"You know, I don't clearly remember when I started feeling this way. There were probably many factors that all led up to this exciting day." Maybe it was when I discovered that I could be romantically attracted to non-human entities. That fateful night, when I was but ten years old, lying in bed. Yawning as I click the next YouTube video, I notice a Japanese video labeled simply, "Hatsune Miku: Best Hits."
Curious, I click on the video. The thousands of people all screaming, waving their glowsticks in the air, as the lights cued up, sent adrenaline through me. I note that this could also be where my love for the rave stemmed from. As the projectors turn on, I see a girl, with long berry blue hair, and a schoolgirl outfit with a miniskirt.
The voice I heard was heavenly, singing to me with a ferocity, a melodious rhythm that took my breath away. I break into a cold sweat and my heart starts racing as if I was kissing my crush in the hallway for the first time. It wasn't a real romantic attraction, probably, but I felt something. I'll never forget the feeling of lying there speechless and love-crazed as I didn't pay attention to the video that loaded up after Hatsune Miku made her exit from the stage and entrance into my heart.
