The tea kettle lets out a squeal. You take it off the burner and look to Rainbow Dash. "Are you sure you don't want any?"

"Nah, I'm good." She shakes her head. A few minutes later, with a small mug of tea between your hooves and with Rainbow Dash helping you carry a basket of green beans pinched between her teeth, the two of you cautiously make your way into the living room.

Rainbow Dash plops the wicker basket down onto the coffee table. "Thank you." You place your cup of tea beside the basket. It was much too hot to drink right now so you decide to let it sit and cool off. Your now bare body is quick to warm up from the heat that the burning fire place radiated. You always were too scared to start a fire in the fire place(you were afraid of burning yourself) so it was nice to have Rainbow Dash here to help you get it going. "It's so much nicer in here." You hum, nibbling on a green bean.

Rainbow Dash was watching the steam rise from your cup. "Eh, if you say so. I prefer the cold." The blue mare shifts a little next to you, trying to get more comfortable. She leans back against the couch, her arm resting around your shoulders. Rainbow Dash was always a touchy-feely kind of pony... "So, what was it that you wanted to talk to me about anyways?"

Your eyes move away from the mare beside you. You stare at the cup as well, too embarrassed to look at her. "Well wh.. What do you think of Rarity... a-and Apple Jack? You know, seeing eachother?"

You look at Rainbow Dash from the corner of your eye. She looks a little surprised. "Well what do you mean? I kind saw it comin'." Rainbow Dash shrugs and picks a few green beans from the basket. "I'm happy for them, if that's what you mean." She says between bites.

You quickly shake your head. "Oh no, trust me, I'm happy for them too. I'm just a little j-jealous." You clarify. You look towards Raindow Dash again with a small frown. "As you probably know, I've never really been interested in dating. But since Rarity and Applejack came out as a couple, I realized how nice it must be to have a special somepony..." You sit forward a bit. You give Rainbow Dash a pleading look. "You're the most social pony I know and I look up to you a lot! I was really hoping you could teach me how to be more confident."

Rainbow Dash blinks. A soft blush highlights her cheeks. The rosy glow quickly fades away and she pulls you into a hug. She looks absolutely delighted! "Jeez, you're embarrassing me. Heck yeah I'll help you! When I'm done with you, you'll be such a social butterfly that you'll sweep everypony off their hooves!" The encouraging words that Rainbow Dash was spouting made you blush hard. It takes you a second, but you gladly return the embrace with a wide grin.

Eventually, the two of you end the hug. Rainbow Dash got to her hooves. "If we're gonna do this thing, I should get going. I'll need some time to set up your first lesson." You pick up your tea with a nod towards her. You watch Rainbow as she bustles towards the front door. "Your training will start tomorrow. I want you to meet me at Sugar Cube Corner, 10AM on the dot." She grabs her scarf and raps it loosely around her neck. "See ya bright and early!" Rainbow Dash calls before heading out the door.

You're left alone now with your thoughts about tomorrow. You feel excited, but also very nervous. You wonder, what will Rainbow Dash have planned for you tomorrow? You feel a little anxious about tomorrow, but that can't be helped. You take a sip of your tea. Tomorrow's bound to be interesting.
