#2 of Alex's Journey to Become Star Fox Team

First off I don't own any Star Fox char, yata-yata-yata (We all know the drills).

I woke up in a small room which is quite familiar to me since it was my room. I was thinking through about the incident whether it was a dream or not, when suddenly a pillow flew and landed right on top of my face. I was surprise of that and I know who did it. "Alyssa..!" then I heard a giggle and a loud step away from my room.

I quickly got up and go after my sister for disturbing my sleep. My sister keeps on laughing and run toward the kitchen and there she hold on to mother. For me I was still exhaust from a sudden awake and running.

"You finally woke up, dear," said mother with a calm voice.

"That because Alyssa barge in to my room again, mom."

"That because I asked her, since you are a heavy sleeper on the weekend. Breakfast is ready son, go ahead and eat first with your sister."

"Okay, mom," said Alyssa and I in unison then headed to the table and eat some pancakes, and eggs.

"Mom, where is dad?" I asked since I didn't see father around the morning like the usual.

"Oh... he went to his work because of an urgent call, but he said that he will meet us at the usual park." She said after finishing her work at the kitchen.

"Why did they call dad when today we usually go to the park together?" I grumble while munching my breakfast. But mother didn't reply and so I quietly eat my breakfast. While eating my breakfast, I can't stop thinking about my dream because it felt so real.

My mother saw that and asked me, "Is there something troubling you dear?"

"I had a weird dream or a nightmare or something, about you being murdered and my sister went into coma at the hospital and I was completely injured. The weirdest thing is that it felt so real that I can't make it different."

"Well if what you think is real then it is real, dear."

"Huh, what do you mean mom?"

"I'm truly sorry to tell you this, dear. This will be our last time to see each other. What you saw in your dreams were real. I know it's hard for you to accept this but there is nothing more I can do but to give you happy thoughts when we were together."

"But if you're gone, how can I take care of Alyssa?" I asked as I started to cry.

"Alyssa is coming with me. The reason I came here is to pick her up."

"Mom, you can't do that. Alyssa is still young."

Alyssa went to mother and embrace her, "I know, but it was her decision to make not me or you."

I began to cry hard, "But if all of you leave then, I will be lonely. Why must all of you leave me, are you abandoning me, mother?"

"My dear Alex, We didn't want to abandon you. It's just that my time and Alyssa has come to an end," said mother coming closer to embrace me.

"Please brother, try to understand," continue Alyssa and started to cry.

I cried harder and yelled at them, "I don't want to understand. I've miss dad and now both of you, why do I have to suffer the losses, why do I have to suffer everything, and why did I bother to live?"

"I know you will have a hard time, but someday it will bare a fruit. Do not forget that we always watch over you from afar and also waiting for you when the time comes."

"Then what should I do, what choices do I have in my life?"

"You have plenty of choice, and whatever you choose you will have our blessing. Now you must be still and stop your water works. It's about time you wake up and hear your sister's condition. Remember, don't feel sad or bad of the outcome and we will always watching you," was mother's final words and then slowly went away toward a light that shun out of nowhere followed by Alyssa.

"No, please don't go, mother, Alyssa... NO!" I scream out loud. By the time I realize, I was in bed arms reach to the air as if I want to grab something before it was disappear.

I remember again about what I saw while I was asleep. At moment it was all just a dream trying to scare me off my tail. Then I heard loud commotions at the corridor. I saw one or two doctors running pass by my room as if urgent calls calling them to somewhere. At first I don't care who was in danger, but then I remembered the dream I had not a moment ago.

My fear began to haunt me, but when I want to get up, I was still tied up on the bed. With a struggle and efforts I can finally free myself. I remove any life supports that still attach on me and stand up, but my feet didn't do as they were told and I fell with my muzzle hit the floor first.

I groan in pain and cursing myself since I was out for three weeks and my body felt like a log. I began to pull myself to the door with the strength that I have and look at each side just to see that a nurse pushing a tray enter to a room three doors away at my right.

In any typical hospital, there are waiting bench lining perfectly at either side of the corridor. I reach the bench and tried to stand up, but my leg still didn't obey every command that my brain gave them. I keep trying on and on to stand but I fell on my knee in reward. It's true though when I think about the first try and in the end I can finally stand up even though my legs are still wobbling. The next step is to walk toward the designated door that I saw before. I use the bench as my support to walk. Although I fell sometimes, I finally have reached the first door.

‘Come on legs, don't fail me now. It's for my sister's sake!' I said in my own thought. Once again I use my strength to keep moving forward. My legs still didn't respond to what I ordered and yet I kept my balance.

About half way to go, I heard so many noises in that room. "Apply her with adrenalin quick!" is what I heard first thing. When I get closer, I heard a beeping sound and that sound somehow slower than any other. "She's not responding, doctor!" I heard again and this time that voice belongs to a female. Then I heard a loud long noise, without any thought I quicken my pace. "Resuscitation isn't working either! Ready the defibrillator, quickly!" I increase my pace again in order to reach the room, hoping that it wasn't my sister in that room. "A hundred okay everyone... CLEAR!" I heard a loud bang came after the word ‘clear' and that means things could get worst and may not return back forever. "No response, increase it to one fifteen. Okay... CLEAR!" a second bang heard when I was getting closer to the room.

I have reaches the room where all the commotions coming from. There I saw four doctors and two nurses, all of them were in state of emergency all right but who is the patient I don't really know until I saw the patient herself. That came into my state of shocked because the patient they tried to revive was none other than my own sister, Alyssa. ‘Alyssa. So the dream was true.' My tear began to leak and tried to yell, calling for her from a far. One of the doctors saw me and that doctor happens to be a strong adult sky-blue dragon with white hair. "What the... Fong, help me hold him down!" The dragon and the panda approach me and restrain me and the rest continue their works. "Still no respond, increase it to one fifty." The doctor that yelled place some sort of pair plate iron on my sister's chest. "Okay... CLEAR!" and there I heard where that banging sound coming from. The doctor that happens to be a kangaroo is trying to revive Alyssa.

He use the defibrillator three more times in order to make sure that her heart start beating, then he stop using it and all the nurses began to stop of what they're doing. The kangaroo doctor lowered his head and shakes it lightly to everyone that sees him. One of the nurses looked for a clock, "Estimate time of death 12:16 AM." I heard her voice like it was supported by one microphone attach to 10 subwoofer set to max. I wanted to scream out loud like I did before, but I can't as my conscious started to fade. The reason my conscious is fading was not because someone injected me with a drug, but it was me because I want to run away from the reality.

"Oh God, he is out cold. Help me carry him to his room, Doctor Zachael." Said doctor Fong to the blue dragon that held me tight.

"No time, we need to check him up as well," said Doctor Zachael. "Quick lie him down to the bed next to her." Doctor Fong replied and took me to the bed next to my sister. "Check for his pulse, I hope he didn't get the worse shock ever." Doctor Fong followed Doctor Zachael's order and use his stethoscope to check my heart beat.

Doctor Fong stop for a second hearing my disharmonize rhythms, "Oh no, not him as well. His heart beat pacing like a train, if this keeps up he will have a cardiac arrest."

"Understood, get the defibrillator ready. Help me place the wire, Nurse Kyra," said Doctor Zachael while placing a cord or two at my chest. Nurse Kyra the lioness applies his answer by placing the cord in to my left arm. After everything was in place Kyra the lioness switch on the meter, and followed with a loud noise. At first she thought it was a machine error, but it turns out that I do had a flat line. "What the... DEFIBRILLATOR!"
