#2 of Valentines!

Curt hauled himself around the corner to come crashing into an open lab door, knocking him flat on his tail, writhing on the floor. The door gently swunk on it's hinges and closed, leaving a hard floor with a sprawled out cat lying on it's surface.

"Ow."

Climbing to his feet, Curt looked at the door, the little label that read, "Chem 202". He checked his timetable and surely enough, it was his room. Rubbing his sore face, he swung the door back open and wandered in, finding a seat up the back of the lab and withdrawing a book and some pens to begin the lesson. His first lesson hadn't ended so well, and he didn't want to make a repeat performance. He sat and listened intently as they reviewed their homework from last night, none of which he had recieved. He jotted down a few of their questions, just to do them himself later, make sure he could understand, before taking down some notes that were written up on "Equilibrium, and the K constant"

The lesson was progressing well. All his equasions hadn't exactly worked out perfectly, but all his answers were correct, and not a single thing had exploded/burnt. The teacher, an elderly black-panther wandered over and inspected his work.

"I expect you're having a bit of trouble with this? We've been studying this for a few weeks, so don't worry too much."

Curt nodded and gave a weak smile, glancing from his page to the teacher, then back to his page again. He asked softly, "Are there any extra classes I could take? Like, a chemistry tutorial or something?"

The teacher smiled, his yellowing teeth seeming as lazy as the rest of his worn body. "Well, we don't actually have chemistry tutorials, but I can assign a chemistry tutor to you?"

Curt sighed in relief. it was like having a bag of flour lifted off his head. "That would be greatly appreciated Sir."

The teacher waves his paw dismissingly. "Oh please, if half the students in here had the determination you did, it'd make my job a lot easier." The teacher padded back to his desk at the front of the room, shuffling around in his cases. he pulled out a sheet of paper and smiled, padding back to the cat.

"Okay," he began. "we have one tutor available thursdays, during first period. We have one available mondays on fourth, and we have one... Well, there's a tutor here that has every one of our chemistry lessons scheduled off! Must have dropped a class. You're in luck my boy."

Once again the teacher padded rapidly to the front of the room, shuffling through a few cases and drawers before gathering some papers and wandering out the door. Curt blinked after him, watching his panther head pop back around the large laboratory door. "Well are you coming?"

Curt blinked again. "Now?" He mouthed, a confused look on his face.

"Yes now, c'mon!" The teacher said again, dissapearing from the doorway.

Curt scrambled about for his books and pens, stuffing them into his bag and rushing out the door after the teacher. For and old guy he sure could walk!Curt jogged to catch up, weaving in and out of hallways, buildings and various other random objects before arriving at the library.

"In we go then..." the panther teacher whispered, pushing the door open with a paw. Curt watched the reaction of his fur as the cool air-conditioning burst over him, the waves pulsating and rippling across them both. He giggled slightly and wandered in after his teacher, looking around the huge space they now stood in. Bookcases stood nearly double their height, making everything else in the room seel entirely too small. there were various ladders, stools and other furnatures for climbing purposes scattered around the place. Attatched were several different rooms, each with a different label. They wandered up to the counter, Curt still encaptivated by the limitless shelving, too distracted to be interested in their whispered conversation.

"This way now..." The librarian whispered to Curt, snapping him out of his trance. He turned around and his chemistry teacher had vanished, leaving him standing by the desk with the librarian. She smiled and wandered over to a door that read: "Study 5".

Jake was frustrated, reading over his drama transcript again and again. The task was to identify something odd about the text, and no matter how many times he read it, he couldn't figure it out. He was scanning the page for the seventh time when there was a knock. "It's open."

The door creaked open, the librarian gesturing for Curt to enter, so he did. He looked over to the desk and saw a boy pouring over a few pieces of paper, tracing over them with a paw. The door shut slowly behind him, the librarian having left. Curt bent a little lower to get a look at the boys face and froze. His cheeks flushed a deep red and his tail twitched to a still.

"uuh... Hi."

Jake peered up, "Can I help y..."

They both stood silently for a moment, Curts cheeks reddening further. Jake let his pen drop from his paw. The silence laster a good five seconds before Jake broke it.

"You? Why're you here?"

"Oh it's umm... Well in chemistry I... Uhm... Maybe I'll just leave..."

Curt turned around and opened the door again, quickly shuffling out.

"No wait!" Jake called before he could stop himself. He gave himself a mental slap in the head. There was something about that feline that still entrigued him. After last lesson he was't sure he wanted to find out, but then again, he had rushed off awefully quickly. He didn't give himself too much time to explain himself. "Come back in..." Jake finished, picking his pen back up and pretending to circle a few things.

Curt shuffled back inside the door, closing it gently behind him, standing tightly against it. "I can just, y'know... I can get another tutor if you want, it's just.."

"Tutor?" Jake cut in. "Is that what you're here for? Tutoring?"

Curt nodded a little. "It's just that my chem teacher said that I could do with some help and so he set this little thing up and if I'd known it was you I would have asked for another tutor because I know what I did was wrong and I'm sorry, but I couldn't help myself, so if you want me to leave-"

"Curt?" Jake cut in again.

"Y-yeah?" Curt stumbled, his paws nervously kneading together.

"Shut up and sit down."

Curt nervously padded to the chair in the centre of the room, opposite Jake, his wolven eyes almost boaring into his own. Jake could almost taste the pressure and tension he was creating for this poor boy, but he had to make him squirm just a little. Curt sat down and looked him up and down, realising that this was the boy he had tried to kiss no more than thirty minutes ago. Jake sat with his muzzle resting on laced paws, elbows planted firmly on the desk. Curt sat opposite, sitting back in his chair, upright, his paws sitting wrestlessly in his lap.

"Why'd you do it?" Jake barely had time to get his question out before it was answered.

"I don't know." again, Curt barely able to reply before having another question shot at him.

"How could you not know?"

"I just don't okay, I'm new here."

"Oh don't give me that cra-"

"I was scared okay?! I didn't know what to do!"

"So you tried to kiss me?"

"That's not how it was!"

"Then tell me how it was Curt!"

"I li-" Curt clenched his paws tightly, his muzzle clamping shut, his teeth squeezing together, eyes falling shut.

"You what Curt?"

"Nothing."

"You wha-"

"It's nothing!" Curt shouted, bashing his fists on the table.

Jake barely even flinched. he gave a slight nod and a distinct grunt before reaching under the desk and fumbling around in his bag. Curt took this oppertunity to rub at his eyes, making sure the tears had all run off. Jake returned and placed a few things across the table. A few notebooks, a text book, and some highliters.

"These are my notes. Flick through them, highlite what you think is important, then write it out again. If you still don't get it, write it out a third time. If you still don't get it after that, ask me." Jake stated, very coldly and very blandly before turning his pen back to his own work. Curt nodded and arranged the papers in front of him, flipping them, highliting and writing.

The next hour passed very slowly, and very quietly. Curts mind was ticking over with thoughts. Why did he do what he did last class? Sure Jake was cute and all but, there was no call for that... Maybe Jake had liked it? Maybe that's why he ran away so quickly? Maybe that's why he didn't want him to leave just now. Curt sat there, more confused than ever. He finally broke the long silence.

"Did you like it?"

Jake almost snapped his pen from shock. "What?"

Curt repeated. "Did you like it?"

"Uuh.." Jake looked up. Suddenly the control of the situation was slipping. He figured he could just make the poor kitten believe he was disinterested long enough to figure out what he wanted. "If I say yes?"

Curt smirked a little. he saw the wolf squirming in his seat. He leant across the table, his turn to be smug, taking up the same position that Jake had taken only moments ago. "Did you?"

Jake blushed, then tried to shake some sence into his skull. It didn't work.

Jake pushed forward and pressed his lips firmly to Curt's once again, the feline caught off-guard for the second time today, his new-found confidence seemingly melting away in the wolf's muzzle. Jake crawled onto the table, growling a little, pressing his muzzle deeper onto the feline's, both of them tasting a strange sence of deja-vu. Curt whimpered as he felt his chair rocking backwards a little, curt pushing forward further, till they had both toppled over and were lying on the floor, tangled in one another's limbs, locked in a passionate kiss that Curt had wished would last forever.

They remained on the floor, the two boyfurs kissing softer now, more tenderly. Paws were caressing every inch of exposed fur and thensome. By the time the bell had rung, Curt was covered with wolf-bites, and Jake had quite the tent going in his pants.

Curt lay smiling, hus head resting on Jake's arm, cuddling him in warmly. "I guess we'd better go then..." Curt said faintly, his voice floating with the clouds.

Jake murmured as if coming out from a deep, deep sleep, turning his head to face Curt and smiling. "What've you got now?"

Curt turned, his nose pressing against the wolf's. "You mean after break? Drama."

Jake's eyes lit up. "Break?" He giggled and kissed his new found friend again softly. "That means twenty minutes of free time..."

Curt giggles and wrapped his paw back around Jake's side, pulling in closer, lifting a leg up over the other boyfur. "Hmmm, well then for the next twenty minutes, I guess we're free..."

Jake latched onto Curts neck again, the feline letting out a giggle of escitement, rolling onto his back as the wolf slid on top of him. "Free? Oh no, the next twenty minutes are all mine."
