Stoppid, Veemon, this is not as fun as you think. We all were worried sick." The lizard digimon picked up the device.

-"Well, I'm fine. Noone's getting harmed by pointless searching. We surely could spent a little more time...What's to be said against this."

"Guilt. For every second I ignore the thought of Davis sitting at home, crying your name. Guilt, which actually you should feel...But hey, it's not like we can't repeat this"

With a smile Gabumon switched the speaking device to >send<.

"To everyone. This is Gabumon speaking. I found Veemon. I repeat: I found Veemon. He's unharmed. We meet at the starting point like planned."

Cheers were to hear as Gabumon's device was in >receive< mode again and a long relieved sigh from Pegasusmon.

He picked Veemon up.

"I'll carry you and I will say you are tired to prevent possible questions."

-"But I really am tired. You've completely worn me out." The dragon replied and got hold at his lover's strong neck.

So playfully they were meant, so true were Veemon's words, because he eventually fell asleep in Gabumon's arms. The lizard digimon himself could have done so, too, but his duty was it to go on.

At a TV everyone gathered, driven by relief and exhaustion.

Back in front of Davis, right after he had handed over Veemon's sleeping form, Gabumon finally fell and was asleep before he even touched the ground. He saw the human's tearmarks only for a moment and actaully wanted to tell him the truth, but sleep was stronger and took him away.

The two of them sleeping were put to bed as the group slowly devided and almost instantly cuddled up to each other.

The sun indroduced the morning into the room by throwing her very first ray on Veemon's nose. This caused a tingle, a wrinkle in the dragon's face and a really cute sneeze. Gabumon watched all of this spectacle and commented it with a giggle.

Veemon took a glimpse at his lover.

"Did you enjoy watching me?"

  • "Totally"

They just wanted to share a good-morning kiss, but were disturbed by Davis intrusion.

The human stared at the sheets.

"How can two rookie level Digimon get that dirty."

He wasn't angry, rather astonished and wondered at the same time how to clean this.

The Digimon themselves however, stared back as if they wanted to say: In the name of everything good, human, what are you doing here?

"Please take a shower...", he said as he left.

As the couple stood facing the sleeping place they understood. Possibly the dirtiest bed the sun had ever put her light upon.

"What by my horn were we rolling around in?" Gabumon instantly owed his respect to Davis for restraining himself from freaking out over this sight.

The recommanded shower was indeed necessary and taken at once.

The water sprayed down hot and clear, at the feet of the Digimon however, it had turned grey.

With the help of a great invention of human technology called soap, it was no deal to clean scales and fur from dirt and dust and everything else. Quickly done washing, a plan appeared in Veemon's mind along with a suggesting grin on his face. Noticing it, Gabumon rose an eyebrow. He couldn't read his lover's mind, but right now such an expression led to only one possible guess.

"Why not", he shrugged and leaned into the dragon for a kiss. Taking their time, the two Digimon made it being a long one. Eventually, things sped up again as arousal hit. And it hit hard. Within seconds two erections rubbed against each other between the males making their owners shiver and pant.

"..Hop on..", Gabumon barely whispered and Veemon didn't hesitate a moment and got firmly hold of his lover's neck. He pulled himself up a little and felt his thighs gripped and was lifted up with ease to the level of Gabumon's horn for being adjusted on the lower's length, but not let down, yet.

"Ready?"

The reptile digimon didn't have any struggle holding, so he empathetically waited for the answer.

Of course Veemon was ready. He actually was a little impatient until Gabumon finally let gravity do its job.

The dragon digimon laid his head back and closed his eyes while he enjoyed every single moment and every single inch he sank down. Like this he still hung after his lover had hilted his digihood into him until leaning forward, heavily panting, into Gabumon's shoulder again.

The yellow one himself fought to not let his legs collapse under this special shower's massiv pleasure. They hadn't even started to move, yet, but were already close to the edge. A slow gyration of Veemon's hips was actually enough to make Gabumon violently moan and spurt precum, as if he was made of it. Struggling but determind he managed to slowly heave the dragon up his length. The feeling of this made his whole body tremble and reaching the tip completely took his control away. Gabumon's paws lost grib and became numb. His legs did the same forcing him to sit down. Veemon on the other hand fell rapidly, eyes wide open, down onto his lover's lap. The lizard Digimon was done. He sat there in this shower, his every muscle twitching and with a sharp, hoarse moan he shot his ejaculation forcefully into the dragon. After that all he was able to do was bringing one paw up and giving Veemon's erection a single stroke from the tip to the base. Actually there was nothing further necessary than that. Along with each of the blue Digimon's cute kittle shrieks, a white string squirted from his member's tip, was sent flying and landed on the dragon's head. Just to be washed away by the steadyly pouring water.

The afterglow gave the two soul wings and let them fly and they flew silent, flew high and close together until they finally returned.

After drying, the two Digimon left the bathroom.

Davis had already awaited them over a cup of coffee.

"You really took your time to make sure to be thoroughly clean...", he put up two additional cups and started to fix some breakfast, "...I got a call by the way. Patamon and Gatomon announced themselves to come here...for talking..."

The human suddenly went around the table and hugged Veemon. He could have scolded his partner, could have asked a million of questions, but he didn't. He just stood there, holding the dragon. A glance he exchanged with Gabumon conveyed total thankfulness.

"Sorry...", Veemon finally whispered, "I don't know, what I was up to..."

  • "Don't care. You're back and I'm glad about it."

The breakfast went on, silent and relaxed, but soon it was interrupted by a gently tapping at the window. Davis opened and saw Patamon Frantically flapping his wings and holding Gatomon's paw to prevent her from falling down. He reached down and dragged them both up into the room. Gatomon had murmured something like ‘...out of training...' as she tried to shake off the embaressment.

"Did you know I have a front door? It's kind of made for entering a room..."

  • "We're still used to this way from the time when we were not allowed to show ourselves. Now, if you don't mind, please leave us alone", the feline Digimon asked.

"Yeah, go ahead, expel me from my own habitat", Davis sarkastically whined. He grabbed his goggles and his jacket and was about to leave.

"And think of your partner before you decide to run away" with these words he closed the door behind him.

The two visitors took seat and seemed to just notice Gabumon's presence. Confusion was written all over their faces.

Patamon regained his speech first:

"What are you doing here?"

  • "Having breakfast. Most important meal of..."

"No...I mean: Why are you here?"

  • "I was quite exhausted yesterday, so Davis was so kind to let me spend the night here and to give me food after it."

If Patamon had had shoulders, he would have shrugged. He addressed Veemon.

"We have decided that it is very serious and we'd like to talk about the whole thing..."

He really struggled for words but Gatomon summed it up:

"We are sorry"

An awkward silence should have been dropped in. At least until Veemon took his turn to speak. Patamon was just not satisfied, so it seemed.

"We never wanted this to happen and then you ran off and we were so worreid and all his is my fault..."

Everything came out at once and from visible pain.

"Wasn't it Gatomon, who took the actual active part by kissing you in front of Veemon?"

Gabumon said this totally out of the blue and caught the mammal and the feline by surprise so havily they both could just gawp. The dragon by his side had to hide a grin behind his cup.

"That is not the point!" Patamon had jumped onto the table during this untypical outburst.

"Then what is?" Veemon asked the only relevant question. " Yes, I ran away in an attack of complete selfishness over a broken heart, but I'm back and I'm alive. End of the story."

"We were worried sick!" Patamon was on the edge of fury.

"And I'm sorry for making you. I'm here, I'm fine and now please stop loading your guilt upon me."

Silenced, the mammal relaxed again and understood. Veemon was right. Subconsciously and to not drown in self hate, that was exactly what he had done.

"I am fine", the dragon repeated slow and soft.

Patamon nodded and even managed a little smile. Nothing else was spoken and two heart were relieved as they left.

Veemon turned back into the room only to find it empty.

"We were right."

Gabumon had disappeared and was now on the phone talking to his partner.

"The cave, the black stuff, the sadness...and I still have no idea, what that cave is."

  • "Great", The human on the other side of the line sounded a little sleepy. "So everything is back to normal again. How's Davis doing?"

"Beat up, but sane. We send him out to have a talk with Gatomon and Patamon. Hope he doesn't run away now..."

  • "You totally have to tell me the details later" Matt yawned heavily. Must have been a long night. "Until then..."

"Gabu? You hiding?"

"Got something for you", the lizard Digimon said, as he came into sight again. "Hold still"

He took out a pink crayon and focused on the dragons white chest.

Veemon giggled from the tingling and looked down as the work was done. His white front showed a small pink heart, now, with an inward turned curl.

"Like you said, there should be more than just one Crest of Love."

Nothing more of an explaination was necessary. Veemon snatched the crayon and placed the same symbol on his lover's front.

"Indeed", the dragon replied," And this one's for you"

So the couple stood at the open window, cuddling, watching morning fade into noon.

"You know, Gatomon did hardly say a word. I wonder what she was here for anyway?", Gabumon wondered.

"Well, you never know what she thinks, nor can you tell what she's up to" Veemon just shrugged.

"Girls!" They said in uni sono and laughed out into the day.

Davis had just gotten back. He stood in the door, seeing the two of the short Digimon laughing, he cut his hands into his hips and shook his head. Smiling.

His world was right again. Maybe screwed up, full of surprises or mind wrecking, but it was right again.
