#3 of Broken Soul

Effie had wanted to do this for some time, but it wasn't how she had imagined it. She wanted there to be an untold amount of passion and a spark that connected their very souls. Unfortunately, Leon was still too distraught to notice that she was kissing him. If she had any hope of getting him back to normal, he had to remember the good times with her when they were watching each other's backs. He may be able to remember some things, but he never did fully understand his level of heroism. There was only one thing she could think of.

"Come on, We need to get you something harder to drink. My sister drank all my good stuff, so that's out of the question. There's a bar a few blocks down the street. Get up, I need to burn that couch anyways. You may not know it, but she's a little kinky. Last time she stayed the night... well... the smell didn't leave my apartment for a month. Get up, Leon, I'm buying." He was zombie-like, but still active. Effie pulled him to the door, and then down the street.

He kept leaning towards the busy street, which was understandable. Effie didn't know exactly what he was feeling, but she could get the vibes he was letting off. Death would let him escape his problems, but she couldn't let that happen. Effie had her own plans for the situation. That was the one new thing she learned in the military: take advantage of a situation, because you never know when you'll get another edge.

She successfully got Leon to the bar and put him on a stool (literally). She sat down next to him, "Hey! Can we get some whiskey over here? We got us a Medal of Honor recipient who desperately needs a drink."

"Woah..." the bartender was thrown off, as was everyone else in the bar, "really?" Effie reached into the pocket Leon put the medal in and pulled it out, "Oh! Here, this is the best stuff we got. On the house. We support our troops here, especially the young ones who fight with their all." he placed a dusty bottle of finely aged whiskey along with a few glasses on the table. He filled them half way and left the bottle, "Hey, you must've just won that, so why are you so down?"

Leon looked up at the wolf. His eyes were dark and bloodshot, his skin was pale, and Effie surmised that it was also sweaty. He looked about as bad as any human could look, and his voice was low pitched and monotonous, "Why am I so down? How would you feel if you came home from a two year tour and learned that your girlfriend had been cheating on you the entire time, even going so far as saying that I was hiding from the military in our apartment. I'll look how I want, it's the only way I won't go crazy and kill her and her lover." Sympathies came from all over the bar, anthros and humans seemed to feel his pain equally.

Effie put an arm over his broad shoulders and tried to take away some of his hurt. She was never a spiritual person, but she was willing to try anything. Suddenly, the door opened and Effie heard a sobbing woman. She looked around, and a man was covering a woman with his coat. Apparently, it had started to rain. When she took off the coat, Effie immediately knew who it was. Mary met her eyes, then saw Leon. However, unlike before she kept her distance. Effie wasn't sure why.

Leon drank the entire glass of whiskey then filled it to the brim. He was hurting, and this was one of the few things he could do to calm himself down. he quickly finished off that glass then filled it back up. Effie didn't know much about humans, but she was pretty sure that he should slow down, "Hey, take it easy. That's not healthy for your liver," she leaned over to another patron who was a human and whispered, "right?" he nodded. "Yeah, trust me, you'll get through this. You do trust me, right? I've always looked out for you just like you looked out for me. I wouldn't lie to you, so just relax. Watch the game. Look, it's your favorite football team, and they're winning!"

Leon looked up at the TV with his dead eyes. No man should ever have to suffer this much over some cheating little whore, at least in Effie's mind that was true. She did notice that the alcohol was starting to affect him, since Leon was swaying in his seat. A chair moved from behind them and Mary put her arms around Leon's waist.

"Oh, Leon. You have to forgive me. I was only doing what's best for our relationship. If I could be satisfied and happy while you were away, I thought you would be happy. You wouldn't be worrying about me, and I would be feeling fine. It's a win win solution, right?" It just hit Effie. She wasn't avoiding him because of her, but because she wanted him to get drunk and let his conviction weaken. Mary was getting stern looks from everyone in the bar, but Effie's was one of pure hatred.

She stood up and pushed Mary away from Leon, "You bitch. That was your plan, get him drunk and convince him to take you back. You are evil, whore. You never deserved to have Leon."

Mary smiled at her, "I'm a special kind of woman. Leon brought in the paychecks and rocked my world when he was here. But when he was gone, I was only getting the money. It was only natural that I get pleasured as well. It's what you military people call a Plan B. No one got hurt, Leon just doesn't understand it yet. That's what i wanted to explain before you interrupted me."

The man she was having sex with walked up behind Mary, "Don't take it out on her. She just needed to get some action to keep sane. Besides, I've got nothing against Leon. I respect our troops and what they're doing overseas. Seriously, from what I've heard from Mary, you're an alright guy, and i really want to be friends. So just back off and let her get a word in, this doesn't concern you anyway anthro." Effie saw movement in the corner of her eye. Leon had opened and closed his index and middle finger three times, which meant that he either planned this out, was pissed off, or a little of both.

Effie tried to pull Leon out of his seat, but the man grabbed her arm, "I said get out of here! Don't even think of touching Mary!"

"Careful what you wish for," Leon said softly, getting the attention of everyone involved, "cause you may just get a little more than you wanted." he banged his hands on the bar then shot out of his seat. He grabbed the man's arm and twisted it, causing it to pop out of it's socket. Still holding the arm, he threw the man down to the ground, but took a knee to his back causing another snap.

"But," Mary was scared, "I thought you wanted whatever made me happy. Why would you hurt me like this?"

Leon smiled, just like he used to, "Karma's a bitch, ain't it?" Mary was angry and lost control. She tried to smack Leon, but this time Effie stopped her arm.

Mary tried to punch Effie with her free hand, but that was a big mistake. Effie deftly ducked the punch and replied with one of her own. The only difference was that Effie's hit it's mark and sent Mary sprawling across the floor. Under normal circumstances, someone would have called the police. Unfortunately, the patrons agreed that Mary deserved what she got.

Leon grabbed her arm and quickly dragged her out of the bar. This surprised Effie, who was still ready for a fight. Leon had a serene look on his face, and was visibly smiling. This was rare for someone in his position. "The rain is beautiful, isn't it? It's cleaning the streets, cleaning the air, and there's just something about it that just makes me want to relax and enjoy life."

"You sure that isn't the whiskey talking?"

Leon nodded. He took her back to her apartment and led her to the door. He was still smiling, but Effie was frustrated. She never did like the rain, and now she was drenched. Leon took her into her apartment and laughed at how wet she was. Effie found it nice that he was back to his usual self. He could be hit with a brick, and still be smiling.

Now Effie saw a golden opportunity that she wasn't going to miss, even if the building caught on fire. She calmed her breathing, grabbed Leon's head, then kissed him on the lips. Unlike before, he returned the kiss and put his hands around her waist. She tried to keep kissing him, but her body forced her to smile. She leaned away, "Wait here." she got up and ran into her room. Leon wasn't quite sure what was going on, since he was drunk, but he finally took off his army issued uniform jacket and set it down on the couch. He then took off his wrist brace from a mission that went haywire (more on that later) and put it on top of his jacket. He rubbed his wrist as Effie came out of her room.

She put one hand on the top of the door frame and leaned suggestively. She was wearing a semi-transparent black teddy that fit her perfectly. Her black panties and lack of a bra made her even more appealing. Her light-toned fur seemed to amplify the black and make it stand out more. Leon immediately felt over dressed for the situation. As Effie's tail flicked the air, she aid, "You must be tired. Come on, I won't bite. Hard." She smiled and Leon worked his way over to her. Her tail brushed lightly against his leg as he turned around in front of the bed.

She pushed him down on his back then lept onto him, "Hey, I thought your sister was the kinky one."

"It runs in the family." she said as she began kissing him passionately. He put his arms around her body and felt her soft fur. it was warm and comforting, exactly what he needed in his time of need. Somehow, his pants had magically moved their way down to the floor, because her hands were working on his shirt. She stopped kissing him and looked at his scars. She smiled and licked each one until she decided they were clean. Her rough tongue was oddly gentle on Leon's skin. Then, she got on her knees and lowered each of her shoulder straps as seductively as someone who was just in the military could.

Leon watched as she completely removed her teddy to reveal her soft and (oddly enough) large breasts, "Huh, I thought you were always kinda flat chested. You hide it well under all your gear." she grabbed his hands and put them to her chest.

"I'm a C-cup, and tonight they're all yours." she used his hands to massage her breasts. She smiled and rolled her eyes into the back of her head and Leon enjoyed the texture and warmth. She leaned back over him and grabbed his dick through his boxers. His eyes went wide as she brushed a finger across his face, "Don't worry, I'll be gentle." She somehow simultaneously removed both her panties and his boxers at the same time without a struggle and started to prod herself. Leon was stressed, because the alcohol was starting to get to him.

Suddenly, she shoved his dick inside of her as they both moaned together. Effie stood there on top of him motionless for a few seconds enjoying every bit of Leon. He was the first to act this time. He slowly lifted his pelvis sinking his dick deeper into her, then created a rhythm. She smiled and moaned as the bed began to shake. A banging came from the other side of her bedroom wall, "Hey! Cut it out or I'll come over there!"

Effie stretched her arm up and banged back, "Fuck off, geezer. No one is going to mess this up for me." there was no more noise from the neighbors.

Effie was moving on her own at this point, using Leon for whatever she felt like. She was riding him as fast as she could, because she liked the way it felt. Some drool came out of her open mouth as she felt her body about to cum. Leon was fighting to stay conscious and keeping himself from releasing too early. For him, fighting against fifty well armed and well trained snipers was easier than this. But he didn't care, it felt just as good to him as it did to her.

Leon felt himself lose control, at the same time Effie did. Both of them grunted as they came into and onto each other. Effie's limp body collapsed onto Leon's and she hugged him tightly, "That was wonderful. I'm sorry that I couldn't last any longer, but you're so big, and I am, rather was, a virgin."

Leon blushed, "Well, you couldn't really help that. I haven't got any action for over two years, so I was surprised I lasted all," he looked over at a clock on the bedstand, "thirty minutes! Holy shit!"

Effie rubbed her hands on his chest as she let out a satisfied sigh, "Would you please tell me, what happened at that enemy bunker? I like a good bedtime story before I fall asleep. Can you? I'll make it worth your while."

Leon smiled, "Huh, I guess I could."

And we're out of time. Next time, it'll be the full story of the bunker and Leon's injury. So far, it's looking like it's gonna be a long one. So yeah, brace yourself. I had to put in some romance, because it was gonna happen anyway. It wasn't much in the way of yiffy, but it was more to set the mood in the first place.
