A Christmas Evening
Hey guys. been figuring out this upload system and I guess I can't copy from a word file. So heres the story that I will manually type in. enjoy.This is a short story I had to write to describe a picture. It had to be in present tense.
The crackling fireplace in the family room looks inviting, it intrigues anyone to want to stay and visit. The mantle place lies against the far wall, careful not to burn the couch to a crisp. ColorfulHoliday stockings hang below the lit-up mantle like leaves swaying under a tree branch. In the east corner of the fireplace stands an enormous, chartreuse Christmas tree that beams happily with amber colored ornaments that surely grab your attention. Up north of the tree, stands a shiny star, which tops the majestic tree Onward past the normal glance of human eyes, is silvery soft snow falling on the ground that can be heard inward through the two separate glass windows. The wonderful classic Christmas songs echo throughout the room, complementing the mood with a mellow tone. On the glossy wood coffee table sits a creamy glass of milk, an a small plate of cookies filling the room with the sweet smell of warm cookie dough. The cookies tasted that of warm, creamy chocolate fresh from the oven. The hickory smell of burning oak wood from the fireplace gives a reminder of the beautiful outdoors.
