An aspiring dancer attending a prestigious dance academy discovers that, in this school, not making the cut can lead to more than hurt feelings

A gift story for ECMajor featuring their character Cailey.

Writing this made me realize how out of practice I am when it comes to writing vore, haha. I need to shake some more of that rust off. ;)

Also. Leotards <3333

The room was a blur as she spun.

Faster and faster the muddied pools of colour passed by Cailey's eyes. She was sweating, her heart was pounding, and her head was swimming with the sense of disorientation that she needed; she craved it.

The lines began to reappear as she slowed. The hum of the bright fluorescent lights above her. The way they glowed off of the wall of mirrors, and sent a sheen across the well polished wooden studio floor. The dancer's foot came down, and her left arm lifted in a smooth efface. Her eyes moved immediately to the mirrors, and she admired her own look of ease after finishing the move.

Her chest rose and fell, and the white leotard she wore had grown dark with sweat. The slash of red fabric running along her chest still shimmered brightly, however, undampened by the long hours she'd been here. There was a simple smile on her face that hid the fatigue dogging at her finely tuned muscles.

Letting her arm drop, Cailey bent her knees, falling into a plié even as she brushed several errant strands of blue hair from her face. Despite pulling it back into pigtails, the girl still found it wandering across her forehead and clinging to her eyes as she tried to watch her technique in the bank of mirrors. Behind her, a bank of windows looked out over a snow-touched field of treetops. The moon bathed the scene with a radiant dread that the humming fluorescents held at bay.

"Shit..." the girl muttered, finally allowing herself to fall away from the string of poses she'd been rotating through.

Grabbing for a towel that lay haphazardly strewn across a wooden railing which ran the length of the mirrors, she swiped it across her face once before looking to the windows. When she'd started, it'd been mid-afternoon, and now evening had already run its course. The towel thrown over her shoulder, the girl moved towards a nearby water-fountain.

Her body moved as easily as it danced. Powerful, sleek muscles slid beneath her white pelt. Pink eyes trailed along the windows, wishing she could open one and smell the air, to feel it curling across her sweat-slickened body. A sigh drifted from her. What was she even doing here?

"We at the Academy stand by our dedication to a quality, well-rounded individuals. You have all spent years training to be here, or somewhere like it, and we expect you to come with a certain degree of skill."

It'd been hard enough fitting in back home. But here? She had risen to the challenge though. She had taken what they'd thrown at her, and she'd enjoyed the grueling pace of it.

"Our graduates have gone on to work in prestigious dance troupes. A diploma from this school is a guarantee of being the best!"

_ Cailey had stood, rigid like a signpost, as the headmaster belted out her spiel. The Academy had been created as a kind of dance University for aspiring legends. Cailey had made the cut. Around her the girl's classmates stood and watched the display on the stage with varying degrees of disinterest. In a sea of svelte cheetahs, delicate foxes, and lean lynxes, Cailey was the sole Kangaroo; that she was an albino only made her feel her difference all the more._

_ She was good though. Her awkward looking feet had given her an unexpected edge, and she'd learned to all but dance on her claw tips. She'd been too good for them to ignore. At least back home she had been. Here? She wasn't so sure._

_ The Headmistress was a bat, to put it simply. She had been a legend in her own time--as all headmistresses seemed to be--but Cailey had never heard of her before. She was middle-aged, dour looking, and vain. Despite her deteriorating body, she still wore a leotard everywhere she went as though she were some youthful sexpot. Sometimes she wore tights, other days she didn't. The snickers had quickly been silenced, however. She had shown her short temper off like a prized jewel after catching three girls smoking near the storage entrance._

_ One of the girls dropped out the next week after the headmistress had gotten through with them. Snuck off into the night suddenly, like a dog with its tail between her legs, had been the word going around. The other two hadn't dared cross the headmistress since._

_ Cailey didn't think the bat was that impressive though. She'd listened to the spiel, had begun her time at the school, and had done well enough to go largely un-noticed, either positively or not._

_ Then the disappearances had begun."_

Cailey pulled her head up from the fountain, her butt cocked to the side as she rested all of her weight on one leg while bent down to drink. The girl's thick tail hung behind her, covering the soft swelled curves of her ass in the clingy leotard. It dove into the cleft of her ass, showing just the outside edges of her buttcheeks while giving the impression of showing off so much more.

Stretching, the girl smiled. She'd been right; the prolonged work-out had softened the thoughts which had driven her here in the first place. A kind of tired euphoria spread through her as she ruffled the towel through her hair. Two smudges of tan dye--one beneath each eye--stood out against her white fur, and the girl rubbed at one absently as she moved towards the door.

The disappearances.

Rumors had begun, of course. A girl here. A girl there. At first it was just accepted that the girls who couldn't cut it were slinking out to save themselves the embarrassment of being asked to leave. Cailey had shared those very thoughts. The simple desire to be done, to slink away and not have to work anymore. She had spent her childhood working towards this opportunity, however, and she had persevered. She had grown to love the current sweeping her along, the lessons that pushed her, and the exams that ground her spirit down only to fill her with new resolve when she passed them. The disappearances hadn't struck her at first. It was always those at the bottom of the class anyway, but as the bottom of the class inched ever closer to those who'd been in the middle of the class, the rumors had grown darker, more sinister.

"I hear they found Becky's slippers in the hall the day after she dropped out. One of them had teeth marks in it!"

_ "Well -I- heard Susan say she saw Jody with the headmistress just before SHE disappeared. Then Susan vanished two days later! Why would Jody drop out? She was doing fine!"_

The rumors had grown more vivid as time went by, and the class shrunk. Of a hundred girls, there were only seventy or so left in the program two months in. By four months it'd been fifty-five! Just this morning, two girls hadn't shown up for class. Panic had given way to a kind of tension amidst all the girls who remained. None of them would leave; graduating from The Academy was a guarantee of life-long dancing success. None of them would throw that away based on a bunch of losers calling it quits, and some ridiculous rumours!

So they each thought. Until they saw their grades falling into the lower percentiles in the class, and those rumors came nipping at their heels. There were no atheists in a foxhole, as the saying went.

The mood of the classes changed around then. Rumors or not, those at the top took no small joy in tormenting those at the bottom. Grades became more than a ranking system; they became more of a food chain, as those anywhere along it tormented those below them with threats of midnight perils. Catcalls would follow nerve-driven mistakes in class by the weaker dancers, and at least one lynx had been lauded for telling a petite mouse that she wouldn't expect the rodent in class the next day; she'd been correct.

Cailey herself had witnessed something, though she'd kept it to herself.

It had been a week earlier as she'd returned to her dorm room from the studio. The red carpeting of the hallway had taken on the shade of a bloody river, and a crescent moon hung ominously in the winter night sky. Wall sconces cast light, but they had been dimmed in the parts of the school that weren't high traffic at this hour.

_ She heard the moan long before she saw the moaner._

_ Passing a turn in the hallway, the lean kangaroo gasped out softly before hurrying past the opening. The headmistress was perhaps twenty feet down the hall. She was looming over a nervous looking lynx; Cailey remembered the girl. Jade, or Jewel... something like that. The feline's red hair was aflame in the light of a sconce hanging directly over her. The cat wore a pink leotard, clearly on her way back from some solo practice session. Her thin calves were covered in a pair of rumpled legwarmers that gave way to the toes of a pair of Chucks._

_ Cailey was struck by the curves of the lynx's body in the tight outfit. It clutched at her ribs and breasts, accentuated by the light lean of her body as she pressed her shoulders against the wall behind her. The kangaroo had stopped, peeking around the corner to watch the two converse--seemingly heatedly--with a flush creeping into her cheeks._

_ Without knowing entirely why, she allowed her fingers to dip into the subtle cleft of her thighs as they pressed together warmly. Only one eye dared to peer around the corner, but the lean structure of the lynx had Cailey leering. Minutes passed, and the bat was clearly done talking. The lynx was desperate to keep going, however. The look of panic on her features only fueled the firm rub of Cailey's fingers against her Nylon-covered pussy. There was no mistaking the fear in the girl's eyes._

_ The bat was dismissive, but she kept the girl all but pinned to the wall. A single arm pressed against the grey wallpaper directly to the left of the feline's head, and the bat's broad snout moved in as though to kiss her. The lynx's face struck Cailey just then; there was panic lurking in every little shift of the cat's slim body. Though she was too far to tell for certain, the kangaroo allowed herself the momentary pleasure of convincing herself she saw the lynx's nipples poke firmly out against her leotard._

_ Then the bite came._

_ It was more than a lover's peck, though the feline cried out with an unbidden--and likely imagined--lust. The bat's face buried itself into the far side of the cat's neck as the lynx herself writhed. Her hips pushed forward gently, as if thrusting onto a warm dick that had just penetrated her. Her breath quicked, and Cailey's fingers began to move in earnest. They danced between her thighs, stroking the engorged lips of her pussy. The nylon crotch of the kangaroo's leotard was shifted to the side to allow her fingers better access to her own desires._

Every twitch of the lynx's body carried with it a sense of sensuality. Her chest heaved for breath and her eyes half-lidded as warm breaths of dire acceptance trickled from between her lips. The sweat that had dried into her fur from her workout popped up in beads and rivulets. Her hands moved to grasp at the bat, to push her away, but it was futile.

The bat fed, and Cailey just watched.

Several minutes passed in terse silence. Slowly, the bat's feeding took its toll on the lithe dancer and the lynx began to fade. Her head drooped, and the shoulders that had pressed against the wall began to slide downwards. Soon, her ass hit the floor and the bat finally disengaged, wiping what--from this distance--looked like blood from her grinning lips. The lynx's hair obscured her face as it hung down like drapes, her upper-body leaning forward while her legs splayed on the floor.

The bat said something, then pushed the girl over. Cailey's ears strained, but she heard nothing. As the lynx's body slumped limply to lay on the floor, the kangaroo saw one of the feline's arms raise, as if trying to ward off some further attack. There was no attack, however, just the bat's short laugh floating through the air of the empty hallway. Grabbing the lynx's legs, the headmistress began to drag her prize away.

Though she hadn't climaxed, the kangaroo stopped her own self-exploration just then. Her breath still came in heated, ragged gasps, and her loins twitched and screamed out demands for further attention, but the sight of the headmistress dragging away one of her classmates seemed to return the albino to reality.

Adjusting her leotard, the girl turned and ran, each step reminding her of the burning fire of unbidden desire in her belly. It wasn't until she was safe in her room, and the door was closed behind her, that she finally began to sob; what had she just seen!? More importantly, why did it excite her so?

Cailey shuddered involuntarily as the scenario passed through her head. She couldn't deny the feeling of damp desire growing in the crotch of her white leotard, however, even as her thighs grew tacky with the sweat drying in her short fur. Trying to ignore the flush that lit her pale cheeks, the girl's pink eyes swept the studio once more before turning to leave.

Cailey stood quietly in the hallway, the daylight streaming through the high windows making the scene of the night before seem almost impossible. But there was proof; a single black canvas sneaker lay on its side. It rested against the baseboards, as though casually discarded by some passing student and promptly forgotten; Cailey knew better.

Picking it up, she looked it over and tensed at the small fleck of red staining the white rubber toes of the footwear. It could be paint, a little makeup, perhaps; Cailey still knew better.

Now, several days later as she exited the studio and once more made her way through the darkened halls of the Academy's main building, the memory of that little fleck of red was perhaps the loudest in her head; it crashed through their skull like a herd of elephants fleeing some unknown peril.

Still wearing her sweat-dampened leotard, along with a pair of soft dance slippers and light orange legwarmers, the girl was a ghost floating down the hallway. Outside storm clouds had begun to roll in, covering the moon as the treetops rustled with an unheard gust of wind. The hallway was silent, and the events of the week before still played over and over again in her head as she walked. Her slippers were barely a whisper on the red carpeting, and if it weren't for the occasional clatter of branches tickling along a windowpane there'd have been no sound at all.

Then there was a sound.

It was faint at first, the scuffle of feet on carpeting. Cailey glanced over her shoulder as her breath caught in her throat.

The hallway was empty.

Another rousing bout of tree-branches scraping against the glass of a nearby window nearly sent the girl into a panic. Her heart was racing, her breath returning in a shuddering gasp that left her unable to do much save stand there and tremble. It took several minutes for the feeling to pass, and even once the kangaroo had begun to move again her steps remained unsteady.

The proverbial hammer didn't drop until the girl was long past the lynx's final conversation with the headmistress. There was no warning, just a shadow across the wall before a hand clutched Cailey's shoulder from behind. The girl's body went rigid, her eyes widening as though she'd been caught doing somewhere she shouldn't have been, rather than just heading back to her dorm-bed after a late night practice session.

"Cailey, yes?" The voice was silky smooth and distressingly familiar.

"Y-Yes, ma'am." The stammer brought a flush to the girl's cheeks even as her heart made its way up her throat, pounding so heavily that she was certain it would escape any moment.

"Excellent! Such a treat to catch you up so late, my dear. I was going to speak to you in the morning, but..." the unseen bat's voice trailed off as the soft tickle of her breath grew more forceful against the back of Cailey's neck, "well, you know what they say about early birds and worms."

The albino was acutely aware of how close the bat's nose had come to her neck, and the lynx's final moments thundered in her skull like a siren. Moving to step away from the bat, the kangaroo found herself restrained as a single arm slid around her waist.

"I... I was just practicin', ma'am. I have exams at the end of the month and I wanted to make sure I had the routine well polished. We... we all know how much you expect from us, and I would hate to disappoint." The girl's strained explanation and barely concealed submission to the bat stank of fear, and the smell only seemed to entice the headmistress. The arm around the albino's waist tightened, rippling the fabric of her leotard as she found her tault belly compressed by the surprising strength of the woman's grip.

"Yes, I'm sure. I can smell it." The bat's voice was barely a murmur, and the sensation of her broad nose tickling along Cailey's neck and shoulders drew a shudder from the girl. She could smell the sweet tang of her own sweat, both fresh and stale, more keenly now; how did she smell to the bat? "Were you hoping for another show, perhaps?"

"I don't understand, ma'am" Cailey began, only to be cut off by the arm which had wrapped around her, dropping suddenly. The bat's hand slid between the girl's thighs, trailing a single finger over the kangaroo's nylon-covered pussylips.

"Oh, I think you do, girl. Now, since you just brought up our rigid adherence to excellence, I'm afraid it's my sad duty to inform you that your enrollment within the academy has already been terminated." The bat's voice carried with it a pointed insincerity; there was no pity in it, and certainly no mercy. "We have certain standards to uphold after all, and I'm afraid you just don't quite make the cut, dear."

Cailey's fear became keener, sharpened exceptionally by the crushing news of her enrollments termination; why did the finality of that word excite her?. Despite the peril of her situation, the girl let out a half-choked sob, "Please ma'am, I can practice harder..."

"No, you can't."

Sharp teeth sank into Cailey's neck and the kangaroo's mouth opened in a soundless cry. Her tongue worked against her teeth, and her throat bobbed with the effort of screaming, but her own shock as the bat began to feed kept her silent; the girl was all but locked in her own body, able only to marvel at the painlessness of the bat's bite, and the budding fire flickering to life in the pit of her belly.

Cailey's thoughts swirled in a hurricane of disbelief, and as she found the ability to move once more, all she could do was batter uselessly against the woman behind her. The tips of the girl's fingers had begun to grow cold even as the odd sensation of being drained of blood began to cloud her mind. Still the fire burned in her guts, and the finger stroking her pussy grew more forceful. The tight fabric of the outfit was forced up into her, the inner-walls of her vagina massaged by the long fingers of the hungry bat.

How long had it been since someone else had touched her there?

Her neck had grown warm, and her fear was growing increasingly distant. One of the girl's arms looped up behind her, fingers sinking in the surprisingly soft pelt of the predator's neck. She held on for support, rather than any particular need to dislodge her attacker now; it felt too nice to stop. A sloppy moan trickled from the kangaroo as her already pale fur grew increasingly paler with the sudden blood loss. There was a sensuality in her own helplessness, and even as her fading mind demanded she fight, the girl found herself submitting. The bat's fingers curled inside the kangaroo, and Cailey felt them grind against the hard nub of her clit.

Cailey's legs trembled with weakness. With the loss of hope came the thrill of imminent danger, and it hit her like a truck. Addled by the soft caress of a finger trailing across her belly, playing with the nylon-covered opening to her pouch, the girl felt the first crash of an unexpected climax resonate through her hips and belly. Heated gasps escaped the girl, her body pressing back into the accommodating warmth of the bat feeding on her even as her pussy spasmed and leaked its fragrant juices into the fabric of her leotard..

The bat didn't slow. She smiled grimly, her lips pulling up at the corners but her teeth still buried in the weakening kangaroo's neck; she had her now. The enticing scent of lust and sweat filled her broad nose, egging her on to drag new wanton desires from the doomed dancer she had captured. She supported the girl's body until it was clear Cailey could no longer stand on her own, and then she simply let her drop. The kangaroo fell to her knees, thighs spread and a thin trickle of her own juices seeping from one of the legholes of her leotard. Her body shook at the impact, but there was no reaction on her face; she was a piece of clay to mold, or destroy, as the bat saw fit.

Pulling her lips from the bloodied neck of her prey, the bat licked away the flecks of blood that had escaped her voracious appetite. Cailey's head drooped forward, blue hair falling into her face as her pink half-lidded eyes stared down at the floor. She was still aware of what was happening, but she was powerless to stop any of it, to escape the dark eroticism of her fate.

Cailey found her voice again only when the bat's head came down and blackness fell across the kangaroo's vision. How the headmistress managed it wasn't as important to the albino as it happening. Saliva slithered down her muzzle as the tight lips that had been pressed against her neck now surrounded the top of her head!

She screamed.

The darkness spread as the kneeling kangaroo felt more of her head disappear between those ravenous lips, the steamy musk of spit and meat filling her nose as she was slowly engulfed by the headmistress' hunger. Her final, primal, scream ebbed until it was a throaty whine. The bat's tongue slithered against Cailey's neck, tasting the delicate sweetness of her fur even as her hands travelled across the kangaroo's trembling body; the bat's expert fingers tweaked at the girl's hard nipples, stroked along her belly, and ground against her inner thighs with a casual interest in what they may find. Cailey was dimly aware of another orgasm building in her loins even as those hands explored her. Her ass clenched in the tight confines of her outfit, and the fabric rippled across its taut surface with the gentle quiver wracking her body.

The bat's head continued to move down, and it wasn't long before the kangaroo was treated to a facial massage by the undulating muscles of the predator's throat. Her tired scream had long since faded, and all the girl could do now was choke on the thick saliva invading her mouth as more of her lean body vanished.

The bat took her time at first, enjoying the feeling of the girl struggling in her distended gullet. The hard contours of the kangaroo's face would have been visible against the brown pelt of the predator's neck, if there had been anyone there to see it. The bat's eyes were closed, enjoying the thrill of live prey, and the savoury salty taste of the sweat on Cailey's body; she loved it when they'd just worked out, it added so much to the flavour!

With a grunt of effort, the bat's hands caught the girl around her thighs and hoisted her from the ground. Gravity had always been necessary to get her prey's shoulders into the unnaturally engorged girth of her throat, but with effort came reward. A second climax rippled through Cailey--who was far too dazed by the sheer unreality of what was happening--and the girl's feet gave several kicks in the air, as though trying to run.

The dancer's body was laid out like a table now, her hips held aloft by the bat's powerful hands as more of her slid into the wet mess of the predator's body. Cailey's tits scraped against the bat's teeth as they passed, then her belly, and finally those succulent hips.

Inside, Cailey's mind had begun to shut down. There was no air in the depths of the bat's body, and as her head broke free into the headmistress' belly, the stink of digestive juices sent the girl's vision swimming. What little air she had left escaped her in a series of short gagging coughs, the pressure on her sleek body as it was pushed down along the bat's throat had already been threatening to usher the girl into unconsciousness, but now this as well? It was too much.

Cailey's final thought before unconsciousness took her was the thudding realization that the rumours had been true, and that the next day, those same rumours would be circulating with her as their latest victim.

The thought brought a low blush to the girl's cheeks as oblivion claimed her, and all became weightless.

The bat leaned back against the wall, her centre of balance thrown off terribly by the extra weight she was taking on. Her belly jutted out as more of her prey's body slid into it, and her tongue travelled along the cum-slickened inner-thighs of the girl's delicious legs. She swore she felt a final orgasm clench her meal's muscles, but she was as lost in the experience as Cailey had been. The girl's legs spasmed once more as they were slurped into the predatory bat's mouth, her legwarmers pushed down by the headmistress' encroaching lips. They fell from her legs as her feet vanished between those same lips, the light orange fabric saliva streaked and puddled on the floor like the leavings of some neon-beast.

When the feet were gone, so was Cailey.

The bat leaned back, her eyes closed and the pressure of the wall behind her offered a solemn respite to the thunderous strain the meat in her belly was putting on her legs. Licking at her lips, the bat gulped once, twice, and a third time, forcing the ex-dancer's legs to finish their journey.

Soon, it was done. The bat's gut was huge, but she was satisfied. Her eyelids drifted downwards as she basked in the afterglow of--formerly--live prey. She still had several hours before the morning exercises would begin, and it was plenty of time to deal with the prying kangaroo's remains; served her right for peeking! The others would gossip of course, but she was fine with that; the rumours would serve as a reminder that failure would not be tolerated, and that the Academy's record of excellence would not be stained by anyone. The legwarmers were left to sit in the hallway, a vague allusion to the kangaroo's grim fate that would only strengthen the moral lessons those rumours carried.

What could they prove, anyway?

The bat allowed herself to sit, that belly resting between her thighs as her eyes drifted shut; even she didn't know how long they stayed closed for. She knew what would come next, and she waited for it in a doze interrupted by pockets of sleep. Time became meaningless. It started as a little hiccup, and grew to a cough that erupted into a series of soft gags. The meat in her belly churned, but as her throat relaxed and bile bubbled in her throat, it wasn't the meat that came up. The bat's fingers dipped into her mouth, casually plucking at something which tickled the opening of her throat. Catching it, she'd pull gently, teasing it like she had Cailey's nipples with little tugs and careful movements of her fingers.

Finally, Cailey's leotard slipped from the headmistress' mouth. Coated in saliva and the lingering traces of stomach acid, the smell of the orgasms her prey had released in its glistening confines had been all but eradicated.

She let it drop to the floor beside the legwarmers with a sanguine smile.

They would find the legwarmers. They would find the soiled leotard. They would shudder, and giggle, and threaten the weaker students, and she would cull them unhindered; it had been the way of things, and it would be the way of things. Always.

The headmistress lumbered towards her office with the moon riding low in the sky outside the windows, and the dawn creeping its way across the horizon. Her belly had already begun to deflate, powerful stomach acids ensuring her meal would be unnoticeable by the time the first student arrived in her office. Her lips were pulled up in a serpent's smile as she walked the shadowed halls; That serpentine smile was just one of the many traits she'd inherited from her father... just one.
